Very nice collection of cars. All are Concours level original or restorations. The Bugatti 57 blew me away. Not many left in existence. Same with the outboard motor collection on the second floor. Was only planning to spend 2 hours here, but ended up spending nearly 5!

Google
Nice collection of cars with several limited production ones in the collection. There's a collection of farm equipment in the back along with a Divco milk truck and a 6 passenger short bus. Upstairs there are more cars, a small motorcycle collection, a NASCAR, mini race boats, and the Batman collection. Then it gets weird. There's outboard motors, model trains, calculators, cash registers, non playable arcade games, creepy dolls, grand pianos, tons of pocket knife displays, golf clubs, baseball memorabilia, football memorabilia, a washing machine, a telephone switchboard, and all kinds of "one man's treasure".

My husband is a complete gear-head and I swear he could be a tour guide for this museum 😂🥰 we spent an entire day here and he was absolutely ready to go again! 😂 Our daughter loved it too. She's the one who requested to go. There is sooooo much more than automobiles too! Sports memorabilia, antiques, dolls, race boats, boat engines, taxidermy, collectibles, and so much more! It must update/ change frequently too, because our daughter went a year or two ago and there was so much more and new things everywhere that she said they added in since her last trip here. You do get a wristband, so you can leave for lunch and come back if you want to. Definitely plan a full day for this place. Maybe more if you are a gear-head or married to one 😜

The Tallahassee Automobile Museum is a must-visit for anyone who loves vintage cars, history, and unique artefacts. As we wandered through the exhibits, I was captivated by the incredible collection of classic cars, each with its own story to tell. But what truly made our visit special were the eclectic archives and displays. From the dinosaur egg to the vampire kit (yes, you read that right!), every exhibit was a fascinating glimpse into a different world. The Elvis and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia were also a highlight, showcasing the iconic style and charm of these legendary figures. The vintage cars, of course, were a major draw. The attention to detail and care taken to restore these beauties to their former glory is impressive. Each vehicle is a testament to the craftsmanship and innovation of its time. If I have one suggestion for improvement, it would be the lighting. Some areas of the museum could benefit from brighter, more focused lighting to really showcase the exhibits. Despite this minor quibble, I'm so glad we visited the Tallahassee Automobile Museum. The sheer variety and quality of the exhibits make it a unique and engaging experience. Whether you're a car enthusiast, history buff, or just looking for something different, this museum is definitely worth a visit. I'll be recommending this place to friends and family, especially if you like movie cars like batman!

Google
What an amazing collection!! Certainly an obsession that got a hold... awesome vehicles, especially the Auburn .. top museum. So much to look at. A great 3 hours spent oohing and aaahing at what we would love to own !!!

Google
I recently visited the Tallahassee Automobile Museum at 6800 Mahan Dr, in Tallahassee, FL. This is a fantastic automobile museum on its own but also has collections of many other items such as cash registers, motorcycles, and even outboard boat motors which are all fantastic.

Google
I was excited but also unsure what to expect when we pulled into the parking lot—it looks like just another big building from the outside—but once inside, I was blown away. This place is packed with classic cars, from really early models (like late 1800s) to muscle cars, and even a few Batmobiles. What surprised me most, though, was all the other stuff—vintage cash registers, old typewriters, knives, pianos, even outboard motors. It’s like walking through someone’s massive, quirky collection of Americana. We spent about 1hr hour here and still didn’t see everything. If you’re even remotely interested in cars, history, or just cool old stuff, this is absolutely worth a visit. The staff was friendly and happy to answer questions, and the place was super clean and well organized. One of those hidden gems you wouldn’t expect in Tallahassee. They are dog friendly and offer military and senior citizen discounts. They do also have a small gift shop too!

Brianna Wright

Google
3/2025 I was more intrigued by the landscape around this building. The trees are huge & so beautiful. I did find interest in seeing the price change in vehicles. I thought a lot that was here was honestly junk & didn't think the admission price was reasonable. To see everything it took about a hour. It would’ve been nice to be able to get up close with the displayed movie cars.

