Always a fan of trying new places. Especially places that have Philly Cheesesteak subs! Once I went in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure I got everything right with my order and once it came out, I wasn’t disappointed! They made the Philly cheesesteak fresh on the spot with all fresh ingredients. I personally ordered their Garlic Steak sub which happens to be what they’re known for and it was superb! I definitely recommend this establishment. Food, staff and atmosphere were great and they were wheel chair friendly.

I have been coming here since they opened and I absolutely love this place! Every visit is a consistently amazing experience. The subs are always fresh, made to order and are always perfect. The bread is soft and the fillings are always generous. The steak sub with Jalapeno Sauce on the side never disappoints. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It’s my go-to place whenever I’m craving a delicious sandwich. I highly recommend <3 you won’t be disappointed!

Heading here for lunch is a regular for us. We first discovered this place when we took our kids in the area and we have stopped! The food is always fresh and tasty. We are obsessed with their curly fries with queso! So good can’t skip it. We typically get subs here but I’ve had their wraps and equally delicious. A huge bonus is them having amazing customer service! Everyone there is always so sweet and friendly and Vanessa is incredible! Truly a hidden gem everyone needs to check out for lunch.

This is by far, the most amazing sub shop in the United States. Philadelphians should actually tremble in fear because their garlic steak? Better than any steak Philly rocky ever ate. Besides the amazing quality in the food and consistency, their staff has astronomical customer service. Remembering my orders while having more than 1 go to and specific toppings? They got that. Always clean I could eat off the floors, bathrooms are always extremely clean as well. Highly recommend, a FLORIDA STAPLE.

Hopefully this will reach someone that will address my issue. This place for the most part is great. The staff is warm and sweet, very attentive. The atmosphere is great. The food is great and seems very fresh. So what exactly is my issue. I'll admit, some of you will think it's an odd thing thing to complain about, but I feel like its a legitimate complaint if you're a sub enthusiast like me. I ordered a double meat Italian. And I have to be honest I was floored when I picked up my sub and felt the weight of it. I honestly couldn't wait to dig into it. When I got home however I made a discovery that instantly turned me off. The Italian here is made with ham, salami and bologna. If you look at my picture, I've made a clear separation between the bologna and salami and the ham. There is a slice of bologna, a slice of salami and the rest is pure ham. I get that's it's weird to complain about getting so much of a thing but, the issue is that its not actually double meat at this point nor does this even taste like an Italian with so much ham. Yes, its technically double meat, but buyer beware the double meat has a fine print.

Great options for hot and cold subs for lunch! Ordered for take out the Italian cold sub. My only issue is they could've added a little more of the veggies, but definitely a great portion of the meats..

Tried this sub shop near Tamiami airport the other day for the first time. Walked through the door and was met with a pleasant, genuine greeting. The most pleasant young lady, after learning it was our first time, was patient with us. The subs are delicious and generous to say the least. This is a nice, clean, pleasant, local sub shop. We have found our new favorite sub shop! Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

I have been coming here for years. This location is right across from Tamiami airport. I ordered the chicken buffalo and my husband got the garlic steak. This place has curly fries which is my preferred fry shape lol. The subs are always fresh and they have great flavor. All the toppings were fresh and add a nice balance to the sandwich.

Yum! Been coming here for a while and never disappoints. I do recommend getting the mid-range level of meat, not the lowest. Their mozzarella sticks are also bomb! Happy they're in the neighborhood and will continue to come here.

Service is good depending on who is working the counter. This spot is absolute fire. My fiancé is from Philly and they take their cheesesteaks very seriously but let me tell you about their garlic cheesesteak. Absolutely amazing. Added topping to my liking. I ended up back there two more times before the end of the week and ordered the same exact this. If ever in the area I highly recommend you give them a try.

Such a great little place. Fantastic hospitality and the freshly made Subs are great tasting and value. I had the Chicken Sub with plenty of items added to make it tastier along with a drink and a bag of chips and it was worth the wait. Which was longer than your average place. But again the Chicken Sub was definitely fresh.

I order from here all the time, and the subs are absolutely spectacular! This is my go-to spot whenever I'm stuck at home. I usually pick up the order but it would be great if they used DoorDash or Uber Eats. It's always a great experience. You really can't go wrong--they have a fantastic variety to choose from. I highly recommend!!!

So far their Phillystake sub is the best . Is the kind of sandwich you will have to get 2 because you don't want it to finish. Good thing they have the double size.

I know this is a sub shop but I had originally came here to try their colada after my boss raved about it and told me it's the best he's ever had. I popped in ordered my colada and of course I also had to try a garlic steak it is the home of the garlic steak after all. The garlic steak was so good, perfect meat to bread ratio and so flavorful but the star of the show was definitely the colada. So creamy almost chocolatey!? Nothing like I've ever had I started passing it around to my co workers so they could try it and they to were in awe. 10/10, I work at Spanish Marie the brewery across from tamiami subs and this sub shop has definitely become my pre shift stop!

