I was hungry but didn't feel like going very far, so I came here for some much needed sushi for lunch yesterday, and it was a okay. I wasn't sure what to expect since it seems to get mixed reviews, but I was in a risk taking kind of mood, so I went in.
As someone who is not a sushi connoisseur, I never know how to actually review a sushi place since don't eat a ton of it. But, after reviewing the menu, I was thrilled to see that I found a few things I wanted to try. I started off with Miso soup which was quite good. Not the biggest portion, but good non the less. I ended up ordering the Yam Yam sushi, which was I know I have had before. It was cream cheese, salmon and deep fried. Isn't this also known as a New York Roll? No?
The sushi was freshly made and also came with a salad. While the salad was pretty pathetic, the sushi and miso soup were quite good. I was starving, but wasn't totally full when I left. I mean, I was satisfied, and starving when I came in, but was happy with the food here, so no complaints.
My server was quick and attentive, so that made a huge difference. Prices are reasonable with quite a few options which I liked. I would gladly return in the future, even though the place isn't tremendously big.
