Google
WOW! I was visiting Fayetteville and found this wonderful Indian restaurant! Everything from the service, ambience, and food was 5/5. I asked for recommendations and the server recommended the chili paneer appetizer and Kadhai chicken. So much flavor and absolutely delicious. The garlic naan was perfect. I have visited many Indian restaurants and Tandoori Bites is one of the best. I recommend eating here!

Melissa J.

Google
I love this place and we try to go regularly. The food is delicious every single time. The staff are all delightful and attentive; service is always great. The atmosphere is really nice and I really enjoy the music ambience. This is definitely one of my favorite places in town. Pictured are coconut chicken and gulab jamun.

Google
Oh, my goodness! Literally the best Indian food we've ever had! We chose Lassi for our drinks! So cold, smooth, creamy, and fruity! We had the samosas for our appetizer, they were delicious! Our main courses were next level good! Perfection on a plate. We chose mild for all our spiciness, very minimal spice. The workers are very nice and check on you regularly.

Dawanna B.

Google
I love this place !! But the garlic naan when you take it to go it’s so burnt and chewy! I love the garlic naan in the restaurant, but the butter chicken is sooo goood , but pls stop serving people burnt garlic naan, it’s such a waste of money 😭

Gail F.

Google
The food was delicious, full of flavor and appealing to the eye. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Samosa,Tandoori Bites Special Biryani, and Garlic Nann. Service was great. Price was not bad for the amount of food. I certainly will return and try other items on the menu

Google
I’ve come to realize there are no good Indian places in Fayetteville. I ordered Tandoori bites for the first time today. I got Chicken Tikki Masala, Naan, and samosas. $38. Naan was cold and rubbery if that makes sense, rice was undercooked, chicken Tikki masala was ok. If you want the best Indian food go to Raleigh to Bazil. They are the absolute BEST! Y’all really need to do better with the amount of money we are paying for your food. I will not be back.

Google
Rahul, Zulma and Reena were exceptional host, courteous, friendly, and full of energy, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with the Peshawari Naan and Dal Tadka standing out as must-tries. To top it off, the Gajar Halwa in dessert was simply outstanding. A fantastic experience overall, highly recommended!

Google
We we're sat down by an older lady with henna on her hands, and not given menus, we were given a glass of water with no ice. After 10 minutes I asked for menus, which the younger girl gave us. After another 10 minutes we asked if we could order drinks, I asked for a gin and tonic with 2 limes. I was given gin in a glass, no ice with 2 lemons and a can of tonic. I then made my own drink. The 2 parties seated after us were then asked for their orders. We finally ordered our meal. The whole process was 2 hours, we arrived at 6pm and left at 8. My meal was $80 and I left a $15 tip. Your food is fantastic and the ambiance is fantastic for celebration (our anniversary). But the service needs improvement. This is not the first time this has happened, I came for my 51st birthday and it was the same. But I thought it was a 1 off, so I left it alone because everyone has bad days, but this is the 2nd time this has happened.

Hello C.

Yelp
Friendly service, efficient and clean facility. The naan this time wasn't as fluffy but everything else was delicious.

Cole E.

Yelp
Overpriced, they will jib you on the chicken in your tikka masala, only got like two small pieces and the rest was filler vegetables and tofu. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Indian food is known for its rich spices, intense flavors, and varied ingredients--but for some people (especially those unaccustomed to it), it can occasionally lead to digestive issues like diarrhea. Here's some practical advice on how to enjoy Indian cuisine while minimizing the risk: Why Indian Food Can Cause Diarrhea: 1. Spices & Chilies: Ingredients like chili powder, black pepper, and garam masala can irritate sensitive stomachs. 2. Oils & Ghee: Some dishes are quite rich or oily, which may cause loose stools if your digestive system isn't used to them. 3. Dairy (e.g., paneer, yogurt, cream): If you're lactose intolerant, Indian dairy-heavy dishes like butter chicken or paneer masala can be a problem. 4. Street Food Hygiene: In some places (especially in parts of India), street food can pose a hygiene risk, leading to traveler's diarrhea from contaminated water or food. Tips to Avoid Diarrhea While Enjoying Indian Food: 1. Start Mild * Try milder dishes like dal (lentils), butter chicken, chicken korma, or aloo gobi. * Avoid dishes marked "spicy" or loaded with green chilies if you're sensitive.

