As a first time goer to the Queens night market and a first generation Haitian American. Tania’s booth was the first booth I tried and I was eager to experience a taste of home. However, I was left with disappointment. The chicken labeled chicken stew in fact had no stew at all 🙃 the chicken was dry and unfortunately flavorless. The Mac and cheese was lacking cheese and flavor and didn’t have onions and peppers like the authentic dish is known for. The black rice was more like a light skin black rice. It didn’t have enough mushrooms to give it the color that it’s supposed to have and it didn’t have peas, flavor or salt. The watermelon juice also tasted good when u first take a sip but then has a spoiled sour taste afterwards. I don’t want to come and be negative but this is my honest experience. I would like to suggest some changes to increase the booth’s foot traffic. For example, having the food on display and a more vibrant signage with pictures of the food to attract customers as well as making the food more authentic. I would suggest having a grill and a small fryer to cook the plantains and chicken as the day goes on so that it’s hot and fresh. As well as a burner to serve hot Mac and cheese and rice throughout the day. Hope you make the changes and wish you the best!!

Tania’s kitchen is one of the best vendors. They are great at communicating and get orders delivered on time for events. The appetizers we ordered for our event was gone within a few minutes because they were just that good. The passionfruit juice was refreshing and our guest wanted more. Thank you Tania’s for the wonderful service.

Mom of 2 picky eaters. I can say....every fair, any event I know it's going to be 1 stop shopping if I see the Tania's Kitchen tent. Delicious food for all of us. The options under 1 tent are amazing. Even better when you see the Rita's cart not too far.

We invited Tania's kitchen to participate in a family event in Forest Hills and they did not disappoint! All of their offerings were delicious and obviously prepared with love. The chicken was perfectly spiced - quite possibly the best jerk chicken I've tasted. I will definitely be inviting them back next year - they were a big hit at the festival! Thank you Tania's Kitchen!

Do yourself a favor and book Tania's kitchen for your next event! I've ordered with Gardi's kitchen for several events and I must say the jerk chicken is always loaded with exquisite flavors and has the perfect amount of spiceit's ALWAYS a hit at family/friends events and has become a staple dish at every event. The service provided by this catering team is impeccable. From swift deliveries that consistently arrive earlier than expected to the warm professionalism they exude, every aspect adds to the overall exceptional experience. A culinary haven where flavor meets efficiency!

What all Haitians in NY have been waiting for. Great food! Great service! Originality! I am a big fan of the Caribbean Tacos. I hired them for a catering gig after tasting their food at a festival and all of my guests loved the food!! Highly recommend Tania’s Kitchen NYC.

Just WOW! Each and every time I have Tania’s Kitchen food I’m impressed. The food is just delicious and the owner is super cool and friendly. My go too is usually the jerk chicken with pickliz. I can’t wait to see them at the next festival!

Try not to bit your fingers off after having a dish at Tania's kitchen. The food is so finger licking good, you won't bother using the napkin they give you. 5 stars all day!

Yelp
This was one of the many vendors featured at the Yelp event last night at the Queens Museum. My friend is a pescatarian and was complaining about the limited non meat choices available when we came upon this booth offering smoked herring on crackers. It was super simple but extremely tasty! The owner was super friendly, this is a catering business that features Haitian Caribbean cuisine.
