W were at a conference nearby and we stopped in for lunch, they were very busy but handled it well. The food was fantastic. Calamari was firm, not chewy and the bed of cole slaw it sat in was awesome. I had a burger (amazing) and my wife had grilled chicken avacado salad, both excellent. Good food, great service. We will be back!

Great bar, delicious food, wonderful local friendly atmosphere. On your own, then sit at the bar counter and take in the action. Don't forget to chat with your "neighbours" I had an excellent blond bear and delicious crispy chicken pieces with coleslaw and fries. A very generous portion for an entrée. There is plenty of near by parking making this an ideal place to visit when your are in the Boca Raton area. ....and remember they have happy hour too!

🍴Food Delivery Review🍴 My boyfriend and I were struggling to find something that interested us on DD for dinner. A few hours later, he decided on this place. We ordered the Wagyu Steak & Noodle Bowl; Crispy Asian Calamari Tower; and a Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs with a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Mm-mm-mmm! It was all very tasty and the meat was especially cooked well - very tender. We were extremely satisfied with our order.

A long time favorite. Wonderful atmosphere with plenty of indoor, outdoor, and bar seating (both indoor and outdoor as well). Architecture is a nice mix of rustic and sleek with high ceilings and tons of natural lighting as well as mood lighting for the evenings. Beyond happy with: Crispy Calamari, Short Rib Beef Sliders, Shrimp Cocktail, Chopped Salad, Tuna Poke Salad, and The Drunken Goat. Service has always been great with fun loving bartenders. Definitely a go to for me!

We ordered the prohibition burger and fries. The burgers were exactly as ordered...done medium well with crispy bacon. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted. Although, my husband thought they were too salty. The music was a touch too loud for a lunch crowd. Even my daughter commented on the level. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Enjoyable! We will be back.

Amazing lunch today! From the second we sat down all the way till we left Kassidee made my wife and I feel like the only ones in the restaurant. She was so great to us! She recommended us some delicious food options, the Chicken Caesar wrap and the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls. She also mentioned 2 new drinks that had recently been added to the menu. We decided to try the new Frozen Watermelon margarita and man did my wife love it. Overall, amazing drinks and entrees, as well as a great atmosphere to the entire restaurant. We will definitely be coming back, thank you for having us Tap 42!

My experience here at Tap 42 in Boca was beyond amazing. My Sever named Anthony, such an amazing soul & outstanding customer service. This was one of my favorite side dish that I ordered, which was the loaded mash potatoes. Definitely recommend coming here the atmosphere is phenomenal.

A huge shoutout to Isabelle, she was absolutely fantastic! Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness made our dining experience so enjoyable. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Truly went above and beyond!".

I never write reviews but was so impressed with ALL the staff that we came in contact with. from the hostess who went out of her to get us the perfect spot, changed the channel so I could watch our game and was nice and personable. To the wait staff who were also nice and personable AND supported each other so that we weren't waiting. Great atmosphere good food. Great job everyone!

I have eaten here twice now and both times the food was great. We got burgers which were cooked perfectly, seasoned great, and had amazing toppings as well. I got the drunken goat burger that has red onions, goat cheese, and a delicious Abita raspberry jam on it. The burger was large and more than I could eat and came with fries. The place is fairly casual, but everyone was still dressed nicely, and there's a bunch of TVs throughout playing sports. The service was great. Our waitress constantly checked on us and refilled our waters throughout. Parking was a bit difficult. I came in the middle of the day during the week and the entirely parking lot was full. Make sure to give yourself some time to find parking, especially during lunch and dinner hours.

I was out with old friends, so I really wanted to like this place but sadly their downfall was entirely self-written... - The ambiance was quiet when we ambled in after a movie, not a lot of people outside or in, so we bellied up to the bar. - If you're going to name your restaurant Tap 42, and if you're going to proclaim yourself a craft beer destination, being out of the first two beers we named and having at least 6 empty taps showing was a bad start. - Eventually, libations in hand we checked out the menu and ordered a couple of snacks. Big mistake. * The beauty of a well done tuna tartare is the simplicity. The beautiful colors highlighting the clean fresh taste of tuna. Even when "spicy" is added to the title, tuna remains the star of the show. Not so here, as we were served a softball scoop (there is no other word) of something that no longer resembled tuna OR tartare. So much spicy mayo was mixed in that the tuna taste was nowhere to be found, and served with malanga chips so stale we had to tear them rather than break them into dipping size. * The Calamari fared no better, encrusted with a thick tasteless breading, and cooked well past the point of flavorless rubber. At least its sauce was good. The ONLY reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 was our bartender and server Gabriel, a shining light who deserves better support than the restaurant offered him this night. Friendly, personable, and constantly in motion behind the bar helping everyone but still managing to make sure he checked on us.