Yelp
Fellow Yelp reviewers weren't wrong. We did a quick stop over in Fayetteville and found this gem of a place. Great food and quick service. We had the veggie and lamb samosas for an app, followed by Butter Chicken and Lamb curry dishes, complimented by a Bread Basket. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we pass through NC!

Yelp
This was a pick up order. The restaurant appeared to be upscale and in a really great area. Friendly staff at the front desk. They did inform me that they do not offer buffet ):, but do you have some kind of lunch special for $20. We got butter chicken with rice and naan. The butter chicken had a lot better flavor than Bombay bistro in town (was disgusting and uneditable). Got the butter chicken spicy hot. That was my mistake! They definitely brought the heat. The color was throwing me off as it appeared very red. I'm curious if they add food dye for better presentation or something. Also the amount of rice is very small compared to most Indian Cuisines I've been to. I'll update this review once I return on another occasion. I'll be trying medium heat to see if it's better.

Yelp
So delicious! Very elegant! Looks like a great place to go for date night! I went back the next day!
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Really good food enjoyed the atmosphere and servers were nice, mango lassi needs to be a little bigger in serving size because it's so good
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
I thought they still had a lunch buffet. I did have a lunch tray with a lamb dish that was very good. It also included plenty of naan and a rice pudding that was delicious. The restaurant is attractively decorated and quite.

Yelp
The food, aesthetic, and just the overall atmosphere is top tier. This is my favorite spot in town, I love to eat, delicious food especially. I recommend the garlic naan! Also the Chicken Tikka Masala

Yelp
Food was very good and staff were attentive. Reasonably priced and good amount of food. Not the best ambience but it was good food.

Logan B.

Yelp
The food is always great every time, both when dining in and when I order takeout. I admit the prices seem a tad higher than some other places but I still consider it a good deal for the quality. Nice dine in experience with good customer service.

Jared T.

Yelp
Tandoori bites hits the mark for tasty Indian food in the Fayetteville area. The goat masala, lamb jalfrezi, and chicken korma are all delicious! Don't forget to order a side or two of garlic naan! It is a little on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in the area, but you are paying for fresh ingredients with an authentic Indian flavor! Worth going again and again!
google avatar

Dawn D.

Yelp
So I ordered the tiki marsala chicken easy spice. Well needless to say I couldn't eat it because it was way too spicy. Ordered the garlic naan, which was all Grace horrible I will never order again from here nor will I ever visit this establishment. The entire meal was a waste considering I am from out of town do not I repeat. Do not order to go from here.

Yelp
We'd scoped out dinner spots for Fayetteville on Yelp, knowing that we'd be hungry after travel. After landing and getting our vehicle, we headed straight to TB. It's located in a shopping center along with a movie theater, fitness center and military recruiting offices. While it was Easter Sunday, the parking lot was nearly full. Inside, the decor was modern, chic and classy. We were greeted and immediately seated in a booth. We ordered veggie somosas, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and naan. The somosas were 2 per order, served with a tamarind-like sauce. They were tasty on their own, with a kick of spice. The rest of the dishes were fragrant and just as tasty, served family style in sizable portions. We fully enjoyed the meal! Glad we were able to enjoy a comforting meal even though we traveled on Easter Sunday.

Kristy T.

Yelp
We went to Tandoori Bites for lunch today while visiting Fayetteville. Beautifully designed space - it felt high end but comfortable as well. We were seated immediately and our server took great care of us. Great variety of options to choose from We chose the chicken curry mild and coconut chicken medium - both had amazing flavor! Look forward to returning whenever we are in the area!

