Staff were not well versed with the ala carte dishes, when Qs were asked, she need to check with her colleague. It’s just a simple what is the Barbeque Combination Platter consists of and I was guessing it’s toasted duck and roasted chicken but she walked away to check for me. Menu also didn’t not describe what this dish consists of. It’s > RM100 for this dish, you don’t expect us to just order without any information. Fried rice is chef’s recommendation but I wouldn’t recommend. Extremely salty. Four types of braised vegetables with fish broth didn’t seems to have four types of vegetables. Everything else were prepared almost to perfection and we really loved everything served. We brought our own Oolong Tea and was charged RM10 for 2 pax hot water. We really had the most sumptuous lunch today. Yums. Will come again.

Overall experience is good except the food served at TAO YUM CHA is just good for 3-stars and below. One time is enough though. This is a HALAL restaurant and online booking has a 30% offer till end of Mar 2025.

Came here for a one night only wine pairing dinner. Place was stunning and elegant. Service was tip top. This is the first time I savour Chinese fine dining and paired with unique variety of wine The collaboration between Tao and sommelier Dibin Chin was magnificent. Dishes prepared by Executive Chef Tommy Choong was amazing. Top of it's class. Really enjoyed all 7 dishes curated by the chef himself. A memorable night to remember dining here!

Returning to Tao Chinese Cuisine felt like stepping back into one of our most cherished memories. It was here,surrounded by the restaurant’s elegant ambiance that we celebrated our tea ceremony last year. We were delighted to find that the food remained as exceptional as ever.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated with traditional red and gold accents, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The Chinese New Year special menu showcased a curated selection of authentic dishes, each expertly prepared and presented. From the auspicious symbolism of the Yu Sheng salad to the rich flavors of the Peking duck, every dish reflected the culinary excellence that Tao Chinese Cuisine is known for. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff members adding to the overall positive dining experience. The roasted chicken is tasty with crispy skin. Fried chee cheong fun is nice and goes perfect with their sambal. Fried brinjal, seafood noodle and the richman Fried rice should not be missed too. Only the minced meat tofu and fish broth taste average. Good service and comfortable ambience. Mostly good except the price is pretty high. Nevertheless, a pleasant dining experience

Was here with friends for their yum cha weekday all your can eat. Can pre-purchase the buffet voucher online and make reservation via WhatsApp. I like the ambience and time given for us to try different dishes. The staffs are friendly and attentive too. Personally, I love all the different prawn dishes (with butter oat / with salted egg yolk / with king soy sauce), yang chow fried rice and stir fried asparagus (super fresh and juicy). Oh ya and that crispy prawn dumpling that full of prawns filling (like the largest amount of prawns that I've ever tasted. As you know, some are just wrapped with wee prawn portion + air). The down side is that if we're in a table of 4, they will serve dishes that are meant for 4, which is huge for us who wanted to try on different food. I have asked, but too bad this is set as their standard. Imagine if you're not a fish lover but would love to try their fish dishes. Eventually you have to eat a lot of pieces, even thought it taste fine.

Came here to enjoy some dim sum, and was not disappointed. There menu is pretty robust, featuring an array of seafood to beef and everything in between. Got here as soon as they opened up and was the first to be seated, Wednesday afternoon, for lunch. We ordered the soup of the day, some fried rice, a few orders of different types of dim sum, and roast duck on the side. The order we placed came in no particular order, with the rice coming out in the middle of it all, which leads me to suspect that they were not ready for us. As we finished up lunch more patrons started to arrive and the place filled up quickly. All in all the food was great, and service was pleasant, and I got exactly what I wanted.
