A restaurant in a mall? That would sound like a good place to taste Peruvian food. Quite the opposite! Tanta is quite a good choice to try different dishes from Peruvian Cuisine (whicho, by the way, is among the best in the world).
I tried three different dishes, and they were all really good and the portions are very well served. They also have good options for alcoholic and non-acoholic drinks. Since I´d been drinking pisco the whole week I went for their frui juices, and they were really refreshing.
I cannot speak for all desserts, as I did not have any but one: tres leches - it was quite exquisite as well.
Well, in terms of cost, a meal, with a drink, dessert and coffee cost me BRL 120.00 (AUD 30.00; USD 20.00). Cheap? I would say I would not be able to eat out frequently, but considering the service provided plus the quality and amount of food I had I would it was pretty fair.
Serving staaff is also well-trained, and super friendly. Therefore, when I return to Lima, I will definetely come eat here again.
