I was incredibly excited about my much-awaited annual vacation to the Maldives and Taj Coral Reef made it all the more special and memorable from the moment we arrived. Arrival & Check-In: Our experience began with a warm welcome at the airport where we were greeted with name signage, followed by a comfortable one-hour speedboat transfer. What truly stood out was the in-villa check-in, a seamless and luxurious start to our stay. We had booked a Water Villa for 4 nights and the view of the Indian Ocean was simply breathtaking. The personalized welcome message and bed décor from Taj added a lovely, thoughtful touch. Accommodation & Service: Our villa was stocked with a well-maintained mini bar and snacks. The turn-down service was always on time and the staff made sure our villa was spotless and welcoming throughout our stay. The villa itself was spacious, beautifully designed and gave us the perfect setting to relax and soak in the calm, peaceful vibe of the Maldives. Dining: We had an incredible culinary journey across the resort's three restaurants - Bokkura, Open Grill and Reef Bar. Each offered a variety of cuisines including Indian, Asian, Local Maldivian, European, Mediterranean, Mexican and Italian. From lavish breakfast spreads to indulgent lunches and dinners, we truly ate and drank to our heart’s content. The resort offers premium alcohol options – beers, wines, whiskey and the staff were always ready with recommendations. Activities & Spa: We enjoyed snorkeling sessions, dolphin cruise and the Male city tour. I also had the pleasure of visiting the Spa, where I was treated by Dipa, who previously served at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. She was outstanding! Truly one of the best spa treatments I've ever had. A special thanks to Durlav, the Spa Manager, for being so warm and going beyond his role to help us plan our itinerary with great suggestions. Staff & Hospitality: The people at Taj Coral Reef made our stay unforgettable. A few names that stood out: Abigail, Imali, and Reehan - who greeted us daily and went above and beyond to offer the best food and drink recommendations. Abigail’s service in particular was exceptional. Zaki (Front Office) - who welcomed us with an in-room check-in and gave us a great overview of the resort and activities. Tariq (Restaurant Manager) - who frequently checked in with us during our meals and ensured we had a great experience. Mr. Nitin Walia (Resort Manager) – who personally stopped by to greet us, which was a lovely gesture and truly appreciated. Their warm and interactive approach made us feel completely at home. Every single team member we interacted with was courteous, thoughtful and professional. Final Thoughts: From the airport pickup to the in-villa service, exceptional dining, top-notch spa and warm, attentive staff, Taj Coral Reef Maldives offered us one of the finest hospitality experiences we've ever had. Taj lives up to its standards. The service quality, staff, hospitality all top notch. |The rooms can be done better as they are little old / outdated. Must be because of water and humidity. ||However the staffs is extremely pleasant and helpful. I may not remember everyone’s names but few of them i can - Mr Zika, Mr Pawan, Mr Juvian, Mr Prakash Chef, Mr Rana, Ms Sneha, Ms Lakshmi (JIVA), and other silent warriors whose names i might not remember. Ms Sneha is continuously on her feet meeting all guests along with Chef Prakash and Head Chef. |They all were working as a team helping each and every guest throughout the day. ||all of the staff on the Bar, Bokkura each and everyone of them are excellent. The excursion team, the housekeeping team who keeps your RooM tidy throughout the day are just excellent. ||Even the Speed Boat Staff and conceirge team at the airport are so helpful. ||Amazing rooms with an ocean view with amazing swimming pool, deck and with a view of the sea. Our deck was so beautiful with stairs to OCEAN was breath taking. ||The food and drinks quality is just amazing. An all inclusive meal means you can eat as much as you can but the portion sizes are so huge that your tummy is going to be full in just one dish. ||Variety of cocktails at the bar will keep you engaged throughout the trip and tipsy. ||Location is very near to the airport and just a 35-40 min speed boat is enough. ||Plus the team gives you a very warm fair well. ||One of the best properties to enjoy your holidays.

We got refreshing drinks, warm smiles, and a sense that we were in for something special. And we were.|A huge thank you to the restaurant team, especially Abigail and Rana. Eating with you both felt like being invited to a friend’s home — kind, caring, and always full of good energy.|Sneha, the F&B Manager, went out of her way to make partner’s birthday unforgettable. She arranged this private little setup in a quiet lounge that felt like a movie scene. Beautiful, cozy, and so personal — I’ll remember it forever.|Housekeeping — the best ever. The room was always spotless, but that birthday surprise? A flower and leaf arrangement on the bed that spelled out Happy Birthday... I didn’t even want to mess it up, it was that lovely.|And then there’s Elnas — wow. Her energy lit up the birthday night. We were having the best time, and she matched our vibe perfectly. Honestly, some of our best laughs happened thanks to her.|And Adam — what a guy. So chill. He gave us complimentary services like it was no big deal, but it made us feel so looked after and special.|Every single person we met added something to our trip. We felt seen, celebrated, and completely relaxed.|We left sun-kissed, happy, and already dreaming about going back. Taj Coral Reef — you’ve got our hearts. 💙

I am impressed with welcome and the assistance for the resort.||The resort is very beautiful, with all the activities of water sports.|I have booked for water villa, it has a pleasant and epic view of ocean. Spacious room and outside ocean view balcony is awesome.||All the staff are very helpful and always be there for you whether it is restaurant, bar or room service...Thanks to all , making my stay pleasant and memorable.||Overall, I had an excellent time and would love to be there again soon.

Me and my partner we were on our honeymoon trip. Had a great experience living in this beautiful island with great service, amazing warm welcome and high class hospitality from all the staff members. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, greeting us with warm big smiles and a nice complimentary drink upon check in. The accommodation was nothing short of luxurious. Room was spacious, elegantly decorated for our honeymoon celebration and equipped with all the high tech modern techs. Had a best experience of beach side dinner with all inclusive drink packages. Overall, our stay at Taaj Coral Reef exceeded all the expectations. Must recommended to everyone to experience luxurious staycation in this property.
