Tampu is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to experience exceptional Peruvian cuisine in Madrid. Every dish I tried was amazing and unique, full of bold flavors and creativity. Even something as simple as plain rice had an incredible taste and aroma, showing the attention to detail in every element of the meal. Two standout dishes for me were the shrimp dish, which was perfectly balanced and full of flavor, and the chocolate dessert, which was simply divine. Every bite was a delight! I highly recommend taking the tasting menu—it’s the best way to experience the depth and variety of flavors that Tampu offers. Whether you’re a fan of Peruvian food or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing great value degustation menu with matching drinks. We loved the ceviche and scallop courses in particular. Highly recommend if you’re in Madrid looking for Michelin dining!

Fantastic Food, Room for Improvement in Service The culinary experience was outstanding—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. However, we encountered a minor inconvenience regarding handbag storage. As a group of four women, we found it challenging to find a suitable place for our handbags, as the chairs lacked hooks or designated spaces. We requested to be moved to a table with sofas, which provided a more comfortable dining experience. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to consider offering solutions for guests with personal items, such as providing special bag chairs or adding hooks to the tables. And storage for coats as well. This small enhancement could significantly improve the overall dining experience. Despite this, the exceptional quality of the food makes me eager to return and explore more of the menu.

There were no authentic Peruvian flavors here. We liked the experimentation and fusion. However, we found the results to mostly be disappointing. The ceviche and the lucuma ice cream with chocolate were the high points. Even though the "classic" ceviche they served was green and with cilantro, which is not classic at all. The botija olive sauce seemed bad and contaminated, but maybe it was made with burnt salt. The ají de gallina didn't have shredded chicken and the sauce was not the right flavor. The raspberry sorbet was also excellent. The tiradito was strange. The red tuna was amazing. The sauce and other flavors used didn't add to it.

Nice Peruvian restaurant in Madrid. We went for their dégustation menu with wine pairing (65+30 euros). This was wow! Great discovery of Peruvian dishes with sea food (sea bass, mussel, scallops) and pork. The ratio quality price is very high! The ceviche was the highlight and a big coup de cœur of this menu in seven rounds.

Our best dinner in Madrid, delicious Peruvian meals (especially the ceviche and selvasia), good selection of reasonably priced wines, lovely service. I would recommend Tampu to everyone.

I moved to Madrid last November and my temporary apartment was next to Tampu. I've been to this restaurant 12 times so far...it is my favorite one in Madrid. The gentleman name Lino who receives you at the door is the nicest person and in this last visit I had the pleasure to meet the chef Miguel that apart from being very talented is also lovely! Congratulations Tampu!

This restaurant js wonderful with very smiling staff and amazing aromatic food. All ceviche da worth trying, each one unique in its own way, for instance ceviche verto norteño surprises with its coriander flavour and corvina a lo macho whit its rich seafood. When it comes to main courses, cuello de cerdero melts in your mouth and pachamanca de picantón kills with its richness in different spices. Thank you Tamil for your warm hospitality, and see you next time!

Yelp
I'm writing the review months after going so I can't remember everything we got-- ceviche on lower left is all I remember. However I do remember this being the BEST restaurant of our whole trip and highly recommend going. Everything from drinks, entrees to desserts were phenomenal!

Yelp
Tasting Menu - Marvelous!! Had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant this evening. Excellent service and marvelous food. This is a foodies dream and a restaurant that provides the best of Peruvian cuisine with a touch of asian accents. The maitre d was especially gracious as we missed our reservation the previous night and allowed us to dine here today! He did an excellent job describing each dish in english too! The presentation was very creative and beautiful to the eye. I would recommend visiting this restaurant - if you're in Madrid well worth eating here.

Yelp
I was walking by and saw the sign Michelin guide 1 star. I said to myself, let's cancel the resevation at la primera ( amazing restaurant ) and lets try Peruvian Food in Madrid. Forst of all, I reserved a specific table and the restaurant gave me a different one, a table with underlight bubbles that were driving everyone crazy. The service was slow, very slow, 1 waiter could not handle all the tables in the area at once. The wine selection could not be worst. Absolutely the worst wines I have tested in Madrid. When the food started to arrive, I could not believe that a place would serve such terrible plates. I did not return plates or left the restaurant because we were in a group of 9 people and tonight is our last night in Madrid on this trip, otherwise, I would not have hesitated. Absolutely a terrible restaurant. Do not waste your time. Nothing to think about, will never be back.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I have never had authentic Peruvian food before but my friend who lived there for a summer thought that this restaurant was fantastic. They have some classic dishes but also some fusion, more modern dishes so there is a nice combination. We stated by sharing the ceviche, which was absolutely amazing and the yuca fries. I had the tuna belly. It was so flavorful and tasty and it was plated beautifully. Had an amazing experience here and would definitly recommend.

Yelp
I am of Peruvian descent and also living in Madrid. I wanted to show my boyfriend the culinary culture of Peru. He actually found Tampu first from reviews online and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely exquisite in taste and impressive in display. The products are specially imported from Peru (super hard to find here in Spain) and not to mention the service was also great! We enjoyed the attention we received and above all, the food!! Staff gives great advice on what to order. This restaurant does a beautiful blend of Peru's traditional roots along with its Asian fusion in cuisine, which is how most of our food is made. Counting a full menu for 2 , a bottle of wine, and 2 desserts to try, you should count around 60€ which is totally reasonable for a special and authentic gastonomic experience!