We did an Uber Eats splurge tonight. An honest review: Everything was packed carefully, arrived hot, and earlier than expected. Smash burger: amazing flavor, could have taken it off the heat earlier, but so good! Chicken tender platter: ok but I've had better. Full rack of ribs: so good. Perfectly cooked. Great sauce. Salmon crispy rice: blah. Calamari tower: really good. Crispy. Bomb sauce! Wings: dry, dry, dry. Cheeseburger egg rolls: phenomenal! Truffle fries: normally love these, but sooo overpowering. Would definitely order again but no wings, crispy rice, or tenders.

Heard this place has good chow, so finally stopped here for a drink and a few snacks during their happy hour to check it out. I like it! The place is large, and being off season wasn't too crowded. The drinks we ordered were good. Basically just a few different beers and a margarita. BTW, check out the $29 Millionaire Margarita on the menu... wonder if it's 3 times better? Drinks were very good. The Chicken Tenders were excellent... good sauces too. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls were ok. I liked it enough to come back and have dinner. The staff was friendly and service was very good. So large, can imagine it gets loud and a little crazy when it's busy.

My friend and I dined outside on the patio. We had a small dog with us and the hostess mentioned the dog wasn't allowed on the chair. I informed her that we had a towel for the dog and that she's super small. We ended up putting the dog on the chair and every staff member that walked by absolutely loved it. It ended up not being an issue, but it was a bit of a strange encounter at first. For dinner, we ordered tuna tartar, a chicken Caesar wrap and sweet potato fried. We asked for all the food to come out at the same time, but that didn't happen. It was also really hard to hear because they were blasting music on the patio. The food itself was delicious! We also had good service. If the food wasn't so good, this would've been a three star review.

The grilled salmon zen bowl is amazing! One of my favorite dished ever. So flavorful, love the touch of sweet. Tyler is great to visit! Amazing service, always. Great trendy feel, and catchy music. Can't wait to try the wagyu noodles one of these days!

My wife and I went to Tap 42 one night for dinner while we were staying at the Marriott that's less than a 5min walk away. The ambiance was beautiful and versatile. There was an engagement party or wedding rehearsal dinner outside in the patio area and inside it was nice and cool with the games playing. We waited for about 10mins waiting for a table but it was worth it. Our server was well informed on the drink and food menu and gave some of his personal favorites and I took him up in his recommendations. The chicken and waffles were cooked perfectly. The chicken was well seasoned and the waffle wasn't overly sweet but gave you a good balance. Those wedges were so good and crispy that I couldn't finish all of my food due to eating those wedges first. I can't remember the name of the drink but it was so refreshing and light and it brought the entire meal together. When back in Boca I definitely will be stopping in again. Keep up the great work Tap 42!!!

Nice environment but seriously average food. I had a burger that was ample in size but the meat was flavorless. My wife had a chicken salad option that was fine. I'd come back to drink and snack, but not for serious dinning.

Solid spot for the Happy Hour escapades. We showed up on a Monday at 5pm. The Monday special for $12 burgers caught our eyes. I started it off right with a Dirty Martini w/ bleu-cheese stuffed olives. After the drinks started kicking in, I went with the Drunken Goat -- a savory lamb burger topped with whipped goat cheese, arugula, onion marmalade, and dijonaise. Good burger -- I was less fond of the purple jam raspberry haze spread. I thought the sweetness of the jam clashed with the burger vibe... but you live, you learn. Next time, the Prohibition Burger looks like the solid winner. Great spot to unwind and wander. The calamari looked appetizing.

Tap42 is a solid social gathering spot where the menu is pub grub with some not so pub grub entrees. Parking was tight on a Friday night the week of Christmas but we circled around a few times and found a spot. Valet is also available but I didn't see the price. We ordered the Short rib sliders, 2 burgers, sweet potato fries and the chicken Parmesan rigatoni alla vodka sauce. The service friendly but a little slow. Everyone enjoyed their food. One of the burgers was supposed to be a smash burger but the burger wasn't "smashed" enough for a crispy texture. Overall this spot is a fun hangout with a group of friends and we would come back only if we are in the area.

My favorite place to have Sunday brunch. The food is always great. The drinks are on point. I usually sit at the bar and the bartender is always attentive. There is always a dj playing the best music.

The service is always amazing. The outdoor open bar set up hits the perfect ambiance. The food was 5 star. The chicken parm with the spicy pasta was delish. I come here all the time and this will be my new go-to dish.

