Tanz Kitchen never misses!! Can’t believe I didn’t know about their shop. I’ve always bought off them at the markets. Their food is always so good and consistent!! Must try!!!

Seen lots of good tik tok reviews , i live 40mins away so food was still nice and warm by the time i got home, raw fish was my favourite👌🤌 didnt even need to add lemon in, lots of fish and all the veg was distributed evenly to match the fish. Very big portions too for the large steak on rice with chop suey and potato salad lots of meat, ik the chop suey too. Customer service was great too, easy to order and welcoming . They ran out of donuts and pork but will DEFINITELY go in earlier next time. To try these ☺️ thank you

Ordered the $18 meal from Tanz kitchen at the night market. This plate came with steak pieces in mushroom sauce, chop suey, rice and pink potato salad. The mushroom sauce and pink potato salad tasted good. The steak pieces were however a bit on the chewy side. I was disappointed with the chop suey, my plate only had two pieces of small meat in it and the rest were vermicelli. Overall, disappointed as $18 is quite a lot and there was barely any meat in the chop suey. The rice only went well with the chop suey too, so in the end the only thing we really ate was the pink potato salad and steak pieces.

This place was recommended by a colleague. The donuts and it's quality was disappointing I should've just brought 2, the market plate was tasty but not enough mushroom sauce and i believe the mushroom sauce is supposed to be the start of the dish but not enough 🥴 I brought two of their dessert🤗 oh my goodness I will probably just buy the dessert next time,the pudding and custard is so yummy and delicious I should've brought more, the poke was good.The comments on the website exceeded my expectations however I'm filled with disappointment 😔

Tanz kitchen have downgraded. They use to have the best plates but now they have put the prices up & the portions have gotten smaller. Please Make it make sense. Everything just tastes bland & the steak is chewy at least put some love in to it. Hopefully they read the reviews from their customers & see what they need improvement on.

We love the pork island plate! I wish they focused on cooking more pork and just forgot about the steak lol cause the steak meal is nothing at all compared to the pork plates. Steak was super dry and just not really enjoyable. We love their raw fish and potato salad. Their chop suey is nice too, most the times. Overall, we will always come here every now and then, specifically for the pork plates, bag of donuts and extra potato!

Ordered the Market Plate with bag of donuts and a steak and mushroom roll. Very nice overall and very good value for money. Service was friendly. The steak was a little tough but that's just how the island style steaks are made. The roll bun was warmed, making a steam bun texture which was nice and with the creamy mushroom sauce. Donuts were warm and tasty. A very nice place if you need that island food fix particularly Cook Island style. Highly recommend to try.

Wow, when you have travelled thru the Middle East, and come home to get some Cook Island comfort food, yet don’t want to cook it. Tanz Kitchen is the place to get your Fix. Customer service was good, yet the food was big back goodness.🥳🥰. ( IYKYK Big Back🫣🤭😅) This place hits the spot with your cook island comfort food feed, to where you just want to sleep afterwards.🤭😅. We had the Large Market place combo. - steak and mushroom sauce - Rice - cook island minus - beef chop suey With extra 1x Raw fish and 2x donuts. All made with that Island Love that you get when you go home for Christmas. *Sorry no pictures of how big the portions are, but you’re in South Auckland so you know the portions are islander portion size🤭.
