Tandoori Pizza - Bellerose

I’m a customer with them for more than a year and food including variety of Pizzas as well as wings is just top notch. The flavor is always amazing and we enjoy it as it’s our all time favorite but I’m sorry guys I’m giving you 2 star because of the Gluten free pizza I ordered last time on Saturday 1/3/26. It was all over cooked and burnt on the base. When we asked the guy and complained , he said gluten free base is very thin and it is usual for it to be like that!!!! I mean really????? If the base is thin already prepared you can adjust the time and temperature just not to burn it. The baking time and temperature could be reduced to half comparable to a regular base. I was v disappointed with it may be because it was new guy. This happened first time and it was hard like a rock. The toppings and flavor was good but it was the burnt base that was making it taste bitter. We still paid and didn’t eat it, and threw it away. I’d request the owner to please train the chefs to adjust the cooking time and temperature for different pizza bases. Otherwise I have tried almost every item on their menu and it’s always delicious 🤤. Still my go to place!

Amazing food. Their pizza always hits!! Amazing and quick service. Will definitely be going back. Their wings are perfectly cooked and everything tasted so fresh!! Definitely recommend

Had been here for the first time. We got a large pizza with half butter chicken and half curry chicken. The pizza was thin crust and enjoyable however it did not do justice to Indian flavors. I was hoping to find butter chicken sauce on it but it just had chicken tossed with powdered spices. The pizza by itself was delicious but I hope they improve on make the flavors more robust.

This place delivers delicious food which I enjoyed lot of times almost thrice in a week. They serves amazing pizza’s which i personally enjoyed and their service and friendly environment makes it speechless. Although the taste of food is something out of the box and i highly recommend to everyone to try their food. So you can also try a delicious style of pizza here.

Editing my five star review to one star because of the worst customer service today, never happened before. Always loved the pizza that’s why we came here. We usually eat it even next day but it is never this dry like plastic. But this time we ordered medium it was already hard. We asked the guy at the reception to make a small one for us annd we will pay for medium and can take this back he said you would have to pay for both. We paid for the pizza we didn’t eat it and left. Pizza was really good. They put decent amount of chicken on pizza which is quite impressive as compared to other places. I hope they will be consistent with the quality. Must try!

We tried the Chili Paneer and Curry Veggie Delight pizzas, and both were tasty. The crust was perfectly crispy and golden, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. While they were labeled as spicy, my family and I found them to be more on the mild side. Overall, the pizzas were delicious, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Tandoori Pizza was a great first time experience for my Fiancée and I! The person who took our order was informative and very polite while serving us! The Achari wings were very delicious! The Tandoori cheese sticks were great, the Tandoori Chicken pizza was phenomenal!! Would definitely recommend and come back here again!

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed Despite Being a Loyal Customer Date: July 6 2025 | Time: 9:00 PM – 10:45 PM I’ve been a frequent customer of Tandoori Pizza Place for years, always recommending their Indian-style pizza to friends and guests. But tonight’s experience was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. I placed my order through their official website at 9:00 PM, with a special request for extra garlic sauce. Their website clearly stated 45 minutes delivery time. However, I received my order only at 10:45 PM, a full 90 minutes later, after making multiple calls to the restaurant. By the time the pizza arrived, all of my guests had left. I had saved a slice for each of them, excited to let them taste what I’ve always called the best Indian pizza in town. But what ruined it further was the missing garlic sauce, which is essential for the full experience—and I had explicitly requested extra sauce. When I called the restaurant, hoping for an apology or explanation, the staff instead blamed me, saying I should have ordered via Doordash or called them directly—even though I used their own website! No accountability, no customer service. Just rudeness and deflection. It’s shocking to be treated like this after supporting this business for nearly six years. Good quality food alone does not make up for disrespect, negligence, and lack of responsibility. I’m attaching my receipt to show proof of the order timing: Ordered at 9:01 PM, delivered at 10:45 PM. This experience was not only frustrating but embarrassing, especially in front of my guests. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Tandoori Pizza Place after this.