The food is delicious and the Lunch 3 course thingy is such a good deal. I got the egg rolls (9/10), the grilled chicken avocado salad (8/10) and the strawberry tres leches (10000/10). The salad could've had a bit more chicken but the dressing was bomb. Our server (sorry forgot her name) was very nice and happy to help, even when my bf asked dumb questions like can he order the dinner deal at 1pm(you cant obviously). We sat outside and it was perf, not too hot even at 1pm towards the end of summer in soflo. WOULD GO AGAIN!

Great spot. Good menu and great service. Hard to decide what to choose as the menu was very good. I chose the Salmon bowl with a side of Brussels and it was amazing. Had the tres leches strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was delicious. Nick was a great server

Came for a baby shower and the food was delicious. Had the calamari for the appetizer and the chicken tenders for lunch with a side salad and everything tasted so good and fresh (given this was a 90 person event)!

Another amazing dinner at Tap 42! It was a Friday night and we didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. Service was amazing! Every bartender was checking in on us...they were all fabulous! My sister ordered the baby back ribs, one of our family's favorites! I had the southern fried chicken salad and we shared the French fries and sweet potatoes fries.

So I try NOT to visit chain restaurants when traveling, but I made an exception and grabbed an outdoor high top at Tap 42. I dropped in about 530p on a Saturday (before the weekend craziness). Four peeps at that front couldn't seem to figure out where I should sit when I requested a high top outdoors. One hostess requested another to seat me--. And menus were dropped. Lost a star here. However, once seated, my server Tori was on it!! Super friendly with a 444 connection. Water, setups...and a smile. The spinach and artichoke dip was very tastey with a strong presence of garlic. Served with salsa and sour cream. Nice shareable appy. Nice drinks. No happy hour on Saturdays. A little pricey. (Spent $100 all in for an appt and 4 drinks) Great ambiance. Fun place to meet friends. And super friendly server!! Will I come back...prob yes!!

I'm a burger guy and when friends suggested going to Tap 42 in Boca on a Monday night for 1/2 price Prohibition burgers, I enthusiastically agreed. And I'm glad I did. We made reservations, which were needed as apparently many other people like a good burger deal. The restaurant has lots of covered outdoor seating and a welcoming vibe. The service was good. It's basically a gastropub with an extensive line-up of draft beer (yes, there really are 42 of them on tap according to our server). Since we arrived during happy hour (weekdays 4:00 - 7:00 pm), on this visit we indulged in some well-priced cocktails rather than the beer. The Prohibition burgers come with cheese, bacon and Tap 42's "secret sauce". Three of us had the burgers and they were all properly cooked per our specifications. I had the fries, which were relatively uninspiring. Our friends had the Caesar salad and the chopped salad, respectively. Both salads were impressively large portions for just a $1 upcharge. We appreciated the server telling us about the small upcharge at the time we ordered so there'd be no surprises when we got the bill. My wife had the spicy rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Although this is normally a side item, she ordered a double portion and made a delicious meal of it. The spiciness was just right and the sauce was quite tasty. The only issue we had was a band playing in the courtyard next to Tap 42 for an event at a nearby restaurant. They were quite loud -- although the music was good -- which virtually eliminated our ability to have a conversation during dinner. Despite the loud band, our overall experience was positive. We'll be back for Prohibition burger Monday: Come for the burgers... stay for the beer (or cocktails)!

We could eat here anytime of the week, we've always gotten great service. The burgers are amazing and the drink selection is huge! We prefer the Boca location over Coral Springs. It's also nice to sit outside when cooler out.

The restaurant I had a reservation for was closed and I chose Tap 42 by default and serendipity led me to an amazing Chicken Parm. I think Tap 42 is known for their burgers and beer and I suppose not much more but I opted for other menu items and the selections were mixed. However I ordered the Chicken Parm and it was surprisingly excellent and among the best I've had in South Florida. The chicken was much better quality than most restaurants and the oil in which it was fried had a cleaner taste and what was thankfully absent was the all too familiar bitter cheap oil taste. Other items were below average with a pretty awful Salmon and Tuna bowl and a dip appetizer that also was not good. The four star rating is because of the excellent Chicken Parm and also the nice and friendly service.

Boca Pub Crawl 3rd stop. This Tap42 location has a great vibe compared to other Tap42 locations. We met with our bartender Jade who was fun and provided us with an Aperol Spritz with a splash of guava. The wife said it was blissful. Her fervent presence and sheer diligence in the preparation of mixed drinks was commendable. Massive outside patio area to relax and mingle. Very clean bathroom too. Wonderful location and we will be back. 4.5 stars easily.

