I dined at Taller Arzuaga recently and became nauseous during the meal after being served an herbal drink prepared with dry ice. The staff were aware at the time. I contacted the restaurant afterwards. They confirmed dry ice was used but no guidance had been given to wait before drinking. When I followed up to express my concern and ask how this would be addressed, I received no response. For a Michelin-recognised restaurant, the lack of communication and guest care was extremely disappointing.

When we arrived, they thought we did not have a reservation, and the attitude of the lady who opened the door was really bad and borderline not polite. Then after they realized we do have a reservation, their attitude changed, nevertheless, this alone will make me give the restaurant a lower rating. The food and service were good, some plates were better than the others. They play with textures and Peruvian flavors fusion, otherwise the flavors are basic. There were mistakes in the presentation and in some plates that I don’t expect to see in a this type of restaurant. Overall, an ok experience but I would not come back nor recommend to friends. There is no lack of good restaurants in Spain and there are other many places with good food to try!

A bit disappointing experience overall: “basic” menu for an Michelin star restaurant with standard dishes like rice and another with heavy mistakes (e.g ceviche was super salty). Also, the cooking was slow even having few level of occupation and we waited a lot between dishes. In a nutshell, the food was good but definitively is not a good value for money restaurant.

Amazing . Everything is on top . We are delighted to visit the el taller . I will suggest to all my friend they go in Spain to visit the winery and the restaurant . Even the wine list was amazing . You can find also romane conti 🩷

Spectacular experience at the core of Ribera del Duero. I highly recommend topping one of your evenings, while in the region, with this amazing explosion of refine and balanced tastes! A MUST DO while in the region!

We tried the full menu including wine and paid 155 euros per person. The price is to high for the quality. The wine served with the food is normal and they are not generous serving the wine, specially with the good ones. The view of the restaurant is the main road so is not pretty. They charge you the water aside and the coffee. They are not generous and would not recommend it nor repeat it.

Made a reservation with the hotel upon check in, when checking in we were told we didn’t have a reservation and there was nothing they could do and told us the hotel always books at the wrong restaurant, which indeed was the case, the restaurant they booked us at was the hotel bar that has at least 20 open tables throughout the night so not sure why. Anyways this seems like a place that favors the local crowd and not tourists as they seem much more accommodating and helpful for locals.
