The food is just delish. Always a fan of Indian curry♥️ Service is alright. Nothing fancy, But love that one of the chefs came out and asked us if everything’s good.

Let me start by saying that I usually do not eat Indian food because it's too spicy for me. I tried Tandoori Eats for the first time today and my only regret is that I hadn't tried it sooner. The service is excellent - the people are so nice here. The restaurant has nice seating and is well kept. The food...some of the best Indian food I've ever had! The chicken tikki masala is a must with a side of garlic naan. The butter chicken is also amazingly delicious. The best part - you pick your spice level! I also tried the mango lassi drink ...yummmmm!

Google
The food at this place is absolutely amazing and a true delicacy. I had the chicken with red tomato sauce along with the NAM garlic bread. I was impressed with not only the cleanliness of the place but with the amazing food and great service. This place does not disappoint! Enjoy friends!!

Google
Yummy local Indian spot offering a variety of dishes. The tikka masala was the standout dish; nice and creamy with a full flavor. I didn’t leave any sauce leftover as I was putting it on everything. The chicken curry had meatier chicken chunks and a deeper flavor; I ordered medium spice and it had a good, noticeable spice but was not overwhelming at all. The naan came hot and complimented everything well. We got very full with the food we ordered but I’d definitely recommend one main dish per person. Service was friendly and quick. There’s a nearby lot you can park at.

Google
Updated- Amazing Indian food. I have tried a lot of Indian cuisines, this one is definitely above average. The food is served hot, fresh and it is delicious and full of flavor. Portions are great as well, but it would have been great if the Masala price included the rice. I love the dining area but they need a customer bathroom to complete it. I definitely recommend this place !

Google
Wonderful Indian food. When the food first comes out, it may seem like smaller portions but don't be fooled. Packed full of flavor, you'll be satisfied. The butter chicken, lamb biryani, garlic naan, and eggplant were all great. The rice side order was also well spiced. Service was especially cordial. The atmosphere was casual.

Google
I come here every time I’m in LA. I don’t need a menu, and a lot of times I don’t even need to put my order in. These guys are awesome. They only see me once a month but have my entire order memorized when I walked in. Chicken Tikka Masala, Buttered chicken, 2 mango drinks, Spicy chicken Biriyani rice, and 2 orders of garlic naan. We don’t even wait 10 minutes before all our food is already out in front of us. One of the best Indian spots I’ve ever been to in the US!

Google
The food is really masterfully made. The flavoring and marinade is perfect. They obviously have a real tandoor and cook the tandoor items on the spot so it takes a while to get them but they are absolutely amazing tasting. Aloo tiki chat was delicious but non spicy. The garlic nan and the paratha were just from bread heaven. The chicken tandoori was really well marinated and flavored, very tender as well and nicely crisped up in the tandoor but not spicy at all. The Achar chicken curry was super delicious and freshly made with fresh ingredients, you could taste the fresh ginger bits, and again very well flavored, but not spicy at all. The chicken tikka masala was well flavored and tender and creamy. It’s only white meat and not spicy at all. The spicy/heat level on all items is 0, without asking for less spicy food when ordering. Clearly it is catered to the American taste to be able to tolerate the spiciness and so it is completely non-spicy. My comment to this is that there should be an option to request it spicy or non-spicy. I’m not Indian but I enjoy Indian food precisely for the heat. The flavoring is bomb here just needs more heat. It’s a small restaurant but we’ll maintained. Service was fast. Not expensive and really good quality food.

Yelp
Ate here with some friends the other night and was absolutely delicious. Food came quickly, was tasty, and wasn't too expensive. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even packing up some desserts for us at the end of the dinner (had to bring some home). Overall a great experience, would recommend!

Yelp
Great food, I always order when I'm visiting culver city. My favourites are the paneer bhuna and the gobi manchurian. And the raita with biryani is amazing too!

Jen

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Food is incredible, reasonably priced, always happy to order from here!

