Just visited this extremely cozy, and welcoming sushi 🍣 cafe/restaurant yesterday afternoon as a leap year treat and was amazed at how fresh the sashimi was! Not only was the raw fish extremely fresh tasting but the Maki roll I chose (fatty tuna with crunch) was super fresh and clean tasting. I ordered directly from their lunch menu and there are many good choices all very reasonably priced that is served with a beautiful fresh salad 🥗 and one of the best miso soup 🍲 broths I've ever had. I chose a Thai iced tea 🍵 to accompany my Maki and 🍣 lunch Combo. My server was super friendly and kind and extremely attentive. The atmosphere is cheerful and all the plates 🍽 and presentations of food extremely pretty. I can honestly say the raw fish here is some of the freshest I've had in Chicago and I highly recommend everyone come here at lunch if you need to relax and spoil yourself.

Do not let the outside apperance deter you :) I went with my wife for the first time and was hesitant to try from the way it looked from outside. However went in and was packed with people and had great ambience and food. Service was a bit lacking but overall great experience.

At the corner of Sheffield & Wellington, owner Tom has got it going on! Such a cozy atmosphere and phenomenal food and service! I do plan to get the sushi in a takeout pizza box sometime soon, but for today, I enjoyed dining in this super cool spot. From appetizers to dessert, everything was fresh & delicious! Don’t miss this spot!

I choose 8 different rolls with a regular and vegetarian options it's perfect to 4, the fried rice is very tasty... and Everything was so delicious and the delivery service is on time even 10 min earlier. The website is so friendly to order online the delivery or pick-up. The mother Teresa's roll is a vegan option

Incredible sushi! Easily the best quality sushi I've had in Chicago, and the price is very reasonable considering how delicious and well-made everything is. So far, I've tried the T.G.I.F. Roll, Philly roll, sake nigiri, unagi nigiri, crab Rangoon, shishito peppers, asparagus, and chicken katsu entree. All have been AMAZING. The flavor of the shishito peppers and asparagus is light yet flavorful. The crab Rangoon is probably the best I've had in Chicago, other than in Chinatown. The service is great, and the servers are all very kind and insightful. An added bonus: it's BYOB with no corkage fee! This is a perfect spot for a date or to take friends when they're in town. It gets packed during dinner hours, so make a reservation or expect to wait (it's worth it!).

I'm usually not really a fan of Asian food, but I think this place has something for everyone, even picky eaters (like myself haha). It's definitely advertised as a sushi place, but for those who aren't too keen on that, I 100% recommend taking a look at their grill or hot food menu! I got the Sizzling Drunken Noodles, and even though it's not too hot, it gives a nice kick that really amps the flavor level (especially with the variety of vegetables included). The servers were quick and really nice, and they continuously checked up on me and then rest of my party. The food came out very quick, and I definitely recommend coming around 5-6 pm on Wednesday since they're not really busy. What I really enjoyed was the atmosphere, for the lighting and the whole experience was just very pleasant (their music choices were also very fun to listen to). Try it out, please!!!

We wanted to try the viral "sushi-zza" box so we ordered it for takeout the other night and it did not disappoint! (Note: it's only available for pickup or delivery) Ordering online was pretty easy. We ordered 6 individual rolls to share amongst two people and we needed two separate web pages to refer to so we knew what was in reach roll - it doesn't have descriptions when ordering that actual box. The names were creative and fun but you need that extra reference to know what you're getting. They're fantastic at accommodating any allergies! It took about 30 mins for our order to be ready. The restaurant is small and cozy and was packed on a Friday night. In addition to the box, we ordered crab rangoons and gyoza, which I was too excited to eat and forgot to photograph. Everything was delicious! The unique rolls were delicious and different from what we've ever had before. We got 2 Philly rolls, the Skunk, the Poseidon, the Fire Dragon roll, and the Volcano roll. I couldn't choose a favorite but the Poseidon was unlike anything I've ever eaten. You can't go wrong with what you choose but give this place a try! I can't wait to go back.