Tap is a great bar and restaurant located in the heart of a shopping center in Boca Raton. It's a very active family friendly scene with plenty to do. The food is really good definitely a step above the ordinary bar food. We had the street corn guacamole OUTSTANDING! Skirt steak comes with amazing plantains also super delicious, and the drink selections are great as well

We went on a Saturday morning right at opening, and the service was great. The French toast was SO good!! We also had the guacamole and chips! They have a good kids menu as well as an outdoor seating area near a kind of courtyard space that is good if you have kids who want to walk around while waiting for food.

I was told this place was good by a few friends, they were correct. The wings personally are my favorite, the bartender can really make some good drinks too. The vibe is cool with rustic and natural lighting around the restaurant. Of course the servers were top notch, really took it as their main priority to make sure you are happy, which I appreciate.

Make a reservation first. I get it it's Saturday and you should always make a reservation any place you can. We're out of town and heard great things about this place so we just headed right over. We get to tap 42 and sit at the bar because it was a hour wait. While we're at the bar there are 7 empty tables inside ... several empty tables outside. We asked the hostess if it's possible to get a table since there were so many empty. They can't, they have to hold an empty table for a hour whether people show up or not! Wild. I get having a reservation is first serve however If there is an abundance you'd think it wouldn't matter. Food was ok and drinks were ok just really disappointing in the whole having to honor a hour wait for a reservation.

It's a me thing but the smell of truffle oil gives me a gag reflex. I've been to 3 Taps and they all smell the same. It's overwhelming to me. The restaurants are also usually warm in the summer. It's semi-open air but dress accordingly. I love a few Tap items that I order in but yesterday between the heat and smell I landed across the way at Rocco's. It wasn't amazing but the AC worked and the offer a Saturday happy hour at 3.

I was shocked by how good this spot was. I thought it was going to be like most boring fast casual but the food was amazing. The calamari in particular was great. The tuna tar tar, and crispy rice salmon was also great. Massive space - would want to come here to watch a football game sometime

Randomly ended up having dinner here after not being able to get into Houston's and I'm SO glad we did. The food & drinks were all fantastic. I thought both the food and drink menu had such a great variety. I don't eat red meat and I got the beyond burger French dip. It was fantastic! I love when restaurants have good vegetarian options. I got the Maui Wowie Margarita, per the recommendation of my waiter, which was incredible. I'm also a huge fan of outdoor dining. Most of the tables here are outside (but covered) which was perfect. And the best for last...the strawberry shortcake tres leches....10/10. Can't wait to come back.

Not the best experience. Besides the mind-numbing acoustics, the waitress sucked! I was with a group of people for a birthday party; we had separate checks. We had a gift card and wanted to buy the Birthday Boy his meal and cocktail, along with my husband's and my drink. We gave the waitress a $100 gift card and told her to keep the change, thinking that was a generous tip, knowing we were with a big party. We left shortly thereafter. Not until the next day, did we find out the waitress did NOT put the Birthday Boy's tab with ours And he had to pay for his own meal and drink. Essentially we spent $100 for 2 drinks! Not Cool! Shady, Shabby waitress. Will never go back again.

Food: ok, but horrendously overpriced, even for town centre, Boca Raton, with one exception: the Tres Leches dessert is aMAzing Service: friendly as always in south Florida, but a bit lackluster in attention to detail, perfunctorily professional Ambiance: nice location, good inside/outside layout, but the tables are low for the chairs (interior chairs are VERY comfortable, though), and there is a weird foul smell permeating (bad cleaning solution, or dirty air ducts? can't tell) Price for quality: again, wayyyy too high Beers: 42 taps, but heavily biased toward big brewers who have purchased local prior "micro" brews, and the most unremarkable offerings from actual locals; also, their "nitro" pump is NOT actually nitro whatsoever, or is in dire need of service

My friend and I went for a Happy Hour and the food, drinks, ambiance and servers were above and beyond our expectations!!! We will definitely be back as regulars! The drinks were over the top! AP and Gabe were amazing !

The food here is SO GOOD. They changed the truffle mac and cheese and it's even better than before. One of the best mac and cheeses iv ever had. The grilled chicken avocado salad was very good too. It wasent drowned in dressing but it had the perfect amount. Had such a great fresh Clintro lime flavor. The dj here on Sundays is great and has such a great selection of songs and played a little bit of everything. If you don't like a loud dj then do not come here, at least on Sundays. The vibe here is just immaculate and the service from the hostess and also the waitress was stellar. Zero complaints. Side note- the bathrooms, at least the women's bathroom, was impeccably clean. The design of the bathroom was a dream with separate stalls with locking doors on each stall with no gaps. I have not one bad thing to say about this establishment.