Yelp
There's something about a good Indian spot but there's even more about a great Indian spot with great service and amazing food! I'm not even joking. I've had my share, and boy I've had my share but this spot....lemme paint the picture. Picture it, Sicily 1922....wait. I'm aging myself lol My sisters and I went to the LA Women's Expo. We decided to get Indian food after. My oldest sister was the first person to introduce me to Indian food about 30 years ago in Long Beach at a place called Natraj. It was there that I realized, I believe I was Tikka Masala in my past life. When we arrived at Tandoori Eats honestly I was looking for a stand alone but it was in a strip mall. For some of us that makes us nervous, but for the rest of us, we know the "hole in the walls" are going to be epic. And epic it was! As a Wegetarian (sometimes I'll venture into the carnivorous lifestyle on the weekends) we ordered the following: appetizers - Samosas and Pakoras. Mango Lassi's. Main courses - tofu tikka masala, grilled chicken, basmati rice, lentils, garlic naan and butter chicken. All and I mean all of it was delicious! Cooked fresh to order. The waitresses were quick and brought our food with swiftness. I felt like royalty!!! And they were NOT stingy with the sauces. The tamarind and green sauce I could drink, with a straw on a Sunny afternoon. Just yummy! We didn't even want to leave! Bellies were full but I literally wanted to lick my plate it was so good!! I was watching people coming in and ordering their food; door dashers picking up orders. Why not stay? Now I know, because the way I devoured my food I needed to be close to a sink. Dear Tandoori Eats - you have a forever fan in me! I think I've spoken your name at least once a week as a recommendation! Thank you for exceeding my expectations.

Yelp
Good prices, very good food! We've tried a few things now. We love the chicken tikka masala and we also tried their biryani. Which was DELICIOUS. We just wished we got more Raita(?) the yogurt sauce on the side. Naan was cooked well, chewy and garlicky. Their rice has some spices in it and it's quite good! It adds depth to the flavors. we've now done takeout 3x and it's our favorite in the area. (we have no pictures because we always chow down lol)

Yelp
I'm so proud of the owners of Tandoori Eats in giving our community great authentic Indian food for many years. I wrote the first review of this great restaurant quite a few years back. I was thrilled then and I'm even more impressed today. We devoured our food tonight and I couldn't be happier for their success. Our take out order was as follows: One order of Chana Masala, two orders of Chicken Tikka Masala, one whole Tandoori Chicken, one order of Lamb Saag, both Pilau and Saffron Rice, two orders of their incredible Onion Kulcha Naan and a small order of their Cucumber Raita. Plus Tamarind and Mint sauces. The food was amazing and the portion sizes huge. I've been to India quite a few times and my wife and I even attended an Indian wedding. An event that lasted many days and hosted a few thousand guests. The food tonight was equal to that occasion. I can only wish Tandoori Eats continued success far into the future.

Yelp
Came here looking for a great butter chicken in LA and this honestly did the job! The hospitality from the moment we walked in the door was great and welcoming! Service was fast! Thank you again so much! Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
This place right here all gas, no brakes. Five stars, all the way. From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the butter chicken and a side of vegetables--both were seasoned to perfection. When they asked me how spicy I wanted it, I knew I was in the right spot. You could tell they really care about how they prepare their food. I added two samosas to the order solid. And that garlic naan? Whew. Garlic flavor was on point not overpowering, just right. Took it all home, pictured below. And let me tell you, the portions were generous. I got two meals out of it. I put a video below to see restuarant. This is the best indian food I have ever eaten hand down again ALL GAS NO BREAKS!!!

Yelp
The King Reigns. I've been trying Indian spots all over LA for years now, and I'm ready to call TE the GOAT. I was ready on first bite four years ago to be fair, but now we got the stats. Furthermore I just got delivery down to Torrance which took 90+ minutes and it still banged just as hard. Portions still the biggest, cost still as good as it gets, and the flavors are outta this world. Never change TE!

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and it turned out amazing! The young girl that served us was really nice and pleasant and the place is extremely clean which I love and is extremely important because that's the first thing I look at whenever I try a new place. The owner came in while we were dining and he was really nice as well made you feel welcomed I highly recommend this place this is my second time trying Indian food and this place did not disappoint!

Yelp
Food: We ordered lamb biryani, chicken tikka, palak paneer, and garlic naan. The lamb in our biryani was perfect, and the rice was also aromatic and flavorful. I'm so glad I ordered this; highly recommended! I also enjoyed having the creamy chicken tikka masala poured over my biryani; what an amazing combination! My husband and I are always fans of palak paneer and garlic naan. Service: Good and attentive. Ambiance: Casual

Yelp
Becoming a regular here when I need a perfect dinner! Half tandoori chicken + eggplant + chili garlic naan is perfect for 2, well spiced quality tandoori chicken is the only way for me to eat chicken after this. Support independent family run restaurants like this
google avatar

Denzel L.