I had high hopes when I decided to surprise my husband with Tandoori Pizza and Achari Wings. Sadly the experience was a letdown. First off, the food was far too expensive for how awful it tasted. The pizza itself was a mess. The tandoori chicken was dry as hell, like it had been cooked for way too long. There was no sign of the creamy garlic sauce that was supposed to accompany it. Instead I got a bunch of dry, flavorless chicken on top of red onions, bell peppers diced tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, and mozzarella cheese with no real seasoning to speak of. As for the Achari Wings, they were a ln absolute disaster. They were incredibly spicy, but in a way that felt off. Almost as if they had been blackened to the point of burning, yet they didn't even have the depth of flavor that should come with that kind of heat. I'm all for a balance spice level, but when the heat overpowers everything else and the texture looks unappetizing, it's a huge red flag. I also asked for extra ranch, but the cups they gave me were barely filled. It felt like an afterthought. Honestly, I've been on the lookout for a place that combines curry flavors with pizza, but every single pizzeria I've tried that attempts to put an ethnic spin on pizza has been a huge disappointment. This one was no exception. I really wanted to love it, but it just didn't deliver on any front, especially for the price.

Read that this was one of the best new spots in the area for the year and was PUMPED to try it. Ultimately, a bit of a letdown. The menu options are so aesthetically pleasing it's unreal. Everything looks and sounds delicious, so I had a tough time deciding what to get. Admittedly, even the 12" pizzas seemed a bit pricey but I guess not for a gourmet-type pizza place. Was told 20-25 minutes and when I got there it was more 40-45. Which is fine as they seemed busy. The pies smelled amazing in my car, so I was super excited. Chili paneer: This really was as spicy as advertised. It really packs a punch. I didn't care so much for the paneer as it seemed like texture-wise was a bit of an afterthought. Achari chicken: This was much more of a letdown. Simply said, this pizza is tough to eat without a dipping sauce. The thing about both of these pizzas is that it loses the gooey-ness and sauciness of a traditional pizza, so everything ends up being a bit dry. The crust is great but again is not lending itself towards a smooth texture. I thought "creamy garlic sauce" would be...creamier. The flavoring was nice but this was really a detractor.

Really interesting pizza place as they serve pizza with Indian flavors! Definitely not something I've seen often! I got their chicken tikka pizza and their Italian combination pizza which I really enjoyed. One thing though is that I wish the dough was less hard

I was starving, and I was way out in Queens. Normally this would have me heading to Flushing, but it was late. Tandoori Pizza was open, and it was on the way home. More importantly, the rating is a solid five stars, and their website promised me a symphony of flavors. I've never once turned down a symphony of flavors. So I ordered a Tandoori Chicken pizza for pickup, and drove over there. I planned to take it home, but it smelled like...a symphony of flavors, and I decided to eat a slice before getting back in the car. The nice gentleman behind the counter saw me eating, and asked me if I wanted ranch with my pizza. When I hesitated, he nodded yes, you do, and I found myself nodding with him. And it was good. The crust was crisp, the toppings and spices mixed to make a wildly flavorful combination of tastes, and adding ranch to the party made this an incredible fusion of Indian and American food. This is what we do. We take other people's food, slap it on pizza, and cover it in ranch. And it's amazing. Instead of the planned slice, I ate half the pizza sitting there, and then two more slices on the drive home. Yes, I made a mess of my pants in the car.

