"I found Take Two to be a deliberately low-key, neighborhood watering hole that Sigal and Foster opened quietly in the former Toyshop space; they intentionally avoided big social-media hype and announced the bar only a week after they began pouring. The bar projects a relaxed, fun aura and a deliberately unpretentious, Italian-infused Americana food program designed by Liz Serrone, with standout items like Bolognese-smothered fries, jalapeño popper arancini, and banana pudding tiramisu — dishes that aim to ‘be better than expected’ without chasing buzzy status." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