My kind of spot. Dimly lit, BYOB, fast service. You can call ahead and put your name on the wait list. It smells so good and the sushi is DELICIOUS. I'll be back!

this place is a go to for me when it comes to sushi! My friends & I have come here well over a handful of times. we love the byob concept where we are able to bring our favorite beverages of choice. The service is always great & the servers are super nice & very helpful with questions about the menu. they have a great knowledge on all items on their menu. the tables are a little close to eachother but as expected in a chicago restaurant. overall i love this place so much & will always be returning

I love their menu and feel like they have a great and wide selection to choose from; unique rolls, sushi tacos, and hot foods such as curry and skewers. The fish was really fresh and the food came out fast. The price was not bad either and I left feeling really satisfied. The service was attentive but not too overly friendly or overbearing which was nice. I loved the atmosphere inside too with warm lights yet a comforting dimness to the place. I don't have anything particular negative to say, I feel this is a solid spot for good and unique sushi, and it meets the standard.

I'm so glad I'm back to writing reviews because this place deserves a five-star review! I will always remember and never forget that I said, "This is the best meal I've had in a very long time". High praise? Yes, and absolutely earned and deserved. We had Crab Rangoon, which were quite obviously made in-house. They were simply outstanding! What a great start. Oh.. maybe I should have started with the ambience. This place oozes cool vibes. It's beautiful to look at and the music is fantastically chill. I felt at home. Mark had Basil Fried Rice and raved about it. I had sashimi. It was the most fresh, melt in my mouth, sashimi I've had in a very long time. Lots and lots of yummy sounds emanated from our table. I desperately wanted to try Durian Ice Cream. While it is still on the menu, it is unfortunately not available. I guess I'm not surprised, but I was disappointed. We settled for Mochi, which was palatable. I swore we would return before we left for home. We didn't, but Tanuki Sushi & Grill will be a must for all future visits to Chicago.

A beautiful, quaint yet lively Sushi restaurant. Their viral Sushi-ZZA is a must for a trend, sure, but their sushi overall is superb. Also, the small plates such as the crab rangoon and shrimp Shuman are perfectly bite-sized and tasty treats. The service is great all around. All servers assist if you need it.

My partner and I had a delightful lunch experience at Tanuki today. As we entered, we were greeted by a charming Halloween setup complete with a trick or treat bowl - a fun touch that set a cheerful tone for our meal. The server was swift and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home. Unlike the weekend dinner rush, the lunch crowd was pleasantly sparse, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling cramped. We kicked off our meal with a comforting miso soup that warmed us up on this crisp autumn day. The highlight for me was the exquisite Thai iced tea, which I savored down to the last sip. The flavors were perfectly balanced, making it a must-try. We then indulged in the nigiri - the salmon and unagi were incredibly fresh and burst with flavor. For our mains, I opted for the green curry, a creamy delight with a hint of spice from the green chiles. The combination of tender chicken, crunchy eggplant tempura, and vibrant vegetables made each bite a delight. My partner enjoyed the pad Thai, which was equally satisfying. To top it off, we couldn't resist stopping next door at the neighboring cafe for a loaf of tomato bread and some chocolate truffles - a perfect ending to a wonderful meal at Tanuki. This place never disappoints! If you're in the mood for a fresh, flavorful meal, Tanuki is the place to be. Can't wait to return for another fantastic meal!

Tanuki Sushi & Grill made waves around social media. We read the positive reviews and saw some cool advertisements on this place. On a Thursday, we decided to come here for date night. What a great choice indeed. The food tasted divine. I requested the Drunken noodles with vegetables, and the seaweed salad. Joseph ordered the White Castle sushi, and some other delicious items. Needless to say, we quickly became fans. The music matched the vibe at Tanuki Sushi - cool and artsy. The atmosphere felt relaxed. The customers came across as being stylish. I felt comfortable sitting, eating the amazing food, and watching people pass by. The seating area extended over to the sidewalk. This allowed the pet owners to bring their pets to dine with them. The service rates an A+. The staff pays close attention to details. I do like Come to Tanuki Sushi & Grill. Bring friends, dates, or family.

