Walked in not knowing it was a vegan restaurant and wow it was great. The food was delicious and better than many meat vietnamese dishes I've had elsewhere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great value for money and large portions.

BEST vegan place in town ever. I highly recommend it! Even something as simple as a bowl of brown rice is cooked to perfection. Everything is properly seasoned, healthy, and freshly prepared. Yes, it's a little slower than your regular Vietnamese restaurant, but it's worth the wait.

TAMARIND IS DEFINITELY ONE MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANTS! Me and my parents come here like almost every week for 3 and a half years, we love it here! I’ve been vegetarian for 5 years, and my parents aren’t. But we all love the food here! I’d definitely recommend it to others! :)

An amazing vegan restaurant. I highly recommend it! My friend and I got the vegan pad Thai and a vermicelli bowl. Everything is properly seasoned, healthy, and freshly prepared. The pad Thai was amazing, it was very flavourful. Yes, it's a little slower than your regular Vietnamese restaurant, but it's worth the wait.

Best vegan/vegetarian vermicelli I've ever had! Loved this place since being recommended there 2020 by a friend saying it was a great meal to take and eat in the park. This pic is what she sent me and I was sold because she's a certified foodie! I've not lived in Calgary since 2021 but it will be my first and last stop the next time in there. I recommend it to anyone going to Calgary and one time had someone drive it to me in Edmonton and it was still good! I usually ordered it to go but the one time I dined in it was a delight 🙌🏿 11/10 recommend! If you order delivery call them directly instead of the apps, very good service

It's a hidden gem! 100% VEGAN. No MSG! This is my favourite Vegan restaurant! House special Pho is the best! They have a meditation space offering Buddhas in the middle of the dinning room, which makes the atmosphere so calm, relax and peaceful!

We were visiting Calgary, taking in a concert and based upon ratings and reviews, randomly chose the Tamarind. It was my first fully plant based restaurant since going vegan 5 years ago. It did not disappoint! What a great experience. From the comforting atmosphere, great menu variety, to the friendly staff. The hardest part was deciding what to order. I wanted to try one of everything. Opted on the tofu curry, sizzling bbq tofu with sticky rice, house special noodle bowl, paradise rolls, and deep-fried wontons, which apparently the band member from the concert we attended @Avatarmetal.com also enjoyed the night before! Lol I can't wait to go back next time we are visiting the city!

Tamarind makes delicious vegan Vietnamese dishes like pho and vermicelli. They make their tofu in house daily and their food is delicious! I highly recommend their pad Thai. Today, they were giving out free lunch boxes that consisted of papaya salad, fried rice, salt and pepper tofu, bean curd and eggplant, along with a pumpkin tofu soup. Everything was delicious and I would highly recommend! They also can accomodate gluten free options as well 🙂.
