I had a spare of the moment craving for lamb made simply and their lamb gyro satisfied this craving for me. I’ve known of this place for years and had never been until this day. There are many other specialties in this store. The people here are humble and kind. I will return. Thank you.

i’m sorry but it literally doesn’t get better then this. peak food experience. the falafel wrap is like a bite of heaven, i am now unable to get falafel anywhere else because it’s just so pathetic compared to these. be sure to call in advance to order, and i’ve never seen a staff who looks like they love their job more. all of them are rays of sunshine. and let’s not even talk about the actual grocery selection. the 7 layer halva is a must buy whenever I go. beautiful atmosphere. i’m still in awe that the best falafel i’ve had is somehow in connecticut of all places

Overall the people are welcome they smile they greet you it’s clean they answer my questions about food only issue really my gyros meat is skimpy the lamb is already thin

Been coming here for years, always great service and food. The falafel sandwich is delicious I always get it with hot sauce and no onions. Baba Ganouj is creamy and tangy served with a good portion of bread, and the hummus as well. As you can see in the pictures the selection of foods from all over the Middle East is amazing from olives to pots and pans. The outside seating area is beautiful. on sunny day it makes you feel like you are on the beach. Store is clean and food selection is great. ♿️ accessible

Popped in for the first time and was not disappointed. I got a pint of their yellow lentil and potato soup with a toasted pita. I am trying not to eat the whole soup in one sitting, so tasty! There seemed to be a lot of happy regulars inside, the employees were so kind and remembered them all by name. Thank you for a great experience, I’ll be back for a spicy wrap I saw someone eating :)

This is in my top 5 favorite places to eat in Hartford County. The owners and employees are so friendly and accommodating. Food is amazing…from the soup to falafel and gyro. Great grocery and produce selection as well.

Tangiers is a market that has middle eastern/Mediterranean staples. From hummus to grape leaves, Tangier has it all. The highlight of this market is the grill located in the back of the market. The lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The falafel is my favorite item on the menu. So flavorful you would forget it was vegetarian. The sandwiches are $8 but worth every penny.

Attended a party last night where Tangiers food was catered. I’m embarrassed to tell you how my lamb gyros I’ve eaten in the last 24 hours but to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. The Baba ghanoush was to die for as well! To say the least- this place will be my saving grace as I head back into the office downtown 3 days a week. Love love love this place! Can’t wait to check it out in person noting how good the product was from a take away perspective!