Just had lunch here for the first time ever w my grandma and Vanessa made us feel like we were @ home. Had a chicken wrap which was 9.6 and my grandma had a steak sandwich she said it was a 10, don't walk, but run here. Soooooo good !!! Thanks Vanessa ! We will be back.

Just grabbed take out from Tamiami Subs, which now opens until 7:00. I'm upping my stars to five, because the taste of the subs are great, curly fries fresh and service always fast. The staff that work there are always nice and our orders are always accurate. It's great for take out or eating in, because the place is always clean and organized. It's also right by my house making it a plus, and there's lots of new construction going on nearby, so hopefully the area will get even busier. Great place to pick up some fresh subs. We recommend the Garlic Steak!

First time stopping by this tucked away gem of sub shop, and I'm not sure how it's such a secret. The menu is simple, but not lacking any imagination. I wish I could have tasted a little bit of everything. I went with a basil pesto chicken salad, topped with tomatoes, black olives, and Parmesan cheese. The pesto is homemade and all I can say is, Holy Pesto! It was packed with flavor, and the color was beautifully vibrant.

Definitely not the best. Had the famous garlic steak sub as well as the turkey sub. Sub par, not a lot of flavor, and it was really hard in general to get an even bite of everything at once due to all the veggies being chopped so finely. I either got straight turkey or lettuce and tomatoes :( . Not so sure I'd return due to prices being high and quality not being the greatest. Also, the garlic steak?? Literally just tasted like a burger. For garlic to be in the name I was expecting some flavor but nope.

Everything about this sub shop is incredible, fresh and always delicious! Thank you for always being the best lunch stop in town. Also she supports police , fire , military , and nurses. Go check them out !!

This is my first visit to this quaint little spot. . My youngest son & his girlfriend highly recommended & invited me to lunch. They ordered PhillyCheesesteak subs with the cheese & onions , I got the highly popular Steak with Garlic sauce (Philly w/ garlic sauce) requested no cheese & said yes! To the onions. I must say I'm so glad they brought me here where ate in the car & enjoyed these delicious subs. Great quality meat, mine w/ that garlic sauce was a big "wow" , will definitely return.

I've been coming here since they first opened their doors in 2009. They have always provided fresh, quality ingredients and customer service is one of a kind. My sub orders have always been executed with accuracy. I highly recommend Tamiami Subs. Vanessa, the owner is the driving force behind this dynamic operation and she does an amazing job at it too. She is welcoming and professional, and she even remembers her customers. The same goes for her staff: they provide fast and friendly service. Although a small business, it is evident to me that company culture is pretty important to this business woman. What I've had and found to be yummy: ~ Chicken Teriyaki with Provolone & Grilled Mushrooms, whole sub $8.89 ~ Chicken Philly, whole sub - $8.89 ~ Chicken Caesar Salad or in a Wrap - $8.89 ~ Honey Mustard Chicken, whole sub - $8.89 ~ Grilled Turkey with Provolone Cheese, whole sub - $9.19 I have yet to try their Veggie Overdose sub, but when I do I'll be sure to update my review. Things to know: ~ Make sure to get your rewards card stamped. After your 10th stamp, you get a free stub. On Wednesdays, you get double stamps. ~ They are First Responders friendly, which is nice given the kind of world we live in today. It's a blessing. ~ They too have lives outside of the sub shop, so they are closed on Sundays. The only negative is that you cannot order online directly from their website :-/

I just recently moved to the Hammocks area when I noticed Tamiami Subs. This place is great! I ordered the honey mustard chicken wrap and it was awesome. Perfectly grilled chicken and the condiments/sauces were deeeelicious. The service and staff were great also. I will definitely be coming back here and I would recommend Tamiami Subs.

I thought hungry bear was the best sub shop in Miami well boy was I in for a surprise to find this little gem! The steak is marinated in their own house garlic sauce and cooked to perfection with onions and mushrooms! The flavor is absolutely amazing and had my mouth savoring every bite! I can promise you that I will be back! The staff is AMAZING and super courteous!

I found this hidden gem just 2 weeks ago, and I've already been here 4 times. Today I came with my wife, and she had the chicken Caesar wrap with curly fries. She said the wrap was amazing. I had the chicken and bacon teriyaki . This is the best chicken teriyaki sub I've ever had, and that is my go to sandwich at sub shops like this. The teriyaki sauce they use is one of the things that stands it apart from the rest . I also had the curly fries on the side, and I agreed with my wife that they were the perfect compliment. Very crispy just the way we like them. The food was served pretty fast, and the employees were friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area in the mood for a sub or wrap.