This place was everything I wanted. I was in town for the weekend and I told my friend I wanted sushi before the night out. Well he told me about this place and was like this and a movie it is. We didn't end up going but we order for delivery Instead which I mean for sushi is risky sometimes am I right. Well this place 100 percent showed out. We ordered the sushi pizza and O.M.G. Everything we ordered was amazing. Now I wish I could tell you just what we ordered but it's all a blur. A blur of pure joy. If you are in the area please go and try a roll or two, or if you are hungry as we were get the sushi pizza. Literally 10 out of 10 I'll be ordering again when I get back up to Chicago

Awesome neighborhood place for dine-in or take-out! Would highly recommend a reservation if you're eating in, the wait can be really long especially on the weekend, and there's nowhere inside to stand and wait. The restaurant is BYOB, but they've been happy to provide us with wine chillers whenever we bring our own bottle. Honestly, you end up saving a LOT of money bringing your own drinks rather than purchasing from the restaurant. The space is super cramped, but otherwise a nice vibe. They have an extensive menu with lots of different things to try. They are also one of my take-out go-to's because they offer 10% off all take-out orders and have some really good free items once you spend a certain amount. Fun place, definitely worth a try!

Pretty quaint and chill spot. Nice decor with warm tones. Outdoor seating. The chef crew can been seen working diligently in the semi open kitchen. Service was fast and friendly with easy online menus and ordering. Everybody comes here for the sushi in a pizza box. That's too much food for me personally. I got a White Castle roll, some yakitori skewers. I mean everything was great. Their menu is pretty extensive with a myriad of options. Pretty of offerings for all dietary needs. I mean seriously it's pretty long and looks really good. I wanna try the rest. I'm hungry now. Work is over. I'm gonna go do that, you should too! It's tasty!

Arriving in Chicago late night for some apartment hunting, I stopped in Tanuki Sushi with my boyfriend for some late night dinner. I had seen the sushi-zzz box on social media and was excited to try it out (even if we weren't getting the sushi-zza). Unaware that the restaurant was BYOB, we stuck with waters and jumped straight into ordering. The soft shell crab ponzu was a delicious experience into soft shell crab for us (usually we order it in a roll instead of on its own). We each ordered a spicy tuna nori taco which were good but not great and definitely overpriced in our opinion. I cannot remember the name of the rolls we ordered but again, they were good but not the best sushi I've had in the midwest (it's unfair to compare it to Seattle sushi IMO). The rolls were very filling though and we were stuffed by the end of the appetizers and 2 rolls, feeling that overall the experience was fairly priced. The service was also speedy and great, even if the restaurant was a little cramped in the 2 person table section.

Let's just say I am heavily influenced by social media. I saw that they recently now offer a sushi-zza box (sushi in a pizza box) for takeout or delivery only! I love the idea so of course I bought it! When you order online, if you spend more than $20, $40, or $60 you qualify for select menu items for free!! So since my order was more than $60, I got veggie pad see ew for free! It was definitely alot of food since I ordered for just me and my boyfriend HAHA so the sushi-zza is perfect for sharing with friends. Sushi-zza: You can choose a minimum of 6 & a max of 8 rolls for the box. Every single roll I got was fire! The rolls I got were fire dragon, volcano, grisly godzilla, king komodo, notorious, and super sweet potato. Their selection of sushi is pretty wide and unique, it was hard choosing which to try. Definitely a unique experience! Veggie pad see ew: This was delicious! The veggies included are shredded carrots, bell peppers, and broccoli. Big portion too and it tasted even better that it was FREE.

I ordered pickup and the food was great, but there is something to be said about the service. This place would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the rude hostess. First, the good: I ordered the spicy miso soup and the Hawaiian fried rice. Both had great flavor. The spicy miso soup is actually pretty spicy so be warned if you're sensitive to spice. The rice was seasoned well, moist, full of veggies, and had large shrimps and pieces of chicken. The bad: I arrived at Tanuki approximately 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled pickup time due to a blunder on my part. The hostess told me she couldn't do anything to speed up my food, which I acknowledged. I was waiting patiently for my food when she told me I couldn't stand by the door because I was blocking the entrance. I then asked her where I could wait and she just looked extremely pissed off and walked away. She did bring me my food about 20 mins early, but her attitude was terrible, and she could have offered another place to wait. I would not have minded waiting in another spot. She couldn't wait for me to leave.

