Happened to be in the area for a health fair excited to try. Chicken Satay appetizer -- good sized pieces, yay, easy off the stick, yay, chicken by itself had good flavor, but the peanut sauce had no peanut flavor or peauts init it tasted like a jam or dark paste scooped out of a jar. Both the sauce and the diced pickled cucumbers arrived on the platter in small plastic to go containers rather than in small dishes. The chicken yellow curry was very soupy. Familiar flavor was there, the chicken was in ribbons, not chunks. The potatoes and carrots were chunky, even clunky. Rice was extra, arrives cold and a little hard on a plate. The green beans with chicken were okay, spicy, with and an herb like dill but not dill...it had an interesting flavor profile...overall, the food was hearty but pedestrian probably bec its served and presented like nothing special.
Ambiance: tables along window. And large tables in interior easily accommodate large parties. In fact two parties were in the place, they even had a buffet setup for one of them
But high chairs boxes stacked along a wall in plain view, the closed off areawith tables as a barrier, this place was both open yet cluttered. The mustard color on the walls, and the moorish arches make this place feel like a former Mexican restaurant maybe it was. Our menus were ripped along the edges and dirty.
Service was absent but probably bec they seemed shorthanded with the larger parties needing more attention. So no water refills for us.