Yelp
I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering Butter Chicken with medium spice from this place, and I have to say, it was a total letdown. The spice level on the dish was unbearable--it wasn't just mildly spicy, it was so so spicy , I understand that spice preferences vary, but the "medium" level was way off the charts compared to what you'd expect. The customer service made the situation worse. The woman who I spoke about my order was indifferent and cold when I explained that we had traveled 10 hours ,we have kids to feed , she just said come and collect a new order at 9:45 pm . I mentioned that we would be 22 minutes to reach the restaurant for a change of curry but she simply shrugged and said nothing could be done as the restaurant will be closed. The other man I spoke to said that I should have mentioned it was for kids so they would have suggested not to order (but even for me and my husband we still have our lips burning , felt like chilli powder was just mixed in it )but he didn't offer any help or solutions, only mentioning that they would have made it differently if they'd known. At no point did they offer any kind of refund or compensation. Instead, they suggested I come back tomorrow, despite making it clear that I wasn't a local and had just driven hours to get there. To make matters worse, their website clearly lists spice levels ranging from mild to very spicy, but there was no mention of the extreme variance in spice levels within the "medium" category. This kind of miscommunication is disappointing and frustrating, especially when you've already spent so much time and energy on the order. In the end, we felt completely disregarded, and the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths--literally and figuratively. Unless they fix their spice level descriptions and take customer concerns seriously, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
I'd give this place a million stars if I could. My boyfriend and I went to this spot on a whim after some shopping, and let me just say it did not disappoint. The food was hot when it came out and the seasonings for both of our meals were on point! It was our first time at this place and the service was wonderful. We definitely will be back!

mircale h.

Yelp
First of all I'd like to say the setting in the establishment is very nice and fancy I felt underdressed when I walked in - I ordered the butter chicken which was very good the chicken was hot the soup was good and the rice was great I personally give it a 9/10 - the service was pretty good too they left me to myself and came and check up on me to see if I needed anything! I'd say this is a great experience!

Joe C.

Yelp
Completely Awesome!! I have always been a vindaloo or similar dish dude. However, i recently tried briyani so its now a mission to try briyani at every Indian restaurant. Needless to say, this was incredible!! Great flavors, server and staff happy to accommodate! Excellent service. Nice environment to eat in, peaceful. Will return again!!

Yelp
Haven't had Indian food in a while and this really refreshed my palette. The food comes pretty quick. They give big proportions. The staff were kind and were able to meet my accommodations. The place looks pretty fancy. It is ideal for a fancy date night. There is loud music, so convos won't be too awkward...

Nathan L.

Yelp
Fantastic Indian food! The atmosphere was very nice and felt upscale, yet comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. I ordered the Biryani Special. It came out hot and tasted very fresh. The presentation was beautifully done. The Biryani was absolutely delicious! There isn't a single thing I would change about the flavor. It was seasoned to perfection! I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend Tandoori Bites to others. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
This was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back! We were able to get seated right away and the staff was super friendly and really attentive. This place is nice for date nights or wanting to catch up with friends. The food was super delicious! They have a lot of options~ We decided to go with the lamb curry and got the garlic nan and chilli nan. I can't wait to come back to try the different curries on their menu!

Yelp
Went on a Saturday evening. The restaurant wasn't crowded but took about 10 mins to be seated, another 10 mins before getting water, then another 10 mins for them to take our order. We ordered the mango pineapple shrimp to start. Really good! For entrees we ordered the chicken tikka masala (medium spice) and the butter chicken (mild spice). Both were great! The spices were exactly where they needed to be, flavor was great. My only complaint is that they are slow. Ty he food took a while to come out but atleast I know it was fresh and came out smoking hot. Definitely recommended and will be back.

Linda W.

