The 26 Best Restaurants In Lima - Lima - The Infatuation

"Tanta is easy, homey food with a creative twist. The restaurant that Gastón Acurio and Astrid Gutsche dreamed up has a wide-ranging menu full of reinvented recipes. There are nostalgic birthday chicken sandwiches, causa limeña with tuna just like grandma used to make, and a fancy version with shrimp, plus hearty tacu tacu of rice and beans, and oven-roasted chicken that tastes like Sunday lunch. It’s a spacious, sunlit dining room (the very first is this San Isidro location, but many more now live across Lima) where the coffee machine hums to life at breakfast, and Astrid’s pastries, like chocolate cakes, suspiros de limeña, and alfajores fresh from the oven, promise a sweet afternoon. And if they have turrón de Doña Pepa on offer, don’t miss it." - paola miglio

Tanta is one of my favorite restaurants to eat. The servers were very friendly but she forgot my Pisco Sour! haha. Great vibe and ambiance.

Merary has no business working as a waiter in any dining establishment ever again. It was kind of cold and rainy outside and we asked her if we could move inside. There were clearly a lot of open places. She said she would check but she lied to our faces and never. She brought us our food which was mediocre at best. She treated us like we were an annoyance. I'm not coming back. You shouldn't eat here. Period.

Good Peruvian fancy chain restaurant. Considerate waiters. Good food presentation and multiple-choice menu. I have tried ceviche (there 2 options). It was delicious. Also i recommend you to try their home made lemonade with lemon verbena (🇪🇸. Hierba Luisa). It was very refreshment especially at the summer time. If you want to visit this restaurant at night I would recommend you to go to the terrace on the second flour it has a very good view to the "La Rambla" mall. ( ๑ ❛ ڡ ❛ ๑ )

I had good references for this restaurant, but the food we ordered wasn't so great. The pesto sauce was awfully salty. The ceviche was ok, but for the same price I had better ones. The only good thing was the service.
