So worth it! We got the grand omakase experience. Each dish was fresh and carefully prepared.

Loved everything about my experience here. Affordable yet delicious omakase. The fish was all super tender and fresh, and the entire staff was attentive and friendly.

Amazing and affordable omakase and individual sushi rolls. You can order nigiri or rolls a la carte without the omakase as well. Beautiful location and interior and great staff! Highly recommend.

Food was so yummy and just enough to make us full. If you’re looking for a new omakase in the Austin area to try, you should definitely come here!

I’m not sure why this place is not packed but it’s a gem. Super fresh fish. I’m just back from Tokyo and this place transports me back. Prices are reasonable. We had the light Omakase and some sides. Delicious. 😋 .

Lunch omakase was super simple but very tasty and light in a way that felt so satisfying. Beautiful interior, restaurant is still getting started at this location but will definitely be back

Affordable omakase with differing price points! Came here with a co worker for late lunch and the place was empty but that didn’t lower the quality of service! Fresh fish and beautiful decor

They market themselves as an affordable omakase, and it really is. The service is great - attentive throughout, and the establishment feels clean, organized, and well run. The food, however, wasn’t very memorable. The fish was fresh but the cuts felt a bit thin. The lobster roll was the standout for me

My experience at Tancho- Grove was great! It's a dimly lit spot that seems excellent for a date night. The food came out quickly and each item was explained to us. This is an omakase restaurant with a few a la carte options. They're very reasonably priced for it being omakase- the standard menu is about $41 and the lighter menu is $31. Drinks were reasonably priced as well. Drink options are limited to beer, wine and sake. I opted for the standard menu and enjoyed each option that was brought out. I wish I had been hungrier so that I may have tried more options. I will definitely be back!

New omakase concept, just opened in the Grove development. We arrived on the 3rd day of operation. Ambience is quiet and approachable. Staff were very friendly, professional, and enthusiastic. We ordered the signature omakase. Great value for the price. Every bite was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the nigiri. Decent sake and beer selection. Wine selection should be expanded to include a few more white wine or sparkling wine options. Overall, Tancho has a lot of promise. We will be back.

Quality sushi omakase at a great price. You can also add on A la carte if you are still hungry. Ambiance is also really nice. Only downside is they don't have some of the more specialty pieces like uni or ankimo but pretty solid otherwise