Yelp
The food and service was very good. I am addicted to tandoori chicken so I'm biased towards that. It had the best char that is part of what makes it addictive for me. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures and I don't remember everything ordered. The saag paneer was good. Servings ala cart are generous. My father had one of the lunch option's and he was happy with it. The lunch menu really takes care of everything including dessert if you order from it. The tea masala was very good. The thing here as with elsewhere are the prices. The only thing that disappointed me was being charged $4 for the tea and then being charged again for a refill. I moved from a more competitive area where there were 4 Indian restaurants within 5 miles of me and I never had to pay for the refill. So while the food is good and I rated this 5 stars - the cost in total will factor into my return.

Safa A.

Yelp
The staff was rude... We literally felt like we were not the type of guests that they wanted. Then just leave a sign outside saying that what kinda races you guys want as guests in your restaurant. I say that because they were all good with the other tables but us. They didn't even ask us if we want a dessert. Okay, we won't visit you guys again, sorry!!!!!!!!!!

P D.

Yelp
Best Indian restraunt in the area. Amazing food. Loved the service and enjoyed from start to finish.
google avatar

Valerie L.

Yelp
The carry out order was prepared fast. Butter chicken was good. The butter naan was just ok. The portion size of butter naan served compared to cost wasn't a good value in my opinion.

Barbara R.

Yelp
The Food is Good, the Service not so much. Takes forever to get a Soda, asked by 2 different people what I wanted to Drink. My tip reflected my disappointment
google avatar

Cynthia S.

Yelp
Chicken Masala and the Chicken Curry were wonderful! Full of flavor and so delicious Let's not leave out the garlic Nam bread. Perfect to dip into your sauces. Our waiter (Vanch) was a nice guy, quick with our orders! No complaints about the Moscow mules- perfectly balanced!! . The little table lamps(adjustable light) were great to set your own ambiance. Making it quite cozy. We will be back many more times... no doubt.

Yelp
I love this restaurant, the food is amazing. my favorite dishes are, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb curry, lamb rogan josh, mutton curry and the rasmali is my favorite dessert, I give this restaurant a 10/10
google avatar

Melanie N.

Yelp
Delicious Indian food. My daughter and I shared samosas, chicken tikka masala and gulab jamun. SO good. Plenty leftover to bring home too!
google avatar

Sanjay G.

Yelp
This spot saved us. It is very reliable and good quality indian food at a reasonable price. The ordering via google doesn't work - we ordered for delviery and the company that services deliveries said they couldn't come to Doubletree Hilton 20 minutes away so they cancelled. But directly on the website did work and we had to go pick it up. Enjoyed the veggie biryani, palak paneer, and samosa aloo chaat is good too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for indian or vegeterian food options which are otherwise rather limited in Fayetteville
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
[Coronavirus review] Open for dine-in when I dropped by, but I was in for takeout. They had their own online ordering, and they called me immediately after to make sure I was ordering for Fayetteville; given that they have other locations in different cities this seemed wise. I sampled lentils, okra, and a spinach-infused bread. I was satisfied by the complexity of flavors and found curry leaves in my dal, but I checked boxes for a high level of spiciness and neither of them was as hot as I'd hoped. I also saw the option to order a samosa and a tikki (fried potato patty) together in chaat form covered in chickpeas. I was all about that, and both were delicious and fried. They seem to be able to do standard North Indian dishes well enough, but I'd like to see if they can knock my socks off and up the spice level.

Connor C.

Yelp
The restaurant has a very nice looking interior that was also very clean. I'm not personally a big fan of Indian food but I still found it very enjoyable. Servers were prompt, kind, and made sure me and my girlfriend got our food.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
Had the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan, reita, mango chutney and the lamb samosa and BAYYYYY BAYYYYYYY! The flavors were on point! It could have been a smidge hotter but still 5 stars across the board!!!

Mary S.

