We go there at least once a week with the dogs! The dogs go straight behind the counter because they know they'll be given attention and treats! 🥰 Best staff and great selection of treats and snacks! They are always getting new stuff. Prices are very reasonable as well.

This place is amazing. Please consider dumping the big chain stores and come here for your pets needs. We have a dog with lots of stomach issues. They have worked with me for the entire summer to get Libby on a food she is happy with but more importantly her vet is happy with. These folks are top notch, listen to your needs and will jump through hoops to serve you. We will be back next summer! Soon to head south as we follow the songbirds!

Brought my Golden here today for some toys. They have a great selection of quality products and food. Staff was A+++

The staff is so helpful! I went in just curious about options for feeding my cats, the staff listened to me as I gave a detailed description of what I was currently feeding. They did not pressure me to buy anything new and gave me tips for what I already had. I didn't end up buying anything today but I will definitely purchasing here the next time I go shopping for my boys!

Looking for a different /better selection of pet supplies? This is the place to go in the Plattsburgh area. Good variety of food and treats that cannot be found in the regular stores. Nice toys - of course. Knowledable staff. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for better food and treats for your aging/special needs fur-baby.

Can't say enough great things from the team here! We came in to get my dog setup with some winter gear and everyone was super helpful with measuring, trying things on and adjusting. Definitely the kind of service that would bring me back time and time again!

Two dogs, three cats, (and then some.) All of our needs met, all of our questions answered. Sue and her team are the best. Thank goodness for this business. We have healthy animals and few vet visits and we attribute it in large part to the high quality foods that they eat. Plus it's fun. And we are always greeted with cheerful attitudes. This is a great local business that I love and keep turning back to for food for my 3 dogs. Pricey? Yes, but the quality speaks for itself. I have one dog who's awful picky with his food and one with a very sensitive stomach, and after going in and speaking with the employees, they were able to set us on the right track for a good dog food. They gave us friendly advice, more than our own vets gave us (who we used to get our dog food from for our dog with a sensitive stomach), and were sincere in wishing us the best of luck with the dog food we left with, which, following their advice, we did have very good luck. Their rewards program is pretty awesome, having 3 dogs the bags go by quickly and before we know it we have a free bag of $50 dog food. Every dog food we bring home from tails, all of our dogs love. I never imagined I would be one who spends a boat load on dog food when I can just buy a $20 bag of food at Walmart, but their selection is definitely worth every penny, and it feels great to support the small business. If you have the extra money to spare in feeding your dog or even your cat right, look no further than tails. Their staff is well educated and friendly, a much better experience than you'll get buying animal food anywhere else. I couldn't recommend them enough.