Yelp
We ABSOLUTELY loved this place!!! So much to see Lots of parking Plenty of restrooms Staff is delightful In addition to automobiles lots of other collections too!! I took over a hundred pics Senior discount available

Yelp
This museum has a lot to offer ! Autos of all kinds , watches, knives , tools , phone, golf and even boat motors! I highly recommend stopping in and taking a tour! It will not disappoint!

Yelp
I'm not quite sure how this place has managed to stay so under the radar that even my car enthusiast husband had never heard of it. Our flight out of Destin was cancelled and I managed to get us a flight home the same day but out of Orlando. So we hopped in the rental car and started driving. We were in desperate need of a break and I searched for some stops along our route. This museum popped up and met all of our needs, it was just off the highway, air conditioned and perfect for a short-ish stop. Parking is free here and admission is very reasonable. The museum is two floors. Most of the vehicles are on the first floor but there are still a lot on the second floor. In addition to the vehicles there are so many other eclectic collections displayed here including dolls, pianos, boat motors, typewriters and so much more. This is for sure any car enthusiasts dream. The collection they have here is incredibly impressive. If you're just tagging along and not so into cars there is still so much more to see. My whole family enjoyed our visit. There really is something for everyone here.

Sandy G.

Yelp
Great place to visit! This is a quick stop Off the highway and a great place to stretch your legs. The collection here is beyond cars! Steinway pain is, golf clubs, dolls and of course cars. Really enjoyed all the different treasures!

Yelp
It's one of my favorite car museums because it's so much more than just an Awesome car museum. There's so many different interesting collections it's almost overwhelming. And there's so many cool cars I don't even know what to do with myself! Lol Sure, you could run through the two floor collection in about an hour or two but you could also spend days here. I usually feel like I've rushed through even after spending three or four hours. It's a big collection. It's a living collection too; I like to visit every few years, there's always new stuff. My favorites are the 53 Cadillac convertibles and the 54 Mercury Club Coupe. Better than the Ford Museum.
google avatar

Mark J.

Yelp
This place is sweet! Beautiful cars ranging from the very first ones ever created to 2022 corvettes. I brought my 2 yo and he was beside himself with all the cars. Kids get in free too! Admission is around $20, a little high, but ultimately worth it. There's also some cool sports memorabilia. Easily worth checking out if you get a free day.
google avatar

Kristen S.

Yelp
There is so much to look at in museum. You can spend a couple of hours in there. They have other items to look at also. Highly recommend this amazing museum!

Kerry K.

Yelp
Outstanding display of vintage vehicles, toys, dolls, boat motors and much more all in one spot. Well maintained and easy to look at. Friendly and helpful employees.

Yelp
Incredible experience finding this place just by driving by near closing as we passed thru Tallahassee on an RV road trip. They let us spend the night so we had more time to explore in the morning. This place is much more than just autos. Come see, you'll need a few hours so come early.
google avatar

Yelp
The last time I was this overwhelmed by great artworks - and autos from a century ago are great artworks - was in the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh https://www.yelp.com/biz/carnegie-museum-of-art-pittsburgh?hrid=7SxvFyuqOlIplB82oCya0Q. It's like there's just TOO MUCH here. There are too many amazing classic cars in too small a space that you really can't take the appropriate amount of time to appreciate them. And then, there's more. Original Steinway pianos, sports memorabilia, pistols and long guns and the largest collection of Case knives in the world. And upstairs, more cars, more collectibles and yes, a few Batmobiles. I'll bet that you didn't know that it was possible to collect outboard motors. But yes, there are some of the very first outboard boat motors on display here. 1931 Duesenburg Model I Dual Cown Phaeton. 1920 Case Touring Car. 1924 Packard Model 126. 1931 Ford Model A. 1901 Knox Model B. 1932 Ford Model 18. 1914 Ford Model T. The collection here is better even than in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-henry-ford-dearborn-2?hrid=DVVQoahBsz2-WU2l8L-sSA. I've been to a bunch of other car museums including the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky https://www.yelp.com/biz/national-corvette-museum-bowling-green?hrid=xR3fB7_2UjPdJIQTi9jcew, the BMW Museum in Munich Germany, https://www.yelp.com/biz/bmw-museum-m%C3%BCnchen?hrid=fvKbI5aeaoMmz3JbxIT5BA, the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, Tennessee https://www.yelp.com/biz/lane-motor-museum-nashville?hrid=GIagYiUi35SpkaF0NE5dyg, Autoworld in Brussels https://www.yelp.com/biz/autoworld-bruxelles?hrid=sUgy6SrvEjWoEF0l45nKFg and the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke https://www.yelp.com/biz/virginia-museum-of-transportation-roanoke-2. This place has them all beat. I could post a hundred pictures and it still wouldn't scratch the surface of the collection of great stuff here. If you're ever in Tallahassee. Heck, if you're even NEAR Tallahassee, this has to be a must visit. The only things they could do to possibly improve the place would be to add a wifi and to maybe offer more for sale in a gift shop. Postcards or prints of the rarest vehicles would be amazing. [Review 14070 overall, 1392 of 2020, number 1132 in Florida.]

