TAMBO Cocina & Cocktails - Miami Beach

I had a wonderful experience at Tambo tonight, definitely a place I’ll be going back to! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy and beautifully designed, making it the perfect setting for my birthday celebration with friends. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. It’s clear that quality ingredients and attention to detail are a priority here. The service was excellent, and I want to give a special thanks to Thomas for making the evening even more enjoyable. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our group. Overall, I couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, a warm ambiance, and top-notch service, this is it! Highly recommend!

Great food and chill vibes! We had an awesome time at TAMBO. The food was super flavorful — the crab cake and steak were definitely our favorites. Cocktails were fun and really well made too. The place has a cool, laid-back vibe and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Perfect spot for a relaxed night out in Miami Beach. We’ll definitely go back!

I really enjoyed my dining experience here. Besides the happy hour being offered every day, their food was made from the freshest ingredients. The only the reason I gave 4 stars because I felt like the food did take quite some time to come out. Everything tasted amazing. Sitting outside was beautiful during a great day and I would recommend everybody to come in, keep here, one of the best Miami Beach restaurants on Collins.

His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was incredibly good—everything we had was amazing, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Additionally, the manager Christian was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for exceptional food and top-notch service. Tambo exceeded all my expectations! From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable service, every detail was perfect. The menu offers a delightful variety of dishes, each bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the tuna watermelon salad - it was absolutely delicious! The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back for another amazing meal. Truly a gem!

I was here visiting for work and needed a quick, healthy and hearty breakfast. Susan was excellent— so kind and attentive. She recommended the hash browns, which were incredible. I will be back tomorrow for another great start to the day.

Our server Thomas and the manager Christian were an absolute delight! They were so knowledgeable about the cuisine and their recommendations were superb! Tambo is the perfect place for a date, girls night or group gathering. The drinks are divine! So unique and absolutely delicious. Whatever you order, ask for a side of chimichurri-to die for. 10/10 dinning experience. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing birthday dinner for my mom here!!! The staff were so friendly and helpful with our orders. The restaurant is very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. We each had the dragon colada and enjoyed it with our meal. We started off with a combination of hot and cold starters. We ordered the Tambo ceviche which is in a mango and slightly spicy avocado sauce. It is delicious and comes with malanga chips. We also had the lavender glazed Chicharron over yuca puree. That was very good and crispy skin but flavorful pork and lavender is very mild. Also the yuca puree was so good I could have that with every dish. The starters are definitely large enough to share with multiple people. For our main dishes we each ordered something different. My mom had the criolla corvina and that sauce was delicious and fish was perfect. My brother had the cacopo de veal (breaded veal stuffed with Serrano ham and mushrooms) he loved it and the portion was large of enough to share. I ordered the home made corn and ravioli which was tasty with a nice kick I think it was the black pepper. Some entree are larger than others but I think it depends on what you order. But you with filled and satisfied no matter the portion. We also had the basque raspberry cheesecake for dessert and it was the perfect end to our not too sweet but the an excellent dessert. I noticed other reviews commented on it being quiet as far as people and it is. I really hope that turns around for them and more people learn about them because the food and service is excellent. Plus they have good music, drinks and food. I will definitely come back and recommend them to anyone in the area.

Hands down must visit and eat at spot in Miami Florida it's not just the drinks but the FOOD i mean the appetizing tacos to their Branzino and Veal, the flavors and care of cuisine is flawless!! Highly enjoyed their dessert shown as well, as a diabetic more on the savory side to me. Such a greag place that you dont conver so much in carbs. The view is amazing so tou can seat inside and outside, a lot of great space for all types of parties, events or get togethers, even weekly dinner!! Of course, Thomas gave outstanding service as well so ask for his section!!

This is a fairly new spot at the Gates Hotel on Miami Beach. It was a little empty, but when people realize how great it is I'm sure it'll pick up! The ambiance was nice, the service was stellar, and the food!! You must get the straciatella. You can share small plates as they have several hot and cold starters, but they also have some great pasta, fish, and steak entrees.

This place right on border of 5 star review, however, giving 4 stars simply due to being out of menu items on both of visits. The food is stellar though. Ceviche especially tasty. Portions small for pricing but seemingly in line with much of south beach. Craft cocktails best I had in miami on this go around. Drinks feature good quality liquor and are collectively nuanced, well curated and balanced. Their happy hour is from 6-8 pm where ceviche 15 bucks and handful of cocktails 10 dollars, wine glasses 8 dollars. Underrated (based on limited number of reviews here) food/drinks here as well as ambiance. Great view of the canal water and Collins ave with overhead string lighting. Recommend if in south beach more for snacks, drinks to pregame but also solid dinner spot.

As soon as you walk in, it is a vibe. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. As soon as I tried the food and drinks I knew I had to come back! There is a variety of specialty cocktails that satisfy all different tastes. The food portions were generous and absolutely delicious! I tried a variety of appetizers. Two of my favorites were: 1. The steak tartare w. Arepas was a 10/10 2. The ceviche with mango chunks was refreshing AND I love that it was paired with large yuca chips My entree was a show stopper! It was a tender soft meat (in like a Demi glaze sauce) with a sweet plantain puree . The service was also great and the wait staff was very attentive. I can't wait to come back!

Whatever the chef is doing here...keep doing it. Some of the most creative dishes I've seen & this spot is still a total hidden gem! All of the food was excellent, cocktails were fun and atmosphere is beautiful. Our server had good recs as well

This place is absolutely incredible, I can't emphasize that enough! Everything was mouthwatering, from the drinks to the food I mean everything. I couldn't get enough of the appetizers and luckily I was able to try several entrées and everything was five star quality or higher. It is also located in a beautiful location and has the best ambience. I loved every dish I was fortunate enough to try and can't wait until the next time I visit. The service and staff was top-tier as well and made extremely helpful recommendations and were so kind and enhanced my experience.