Yelp
GASSSSSSSSSS! Ordered delivery, got the Chicken Tikka Masala for wifey, Butter Chicken for me, Basmati and Garlic Naan for us both. Both the Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala were extremely wealthy in flavor the perfect amount of acidity, spice and creamy! The rice was fluff and aromatic just perfect and the naan was soft and had the perfect char to it from the tandoor. I was CRAVVVVVING THIS AND IT FUFILLED...even exceeded my expectations of my craving! Will be back again 100/10!

Yelp
Absolutely horrible experience- waited over an hour after stated pickup time, heard others complaining their orders had taken up to two hours. Owners screaming at kitchen staff and back end in complete chaos. Puddles of water and dishes piled up in dining room. Meanwhile they keep taking orders that will take hours to fill at 9pm. Pure greed. This used to be a nice restaurant, seems like they are unable to handle their success. Never, ever again. Plenty of other options where the restaurant is properly staffed and the owner not abusive to them.

Navinder D.

Yelp
I would say food was like my mother made Fresh and homemade taste Very accomodations to our taste and needs

Yelp
I freaking love this place. Like, I LOVE this place. I love this place so much, I thought about doing my birthday party here (or more realistically, catering from here). I will be coming here forever. We order something different every time and I haven't been disappointed yet. No recommendations because quite literally everything is delicious. Service is great. Food is very flavorful. I would be careful if you aren't too great with spice because they do not mess around and a hot is actually really hot. Don't forget your mango lassi!
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
My friend mentioned Indian food so we decided to come here for lunch because of the high rating. We ordered chicken tikka masala, palak/saag paneer, yellow daal, garlic naan, basmati rice, and mango lassi. Everything turned out fantastic and was very tasty. The spice level we ordered was just right. The mango lassi was especially good. The restaurant is very clean with a spacious feel to it. Service was good and pleasant. There are a few parking spots in the front lot along with some in the side lot. I don't usually come to this area, but I'd return to visit this restaurant again.

Yelp
loved the chana palak here! the girls were so sweet and the owner even came out to greet us. would definitely recommend :)

Yelp
We had to do a to go on dec 1st as were heading back from LA. In a small tucked it place with nice seating. This place was a saviour for us, it was open and we read excellent reviews. Given it was close by and was open was the biggest thing for us. The owner I presume who answered, was very nice and helpful. We ordered the Goat Biryani..and had it after few hours; it remained warm in the car and it was spectacular!! Perfect flavours; perfect packaging and perfect quantity.

Yelp
Was looking for an Indian place to eat at on our way back from Malibu and found this high rated spot. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the high rating. The vegetable samosa order came with 2 small samosas. They had a nice crust on them but it had too many peas for my liking; The flavor was ok. I liked their chutney (green sauce) though it enhanced the flavor of the samosas. 6/10 Compared to other Indian restaurants I've tried, their tikka masala unfortunately doesn't come with rice, you'd have to order that separately. I got the medium spice which had a little kick to it but wasn't too spicy. They put a fair amount of chicken, but the masala flavor wasn't present enough. 7.2/10 I got the garlic naan instead of rice. The naan was fresh and nicely baked. Could definitely taste the garlic and butter without being overpowering. 9/10 Tip: they do not have a public restroom but will let you use theirs if you ask.
google avatar

Kathy X.

Yelp
I can see why this place has such good reviews! The chicken tikka masala is flavored well, and really creamy, with lots of tender chicken. My only complaint is that it does not come with rice, and rice is $6.60 extra, but for a really big bowl of rice. Also tried the garlic and chicken naan and both are really delicious! They have a small parking lot, you might have to wait a few minutes for a parking spot.

Allen T.

Yelp
Went there with my girlfriend today. The team was such a pleasure, very nice and welcoming! We desperately needed some garlic naan in our bellies, and they delivered. They didn't just deliver, they outdid themselves. The basmati rice was moist and sumptuous, Saag Paneer rich and sweet. And most importantly the medium spice level was perfect! Seriously give this place a try.

Yelp
Great food! Great price! Absolutely delicious and very well priced and good quantity too. Highly recommend will be going back many times
google avatar

Yelp
This is hands down some of the BEST indian i've ever had. Service is quick, food is fresh, hot and FLAVORFUL! The restaurant is nice and spacious not too busy when I go. I love the spice levels and how the HOT level is actually spicy. The mango lassi is just the cherry on top while enjoying such a good meal. My go to is the Paneer Tikka or Chana Masala, garlic naan, and some fresh rice! My mouth is watering just writing this review. I cannot wait till payday to go back!! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!
google avatar

Erica K.