Yelp
Yes, it is a great place with so much to see. You could spend a couple hours in here if you want to look at everything very thoroughly. I liked how they have signs to describe the different items. It was well organized in that sense

Yelp
Awesome display of cars, motorcycles, toys, registers, knives, Native American artifacts, and more. I have been to this museum quite a few times since they have the Tucker automobile. I would highly recommend this museum.
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
4 stars for a very eclectic museum. There is a quirky collection of dolls, cash registers, sports memorabilia, boat props, etc. I found it to be a little bit random for a car museum, but okay, it works. They have a little over 150 cars on display. I don't know much about cars. But, I can tell you that their classic cars are beauties. Entry fee is $15, which I thought was a little high because it was a small museum. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful. I'll probably would visit again.
google avatar

Robert K.

Yelp
A great stop anytime. Especially if it turns to rain. Excellent collections to see, more than just cars

Yelp
This museum is much more than an automobile museum. There is such a wide variety of historic and valuable pieces that I don't even know where to begin! Classic cars, pianos, sports memorabilia, dolls, etc., are all on display for your enjoyment. There's so much history in this place! Not to mention, Batman & Robin are chillen on the second floor next to the batmobile! If you haven't visited the Tallahassee Automobile Museum yet, make sure to add it to your to-do list. If you take your time walking around and admiring all the museum has to offer, it will take you about an hour or possibly even more. There's so much opportunity for photographers or social media influencers to take "instagrammable" pics as well. By the way, they do have a Facebook account and an Instagram account (@tallyautomuseum). They also hold several community events, including high school proms, because they offer event venues for rent. The entrance fee is well worth it, and there is plenty of parking for vehicles, trucks, and rvs. For more information, check out the website www.tacm.com

Yelp
Highly recommend this place, it's so much MORE than a car museum, there are collections of cars, pianos, old farm equipment, a milk truck, knives, golf clubs, Bat Mobiles, guns, dolls, jukeboxes, etc.....definitely worth the stop and plan on spending hours here!!!

Shelby B.

Yelp
Pictures don't do it justice! Our family had a great time this morning! Neat collections!

J L.

Yelp
If you are stopping in Tallahassee and just appreciate eclectic and cool old things, you definitely should swing by this collection. Our family loved the cars and all the neat vintage memorabilia. Also they have Batman vehicles which was pretty cool. Our 4 year old had an amazing time. You could easily spend a few hours if you truly take the time to admire everything. Even if you don't want to spend a lot of time you can quickly see everything and move on. We walked away enjoying this a better more than we originally expected.

