Made a stop here for the first time after hearing about it from family friends. They have many tropical fruit options here that you don't normally see in grocery stores. The fruit isn't cheap but it's good. Plus if you want a taste of the tropics in the Portland area this is a good place to stop by.
One thing I really like about this store is that If you purchase fruit and open it. If it's rotten or bad, you can get a refund or get another one for free. Just take a picture or bring it back to them. However, for all the fruits I got, they were fresh and delicious!
Some fruits I got were cherimoya (custard apple), red dragonfruit, rambutan, langsat (bon bon), wax apple and durian.
Typically with durian, you get at the stores in the US, they are either frozen and/or thawed previously. However, the durians they sell here are fresh from Thailand. A whole durian from here is expensive ($88). However, the people here will help you pick a nice durian and can open it for you to take home. You can taste the difference in the freshness of the durian vs one that has been frozen previously.
Overall, if you like fruits and want to try new ones this is a great place to stop by.