Yelp
On my way home, I love picking up some yummy, warm Indian food. They are quick and friendly. Eating at the restaurant is also great too, an easy going vibe with great service.

Richard B.

Yelp
Maybe the best Indian restaurant on the West Side. Lamb is tender, spices are intense, dal is flavorful and deep. Friendly staff, no delays.

Beverly S.

Yelp
The vegetable Korma was amazing. I enjoyed with the lamb biryani. The spices and seasoning was also balanced. Delicious & I will definitely go again!
google avatar

Makoto C.

Yelp
This is my favorite Indian restaurant on the West Side. I mean, it has the best food. The ambience is fine, it's clean and all, and it's not trying to be "trendy" or even fancy, but they do some pretty awesome Indian food here. I saw the 5 star reviews (super rare) on Yelp and decided to see if this place lived up to the hype. We had: -Butter Chicken - Super rich, creamy, and delicious. Lots of pieces of tender chicken and so good to use as a "dipping" sauce for the naan. -Biryani - Another dish with lots of spices and flavor. Rice was not too soft, and had enough texture that it was great even the next day. A little too spicy for my girlfriend though. -Tandoori Sampler - All of this meat was just soooo good. Big pieces of meat cooked in a over with quality shrimp. The onions on the bottom were SUPER good too, they reminded me of really good (non-fried) onion rings. -Naan - Some of the best naan. Definitely made fresh and not out of a bag. The meal was really good. When we were done eating the chef came out of the kitchen to ask us how everything was. You know the food is good, when the chef comes out to greet you. It's sorta a flex by saying "Yeah, I know I am good" and this was appreciated.

Yelp
4++ small mom and pop Indian café/restaurant located in a small lot across from the Palms metro station. The service was friendly and the menu was pretty extensive with Indian classics and a good amount of my vegetarian options. I actually came to this place right when it first opened. This place used to be a sandwich counter and deli. My first visit I got the butter chicken, but on this visit I got the chicken tikka masala. The food comes out fresh and tasty and enjoyed the food very much both times. The naan comes out hot, fluffy, and fresh as well! Great neighborhood restaurant!
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic! Authentic flavors and great seafood and vegan/vegetarian options. Highly recommended the malai mushroom curry and paneer tikka tandoori dishes. Service was super friendly and the restaurant is super clean. These are very important factors when enjoying dining. My wife and I definitely coming back!
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
I've gotten takeout from this restaurant twice already and each time did not disappoint. I usually order the following: Samosas Basmati rice Garlic naan Tikka masala Tandoori chicken Eggplant or the okra dish Each dish was well prepared and delicious. I was able to pickup before my estimated pick up time. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very spacious and clean inside. I even received a personal text asking how my order went. Great customer service and even greater food :)
google avatar

Divya D.

Yelp
Service was quick. Ambience is similar to most Indian restaurants. Barebones tables and chairs, Bollywood songs playing on tv. Paneer butter masala was on point. We got it made spicy and it was very aptly spiced for my Indian taste. Onion kulcha was also great. This would definitely be on my list of curry delivery orders. The tandoori chicken was too dry. We ordered chole bature as spicy too. But it was too much on the hot side to be able to recognize the authentic taste. I'd go for a medium next time.

Nisha S.

Yelp
Very clean restaurant. Good service and hosting. Delicious food. When asked for spicy food, they make the food actually spicy.
google avatar

Yelp
Our first time here!! I've been on a search for good Indian food and this place was delicious, so far my favorite place I've found while living out here :) Brought friends and family, and we all agreed we'll be coming back Service was also great, thank you for being so kind to us!!

Yelp
Found this place during a trip to Santa Monica. So many Indian restaurants to choose from when in LA, but this one was conveniently close to our destination. It doesn't have too much of an Indian theme in terms of decor, which is unfortunate. I love when I walk into an Indian restaurant that truly immerses itself in its culture. The TV was on but only the Roku screensaver was playing. Would have loved to have seen some Indian music/dancing or even some cricket. Food was spicy (as requested) and had a good taste. Was all very filling and we took boxes home with us. Really enjoyed the samosas; I love that each Indian restaurant has their own way of making them. But this was one of the best I've tasted. Service was fine. It's a simple indoor restaurant, and I'm sure they get regular patronage from locals. Biggest downside for me was that they don't have public bathrooms. That's a challenge if they're serving lots of water and other drinks.

Katie R.

