The restaurant, which received a Michelin star in 2022, specializes in Osaka teppanyaki cuisine. The space is quite small, and although we were given a private room, it felt cramped and warm. We tried several dishes, including the famous fried noodles, which were unique and very satisfying. I had seared tuna, which was perfectly cooked with a slightly raw center, and it was the highlight for me, while my colleagues enjoyed beef dishes. Another standout was the local Okonomiyaki, a Japanese teppanyaki savory pancake made with a wheat flour batter and various ingredients like cabbage, meat, and seafood, topped with okonomiyaki sauce, aonori, katsuobushi, Japanese mayonnaise, and pickled ginger. The fried fish cake was also delicious! Pairing wine with the meal was a new experience, though the restaurant's unique ordering method was a bit frustrating. We were asked to describe our preferred wines, but many of our choices were unavailable. It was also difficult to enjoy the wine in the cramped room, as we had to wait for the waitress to pour it for us instead of having it left at the table.
