A Detroit‑style pizza bus with a TV pedigree, Izzy’s was featured on Diners, Drive‑Ins and Dives and still rolls to Trucks & Taps and brewery patios. Local coverage from the Omaha World‑Herald and Restaurant Hoppen backs its status as a must‑try pie on wheels.

We dined from 2 different vendors and the food was fabulous from both places. Complimentary water from the bar area cooler had foreign objects floating in it. The music, both live and bar area were enjoyable. If I lived in the area, I'd make it a point to visit often.

If you love the adventure of food trucks you have to try this place. The night we went it was 3 kids Lobster & The Modern Waffle, The Red Lion - (english food), New Orleans Authentic Snowballs, and Izzy's Pizza Bus along with a full, permanent bar. We sampled from different trucks. It was delicious. Even though it was busy we found a table and they keep the place clean.

Google
Such a fun little place with a lovely variety of drink options. The communication of the food trucks being open could improve. When we were there for the summer witches market, mid open, there was only 1 food truck open. However, food was delicious!

I got nocturnal eats, second time there. Philly was unique in structure from most Philly's I've which made it more user friendly, would recommend. The Cubano is one of the best I've had in town and Cubano is my favorite sandwich so they had a high bar to meet. Haven't tried anything else here yet, but there's 4 options. One has lobster rolls and another is Mexican, and a smoked meats place. Bar staff is great and they have a large NA selection for decent prices. Also full bar

Such a cool concept to repurpose an old Sonic. Great did and drink selection with a chill vibe. Bar staff was super friendly and the food from the trucks were top notch! Check it out before it gets too cold!!!

5 stars for the concept, vibes and service. 4 stars for the food. The weather was perfect to enjoy our experience dining outdoors here. We were on a double date, so it was the perfect spot to go so that we could each order whatever we wanted. The 3 resident trucks were there and all offered something to satisfy our cravings. The bar in the middle was awesome. Even better were the people working there. Two in our party enjoyed a beer and the other two had their cocktails. Our signature cocktails were tasty, but there wasn’t much in them for the cost. Mine was mostly ice, maybe 3-4 sips and it was gone. Loved it, nonetheless! I was excited to try the fish and chips because it’s one of my favorite things to eat and I’ve tried them all over town. Sad to report these were probably some of the most disappointing that I’ve had in Omaha. You can probably tell by the photo that they weren’t great. They seemed overcooked or perhaps the grease just needed to be changed. But the real miss was flavor—there was none. Lacked some serious seasoning in the batter. The steak fries we got with them were delicious though! Some ordered with the curry seasoning and some ordered without—both were hits with our group. The biggest reason we came here was to try the lobster roll. Husband is a huge lobster roll guy, and unfortunately there just aren’t many options to try in Omaha. He liked this one pretty well! Our whole group thought they were good—but the consensus was that they needed to be warmer. They weren’t cold and they weren’t hot, so it was a little confusing. But the large chunks of lobster made it worth the price. We want to come back when there is more of a variety. I’ve heard great things about other food trucks that come through. Major props to who seemed to be a manager there. He came around to each table and personally invited us to celebrate their two year anniversary in a couple of weeks. We hope to be there!

Showed up for some Sunday brunch. It's a neat concept. They have resident trucks and outside vendors. The bar sits right in the middle and I got myself a blood orange mimosa for $6. Prices seem to be fairly average for the omaha area on alcohol. The waffle truck was the only one open for brunch selection and they had plenty to offer. I got the waffle flight which gave you a sampling of 4 different varieties. All in all it was a 30ish dollar brunch for two. We will return sometime for the evening to explore more truck options.

Yelp
An old sonic drive in restaurant turned into a bar x food truck loop. We went on a Friday -- there were 5-6 food trucks with many different cuisine options. Everyone was very friendly, the food was so tasty, & the vibe was summery & fun!! Ended up going for nocturnal eats food truck and getting their famous Vader burger. Spicy, strong flavor, and the best bun!!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite locations to grab some food. I've enjoyed the lobster rolls, mussels and parmesan truffle fries from Three Kids Lobster. I've had burgers from Nocturnal Eats and now a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich from Burning Bridges. Every. Single. Time. I am blown away by the food these trucks serve. Not only do the employees work so hard, but I strong stand in saying their offerings are better than most brick and mortar restaurants in Omaha. Whether you're taking your family or going for a date night, this place is great. Options for everyone, cocktails and drinks all while playing games like cornhole and connect four. It's also dog friendly! Follow their T&T Instagram to stay up to date with the current schedule. Ideally it would be great if they could be open later but appears most of the time they close at 8pm. I love that there is more of a variety of food trucks this summer! Can't wait to try them all.

