Had dinner at Tầm Vị and overall it was a pleasant experience.
The braised pork was flavorful and the fat was nicely soft and rich. However, the lean meat itself was a bit too firm—would be much better if it were more tender. That said, it’s still very suitable to eat with rice and feels like proper home-style Vietnamese food.
The vegetable dish was lovely. I really enjoyed the crunch, especially paired with pork skin—it added a nice texture and balance.
The spring rolls were just okay, nothing special. The dipping sauce was quite light, so the overall flavor felt a bit flat compared to the other dishes.
On the plus side, pricing is reasonable for the quality and setting. The ambience is very cozy and homey, like eating in a traditional Vietnamese house. Total spend was around 580,000 VND for the meal.
Overall, a comfortable place for classic Vietnamese dishes—worth visiting, especially for the atmosphere and pork dishes, just keep expectations realistic.