Yelp
There was so much to see here, we passed the Batmobile and Elvis's car before coming inside. Admission was $15 a person and we appear to be the only ones here. They open at eight in the morning until five. It was more than antique cars that went back to the 1800s with Lincoln's hearse and a map of the 12 Day Rd. trip it took through the north. Pristine cars in immaculate condition providing a lot of information including the parking lot base price, horsepower, engine size and miles per gallon. Two floors packed with a lot more than cars, we saw collectibles, guns, pocket knives, patches, sports photos, golf clubs, toys, fans, figurines, typewriters, motorcycles dolls, toy cars, boats, old arrowheads, boat motors, radios, military uniforms, trading cards, coins, fishing poles & lures, sewing machines, toy wagon's.... Over 100,000 ft.² of collectibles with banquet rooms inside to house many. Just an incredible amount of the amassed stuff Well labeled and put into every nook and corner. The only negative is we couldn't touch or sit in some of the fabulous vehicles. A Wow!!!

Yelp
A weekend, trip to Tallahassee. One of the main reasons I chose Tallahassee was for the car museum. Just check out there website they really do have one of everything. I was told while there that sometime they let people who can play piano play some of the amazing pianos at the museum! I wish I could play something other than chop sticks. They cars where kept very clean polished and maintained. Even though I went for the cars I spent way more time lost in other odds and ends around the museum. Great place go check it out and see all the treasures! Parking is free entry fee is not bad.
google avatar

Alexa R.

Yelp
Really strange. Had cool cars but sketchy and weird other stuff. Very expensive too. I wouldn't go back but if you really like old cars it might be worth it.

Suzanne T.

Yelp
Great great place to go to have a venue I went to what women want. I thought it was pretty cool. The prices were kinda high for the vendors for the area. You would think we were living in Miami for the prices that they were allowed to charge other than that the idea of what they were doing was spot on
google avatar

Margaret F.

Yelp
This is one of Top Ten Places to visit in Tallahassee! My company enjoyed visiting here during their rainy weekend visit. The attendant was super nice. They have many collections in addition to the amazing autos. They also have banquet facilities available for rental.RECOMMENDED

Yelp
I have been to several automobile museums and this is one of the best! It has so much to offer in a well lit, clean museum! There are wonderful cars, including a 1948 Tucker as well as a stunt car used in the movie "Tucker, A Man and his Dream". There are two early 2000's Ford GTs. A Delorean, a n 1894 Duryea, and other beautiful automobiles spanning over 120 years! There are pianos, a large doll collection, golf and baseball memorabilia, antique cameras, typewriters, phones, cash registers and brass fans! There are boats and a huge selection of antique boat motors. President Abraham Lincoln's hearse carriage. There is a Batmobile display, motorcycles models and a knife collection that is the largest I have ever seen! You can spend a couple of hours or all day, so much to see! Well worth a visit!
google avatar

Yelp
The Tallahassee Automobile Museum exceeded our expectations on every level. The only reason I'm not dropping them five stars is there were some political views expressed that probably didn't need to be put out so prominently, or could have just been toned down a bit. Otherwise the content in the museum was fantastic and astoundingly diverse. If you're into cars, knives, old radios, out-board motors, and many other old collectibles of all types this place is a must-stop.
google avatar

Yelp
Looking for a unique date idea - It's all about the Batmobiles - every dude wants to be Batman. This place is so hidden there are plenty of locals that have never set foot inside. Surprise your special man by taking him here. It's a like an adult toy store that's rated G. Extremely rare collections of vehicles and boats. This palace also hosts many banquets, weddings, and local events. Just recently they hosted Luke Bryan. Field was filled with people in jeans and cowboys boots enjoying great music under the open. Crossed it so many times - took over ## years before I finally stopped inside.
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
Wow! I give 'em a five. Actually, on a scale of one to five, this place is about a seven. If you like old cars, or collect anything, take about an hour and walk thru here. It's comfortable inside. Bring your friend or family. Adult admission is $13.50.
google avatar

Alicia R.

Yelp
This museum has all kinds of great antiques and memorabilia along with tons of cars. Nice indoor activity. That being said, I was really surprised at the lack of air conditioning. It was quite warm and in some areas where the fans were it was hot. That made me rush around. All together nice spot with interesting items.
google avatar

Sarah-Grace H.

Yelp
My husband and dad went while my parents were in town. It was their favorite thing they did while in town! They give military discounts and multivisitor discounts too! In downtown so a great option while you are down there

Kathlene P.

