Tap 42 Craft Kitchen & Bar - Doral

You can never go wrong with Tap 42. There are several locations each with its own vibe. The location in doral is a lot more calm than most but still great service and food. They do have daily specials and a great brunch service. Highly recommend the calamari as an appetizer!

Lunch with friends 🧡 The staff was accommodating, allowing us to switch tables 2 times (not their fault for the change. Preference). The food was surprisingly very good. We didn't have to wait a long for our food. I would definitely recommend this place and return when in the area.

Kaitlyn was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Quick service, super nice and helpful, refilled our drinks without us even having to ask and just made the experience run so smoothly. The ambiance was great (music was maybe a little loud but it's okay). The food was great. We got the tower and loved it. The chicken lettuce wrap had a sauce that was a little too bitter so we weren't a fan of that one. But the chicken parm with vodka sauce was also super good. Overall would come again.

1.) Jenny and Alejandro were both amazing!!! Great service, always with a smile. They both gave us our drinks and food fast and both checked on us! The timing for the refills was perfect. 2.) Everyone enjoyed their meals. I’m vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised they had vegetarian options, such as the Impossible burger. It was so good! It tasted like real meat! The horseradish sauce was soooo good. And the mushroom broth was so good on the side. Definitely one of the best vegetarian burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The display for the food was also aesthetic and beautiful. 3.) The seating was comfortable and the art inside was pretty. The music inside made it perfect for the younger groups and for those more into partying. Just only a little hard to have a conversation inside. But everything else was great!

This is a great happy hour spot for Teams. The service was amazing and the zeitgeist was perfect for casual talks and laughs. Lastly, the drinks are amazing so many options!

This place is in a great location, where a variety of shops and entertainment venues exist. It has a very nice exterior and interior. There's indoor and outdoor seating for dining...nice bar area with fantastic daily deals...50% off for ladies on Thursday evenings [7- close]!!! We ordered calamari, lettuce wraps w/chicken, and the "Prohibition" burger. Everything was appealing and tasty. My two critiques are 1) they should use fresh oil in the evenings to, so the fried calamari can taste its freshest, and 2) they should select sturdier leaves of lettuce for the wraps b/c my leaves broke apart with each bite and made for a messy experience [even though it was delicious and flavorful feast]. I eventually ended up slicing portions of my wrap with my knife and eating the sliced bundles with my fork.

We’ve been to other Tap 42 locations but liked this one and the reason was our server, Naty. She was very professional, happy and made us feel at home. We eat out several times a week and have to say she has been one of the best servers we’ve had. My husband wanted fish and chips that is on their regular menu that starts at 3pm on Sundays and she made it happen before 3pm and made his day. She was always going by our table to make sure we were ok and refilled our drinks as needed. Thank you Naty and continue with your great attitude and professionalism.

Yai (our server) was fast, extremely personable and knowledgeable. Food was very good and atmosphere was laid back.

On a work trip and stopped in for a quiet dinner at the bar. Had the fried chicken salad which was super tasty as well as being a generous portion size. (I was only able to finish half of it.). Had a margarita with dinner as well. The margarita was just OK for the price (I'm from San Diego and rather picky about margaritas.). Service was great. Bartender was nice and didn't rush me as I hung out and took care of emails. I liked the dining area. Lively but not too loud. The only thing that I didn't care for was how high the fans were blowing through the bar area. Definitely recommend especially if you are in the area for business travel. The center the restaurant is located in has lots going on

My two friends and I made a reservation to celebrate a birthday yesterday. We arrived at 1:30 pm, and the DJ was playing the music so loud, that we could barely hear each other even speak. Our server was very nice and polite, but we asked her to please tell the DJ to lower the music a little bit so that we could hear each other, and nothing happened. It wasn't her fault. My friend had already ordered her drink, and I decided to order water. By the time our third friend arrived she went over to the DJ and again asked him to please lower the music a little. She was given attitude, and again he refused. We decided to pay for the drink and walk across to Cooper's Hawk Winery and restaurant to enjoy our birthday celebration there, which was a magnificent choice! We had a wonderful experience there. When we were leaving, the DJ saw us and very sarcastically said "Disco Baby" out loud, and then mumbled something to the effect that we were "older". I heard him, but I certainly wasn't going to even acknowledge him or much less waste my energy. Yes, Mr. DJ....we may be older than you, and we had the privilege of enjoying the "Disco" era before you were even born and arrived on this planet! But you should learn some respect and and most importantly remember that "The customer is always right". Bottom line, Tap 42 lost 3 customers yesterday, and we don't plan on going back - at least not to the Doral location. Hope the management teaches you how to treat other customers from now on.