Yelp
Chicken tikka masala & garlic naan were absolutely amazing. Flavors were rich and delicious. Portion sizes generous. Happy to order from here!

Lillian G.

Yelp
The best Indian food I've ever had. The samosa chaat and the makhani were mind blowing. The garlic naan and gulab jamun were also good. The only thing we didn't like was the lamb seekh kabab because it was a bit dry. I would definitely come back for everything else

Marimari D.

Yelp
Hands down the best Indian food in west la. My husband is the pickiest eater and says that this is by far the best place for Indian food. We get the veggie korma, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobhi, and lots of garlic naan!
google avatar

Hillary G.

Yelp
The food is delicious and well prepared and the service was very good. enjoyed the chicken korma and the sag paneer.

Yelp
Oh boy. Where do I even begin. If I have ever wanted to write a love letter to a restaurant, tandoori eats may just be the place I send said letter. Our relationship began when I was told by my boyfriend this was THE Indian place. Now I've eaten a lot of Indian in my (technically short) lifetime. I was born and raised on chicken tikka masala. So when I opened yelp and saw it had 5 stars, I was shooketh. I frequent yelp often, and rarely do I see a 5 star success story. Eager to give Tandoori Eats a gander, I ordered some chicken curry (mild because I'm weak) with a side of rice. It was late, I had climbed, and was starving. I still remember that first bite to this day. Perfectly spiced, I have only had Indian this good a handful of times. The relationship moved quickly because when you know you know, and it is now our go-to Indian spot no question. Service is always fantastic, and the staff is extremely nice. Thank you tandoori eats for supporting me in my Indian food obsession, you are the best
google avatar

Renay S.

Yelp
The best Indian food in town. We tried a lot of things: Chicken Masala vindaloo, chicken tika Masala, palak paneer, raita, chicken biryani, gulab jamun, garlic naan, and a side dish with potatoes and peas? Forgot the name but we went there based on the reviews and it was as good as they said it was. Will be back. Oh, and medium was the perfect spice for us. Better go mild if you're delicate.
google avatar

Mel M.

Yelp
Having spent 15 years in England, we've often lamented the lack of good options for Indian food in LA - until we tried Tandoori Eats. Wow. The food is fresh and delicious and it felt like everyone cared about what was being served up, from the front of house to the kitchen. We only ordered takeout this time, but we will be back to dine in very soon. The Karahi chicken had a lightness AND a depth of flavor, and the chicken tikka masala was a hit with our 7-year-old, who asked that the leftovers be put in her lunchbox the next day. We were also impressed with the aloo gobi, which was perfectly cooked and not at all soggy, and the black dal was rich and tasty. We can't wait to return!
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Authentic and delicious! With great service and a small parking lot. Highly recommend if you're looking for Indian food on the west side
google avatar

Aaron F.

Yelp
My long time friend and I went here because he had a craving, and discovered this incredible family owned restaurant! We ordered a plethora of naan, tikka masala, mango drink (I forgot what it's called) and everything was delicious!!! We ordered to go, but it smelled so good we ate it in the parking lot. The service was stellar, the restaurant owner even reached out afterwards to make sure we were delighted with our choices. The vibe inside was awesome, next time we'll definitely dine in. Thank you Tandoori Eats and staff, we appreciate you!!!
google avatar

Sarah V.

Yelp
Tandoori eats is a family favourite and tonight was no exception. The chicken Tikka masala and Lamb mushroom malai are unparalleled. I can't wait for leftovers!
google avatar

Sue N.

Yelp
My friend and I were craving Indian food and she found this small hole in wall place. Amazing food!! We ordered Chicken Tikka, Lamb Curry, Chicken Biryani, Mixed Grill Tandoori, and Garlic Naan. Yes, we ordered more than enough because we were planning to take leftover home to enjoy later or next day. Everything was so good, oh boy, my mouth is getting watery to remember those dishes. Yes, they were really delicious!! The ambiance was okay but super clean which is more important to me than being fancy. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and impeccable. I can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend!!!

Broneel Y.

Yelp
Great food, we ordered twice this week at work. Kind service as well. Got the chicken tikka masala, extra spicy this time. 10/10. Naan was super fresh as well!

Yelp
Everything we tried was delicious. We ordered all vegetarian dishes, and our favorites were Saag Tofu, Aloo Ghobi, Mixed Vegetables, Tofu Masala and Vegetable Samosas. We ordered medium spice and it was still quite spicy (in a good way).
