Talitha Coffee Roasters (Roastery Only)

Recently visited Cafe Virtuoso. What a great Experience! A wonderful cafe with lovely staff. Their banana bread is definitely a must try. Even the chocolate croissant was amazing. For drinks we tried iced Mexican Mocha and Matcha Latte. It’s a good spot to hangout and get some work done as well. Definitely a must visit.

Love this Coffee shop. If you're a coffee lover definitely visit this one! Americanos and nitros are amazing! I love the floral hints in my americanos so it s perfect!) Have in mind they close at 14:00 There's a shop too, so you can purchase some coffee bags as well as other merch They also have barista classes, check it out if you're interested.

Nice caffe. The coffee tastes amazing. I got the Beirut bloom. It was heavenly really. They have organic coffee. Their dairy free alternatives is oat milk, almond milk, and soy. They sell coffee too. It’s amazing. I walked through a not friendly neighborhood to get to here so keep that in mind if your walking

This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. The baristas not taking anyone’s orders in line and gossiping as if they’re hanging out in their bedroom. Gave half of the people the wrong coffee order. Black coffee is not hard to mess up and they still managed to. Even after they forgot to make two of the sandwiches the staff did not even try to show they cared.

Came here because of the great reviews it had over a couple of blogs. This place totally met my expectations. I had an espresso made of the Virtuoso blend, which was incredible. The staff member that helped me was super knowledgable and made a pretty accurate recommendation according to what I mentioned I was looking for. He also shared they have several courses and trainings! I totally recommend visiting the spot and indulging into some quality beans 👌🏼

A quiet Roastery experience with expert baristas who have amazing customer service and attention. Well worth the trip, will come back again! Try: Ethiopian Shantewene on pour over.

First time here and the customer service is 5/5 easy! The employees are very knowledgeable, provided me great service and walked me around the site to show me what they offered. I'm not one for fruity coffees but I gave it a shot and it was good. Better than others ones I've tried. The rating will change on my next visit when I try their house virtuoso double espresso. I'll be back!

A really great coffee shop to get work done if you need very little to no music. I went on a Thursday and it was very quiet and laid back. Very friendly staff, one of the baristas brought me my drink which I thought was really nice of her. I purchased the Iced Mocha which had a rich mouthfeel. I loved that it came in a mason jar & a metal straw! Trendy yet environmentally friendly. Definitely plan on going back.

At the same location as the old Cafe Virtuoso. This location no longer has a cafe that serves brewed coffee, only whole beans. So strictly a roaster that provides other businesses or if you have your own machine. It's unclear if it's the same owners as cafe virtuoso just minus the cafe or new owners and roasters who have taken over the operation. The signage for brewed coffee are still up inside so it must still be in transition phase. The espresso machine was on the front counter but not for sale, I'm sure they could easily sell it to another coffee shop. Sigh. One of my favorite coffee shops gone, hopefully the same beans so I can make it myself.

My bar/restaurant has been using Talitha Coffee for over a year now. Since switching we have been more than happy with the product and the customer service. We used them for cold brew, drip coffee and iced tea. Jake has been great for all our requests and checks in with us often. Would recommend them for an organic San Diego coffee roaster.

This is a review of their wholesale program and staff. As the owner of an 80 year old restaurant, we wanted to make sure to support local businesses where and when we can. Talitha Coffee is one of our newest vendors, and we couldn't be happier with their outstanding coffee. While their coffee is amazing (our guests love our espressos and other espresso based drinks. Our Espresso Bar uses Talitha Beans exclusively), we really enjoy their customer service and their entire wholesale department. Their sales team are all so friendly, their website is so easy to navigate and makes ordering our beans a simple minute long process. Their driver(s) are so nice and professional. While we started with only using their espresso beans and teas, we are actually looking at how we can bring more of their products in -- from their powders, syrups, and maybe even use them as our drip coffee. Thanks for powering our mornings, and those of our guests, with your amazing coffee.

It's 2024, there's so much coffee in the world....but if you're reading this review it means that you've found the best. The balance of high quality, but also with a vision, the care and quality of artisan craft, and the star of the show is the wholesale program, Jake can get you ready and where you need to go whether you're opening a smaller mom and pop shop, or looking to turn into an industrial giant his service is top shelf, it's like having a coffee chauffeur, not only consistent and attentive he's also really keen on picking up on your style and taste and always has amazing recommendations. I wish I owned more coffee shops to bring more Talitha coffee into the world and work more with this team!!

Talitha Coffee and the Talitha team is so amazing! Talitha offers a wide variety of fair trade and organic single and blend coffees with their master roaster pulling out the best nuances and flavor profiles honoring the regions the green beans were farmed. We have been in the coffee service business for the past 18 years and understand while having an awesome quality product is so important, we also know backing up your product with quality customer service is just as important, if not more. I've been a wholesale customer for over 10 years, previously with Cafe Virtuoso and now Talitha. It's an honor to tell our customers that we serve organic coffee that is locally roasted. Talitha Coffee and Jake Jiron have been fantastic to work with. Their team is very responsive and communicative, and go above and beyond to provide great service. Talitha consistently provides high-quality coffee beans that are enjoyed by Jimbo's customers and staff members. The coffee that is brewed from their beans is flavorful, fragrant and well-balanced. They offer a nice variety of brews and have a long list of sustainability initiatives. The Jimbo's team is proud to work with this local San Diego coffee brand that has such an important mission.

I have been purchasing this coffee for myself for years. I used to go in and pick up bags when it was cafe virtuoso as I live 9 mins away walking from the San Diego store location. Since the name change I've had to purchase online and pay $7 to ship one $20 bag of coffee each time which is outrageous when I can literally walk 10 minutes to the store and pick up if it was available however when I called I was told they just put random bags out to purchase. I don't like that I'm unable to go in and purchase the product I want and have to pay almost half of the price of the coffee to have it shipped a few blocks away!!! Love the mission and coffee but do better for your loyal customer this is insanity.