Went for apps and drinks before dinner at CH. Service was quick and friendly by Chris at the bar area. Nice vibes,, but not too crowded..music was a little too loud for me, but its a Friday night so ppl want to get in the mood! ;) I ordered my usual black/tan as a drink at T42..ordered the tuna, and it was the first time being just perfect..chips were not over salted nor cut too thick..I really enjoyed it. Parking was easy w valet at CH.

My friend and I stopped in and found some seats at the bar. We ordered some peachy lychees which were absolutely delicious! Our servers were greet and came around regularly to check in on us. We decided to share a half rack of ribs with fries. The ribs were yummy and tender. The fries were also good as they felt like maybe they double fry? They had great music playing but it was at a nice level so we were able to hold a good conversation. It was nice that it wasn't crazy packed and I love that with stopping in the valet parking only costs 4 dollars!

Popped in here for a bite to eat while on a business trip. This was near my hotel (SpringHill Suites) and I walked over as parking at the restaurant is metered. The area surrounding Tap 42 is very cute and after dinner we walked around to exploring the charming area. For dinner, my colleague and I both had burgers and fries. We sat outside on the very comfortable patio and had a delightful waitress who we chatted with about the area, having never been to town ourselves. She and her fellow restaurant staff provided great service throughout our visit. Whoever was in charge of the playlist also had a nonstop list of 2000s jams. We sang along a few times! The burger was very tasty and sizable for a filling meal. My colleague really enjoyed the truffle fries while I thought my regular fries were also awesome. The menu is fairly substantial and varied enough that anyone could find something that interests them. I'll be back in the area in a couple months and will likely eat here again!

I first came to this location for my birthday about two years ago, and the experience was wonderful. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. I also appreciate the flexible seating options--whether you prefer dining indoors or enjoying the outdoor space, both are great choices. In addition to dining in, my office has regularly orders takeout from here for meetings, and we've never had a single complaint. Consistently great quality and service all around!

I love Tap 42!!! I have been for dinner and brunch and bottomless mimosas and it never fails to be delicious. If you go for dinner the guacamole as an appetizer is a must. For dessert the tres leches is phenomenal as well. My fiancé and I had too much fun when we went for brunch and bottomless mimosas as well. The bartenders were super friendly at the bar and the music was great and everybody seemed to be having a fun time. Will be back shortly for sure!

Had an amazing experience at Tap 42 thanks to Yeilin. She's super friendly, quick, and knows her cocktails inside and out. She gave great recommendations and made everyone at the bar feel welcome. Her energy is unmatched, will definitely be back just to see her again!

The fact that Tap 42 has happy hour on every single day in the weekday is soooo dangerous in the best way possible. The food here is incredible. This is my first time going to Tap 42 that's not brunch time, so I enjoyed their menu selection. I enjoyed their mules for happy hour. Our bartender was very attentive and the ambiance and vibes at the bar was amazing. Will definitely come again.

Stopped here on our way back from Key West and this is a nice cool spot to have some wings and other bits. The service was wonderful as well as the beer collection. The layout was very cool. Whenever I'm back in town I'll stop by again.

Bottomless brunch? -- I'm there! You can switch from trulys, beers, mimosas, and bloody mary's for $30 bottomless! I did mimosas, trulys, and bloodys and had so much fun. We went with a large party, which can be hard to keep up with, especially for a bottomless brunch, but our server was very attentive, and she was also very willing to accommodate gluten allergies. The burger was amazing and perfectly cooked, and if you have a gluten allergy, they'll wrap it in lettuce for you. Fries are perfectly crispy, and the restaurant is the perfect vibe for a bottomless brunch.

Went to the brunch at Tap 42! The service was amazing-the waitress continuously came back to check up and fill up the champagne. The environment was beautiful and the music was so loud and when we asked to turn the music down they were so happy to accommodate. The food was well priced for the amount of food you receive. I got the burger with fries and it was delicious! The burger was perfectly cooked at medium. The guac was a 10/10! I would definitely return.

We went for lunch and were seated promptly. The ambiance was great. We ordered our drinks and some appetizers. We shared the fish dip and the truffle fries. Both were tasty. I'd definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Service was great, brunch on the weekends, they have a DJ playing (a little too loud in my opinion, but if you don't mind it then it shouldn't be a problem). We came here with my cousin and her husband and it's a pretty standard brunch vibe. The chicken and waffles were so good and they have pretty good drinks. Nothing really stands out about it but overall it's good.