Yelp
Such a smart idea and nothing else like it in town. It was pretty quiet when we went around 1:30 on a Saturday. They had the Nebraska game playing and a bar for a great hangout session to take family or friends. There's also a bar with cocktails, NA drinks, and liquor/beer to order. We're pretty sure the person who owns the establishment was in the bar area and he was super kind and friendly. The lobster roll and the chicken tenders were delicious. The Connecticut role could have used more butter but otherwise a great ratio of lobster meat and a perfectly toasted roll. The chicken tenders were gluten free with nashville hot seasoning. The fries were crispy and the ranch was to die for. Both were served in about 5 minutes and we cannot wait to go back to try the others foods!

Yelp
The ambiance was amazing and the service was too! I'm so excited to return! Food by Nocturnal Eats was AHHHMAZING! Def will return!

Yelp
Trucks & Taps is everything you could hope for in a food truck gathering place. It's important to take a look at the rotating schedule and plan for a wait time to get your food when you go during peak hours. I've tried multiple food trucks and have always been super happy with every single one. Last night I ate at the combined Three Kids Lobster and Modern Waffle truck. Initially they gave me the wrong type of lobster roll (one is warm, the other is cold) but they made it right and immediately gave me the correct roll when I told them. Because I have now tasted both rolls I can say I would love a little bit more flavor development on the butter or a little bit more tang to the other but overall happy with the dish. Plenty of quality chunks of lobster! The waffle was very tasty, could have used a few more strawberries or be paired with some whip cream or some kind. Customer service was phenomenal. For the primary Trucks & Taps building part where you can get drinks I felt like the drinks were super pricy for a small portion on their specialty drinks, way too much ice to make the glass look full.

Yelp
Me and my fiancé love coming here to sit outside but they really need more vegetarian options!

Yelp
I was craving a Connecticut style lobster roll (I don't do mayo) and happened to be passing Trucks and Taps. Three Kids Lobster was a beacon in the rain. It was my second time getting food from the truck. Last time it took... a while and my food was cold when I got it (to be fair, a ton of people were ordering and plenty were ahead of me). This time the more wasn't a crowd so I got my food quickly. Everything was fine- the lobster roll hit the sport. The lobster boil was a little disappointing. The seasoning I expected was lacking. I remember seafood/lobster boils back in Maine and CT being a little more flavorful. I quite like Trucks and Taps. The outdoor patio feel is relaxing. I've only been when it's been chilly out and they always have heaters on. The trivia night I stumbled upon my first time was a nice surprise. I haven't taken advantage of the "taps" part, but next time I go I will go with friends so I can.

Yelp
I was very disappointed with Trucks and Tapas. I had heard a lot of good things and read a lot of good reviews about it but it was nothing like I pictured. The environment was not the best, it seem like a death place when I went there. The food was alright but nothing out of this world. The people are very nice and there is a lot of parking.

Yelp
I have been trying for a few years to make it work to get out to T&T: Trucks & Taps, Patio & tonight my husband and I finally did! It's a former sonic where the restaurant portion has been turned into a bar with a walk-in window, they have rotating food trucks that pull right up! The place was packed tonight! We got drinks & my husband got the lunch & I got a draft beer. He ordered fish & chips from The Dire Lion Grille & Chippy & they were so hot & fresh I got the lobster roll & chips from Three Kids Lobster which was fresh & made to order The star of the show & my new obsession in town was New Orleans Sneaux which I have been to before but this time we split the blueberry cheesecake with real blueberries Fun atmosphere with music & super kid friendly

Yelp
Outdoor covered seating, visiting food trucks (permanent home of Dire Lion truck unless it's traveling), restrooms, and a fully STOCKED bar with Chef Isaiah's cocktail recipes. Seriously... get here yesterday. Follow them @trucksandtaps on Instagram. Enjoy visitors like Big Green Q, Wonton Jon's, Taste of New Orleans, Mobile Grace, Sweet Chili Lime, Maria Bonita, Pims Thai, Johnny Rico's Pizza, and more! Thank me later.

