Okay, as a Chinese person who's lived abroad for ages, finding Chinese food that actually tastes like home is rare. Tang Town? Nailed it! Their brunch is legit, and two dishes absolutely blew me away:
1. That Sichuan Fish Soup (Tiger Grouper):Babe, This is the stuff dreams are made of. The broth? Insanely flavourful - tangy, spicy, fragrant, perfect balance. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender and BONELESS (huge plus!). Seriously, it's pure comfort food magic. I kept scooping extra rice JUST for that incredible broth. 🤤 If you try one thing, make it THIS.
2. The Peking Duck (Half): Proper Peking duck! The skin was CRISPY AF and the meat juicy. Came with all the right bits (pancakes, cukes, sauce). Felt like a mini trip back to Beijing. The salt & pepper duck nibbles were also 🔥 - don't sleep on those!
The vibe inside is cool and modern-Chinese, nice for a chill weekend feed. Service was on point too.
Bottom line: Seriously craving authentic Chinese flavours? Tang Town delivers. That fish soup is a game-changer, and the duck is spot-on. It totally hit the spot for my homesick taste buds. 100% recommend for a tasty, satisfying brunch fix. Will be back for sure!