Today I passed by this incredible place, the best hamburger in the area and the attention of the girl was amazing. I recommend this place 100%.

I'm usually skeptical of places that people rave about since in my experience the reality rarely lives up to the hype. Luckily when I tried it for the first time, it was easy to see how and why Tamiami Subs has earned such a stellar reputation both on yelp and via word of mouth. I'm a sucker for great food and service to match, especially because it seems to be such a rare combination these days. Most of the places that I frequent have either one or the other but it is a true gem when I find a place like Tamiami Subs that offers the best of both worlds. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was on point. The owner and her employees all greeted us with a smile and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even expressed them. My best friend and I told them that we were going to wait for a friend before ordering and they immediately offered us drinks while we waited and paper menus to consider our selections. Once we were ready to order, the process was quick and efficient. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch with crispy chicken and an order of curly fries with cheese on the side. My best friend ordered the same sub and my cousin ordered their signature sub, garlic steak. The owner personally took our orders and wrote our names correctly on the wrappers so there was no confusion as to which belonged to whom. I definitely appreciated that she spelled my name correctly since most often use a C where the K should be so the owner's attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now to the best part: the food. My crispy chicken bacon ranch was delicious. I am not a big chicken fan but ordered this on the advice of my best friend and it did not disappoint. It had a little kick but not too much, the bacon was super crispy, and all of the flavors came together beautifully. The fries were seasoned well and along with the cheese dip was very tasty. I managed to nab a bite of my cousin's garlic steak sub before she gobbled it all down and it was party in your mouth kind of good. I got a small sub and it was more than enough for me as I was just the right kind of full when I left but they also over 2 larger sizes for those with heftier appetites. The location is somewhat inconvenient for me since I don't live or work too close to the area but based on my first experience, I have no doubt that I will be back and probably soon. Keep in mind that they close at 5 and do not open at all on Sundays but if you are in the area during business hours, this is definitely a stop you won't regret.

Very good food and fresh. Food is always ready when I come pickup. Inside seating is always busy too, but I like to eat mine at home. Employees are always friendly and courteous.

I love going to Tamiami subs. I used to go there at least once a week. It is a great alternate to subway and he subs are made fresh right in front of you. The staff is very nice and the food is always good. The restaurant is small. There are 3 booths a about 5 chairs inside. Most people come in and pick up their food. It is always busy. There specialty is the garlic steak wrap so what better to order than that. The half size with seasoned fries is enough for one person depending on how hungry you are. They also have wraps and salads. I have tried the chicken and steak philly and they are good also but I'll stick with the garlic steak. Make sure you don't go Sunday's as they are closed. If you're in a rush you can also call ahead of time so that your order will be ready when you get there. Pricing is very reasonable. I always like to support local restaurants and I'll keep coming back to Tamiami subs.

If you are in the mood for a sub and in Kendall this is a great spot. Come hungry! The negative I found was that it's small and we waited to sit but given that it actually has seating inside it's a plus for a sub shop! For starters you must try their curly fries with cheese sauce! And indulge in the fountain drinks and cookies the have Otis S which are my absolute fav! You came to a sub shop today just indulge! Nothing is healthy! They do offer a variety of salads and wraps if you want to lessen the calories but there were at least 3 other items like the bacon chicken ranch sub that I am going to try. The place is great very friendly the sub felt fresh. The bread was soft the ingredients well proportioned and most important for me no taste of grease or felt too heavy. Overall I don't love the idea of eating subs frequently cause let's be honest I would have to run a marathon to burn the calories but if you want to indulge and have a fantastic Sub this def the spot! Another plus get the garlic sauce if your not sure do it on the side like we did you won't regret it it's not to garlic it's more like a light tasty dressing! Perfect topping!!!

I'll keep this review short as there isn't much to say about Sub Shops. As sub shops go, this is one of my favorites. The place is kept clean, the staff is always pleasant, & they are pretty quick with orders. The menu has your typical sub shop offerings, the prices are fair, & and they have a hassle free reward program for frequent customers that uses stamp cards. The only real downside I have to say is the amount of seating available. When this place gets busy it can be tough to find an empty spot to sit down. Overall, good food, friendly service, fair prices & clean. Give it a try.

Best Sub shop in west Kendall hands down! I generally go for their hot subs and have had many of them. The garlic steak and cheese steak are my go to and they never disappoint! Love the bread they use, it's always fresh, and I really love that they offer curly fries. Who doesn't want curly fries with their sub?! And of course, great service, they are always very nice and happy to help. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this spot for years. However, I was there recently and the guy cooking at the grill was not wearing gloves and was tossing the vegetables into the grill with his bare hands. NOT very hygienic. I believe by FDA and other licensing protocols they must wear gloves when handling food. Management please check your cameras!