I stopped in to check out pizza with an Indian flavor. I love when someone takes a classic food and adds their culture into it. The food, the pizza was excellent with great flavors from India. I had two pizzas both of which were full of spice and flavor. The service was great with the guy behind the register. Also making all the food in the back. It is a decent size restaurant with plenty of seating

Tandoori Pizza is a new chain that now has an establishment in NHP. The owners are super nice and ensured my friend and I that there are spare refrigerators for halal and not-halal meat and went as far as to even show us which was very generous of him. He was also super nice without being overbearing as well. My friend and I ordered achari wings and tandoori pizza (medium size pie) and that was more than enough food for both of us. I don't think we went in with high expectations TBH as we expected another generic pizza chain but we were both proven wrong. The food is amazing and you can tell that it is super fresh as well. The tandoori chicken pizza definitely stood out to me as the previous halal chicken pizzas I've had were too greasy, lacked meat, and just weren't really good. However, this pie was really good and had a nice white-base (light garlic sauce vs. the traditional red tomato sauce) that I liked a lot. All in all, I will 100% be returning back with the family and am eager to try their other pies!

As always the tandoori pizza was great tasting and perfectly made to my request. I'm not much of a bell pepper fan so I opt for it not to be on my pizza. Also, I ordered the tandoori wings, spicy and well made like I like it. I ordered to go as I wanted to see the Knicks win and enjoy my freshly made tandoori pizza. Service is always up to par and they are very welcoming and friendly. Tandoori Pizza inside is small with 6 tables but maintained well and always clean. They do offer beer, wine, mango lassi, fancy water (which is delicious) Indian and American sodas. Keep it going Tandoori Pizza!!

Very unique and interesting approach the pizza. Tried two different pizzas, which were absolutely delicious. Made fresh. Place was very clean and service was fast. Will return to try some more options.

Their pizza is so delicious! I had been looking for a pizza spot with good tandoori chicken as a topping and so glad to come across this place! It's saucy, fresh, and delicious! 10/10 definitely recommend!

I had a similar Indian pizza in Oakland a few months ago and loved it, so I was excited to see something similar pop up here in ny. The pizza and wings were bomb and the leftovers have reheated so well! I was overwhelmed by the pizza options, so I called in to place my order and asked for recommendations. They recommended the Malai pizza and the Achari wings. They both SLAPPEDDD. Perfect amount of spice and the ranch was perfect both for the wings and pizza to cool things down. The store is clean with minimalist decoration, and a handul of seats if you want to dine in. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Amazing pizza. Amazing wings. Very light. Lots of meat. Perfect combination of flavors. Can't wait to try the rest. Tandoori is Service is great - servers constantly come and ask if everything is OK and if you need anything else. Ambiance is great. Perfect place to grab a quick bite for the night and watch some TV. They pretty much have all the channels.

The pizza here is fantastic! The first time we ordered it to go, and it was still great by the time we got home. Months later, we decided to try it at the restaurant, and I was able to place the order on my way, which meant a short wait before enjoying our meal. The pizza was absolutely delicious. One thing I love is that, unlike most pizzas that leave you feeling overly stuffed, this one feels much lighter--I'm not sure what kind of dough they use, but it makes a big difference. Definitely worth it!

Saw this restaurant while I was on a walk. Menu looked really interesting. The inside is nice and clean. I got the Tandoori Pizza and really enjoyed it.

Decent pizza and prompt delivery. I ordered the chicken tikka and it was very flavorful. Next time I will try the other flavors, as I'm sure they are just as tasty!

Pizza was bland and they gave me uncooked/undercooked jalapeño poppers. It was so gross.

I've seen other restaurants attempt to fuse Indian food on pizza but these guys are doing it right. It blends so well. Am the flavors are rich and everything is fresh. The service here also very friendly and helpful incase you need them!

Tandoori halal pizza was good. But idk if they sell halal and non halal both. They have halal certification on their wall but they don't understand what halal is. I am unsure if they really sell halal chicken.

The Pizza was delicious. And the Garlic/cheese sticks were phenomenal. The family meal was priced right and fed a family of 5. In addition, the service was superb. There is free parking right up front. Overall it was an awesome experience. Robert V.

The pizza here was so delicious. The pies we got were super fresh and clearly made with love. The place is super clean and you can see part of the kitchen which looked nice and clean too. The gentleman working was super friendly and clearly passionate about how good the food there is! I wish we lived closer to be regulars here.
