Tanjong Beach Club

We had such a fantastic time. Filan really took care of us. From the service, to the atmosphere, the the food and drinks, everything was top notch. The pool was beautiful and the service was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing day!!!! The facilities are clean and beautiful. Thank you for a great time!!

The beach is quiet and great for taking peaceful photos or relaxing, but I was disappointed with the water quality. Due to nearby anchored tankers, pollution sometimes drifts toward the shore. It’s definitely not a place I would recommend for swimming. Nice for calm vibes, but not for a swim.

Service at the Tanjong Beach Club (TBC) was good. You can see the staff are really helpful and attentive. Overall, I would give this beach club a 3 star. The club looks much nicer on insta picture than the real environment. I was quite looking forward to it due to some revamp but it looked average given my honest opinion. Secondly, there were stains on the pool bed not caused by our group. From a customer POV, it feels like a basic requirement to have a clean looking pool bed. Especially if you want to have a cloth pool bed, TBC should take note of this. The colour scheme was quite nice and overall TBC has room for improvement but for now, it will be a kind of experience that i might consider whether to visit for a second time.

What a great place! First of all food is out of this world - honestly chapeau bas! It feels like home, tastes like heaven! Service is very kind and staff makes everybody welcome, the food is served quickly, staff is attentive all the time checking on all sunbeds... amazing amazing experience. One of best beach clubs I have ever been to... plus the music is a blast! So good... I will be coming back very often

Amazing vibes and even better service! I had such a great time at Tanjong Beach Club! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel super welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was chill yet vibrant – perfect for a beachside escape. Foodwise,, the truffle fries were absolutely bomb – crispy, flavourful, and dangerously addictive. The drinks were on point too, refreshing and delicious. But the real star of the show? The sticky date pudding. I could seriously eat it every day – warm, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. The smoked milk ice cream really completed the entire dish !! Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food, great drinks, and amazing hospitality by the beach!

We revisited after the renovation on a weekday mid-March and absolutely love the new look/ Bali vibe! Amazing service and staff. The atmosphere is fantastic, but the food was a letdown. We tried the platter and burger. Hoping for an upgrade on the food, but we’ll definitely be back!

Been going to TBC a few times a year for at least the last 10 years. Newly renovated. Loves the new outdoor seating area. Food portion can be better. A little overpriced for beach snacks. Hopefully there will be a separate menu catered specially for beach-goers and the Chef be more considerate and accommodating to simple requests. And for all the lovely and hardworking staff, hopefully one day they can finally have easy-to-dry, breezy air-weaved v-neck tops in vibrant white color, so it's more cooling for them to continue their excellent service while sweating under the hot sun.

Lo and behold (ha.), the newly renovated TBC is a significant disappointment compared to what it was. Quantity and quality of daybeds decreased - half the daybeds are entirely exposed to afternoon sun - the umbrella tentages served no purpose. Worst thing is that they can't be moved even upon request. All the guests ended up standing behind the daybeds. Layout of daybed is worse off as you're stacked facing other daybeds instead of the seaview. Towel - $6 charge per towel rental is tremendously disappointing especially given the high minimum spend. Quality of food and drinks and the service were the saving grace. But flies were a constant annoyance. TBC has shifted towards a more family friendly setting too - I have not seen this many children at a beach club. Nothing good or bad, just an observation.