One of my favorite spots for lunch time. There subs are to die for especially the garlic steak pleaseeeee try it I promise you will thank me later. Now i will say that you must also have it with there white bread instead of the wheat it makes a difference and if your already being a big girl or big guy then you must go all the way lol! I have also tried there salads that are also good but nothing beats the subs you can have a full sub or half. You can also have it with a combo that includes curly fries and soft drink. The prices are around $6 to $10 depending if it's a combo or size of your sandwich. You can order online or can just walk in but it gets packed at times especially if its a day that they offer a free soda or double points. Ohh before i forget please get your card that they stamp everytime you are there your 10th sub is free.

What a great place for lunch and subs period. The menu gets creative with the favorites menu naming and the flavor of every sub I've tried (only tried 2 so far...give me time) has been outstanding. The curly fries alone will leave you hooked. This place is so close to my job and friend Beatriz L insisted we had to go check it out and whoa we were both so happy with our subs. Their famous for their garlic sub so I had to try that. I don't know what their seasoning secret is besides the garlic but the meat alone is so flavorful. I tried to behave and order the half a sub (we ordered the fries and cheese which was more than enough) but after I swallowed not chewed the sub I wish I would've been a true fatties and ordered the damn foot long. I really appreciate food that doesn't need anything added to it. When I ordered I only put veggies,cheese,mustard, and lite mayo on it and I'm glad I did because it didn't need any additional seasonings or oils but to each his own. The next day happened to be national sandwich day so we decided the sane thing to do was to go back and try something else. On this visit I had the New Yorker, my gosh it's the pastrami sub and I was delighted, 5 stars for both visits so far. If you enjoy subs and like friendly service, definitely stop by and try whatever is on the menu,you'll be glad you did. Also,you can't call in orders but you can place an order online and on Wednesdays all subs come with a free soft drink. These people ain't o please and so far I'm all smiles!

We found ourselves at Tamiami Subs on a Saturday after a sweltering trip to the zoo. I was looking for restaurants nearby and came across a review by my friend and knew I needed to look no further! We ordered a large garlic steak sandwich with grilled onions and curly fries. The service was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to suggestions. The flavor of the garlic steak sandwich is indescribable. It is one of the best subs I have ever had. The marriage of the steak, sauce, bread, and onions was pure flawlessness. In addition, because I was splitting the sub, I ordered only half with onions. I appreciated the fact that they took it upon themselves to label which side had the onions. Little details like this make the experience so much more memorable. The curly fries were fresh, piping hot and cooked perfectly. I cannot wait until my next trip to try out more of their subs.

My Daughter and I have been coming here since she's been a baby! I can't believe it's taken this long for me to post a review, my apologies. By far, this is one of the best sub places in the area, if not Miami itself! The staff always treats you well, and the food has been consistent for years. Consistently GOOD! We haven't had a bad sub, fries, drink, anything....ever. To say that about any restaurant in Miami, is virtually impossible. Thank you guys for being there, and all your hard work. If we can't decide what we're having for dinner, you're always there for us! Keep up the great work..

Ordered delivery from UberEats and everything arrived nice and hot and quick. The bacon cheese fries were great, but the Chicken Philly was a little disappointing. Seeing as I've ordered from here before I was quite surprised to see that they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh. The taste and texture really threw me. And as you can probably tell from the picture there really wasn't much chicken in my sub. I have other subs there that don't have mushrooms and they all have been great. This spot is definitely one you want to go to for great subs!

Excellent subs! Its hidden in a shopping plaza with mainly warehouses behind the airport. Very informal, clean and just delicious. Favorite sub is the country fried chicken, ask for extra honey mustard, sometimes they can get skippy on the sauce. Also, if you like the philly cheesesteak, its good but a little dry so make sure you add some mayo to the bread! Definitely recommend this spot for casually eating or take out!

I come here all the time!! If your looking for a cheat day meal then look no further than Tamiami subs! You can't really go wrong choosing anything from their menu, the subs are prepared fresh and with a side of curly fries it really goes a a long way. I never had any problem ordering from here or any issues with the food. With friendly staff and quality service, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cheat day meal.

A Philly steak sub is just known to be overflowing with meat and the one I ordered from them was very lacking. It seemed like 2 slices of steakums and that's it. It didn't even seem like steak. The staff was nice, the place was clean but was super disappointed with the sub. Hoping that this turns around because it a nice, clean shop, in a convenient spot.

A very unassuming sub shop with fresh delicious old fashioned style submarine sandwich choices. Cozy and clean dining area with simple decor. Friendly staff and great tasting subs. The cafe con leche we ordered after our meal was absolutely amazing and comparable to Starbucks minus the fancy cup or psychology of a cafe experience. I may not drive all the way over to eat there but whenever I'm in the area looking for grub, Tamiami Subs will be one of my go to places.
