We are very satisfied with our recent trip to Taj Coral Reef Maldives. The resort is quite stunning, with great views and beautifully maintained grounds. The dedicated staff at Taj provided an incredible service. Our beach and water villas were always immaculate, and all our housekeeping needs were met with proactive, thoughtful service. The meal experience was superb, all thanks to the wonderful team at Bokura Restaurant. We want to specifically thank Imali, Hussain, Najah, Saman, Abigail, wonderful “Chef Prakash” and the entire Bokura staff for making every meal feel delicious and special. They were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and consistently went the extra mile and always provided service with a warm, authentic smile. We felt truly cared for by every member of the staff. We highly, highly recommend Taj Coral Reef Maldives for the beautiful location, and the world-class service.

From the moment we arrived, we realised — there’s Tajness, and then there’s Taj Coral Maldives! This resort redefines pampering — warm smiles, attention to detail, and that signature Taj care at every step. GM Mr. Nitin Walia personally ensures precision in every experience — his leadership shows in the resort’s flawless operations. Chef Prakash Dubey planned our meals beautifully in advance, balancing local flavours with comfort food — every plate was perfection. The F&B team — Shujau, Imali, Krishna, and Tariq — were exceptional. They served with heart and always recommend us with the finest food items. The Rooms team, especially Daksh and Rasel, surprised us daily with creative towel art — elephants, dogs, turtles, even a “kid” made out of towels — our daughter loved every bit of it! Our welcome felt like a celebration, and the farewell truly touched our hearts. Overall, this resort is a 10/5 experience. A true Maldivian gem - soulful, and full of love. If you’re planning a family vacation, Taj Coral Maldives is where memories are made for life.

However, what truly elevated our experience was the incredible service provided by the dedicated staff. A massive thank you and special recognition goes to Mr. Daksh, the Housekeeping Supervisor. His leadership and attention to detail were evident every day. Our villa was always immaculate, and he personally ensured all our housekeeping needs were met with proactive, thoughtful service. The dining experience was another highlight, all thanks to the wonderful team at Bokura Restaurant. We want to specifically thank Imali, Hussain, Najah, Reehan, Saman, Abigail and the entire Bokura staff for making every meal feel special. They were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and consistently went the extra mile—remembering our names, favorite drinks, and always providing service with a warm, authentic smile. Beautiful island, lovely to have the coral reef to explore everyday - we saw plenty of fish, rays and reef sharks. The island is small. We travelled with our 2 children, there’s no kids club but super safe and plenty for them to do. The team make it super special. I have a gluten allergy and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Special mention to Chef Prakash, Trisna, Tariq, Imali and Rana! The excursions were also lots of fun - our favourite was the turtle swim.

Fantastic experience right from arriving at Maldives. Pampered by Staff from a seamless check-in experience throughout my stay, never had to worry about food and drinks and everything was presented in a flash. A big shout out to Daksh for a pleasant experience in Water villa and also to the restaurant and bar team (Imali, Abigail, Naiah, Saman, Hussain, Reehan, Shehan, Ibrahim,Rana,Monty) for being courteous , prompt and providing service with a smile . Thanks to chef for the delectable food and also to Trishna for coordinating so efficiently during lunch and dinner to avoid any hassles to guests. Sunset cruise and the photo shoot was a very pleasant experience during our stay. The only aspect I feel Taj Mgt can look into is the addition of a another restaurant that can offer a buffet spread during lunch/dinner to add a little more variety. WiFi connection also needs to be a little seamless ,it was a little sporadic and intermittent.Overall it was a great rejuvenating vacation for our family. Wah Taj!!

We 5 couples travelled to Maldives and stayed at Taj coral reef resorts for 3 Nights recently. We had a very excellent experience right from welcome, Room allocation, and then the spacious water viilas decor , cleanliness etc. The hospitality , food quality ,Taste and service is excellent. The excursions are easily available. The previlaged complimentary wellness spa was authentic and upto the mark. I specially extend my thanks to Pawan, Imali and her team. Manish Pawar..Nashik.

Pros: Restaurants and front desk staff all are courteous and accommodating. There's a lady waitress in the restaurants from Ghana Abigail ( If I am not wrong). She is really very hospitable and offered exceptional service. Interns like Esther , really did a great job. Rooms are spacious. Overall loved the stay. Thanks to the staff. Snorkeling was good . Indeed loved it. Cons: Minor issues: 1. Right from slippers to shaving kit, not given till asked 2. There was drainage smell in washroom while bathing, water clogged for a very little time. 3. Sofa bed was very noisy. Comforter given in main bed doesn't fit two properly 4. Breakfast menu was a little modified everyday, but lunch options are the same everyday Major disappointment Excursion: We had a complimentary sunset cruise in our package. But I would rather prefer to call it sunset photo cruise. Mainly to mention, staff member was so rude and commanding in tone. He treated as if he was doing a favour for us by letting us on the boat and was doing loose talk which in the first place spoiled our mood. Then the main event in reality i. First board the sunset boat with life jacket ii. Step on to the deck and sit only in the allocated place iii. Give your phone, staff member will take your photos. That's it and return. After reading the description I waited for this for 2 days and was so excited. But it is just a photoshoot with our own camera nothing else. Which is quite disappointing.
