"The third-generation owner still makes Peking duck the way his grandpa did over 50 years ago. Antibiotic-free Muscovy ducks from Yilan County are kept 100 days more than their counterparts for extra fattiness. Delivered daily and air-dried for a day to crisp up the skin before roasting in a wood oven, each duck is carved into 36 pieces and served with flatbread. Don’t miss the made-to-order pan-fried shredded radish dumplings with a soupy filling." - Michelin Inspector

The staff were very nice in letting us in without a reservation despite being very busy! However, the food overall was not the best. Free Starter - very delicious and with a brilliant tangy flavour (the best thing that we ate) Peking Duck - when the duck was first cut it looked very juice and succulent, however, when we tried it, the meat was extremely tough, flavourless and dry - you have to have it with the sauce. When you bite into the duck, you really had to tear and chew through it. The pancake itself was fine (nice and thin) Spring Onion Pancake - extremely doughy and thick with the ratio between dough and spring onions being extremely skewed to the dough side Duck Bone Soup and Pickled Vegetables - nice and flavourful and not too oily (probably one of the better things on the menu) Shrimp Fried Rice - shrimp was cooked very nicely and the flavours were amazing however, the rice in general was quite oily and overall eating it felt heavy and greasy

Came here for the duck and wow was it good. They carve it table side and also used the bones to make a soup. We order several sides including, scallion pancakes, stinky tofu, watercress, fried radish buns, and a ton more. The service was very professional, fast and friendly. Would definitely come back here for more duck!

This is another relic that seemed to be falling behind in time. An old restaurant with Michelin starred Peking Duck that caters to the older generation of Taipei residents. My brother loved this place’s duck and insisted that I try them. Since I am not accustomed to Taiwan styled Peking Duck, I wasn’t too excited. The duck itself was average, but huge, and probably deserved a 4-5* in Taiwan, but in Beijing, this would be a 2* (sorry for being so harsh). The skin was way too tough and the meat was sliced way too thick. The crepe was very thick and hard. Of course, this may be the preferred taste here in Taiwan, but for me I will pass on it. It’s braised wheat gluten烤麩was pretty bad, so avoid that item all together. The duck bone soup was really good, though, as well as its vegetable dishes. The service was friendly and decent. The dinning area has seen better days back in 1985. The location was good, only a few steps from the Nanking-Fushing Metro station. It’s located on the second floor, so keep your eyes for its sign.

Trying out this pretty old school Taiwanese restaurant, the dishes are mostly pretty good. What I enjoyed most was the Peking duck, at first it looks soft, but it was actually really crispy and flavourful. Sweet sour pork was also really quite nice. Service is quite okay, staff were busy but could handle our requests. Will visit again next time.

The roasted duck was enjoyable. I found the service lacking, and the overall cleanliness didn’t meet my expectations.

This restaurant's claim to fame is the peking duck. They carve up the duck at table side for added entertainment. However, i do wish they wore gloves instead of touching each piece of duck barehanded. As for the duck - honestly, I've had better Peking duck but it wasn't bad. The meat isnt as tender here but the skin was nice and crispy. You need the sauce or it will taste bland. The sauce here is also more savory. I've had other sauces that were more sweet/savory mix. Their other dishes were good as well. Service was very good. The location is on the second floor so it's very easy to miss it.

Amazing roasted duck. Even the other dishes are delicious. The duck soup made from your own roasted duck and also very delicious.

Famous local restaurant for Chinese food. Special dish will be Peking Duck. 1600 TWD for the whole duck, suitable for 3-4. Need to come before closing time at least 1 hour to order Peking Duck. Most of their customers are local & the atmosphere here is so great & warm! Can accept the credit card for payment (Visa/Mastercard) Highly recommended to experience local traditional Chinese food.
