"Tang Jai Yang’s chef started cooking char siu, or Cantonese-style barbecue pork, for family and friends before selling it online. There, it went viral, so he opened this understated place. Since almost every dish on the menu contains the succulent pork, you can’t really go wrong." - Michelin Inspector

I saw this place on YouTube so wanted to check it out. I got the Deep Fried Dumpling with creamy crab and scented truffle. These were delicious and I could have ate more if I hadn't ordered another dish. I also gor the Claypot BBQ Pork with Chinese Sausage and egg. It came in a sizzling pot, the egg yolk was runny to begin with but with the residual heat it went to a more hard boiled consistency. The pork was tender and the sausage had a great flavour. At the bottom of the pot the rice had stuck a little, but this rice had a toasted flavour so changed the dish as you ate down the pot. There's only 4 tables so I imagine it can get full quickly, but it was well worth the trek over from Sukhumvit.

A small and cozy place! It’s become one of my favorite go-to spots for homey and delicious Chinese food! Love their shrimp dumplings and BBQ pork!

I love this place’s employees. Some of them are ladyboys and really exciting to engage with. Scientifically, most of the workers are male and they give special treats. You should try this!!

Famous for Cantonese pork BBQ, guaranteed by Michelin guide from 2022 to 2024. There are limited space inside the restaurant with just only 4-5 small tables. Delicious but I deducted 1 start due to a bit sweet taste of pork BBQ. There is no parking space but if you are lucky, you’ll fine free parking space along the street in front of the restaurant.

Take away review. Currently one of the best BBQ pork! very soft, tender, and flavorful, however, each piece is a bit too small. The noodle is perfectly cooked and their rice is amazingly yummy, glutinous-like texture. Their fried rice menus are recommended as well as the BBQ menus. Only 4 tables for sit-in so reservation is a must.

Every single meal is delicious. The crab truffle fried spring rolls are soft, have a pleasant aroma, and include crab and truffle. The roasted pork is tender and flavorful. The round table, moon gate pattern on the wall, and green tone made us feel warm and comfy. Arriving to the restaurant between 11.00 and 12.00 is not crowded, and you will not have to wait long, but you can sense its popularity from the riders who take turns picking up the meal all the time.

Thank you, Michelin Guide, for the recommendation. We give this Cantonese roast place a 5 out of 5 without hesitation. The barbecue pork was tender, smoky, and adequately marinated. The fried rice was so special and reminded me of Indonesian Nasi Goreng, too, which I had been missing. The service was perfect. There is an AC to cool you down and a toilet for natural needs. Despite being a Cantonese gem of a diner, they don't have goose or duck on their roast menu yet. Thank you for giving us delicious food. You are awesome.

Very good Chinese style BBQ restaurant with both traditional and modern vibes. The BBQ pork was outstanding, juicy soft, the perfect cut of meat and the BBQ seasonings were unique. The egg was nice and jammy. One star of the show was the chilli crisp which was very hot and had such a good flavour. Highly recommend. 220 bahr for BBQ roast pork, rice and egg with two sodas.