Yelp
Service was very good. We got seated and the staff was very pleasant. However, the food was substandard. Very salty. I could not taste the spices and flavors over the saltiness of the dish. It's a shame. I really enjoy Indian food for this reason. The naan bread was more like a big hard piece of cracker, not like bread at all. I have been to several Indian restaurants in town and this one is not it.
google avatar

Téa C.

Yelp
This was the best butter chicken I've ever had. It came out like 5 minutes after I ordered it too. This place deserves more business!
google avatar

Khiyah S.

Yelp
Oh where do I start. I came here for lunch with my mother and the food was amazing!!!!! The butter chicken was soooo tasty. Just trust me and see for yourself.

Destiny D.

Yelp
Only wanted to serve us take out even though they didn't close for another 40min. Owner was so rude and unprofessiona. Just close at 2 if that's the case.

Harsha H.

Yelp
Food was really good and service is also very good. Very clean. Recommend to visit for good Indian food.

rebekah ..

Yelp
I love this place and is my go to for Indian in the area. Any time I'm in town I always try to come for a meal, or order food to go. Each time I've eaten there the service has been great! I will continue going back. Thank you tandoori bites for delicious food and great service!
google avatar

Chandra J.

Yelp
Been passing Tandoori for a while now as I get my hair and eyebrows done practically next door. Asked my hair dresser about them and she replied that it is a great place to try if you like Indian food, which I replied that I do. So, I decided to order their meethi chicken with medium spice with butter Naan. I got it to go, so I headed home to soak up all the deliciousness. The meethi chicken was okay, but the spice was definitely not medium, so I ended up adding some extra spice when I got home. The butter Naan was okay as well, definitely needed more butter and a splash of garlic. For the total price of $18 I was expecting a little bit more in quality and quantity. I may come back and try something different, but the jury is still out.

Crystal M.

Yelp
Inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The service was just okay. We had to wait quite some time for the waitress to take our order. There were only 3 other tables occupied so it's not like they were busy. The food came out very quick. The veggie sampler appetizer was great. The butter chicken was my favorite! We got another dish which was a grilled type chicken with a cashew marinade if I recall correctly. There was no sauce on the chicken and the chicken was very dry. It's hard to eat dry chicken and rice when there is no sauce. That unfortunately went in the trash. I'd definitely go back to try other dishes similar to the butter chicken.

Yelp
This is my go to Indian food destination in Fayetteville, NC. I'm absolutely certain it's the only Indian food destination, which I'm fine with, because they're absolutely phenomenal. I've eaten in the restaurant several times and I've ordered delivery, via GrubHub several times, and I've been absolutely pleased every time. Authentic Indian Cuisine. 5 Stars, Every Time! Thank You!

Abby S.

Yelp
This is one of mine and my husband's favorite restaurants. The food is absolutely delicious! The wait staff is extremely kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Definitely a 10/10!

Yelp
Este es un lugar maravilloso, te hacen sentir en familia. La muchacha que siempre me atiende es una ternura y muy profesional, Beatrice siempre con una personalidad estupenda y un servicio excelente. Muchas gracias!!!

Ali M.

Yelp
Easily one of my favorite Indian spot, food is always hot and extremely flavorful. The portions and authenticity is well worth the price. The workers are respectful and quick. I'll never go to any other Indian Cuisine in the area!
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
Great food with lots of gluten free options. Service is always friendly. I ordered food from the wrong restaurant one time and they called the location to move my order for me. Then they quickly prepared our dinner. I was very impressed

Yelp
After trying this place for the 1st time I've been back twice just for the vegetarian pakora. Like hush puppies but made with veggies and served with what I'd describe as Indian bbq sauce. Tried the vegetarian samosas but they were too spicy for me. I'm a baby when it comes to spice. Heat aside the filling was good and breading was light. This was my first time eating authentic nan not from the Walmart bakery. Amazing how good fresh bread can be. Not sure if olive oil or butter was used but it was delicious either way. The lamb dish was described to me as delicious but on the heavy side.