Yelp
Loved the options of trucks the Saturday we stopped! I opted for the Mexican truck and grabbed a rice bowl. It wasn't as spicy as she said it would be, but it was very filling and delicious! My only complaint is the lack of beers on tap. I thought they would have a larger selection but was quite surprised to learn I was wrong. They didn't have anything I like and had to settle for. Michelob Ultra can They hd a few drink specials but were already out by mid afternoon Saturday so I'm not I see how long those specials were going on.

Yelp
Had a great time at T&T's last night! The setup was awesome. Window for your bar drinks and surrounded by food trucks, who wouldn't love it? The owner was really personable and friendly. When it got chilly we asked for the outdoor heaters to be turned on. He even brought out blankets for people who wanted them! We were definitely impressed by the owner and will be returning! Happy eating Yelpers!

Yelp
Cool place. Great idea to repurpose and old building. Three trucks were there on a Friday afternoon. Didn't get anything to eat but had a beer from the bar. Nice selection of beers from other parts of the country which I like.

Yelp
I ordered on my phone, which was incredibly convenient. It said it would take 15 minutes, but I made it there in under 15 and food was already there when I arrived. Food was fresh too. The eating area was clean, there were 2 food trucks present when I visited on a weekday for lunch. Not busy at all, but could see later on a weekend or on a warmer day it would be busier. The location is clearly an old sonic building, but it works great for a food truck hall!

Yelp
Saw this event on facebook and came as a last second choice. SO glad I did! I love food trucks and the weather is so nice today it was the perfect time to go. 10 food trucks with all types of food, so you are sure to find something! The staff was so friendly and happy to be there. They also have a kid tent with face paintings and balloons. I will absolutely be back!

Yelp
I have always been a fan of food trucks, so when I stumbled upon Trucks and Taps on a Facebook post I knew I had to check it out. There were about 10 or so food trucks all offering different cuisines. I opted for The Big Green Q for some bbq (I will write about them in a separate review). Trucks and Taps was very kid, family, and dog friendly. The one thing I would comment on is lack of places to sit. We sat on the ground which was fine because we are young and able to, but this could pose a challenge for others. Regardless, this is such great idea and everyone is bound to find something they like.

Yelp
I love this idea! Our group went to lunch here, had drinks and food. It was excellent. I wish we had one of these in Sioux Falls.

Yelp
I'm working in town . Have heard good things about this place . I went on a Sunday so one truck was open, but that was expected on a Sunday . I had the three kids lobster truck . Food was alright the lobster sandwich didn't really have flavor for the price was really lacking in my opinion.

Yelp
I think my expectations might have been high. This was only my second time eating out since last year so i've been hanging on to my 'must try' list. My first venture out (at a diff restaurant of course) was a few days ago and it was horrible horrible. I am going to give the T&T ambience, idea, the space and the cleanliness a solid 4. I didn't like what I had for lunch very much so maybe dinner service is where its at and perhaps a different truck. I was hoping most establishments (even if its on wheels) would be happy to have a glint of steady business again but I haven't been met with welcoming arms really either.

JF C.

Yelp
Fun stop. The lobster truck is great. Pricy but it's pretty much what u would pay anywhere for a good lobster roll. Absolutely as good as u would find on the coast. I promise. I have eaten lobster rolls on the east coast my entire life . These are delicious. So happy they are here

Yelp
The management here are so friendly and helpful. Always walking around talking to customers making sure everything is going well. The drink prices are fair and they have a pretty good selection. When the parking lot gets full there's plenty of space in the big lot behind Taco Bell. They've had Wonton Jon's, Dire Lion, Taste of New Orleans, Big Green Q and more. Their website stays up to date on schedules. For opening in the middle of a pandemic I feel like they've done quite well. I will sit outside in a coat and boots when it gets colder, that's how much my boyfriend and I like this place, but they are making some changes to help the seating area stay warm and they did add some outdoor heaters.