We've only attempted takeout from Here twice after friends recommended Tap 42 based on in-restaurant experiences. One of our delivery orders was missing the chicken from The chicken lettuce wraps. The second attempt, the bread pudding did not come with any of the sauces or ice cream. Other menu options were decent. Take our service should be improved upon - extra attention to complete orders should be a priority as the restaurant can no longer make it right after the fact.

Tap 42 is one of my go-to restaurants for an early dinner! To start, we ate CRISPY ASIAN CALAMARI TOWER, which is so filling and can be shared between two people. For my main course BBQ Chicken Wings with French Fries-- delicious and well cooked. For a drink, I liked my froze. My husband ordered the New York Strip with mashed potatoes, which was very seasonless and bland. So it was just okay. He also drank a Mango mojito which tasted better than our dinner. Our waiter Jonathan was excellent and attentive. I will definitely return for their bottomless brunch and will skip the steak.

Stopped into Tap 42 and sat at the bar. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was awesome. The manager Holly came over to make sure we were taken care of and was really hands on. We were impressed watching her help the bartenders when the restaurant got busy. Great experience all around!

My parents brought me here for dinner on my trip to visit them. They got the burgers. They enjoyed their burgers as usual! My mom did say the Brussels weren't as crispy as usual but still enjoyable. I had the steak and plantains. It was enjoyable. the service was good. The environment is very loud. It is a pub like sports area so I don't say this as a complaint just more as an awareness comment.

AP is the best! Amazing bartender and service. If you come here please request her. Very hospitable and a great representation of this restaurant!!!

Differentiating between and among sports bars can be a bit of a challenge. Tap 42, in Boca Raton, is a bit different from most. The space is airy and open, and part of the pub is entirely outdoors. There are many seating options - booths, stools and chairs. The food menu is interesting with some "not your usual"options. That said, none of my party was terribly adventurous: The burger, steak sandwich and ribs were all perfectly cooked and tasty. The chicken Lettuce Wraps were quite nice. The brunch drink special was a great option; $30 for unlimited drinks (albeit from a limited menu). The beer list was extensive. Our server, Angie, was wonderful - always on top of everything - without being in our face. My only negative was the "way too loud" music. I suspect if you are under 25, it might be enjoyable. Unfortunately, virtually no one seated inside fit that profile. Overall, it is a nice, attractive venue.

It was ok. Decided to try them out as my Uber eats credit was expiring at the end of the month and I have been wanting to try their Asian calamari since seeing the reviews and pictures posted here. The Asian calamari that everyone is praising was no better than calamari from other places I actually didn't care for the overly sweet soy based sauce. The steak sandwich I ordered rare was well well done with no pink left at all. Some salmon appetizer was ok, it in my opinion was also overcooked. I have never been there so maybe they don't do complementary bread but of all the American restaurants I got a take out from this is the only place that didn't give me complementary bread with my order.

My husband and I wanted to have a nice romantic dinner on a Thursday night. Instead, we got noisy birds and loud happy hour patrons. Not exactly the ambiance we were seeking. Fortunately, the food tasted good. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was plentiful and tasty. For entrees, we opted for the fried chicken salad and the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken on both dishes was very good.

So when we first arrived the service we received from the host horrible!!! But Nadine the waitress she picked up that slack for them right away. She was very friendly asked us if it was our first time and it was. So she explained a little about the drink menu their are called tap42 because they have 42 different beers on tap (something like that lol). So that was pretty cool because I never would have guessed that. We did a couple appetizers which were amazing. The truffle Mac and cheese I could not stop eating til it was finished. The chicken wings really really good loves the way the cook them. For me it was a little pricey but very nice place.

This place has always delivered. Went here last night and didn't realize it was going to turn into my birthday celebration as well. But our server Brooke was amazing and the food as always was out of this work. The apps were so yummy. The Lamb burger was perfect and flavorful. We had the truffle fries and they had so much flavor and such a good size order they rocked. The salads and the steak wrap hit the spot. Had 8 of us and we all shared the food and it was amazing!!! Thank you for the wonderful evening.

We went here with some friends. They do not have enough help to accommodate everyone. My husband ordered a beer from the bar. Waited for ever and then after he gave her his credit card she never came back. I had to go ask her for our card back. While I was talking with her we got an alert on our phone that a charge just went through. And then another charge went through!!! She could not find our card. Guess she gave it to someone else and they enjoyed drinks on us! She got the assistant manager who then got the manager. Lucky for us we can turn our card off from our phone. The manager did credit all the charges and gave us a gift card. But meanwhile our night was ruined. We didn't get to visit with our friends.