Got takeout from Tanuki's and took it to North Ave beach for a sunset sushi picnic. Tanuki's is trending on Tik Tok for their sushi pizza box, and it's working bc the sushi is mid and I already knew that and here I am indulging in the trend. You can fit 6-8 rolls in a box. I just got a rainbow roll, Hannah got the Climax roll and it was good, but I've had better sushi like AO in Wilmette or Sushi Kushi in Lake Forest. I have YET to find a sushi place in the city that I absolutely crave for so if you have a suggestion please drop it down below. If you want have some aesthetic pictures, Tanuki's pizza box fits the bill. They're able to make any of their signature maki gluten free, but that means removing a ton of ingredients. Even their spicy Mayo isn't gluten free which led me to bringing my own bottle of coconut aminos to the beach. Rainbow Roll - 7/10

Ordered the popular sushi in a pizza takeout box! Ordered a variety of 7 rolls in the box! See screenshot for exact names, but the three king was my personal favorite with 3 different kinds of fresh fish :) The black and red fish roe sprinkled on the rolls were particularly yummy usually those have no taste and are bad quality but Tanuki sourced a good one! Each roll also had distinct flavors, which is great compared to other rolls that have too similar texture/sauces so you can't tell them apart. Appreciated the creativity with each roll at Tanuki. Would definitely come again

We ordered from Tanuki to get the pizza box of sushi rolls that we saw advertised online. You get an option of 6-8 rolls to-go for the pizza box and it was delicious! We ordered the Philly, Climax, Boston, Asparagus Maki, Avocado Maki, Spicy Shrimp. The ginger on the side was very good and they give you plenty of soy sauce with your order. We ordered online and our food was made very quickly! I will be returning.

Ordered carry out for a group of 5 and it did not disappoint! I had the spider and dragon roll and the portion was great. Sushi had a great taste a well. My only complaint is that the rolls were served together so it was a bit confusing to differentiate which was which. We also ordered the pad thai, curry and drunken noodles. Very generous portions. I'd usually take a picture of the food but we were so hungry that I couldn't get one in! With every order you also get a free item, so we got the shrimp tempura. Clearly super fresh ingredients. The atmosphere in the restaurant seemed very cozy and welcoming so I would love to come back and dine in! A must try for sushi!

Of course had to try the viral pizza box sushi!! The sushi itself was actually very good and wrapped nicely. We got all different types of rolls from tuna, eel, sweet potato. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the sweet potato roll was! Also super fun experience getting the sushi in a pizza box. Prices were a little high, but makes sense. I would return!

They have $13 nigiri lunch sets ("Sushi A" for 3 nigiris + roll & miso soup) or silver, gold, platinum nigiris & sashimi sets $25-33 for 6-9 nigiris + rolls & makis Nigiris are often salmon, tuna, torched salmon, Hamachi, white tuna, etc. I usually get an extra ikura for $5 Such a great deal in a PRIME location. Try their homemade spicy miso soup for $0.5 more. Seriously, packed with tofu, seaweed,crispy garlic g mushroom too

Got carry out from here and this is some of the best Japanese food in the city. I got the chicken teriyaki and some sushi. The food delivers really well and I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

A very cute to-go experience with the sushi pizza box. Our group ordered 8 rolls and with different dietary restrictions and preferences, there were plenty of options for everyone, which I really liked! I also found that the rolls were very reasonably priced and comparable to other sushi restaurants in the city.

I was in town for a concert and my friend from Chicago recommended Tanuki for some sushi, and it was delicious! Between the three of us, we each paid about $23 for our meal (mine was a specialty sushi roll, a part of the salmon aloha & some edamame) - which I thought was reasonable for what we ordered. I started with the Salmon Aloha and fell in love with this little appetizer. I split my crispy rice ball in half and spooned on some spicy salmon with the veggie spirals and it was absolutely delicious - if I come here again it's a must-order. I ordered the Atlantic Monkey roll, which had salmon, avocado, mango - dipped in tempura crunch and drizzled with spicy Mayo and unagi sauce, topped with almonds. I absolutely loved everything about this roll except for the tempura crunch - I wish it had just been seaweed and sesame seeds since I didn't like the texture of the little crumbs. Finally, we got some free edamame with our order! I thought the edamame was a bit mushy to my liking, but it wasn't terrible. Overall, if I'm back here and craving sushi - I would go again!

Love Tanuki! this was the first time I dined in and it was long overdue. I got the tanuki salad and the dragon queen roll. although it's kind of pricey, the rolls are huge and so filling. salad was bigger than I expected! dressing was delicious. service was quick and friendly. such a great place for a casual dinner or even a date! perfect neighborhood spot.

