We had a very nice evening last week at the vineyard. The tasting was a great experience: we got 4 wines, all of great quality and really different taste. Anthony told us about each wine and provided recommendations for how to taste wine, which flavors to look for. He also recommended the tasty local foods with which wine is best paired. Overall, the experience was amazing and exceeding expectations a lot. Do not hesitate to book your visit.

I wanted to start this off by saying that Anthony truly just went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I. We accidentally booked the wine tour on a day where he usually doesn’t host them and Anthony still decided to show up and give JUST US the tour of a lifetime instead of understandably cancelling it. I’m not the most avid wine drinker, however, the way that Anthony explains how the wine is brought from his very own vines to our table, with history, facts and so much more is absolutely fascinating. I walked out of that vineyard with a smarter brain and a much fuller stomach. The wines that he presented to us were truly amazing. Starting with the white wine, then the rose, leading to a red wine, finishing it off with an incredible liquor (all of course made in house). The aromas, colors and flavors in each one of those were vibrant and you can tell how it they were meticulously made with love, care and great knowledge for the craft. The time, effort and dedication put into creating this amazing experience is truly applaudable. I’d recommend anyone to come here if they want to try some great wines, learn more about how wines are made, gain more knowledge on Malta, meet a charismatic vintner, or just to have a great time with someone they love. 10/10

Wow what a way to spend an evening! Visited on the 13 Aug, following booking months before our stay in Gozo. Booked because I liked the reviews I read & because it was a local business. Additionally, it was the first time I had visited a winery which actually had grapes growing. I had always picked the wrong time elsewhere. Everything from the first email contact to end of the evening was absolutely spot on. We had such a lovely time. It was so interesting & educational. I will always look at wine differently now & appreciate what goes into wines & the relentless hard work necessary, to produce quality wines which are not large scale 'mass produced'. What Tal-Massar Winery do & what they produce is an absolute credit to their dedication & hard work. They are such lovely people, they deserve every success going, to reward their hard work & dedication over many years. To hear their story is just so interesting & compelling. They are both hosts to be admired. We loved every minute we were there & certainly came away a lot more educated on wine, than when we arrived!! Trust me you will not be disappointed. If you're in Gozo or thinking of going, this has to be a 'must'. We intend to go back to Gozo again in the future & a return visit will be on the cards. The cost represents excellent value for money. The wines & food...wonderful all round. The setting & views...beautiful. All three of us had a perfect evening. I also want mention transport. I didn't want drive (for obvious reasons) so booked taxis to & from Kercem via transport company TRAC, who came recommended by the winery. I can see why, the service was outstanding. Collected dropped off when we wanted & collected on time at the end of the evening by such friendly & pleasant drivers. The Taxi recommendation was spot on & made for a stress free wonderful evening. In the email exchange I had some 4 months before our holiday, there was line "We will do our very best to make your experience a truly enjoyable one! ". You absolutely did that & more. Thank you so much. We came away with a couple of bottles of white, a red & the fortified liqueur wine. My intention was that all 4 would make their way back to England. Unfortunately, reflecting on the wonderful taste experience, only two made it back to England. The others were appreciated in the way we were taught on the evening back before we left. The 2 that made it back, will be appreciated in the way we were taught, when the three of us have a reminiscing evening together. An important local piece of Gozo made it back to England & will be drank with fond memories of a wonderful evening at the Tal-Massar Winery. Thank you, both. Good luck with all your future endeavours.

Very rude. Him and his family are very territorial and are willing to damage property and mock people over a PUBLIC parking space. Bold of you to say I never came. I visited 3 times at your winery. Must admit that your GARB is very good, I even have an unopen bottle at home. But the way you and your family treated a group of people who were staying at a farmhouse in front of your home was very rude. Don't go putting wine boxes on other people's cars and mocking them.

What a wonderful experience in wine creation, vineyard maintenance, and the history of Gozo and Malta. Anthony was a most intelligent and knowledgeable guide through the two hour tasting. I, and my companions, appreciated the care that he took to answer questions, the pairings of local foods, and showing inexperienced tasters how to fully taste the wine. This really needs to be on your must do when in Gozo list. Price was €30 for tasting of four wines, snacks, and said drinking of the rest of the bottles. Loved it, you need to book your spot. Thank you Anthony!!

Had a lovely wine tasting experience. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about wine and talk you through tasting 5 of their wines. The tasting also comes with a very generous cheese and meat plate and they offer pairing suggestions. Amazing experience in a beautiful setting and some of the most unique wines I’ve ever had. Would recommend to anyone visiting Gozo.

First off, let me start by saying before this tasting I’ve never had a wine i’ve liked even remotely. I just assumed I didn’t like wine because its way too sour and acidic for me. What I learned was I’ve never tasted good wine before, and man, Anthony produces some amazing wine. Even my friends who do drink wine, said it was by far the best they ever had. This was an eye opening experience and I learned a lot about wine! I actually do like it and I even have a nose for it. Anthony is a genuinely amazing guy. He is super knowledgable and is an expert at what he does. I felt like I was being taught by a wine wizard! What made the experience even better was all of the food and cheeses he carefully selected to pair with each wine, which took his already amazing product and transformed it into new dimensions. The best part of all? Anthony was an amazing host! I didn’t expect a wine tasting to be so much fun. He was super nice, funny, and easy to talk to. It felt like we were already friends as soon as we met, and that goes a long way to elevate the experience even further. I couldn’t have been happier!

Last Saturday, we visited Tal-Massar Winery together with seven friends from Belgium. Anthony and Marisa were wonderful hosts that immediately made us feel comfortable at their beautiful place. After a very concise and interesting talk by Anthony in the vineyard, we tasted a variety of their wines, accompanied by again a very precise and enlightening explanation by Anthony. We would recommend everyone to go there, to enjoy the hospitality, the scenery of the vineyard and its surroundings, and the very tasty wines.
