Tall Tales Rooftop Bar

Great place to get together with friends, family or a date night! Great atmosphere with an amazing rooftop bar, seating outside is spacious and luxurious with fire pits, music and the stars! They have great small plates and drinks, NA drinks are amazing! Great vibe and spot on the East side!

This was my second time at this rooftop bar, and I’m officially sold. The staff has been fantastic both times—even with different people—which says a lot. The drinks are top-tier, but what really surprises me is the food. Most rooftop spots phone it in on the menu—cute drinks, nice ambiance, and food that’s just… there. Not here. The food is genuinely great. Thoughtful, flavorful, and clearly not an afterthought. You can tell they care about the details—everything from the greenery to the cocktails feels considered. And a special shoutout for having a non-alcoholic menu that’s actually exciting. That’s rare and really appreciated. Honestly, this bar is a big reason why I booked the same hotel two weeks in a row. That’s how much I like it!

Great vibe at this rooftop bar on top of the Waymore- sunsets are hard to beat, saw some fireworks when the Sounds were playing, great live dj the times I’ve been there, bartenders make good cocktails- great for a party starter to the night…cozy fire pit, private nooks, you can be inside or outside, fun bar to hangout with your group of friends

Delicious drinks and great atmosphere. Too chilly in the winter to be outside but still a lovely view of the city.

I had one of the best nights at tall tales, the rooftop bar at the Waymore hotel. I went there for happy hour with friends and got two glasses of wine on happy hour pricing. The vibe of the bar was great. They had incredible music playing all night which I really appreciate it. All of the music was from the Golden era of hip-hop, who doesn’t love that. The staff was really awesome and very nice and talked to us a bit early on. We went to dinner across the street and then actually came back to tall tales afterwards because we had such a good time the first time around we wanted to continue the night. The rooftop is absolutely huge. You don’t realize that first how big it is, but it extends the length of the building and has one of the best views of downtown Nashville. Highly recommend but also don’t want to get too popular because I don’t want it to be overcrowded in the future.

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and upon arrival, when my fiancé asked the waiter for a Red Bull, they called her trashy… She had just had surgery and had to wear an outfit that made her feel uncomfortable already, that really made her feel bad. We ended up moving tables and all ordered from the bar the rest of the night…I guess it’s customary for the staff to insult the guests… cool ambience, awful wait staff, will not return!

Best view in Nashville! Very interesting rooftop with multiple fire pits, good drinks. Perfect for all the things!!! Can’t wait to go back!

I LOVED this bar. Only downside is it's in a hotel () buuut the ambience and drinks make up for it. Service was pleasant and this passionfruit drink was divineeeee! I'm dreaming of going back soon! (Also a bit on the pricier end of things )

Perched atop Waymore's Hotel, Tall Tales has been providing excellent cocktail, light bites and phenomenal views for a few months now! The space is indoor/outdoor, with both having their own vibe. Indoor features a retro- feel with the curved and rounded bar, dim lighting and light colors. While outdoors has a rooftop garden oasis in the city vibe with lots of seating, some semi private, rope lights and as mentioned, amazing views of the city. Service is stellar as well. Ben, the Manager is friendly, knowledgeable and an all around solid dude! While you can order at the bar, their servers roam the rooms and can take care of you from your seat. Whether you are on a date night, have friends in town, celebrating something or just out for a cocktail, Tall Tale is a solid spot to be!

Such a beautiful rooftop! Tall Tales did not disappoint. I came here for a launch party and was amazed at this beautiful space. The bar immediately caught my eye, very vintage looking and the patio is filled with beautiful greenery creating a relaxed vibe. The boutique hotel below sets the tone from the minute you walk in. Management, the Bar tenders and every person I came across was extremely helpful and welcoming. I will be back soon for brunch because many people highly recommended it

We stopped by for a drink last night and were so impressed by this place! The space is beautiful and relaxing...so many comfy seating areas, soft lighting and a fabulous decked area with many conversation pits/booths and a few fire pits. The amazing thing was how friendly the hotel guests were- we are locals but had conversations with two sets of out of towners! The drinks were well prepared and decently priced. Most impressive of all was the live DJ playing a perfect soundtrack for our nightcap. Check it out