We placed an order for pickup our order included gyoza, crab rangoon, the fire dragon roll, and the sushi zza box (specialty pizza box). The food was delicious, perfectly rolled sushi, and great flavors. We were given some very small sauces on the side and were told for each extra it would be $3. I just feel with an order of that size and price we shouldn't have had to pay the $3 per sauce. It's a lot of food for two people but well worth the price. I do think they should add a list of each roll that they have in the pizza box so we know what to order next time. I definitely recommend and would go back. The two rolls I liked the least are the two at the end that are vibrant green. Everything else I would highly recommend especially the one topped with coconut.

I have eaten on the patio and gotten take-out from Tanuki, and I really appreciate having it in the neighborhood! Pros: - Amazing service/great employees! - Awesome menu with variety and reasonable prices - Lunch specials are great. - Take out is fresh and packaged well. - Poké is unique but fresh and amazing! Hard to find in the Midwest. Cons: - Chef's choice-type rolls are very basic/simple in their specials. - Hell's pitch tuna crunch was NOT spicy. Overall, will be back but wouldn't order the specials with chef's choice rolls, and will try more of the menu.

Came back to Chicago one year later and couldn't leave without stopping at Tanuki. My experience was still a strong 10/10! My best friend and I were walkins and thankfully got very lucky and were able to get seated right away. Only one table left! Every other table both inside and outside were completely taken. It is VERY tight, not much space and you can hear your neighbors conversation, but it is what it is. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We ordered the rib eye, salmon aloha, Hokkaido crazy roll and also received a free bite of the day through Yelp, which was fried imitation crab. EVERYTHING was delicious!! This time my two favorites were the fried crab we got for free and the Hokkaido crazy. Everything is honestly so fresh and full of flavor! Love, love, love this place!!

The pizza box take out sushi is a fun experience for a group. I think the rolls could have more fish, and maybe more sauce too. I thought the fire dragon roll and spider roll were really good.

Loved this BYOB sushi spot! Delicious rolls with a lot of options. We brought our own saki and they gave us the cutest little glasses for it. Would recommend!

Take out review: Decent sushi for a decent price. Their regular rolls were filling and had just enough fish to keep me satisfied. Their specialty rolls were $20+ so even though it was delicious... not tryna break the bank here. I'd highly recommend the salmon and avoado rolls and the unagi. Although I have a soft spot for those... Food: 7/10 Value: 5/10

Let me start by saying that this place is TINY, you need reservations for sure. They are BYOB and there's a market across the street to grab some wine. The sushi selection is huge and very tasty. I don't even remember the exact rolls that we got but I just know it was very hard to pick. We originally came for the Sushi pizza box but looks like it's only carry out/delivery. Still left full and satisfied for sure though

Tried the viral sushi-zza box. I appreciated that they delivered on time per their estimate. The box is so cute it even says delicious pizza on it. We also tried the tempura, crab Rangoon and gyoza. The warm apps arrived lukewarm so we put them in the air fryer. Overall the avenger roll was our favorite. The others were good, but overpriced IMO. I would order again but not the sushi-zza box

Wow, I have no idea why I hadn't tried this place sooner, since it's so close to us. Their sushi, sashimi, and robata are all great, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying some other hot dishes. Everything coming out of the kitchen is a work of art; just look at my photos. That's the prettiest carpaccio I've ever seen. The seared shishito peppers were also the best I've had, doused in a very light, slightly sweet sauce to counteract the moderate heat. Tuna tartare was a nice, summery take on the dish with lots of pineapple bits mixed in. The salmon skin roll was also the best I've had anywhere, a delightful combination of crunchy and creamy. Service was great (we went at a weird time, so it was not at all busy, but still, it was great). It's BYOB. If their wine glasses are like their water jars, you may want to BYOG, too!

Everything on the menu is delicious. My friends & I love ordering the sushi pizza box for nights in!! Also love bringing out of town visitors here, it's always a hit. Drunken noodles are also a fave.

Tanuki was good, but it wasn't the most amazing sushi joint I had been to. Many of you will disagree and that's okay, I can only speak for my experience there. The service was great as they sat us early for our reservations. One can appreciate it as they were very busy, but we still got accommodated. It is not a very big place so the tables are close to each other. I am sorry but I don't want to listen to the table next to me. I am sure they dont care to listen to my conversation either. Don't get me wrong, I dont mind being close to people. After covid, I miss humanity, but there was less than a foot distance from the tables around us. Our elbows were practically kissing. We ordered a lot, as you can tell, and most of the rolls were great and tasted fresh but again nothing out of ordinary. Their breaded veggie dish was great as well. The greens and tofu soup may have been the grossest thing I have ever eaten. I will return, but I will wait a bit before I do.

