Taipei Astronomical Museum

The Taipei Astronomical Museum is a great museum to explore, I learned a lot. Inside are a lot of educational and interactive installations to play with. Suitable for kids. The entrance to the museum is cheap. You can also use easycard to enter. There is also a 3D movie theater showcasing different movies such as a Trex dinosaur movie and movie about our solar system. For internationals they have audio devices to listen to subtitles in different languages. The museum has 4 floors. If you visit everything, you can spend the whole day here. The museum also has a shop where you can buy gifts, stones, fossils and many other goodies. During the week it is not busy. In the weekend it can be very busy with schoolkids. There is no food in the museum.

Very entertaining and educational place. My 7 year old son's curiosity peaked so this is such a nice learning experience for children to learn more about our universe. Exhibitions were interactive which makes it more interesting for kids adn adults alike.

It was a fun experience since I’m quite a nerdy guy about space stuff. Bought the ticket on Klook and just need to show my QR Code then voila. They have 3 floors and all of them are fun and giving me more knowledge. The extra ride was fun as well. But if you have a vertigo might not be so fun since the ride almost full of spinning.

We visited on a rainy day and ended up having such a great time! The exhibits were fascinating and full of interesting facts about the universe, planets, and space exploration. You really do learn something new at every corner. We only went to the Exhibit Hall and tried the Cosmic Adventure ride, which was a slow, story-driven experience about aliens and meteors that kids will enjoy.

Perfect place for family activities and highly recommend to visit the 4F ride. It voice guided tour will help children understand the solar system from the Sun to Jupiter and it's moon Europa.

One of the best museums I have been to. Great for both adults and especially children. The tickets are a bang for your buck for what is on offer. We paid $10 AUD on the day (purchase tickets from the machine on the left once you enter) to have access to the main exhibition, the dome theater (which has the comfiest seats) and the must-do space ride. Re-learning the physics involved was really helpful and the museum’s portrayal of extra terrestrial life is certainly interesting. Keep up the great work and maintaining the facilities!

Fun and cheap activity to do in Taipei. I visited this place 3 times but still feel it’s interesting. So many children at weekends, better go on weekdays if possible

It was like a mini field trip for my kiddos. They enjoyed the interactive exhibit which was for free. Wish we also visited the science museum and children's park nearby but they weren't part of our itinerary that day. The toilet here is clean and the gallery was cool with airconditioning. The Taiwanese people here were very helpful and the auntie who welcomed us speaks English well. You have the option to watch documentaries but with a fee ranging from 100-150NTD.

Local museum with fun options for children. I watched an entire Imax film on NASA in Chinesse with no subtitles. The film was very well done. I only wish I knew what they were saying!
