There's something about a good Indian spot but there's even more about a great Indian spot with great service and amazing food! I'm not even joking. I've had my share, and boy I've had my share but this spot....lemme paint the picture. Picture it, Sicily 1922....wait. I'm aging myself lol
My sisters and I went to the LA Women's Expo. We decided to get Indian food after. My oldest sister was the first person to introduce me to Indian food about 30 years ago in Long Beach at a place called Natraj. It was there that I realized, I believe I was Tikka Masala in my past life.
When we arrived at Tandoori Eats honestly I was looking for a stand alone but it was in a strip mall. For some of us that makes us nervous, but for the rest of us, we know the "hole in the walls" are going to be epic. And epic it was!
As a Wegetarian (sometimes I'll venture into the carnivorous lifestyle on the weekends) we ordered the following: appetizers - Samosas and Pakoras. Mango Lassi's. Main courses - tofu tikka masala, grilled chicken, basmati rice, lentils, garlic naan and butter chicken.
All and I mean all of it was delicious! Cooked fresh to order. The waitresses were quick and brought our food with swiftness. I felt like royalty!!! And they were NOT stingy with the sauces. The tamarind and green sauce I could drink, with a straw on a Sunny afternoon. Just yummy!
We didn't even want to leave! Bellies were full but I literally wanted to lick my plate it was so good!! I was watching people coming in and ordering their food; door dashers picking up orders. Why not stay? Now I know, because the way I devoured my food I needed to be close to a sink.
Dear Tandoori Eats - you have a forever fan in me! I think I've spoken your name at least once a week as a recommendation! Thank you for exceeding my expectations.