Don't be fooled by the exterior. When I walked inside I was immediately tranquilized by the relaxed atmosphere. Melodic tunes reverberated throughout the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp tempura and maki called Sex on North Beach that didn't disappoint. The staff was also friendly and attentive. Did I mention that Tanuki is also a BYOB? So, bring your favorite mocktail or cocktail and enjoy!

Hubby and I came to the city for some sushi and gave Tanuki a try. O my gosh I am sooo glad we did. Everything we ate was delicious... everything. I want to say my favorite was the tori tori. Service was fantastic, so friendly and very helpful with the huge menu. No paper menu here. Little blocks with QR codes are waiting on the table for you to scan to view the menu. Be sure to bring you favorite wine this is a BYOB. Restaurant is small and cozy, tables are very close but that was not an issue for us. The door leading in is a little tight. Ask for a table away from the entrance if you call for a reservation. We will most definitely be back! Be sure to check in on Yelp when you arrive for a free bite!

It does get pricey, I would definitely say you need at least five people that want to eat the pizza box sushi. It took us three days and we only had three people. It is a lot. I would stick with the classics, the more fancy ones aren't very good.

Came here for dinner last night. We had a great time at the restaurant! It was rather small, so I had a reservation and they sat us quickly but I could also see that if you don't have a reservation, it would be hard to get in. We started off with some shumai which was pretty good and then we got four rolls. Between two people four rolls was a lot and usually I am a large sushi orderer. These were massive though, and we brought home a lot. This is a great date spot and a super fun atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

We were in town for a concert and wanted to find a restaurant to eat at before we head over to the venue. Tanuki popped up when we wanted to make reservations through Open Table and we were glad to check it out. The restaurant is super cute with wooden furnishings all around. It was a cozy space where you can enjoy a meal with a loved one, family, and friends. The waiters and waitresses were incredibly attentive, which I appreciate. We ordered a Sex on the North Beach and Three Kings rolls, the bacon scallop and pork shoulder robata, and got a free gyoza small bites from checking in on Yelp. The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Each table also got a coupon for the next visit, which I wish I could've used but too bad we were just visiting! The wait for the food was a bit long, which I didn't mind much because we booked an early time, but keep that in mind if you wanted to eat here but have an appointment that you have to make after! I took off one star because it was kind of pricy and the portions weren't huge, but I'm glad to have supported a local restaurant. I hope to try the fresh sushi they have the next time I'm in town.

Went to Tanuki on a whim with my friend and we both had a great time! It was a bit busy, however, was still amazing! It is BYOB, so if you want to grab a drink, do it before. The service was great, even though they were swamped with orders and such. The Salmon Aloha and Tuna Tartare were our apps and they were amazing. Everything was so fresh and absolutely amazing! We also got two sushi rolls which were fantastic! I highly recommend checking out this place and stopping in!

After years of looking for a go-to sushi spot, we took a hint from dozens of enthusiastic Yelp reviewers and tried Tanuki. Our search is over! We've now dined here twice. We've enjoyed wonderfully fresh sashimi and imaginative, delicious rolls. The service is excellent and we really appreciate BYOB and no corkage fees. Did I mention Tanuki also takes reservations?

I was heading home and along the way I saw Tanuki, the time was around 4pm and I had a taste for a light snack so I stopped in. There were 2 tables in there already and I had no RSVP and hoped I did not require any at this time. I ordered a sashimi plate with three signature rolls of Atlantic Monkey (Salmon, mango and slices of almond), Inferno (Salmon skin, Smoked salmon ) and Rampage (White tuna, truffle oil) - All three rolls were nicely prepared and tasted good. Average price each was around $15. I also tried the Pad Thai which was good but thought the portions were an the light side for $13. Overall I enjoyed my time here and would come back for more during these Corvid days. Parking is available on the street.

A week ago I walked by with my wife and she wanted to eat there and I was like "meh" and then last night I decided to go there for our date night. WOW. So glad I did. I don't know why I misjudged the place but it's exceptional. I can't believe how friendly the staff is there. The sushi/sashimi. It's FRESH. SO GOOD. we sat on the patio and it started raining and they brought us inside and the atmosphere was GREAT. I had no idea Service. Food. Atmosphere. Exceptional
