Parking pricey, and visited the Howe exhibition for lotr and it was ok, but way overpriced, framing was very glossy, too packed full of art. Then when you asked for water it is not allowed because they have some money making idea behind the centre. If you really love lotr and are into art then maybe try. Also the history link to Kalevala Finnish art was only seen in 1 artwork, which is a copy and not real. Overall for the money and what was displayed and the overall experience it was lacking. Also they sting you 2eu if you don’t buy in advance another money making trick as you can’t buy online for the same day morning any anyway, when you are going to see art you want to have a tactile experience, that’s the reason you are going? Hypocrisy at its best.

This place usually has many events that you can visit especially when you are a citizen in Tampere. If I am not wrong you could find the orchestra event and attend to hear good classical music. For, I visit here to see many exhibitions especially related to kid's activities where they have a dinosaur park and VR exhibition and in this place, you could visit the Moomin museum. The place you will not regret.

A beautiful facility with the largest hall in Finland that has amazing acoustics and comfortable seating. Staff was efficient and cordial and went to great lengths to fix my ticketing situation.

I've attended Tampere talo for music concerts and exhibitions in the past. Last Saturday it was my first conference there (Maestro room). It was a really pleasant day topped by an exceptional food from the in-house restaurant. Thumbs up!

Went to see Swan Lake, and everything worked out fantastically. The only criticism is that the staff don't know how parking apps work on their own parking lots, so be careful not to be charged extra.

The home of the new moomintroll museum a large temple all moomintroll fans must go to at some point in their lives. You can even take a photo with muumipapa or muumimama in the boats outside the entrance. Well stocked gift shop although as you would expect you will pay a premium vs the local shops but if you want to buy book in non finish language it's one of few places that sell them.

Visited mummy museum. Would recommend to take audioguide other way not so much information is given. Btw, photos are not allowed.

Went to Unofficial Galaxies exhibition, the building is really good looking outside and in. The building is at perfect spot, near city center but still has enough land to not feel cramped up, the architecture around Tampere-talo is also very beautiful. Staff was great and pleasant, everything worked and went smooth. Really smooth experience overall, will visit again.