Yelp
amazing!!! you have to see this collection!! employees were very informative and very nice, we loved it
google avatar

J. R.

Yelp
It's jam packed with all kinds of cars but they also have other collections like pianos, typewriters, etc. I wish there was more room as it feels like a crammed in garage sale but at the same time there's something interesting about having vastly different types of cars together. The service is kind of... okay - they were a little blah about having someone there but maybe they were having an off day. I highly recommend it though and I don't even like cars. It was just a really neat place to see!
google avatar

Francesco C.

Yelp
I never seen so many collectibles cars! These cars bring back memories! I love the 3 Bat-mobiles and the Bat-cycle and Bat boat! Many motorcycles and other collectibles on display! It was a great museum to visit. Must check the President Abe Lincoln's Hearse on display!
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
Honestly if you like to collect anything, anything, come here. The name is automobile museum but they've got everything under the sun. You name it. It's probably the biggest collection of outboard motors that I've ever seen. And Barbie dolls, teddy bears, model cars, knives and gold clubs. It's not a big place but this place is jam packed with stuff! And of course they have really nice old antique cars, lots of them and beautiful ones too. If you are in the area definitely worth a visit. I spent two hours here just amazed by how much stuff they have packed in this building, definitely got my $15 worth.

Diane M.

Yelp
Fascinating collection of everything from fishing lures to grand pianos. Very knowledgeable staff.

Tyler P.

Yelp
I saw they were advertising an administrative/office position. I went in dressed in a tie and jacket and I filled out an application. The next day or so, the manager/owner called me and wanted to speak with me in person. He made it seem urgent, so I left my house right away, i didnt even have time to iron or put on a suit. I just put on a hoodie and sneakers. So when I arrived we went into one of his offices, he looked at my application and was thinking to himself. Then he said "I may have a maintenance position open." I was upset when i heard that. Mind you, I have a bachelors degree, 4 years of administrative work experience and a current graduate student. I even put that on my application. But the man sat there and offered me a maintenance job even though I applied for administrative. I felt like he was being a bit prejudiced because why else would you offer me a maintenance position knowing I applied for an office position? Ill admit Im black and i came ina hoodie which was my bad but cmon man Im educated and thats the best you can do? I felt so direspected, especially when he took a phone call during our meeting and told the person on the phone that he had time to talk. Thats just rude and unprofessional. I like the automobile musuem but i hate not being considered for the posiiton I had applied for. Either the guy is prejudiced or they were just false advertising a position

Yelp
This is a hidden gem for Tallahassee. It should be called the "Antique Car and All Kinds of Other Stuff Museum". It has a wide diversity of collections- dolls, pianos, knives, marine, golf, FSU, office equipment, toys, etc, etc. Oh yeah and lots of cars. They have some very rare autos, Tucker, Delorean, Caddy's, Duesenburg, .... Everything is neatly organized, clean, labeled and interesting. I even got Mrs Eva to go with me on my second visit and she was impressed and enjoyed the place as well. I would highly recommend it.

Renee H.

Yelp
Top notch! Money well spent!, it's not just cars,,they have antique boat motors, cameras, type writers, telephones, golf clubs, engines, knives, pianos, guns, arrow heads, an authentic Indian canoe, a couple of small boats, bat mobiles, etc. everything thing is neat as a pin. Bathrooms are immaculate! Highly recommended
google avatar

Yelp
Tallahassee Automobile is so much more than a car museum. There is a plethora of antique cars to newer models. They have collections from golf balls, knives, law enforcement patches to dolls, baseball memorabilia, and batman. One can easily make this a half day trip; there is something for everyone. There also is a fam to table restaurant across the street called Backwoods Crossing. Both places are right off exit 209A on interstate 10 in Tallahassee. The admission is under $18.00 per person. They have senior and multi person discounts. It is a great place for large groups and plenty of room for buses. Restrooms are on both floors with water fountains.
google avatar

Frances J.

Yelp
This place was amazing I really enjoyed myself. I took so many pictures of the cars and my husband and children really enjoyed it as well. I will attend this place again they said they we're opening up new exhibits. I can not wait!
google avatar

Rhonda H.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! Quite an eclectic collection, with educational and well thought-out exhibits. Automobiles, pianos, guns, artwork, and FSU memorabilia - everyone can find something of interest in this museum. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice Collection of antique cars, guns, knives, toys and other fun stuff! We stayed recently right on the grounds with our RV. The Antique Car Museum is a member of Harvest Host. Harvest Host is a network of businesses of interest to travelers, that allow a free overnight stay in an RV. Of course you are encouraged to patronize the business in exchange. The museum was a nice way to spend the afternoon and the grounds are beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality!

J.J. D.

Yelp
We throughly enjoyed our visit to the Tallahassee Automobile and Collectables Museum (tacm.com). It's a wide-ranging and interesting collection of fine automobiles and more! Just be sure to allow plenty of time to enjoy the collection!

Yelp
I'm rating this because somebody has to. The car museum is awesome. I lived here for about two months before I had exhausted everything else in this town and the car museum was the only place left. So I went. I had originally thought it was some sort of hokey roadside attraction like they show on CBS sunday morning every once in a while. You know, like some midewestern watermelon festival or the world's biggest doughnut or some crap like that. It's not like that at all. They've got a lot of beautiful cars in pristine conditions and the coolest ones are the esoteric ones that you wouldn't even think about. They've got a Tucker, the world's first differential drive car (1890's), an aqua car and tons of others. Stuff from the turn of the century on up to present day. It's a great way to blow an afternoon and it's also a good place to take someone visiting from out of town because it might just be worth the trip even if you didn't know anybody who lived here. I haven't been in about a year, but they just moved into some new digs out on Tennessee by the Interstate. I think it's pretty huge and should be awesome since the old one was really cramped.
google avatar

Kelsey-Layne K.

Yelp
For what you pay, its not what i expected... I figured we would be able to see more inside the cars and learn more about them. I pretty much paid $30 for us to walk around a room and look at the front end of a car. The place was filled with more knives and other things of no interest than it was cars. Ive seen more cars at a show and been able to learn and see the car for what it actually is, for free. Will not be returning or recommending this place to any one.
google avatar

Karen B.

Yelp
We REALLY enjoyed this museum! There is plenty to see even for the non-car crazy. Very nice collection and great people running it. Stop by and you won't be disappointed!

Jim D.

Yelp
This place is killer!!! The 131 cars on the bottom floor are awesome. Shined, restored, in mint condition. That's if you like cars - you can find everything from turn of the century, (that's 1900 for youngsters) to 2000. As good as that is, you "ain't seen nothin yet!" On the second floor you've got 15,000 sq. ft. of space filled with the most eclectiv collection you've ever see. I'm talking original Batman cars, to whole rooms about trains, sections on teddy bears and the other 10,000 feet is about STUFF. You can find anything and everything. Plan to spend at least 3 hours. And that's not enough!! Have fun, Jim

Jeff S.

Yelp
Looking at the size of the building, I expected a lot more inside. It seems though that the building has two sides so only the front has the museum. Was disappointed with the amount of cars inside especially after the fee to get in, expected more I guess. To me there are still plenty off 1994 caddy's and 2015 camaro's still on the road to see today. Was wanting to see a lot more antiques. Would not recommend for the price.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Stopped by this museum by chance and so glad we did! This museum sells itself short by just being called an automobile museum, there is so much more to see! Huge collection of cars, knives, dolls, bears, boats, pianos, Lincoln's hearse, Batman cars. Very very cool museum, will definitely be visiting again if we are ever in Tallahassee again. Highly recommend to anyone in the area

He S.

Yelp
I only went to the car museum because my daughter had a school project and needed to visit. This was at the old location in a strip mall. I was expecting to be disappointed, but was pleasantly surprized. There were way more cars than I though you could fit in such a small location, and I was amazed by the quality and variety. There were two large rooms, one with cars and one with a large variety of items. There were so many different things that everyone found something they liked. I haven't been to the new location, but it looks much more spacious.