Had a great time and experience with Diana. She's lighthearted and attentive to guest satisfaction! I got the waffles and chicken, which is on the sweeter side, but I enjoy the crispiness of the waffle. Sitting on the patio was an experience. There is a fountain in the street which gives natural white noise as well as music that is played at an appropriate tone. Thank you!

Kaitlyn was amazing. We stopped for lunch on the reccomendation of friends and found the food to be exceptional, second only to the service.

This is a must go. Aside from the parking, it is a wonderful brunch place. We started with the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. The spicy ketchup is spicy so be warned, but the dish is very tasty with the smash sauce. The tres leches toast and the Chicago style steak and eggs are everything. The service is fast and friendly with great drink recommendations. The blazin cucumber is light and refreshing.

This was my first time here and we went for st Pattys day The food was phenomenal The server was so nice! I dont remember her name but she was the best! We had a great section since we were a big crew Now the DJ was fire and def deserved for everyone to be dancing but sadly it was lit Has a family vibe as opposed to the gables one which gets super fun for brunch Still had a great time but def not the same gables vibe but I do recommend because ghe staff / food and dj were amazing! The vodka mule on tap was delicious I always enjoy the candy ginger. The truffle fries and guacamole were delicious. Honestly all the food was great. However the service was not great. It took a while to get our drinks and the doubles were more like singles. Then there was an issue with our Oder. We were missing food. The building was kinda hot also.

We had an amazing time !!! Ordered truffle street corn with avocado and salmon with fried brown rice, amazing! The service was exceptional - I spoke to the manager to congratulate them on the teamwork that we saw, even being a Friday night, where they were slammed, they had an excellent team. Including our server Katelyn (such a sweetheart) really made the difference ! Ambience was nice and they had some music playing by a DJ. We're definitely coming back. Thank you so much.

Love this place, great date spot and a great happy hour deal. I loved my server Lizzette she was the sweetest and made me want to come back again. The drinks were yummy and the food was on point.

Food is always great at Tap. We've tried the salmon bowl, chicken and waffles, skirt steak, truffle Mac and cheese, spicy tuna tartare and their crispy Asian calamari tower is out of this world. It can get a little loud inside so it makes it hard to carry a conversation. Other than that, we enjoy going to the Doral location. It's smaller than Kendall and they always have reservations available.

Jorge the bartender was AMAZING, I will definitely come back just for him. Very knowledgeable, extremely easy to talk to, and fast with everything that he did.

I'll be honest, I was never the biggest fan of this place. The food has always been good and the drinks OK, but I've always strayed towards going somewhere else. I sat with Yeilin at the bar and wow, the service just made me switch my entire thoughts. This place has easily become one of my favorites. I can't tell if the drinks tasted 100x better or if the service was just THAT good (it's both). The food was fresh and amazing, the drinks were tasty and strong, and the ambiance and conversation was 10/10. Whenever you visit try to sit with Yeilin because she'll make your experience that much better. Overall, I'll be back :)

Food great, service great. Ambience horrible, we went for Mother's Day brunch at 11 am, and music was way too loud, as loud as a club. So having a conversation was out of the question. I will never understand why do restaurants feel is it pleasant to have a meal in that kind of noise. WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN

Came here for a lunch meeting. Had a nice lunch. The location does have a bit of a bar smell to it. The staff were friendly though. The food was good and staff let us stay and have our meeting. It was in one booth and only a couple of us. It was nice though. I recommend this location!

Nice upscale bar with comfy patio seating. Waitress Jenny was very good. Lechee margaritas were bordered with coconut salt & were small but delicious. The fish & chips were much better than standard with an exceptional batter and Asian slaw was tasty. The Drunken Goat cheese on lamb beef burger was juicy above average. Guac dip appetizer was a super start with a scrumptious blend w truffles-sweet corn. It was pricey but every place is.

Running from a life threatening hurricane. Have done it before, but not quite this " catastrophic " as the media keeps referring to it. Luckily got a room in Doral and went for lunch as we discussed the night and landfall. We used to keep an apartment in the area ( Coral Gables) and always enjoyed Tap 42 . After we ordered our favorites from the lovely Erica who had great taste and favorites like we did, she left to get our order. We then got a devastating phone call that I don't need to go into. Sabrina the manager came over and was as compassionate as anyone I have ever met. ( I am a nurse of a jillion years , lol ) She was a treasure although I didn't do very well expressing that in my hysteria. I just want to say that these two ladies are without a doubt the nicest I have met in this state. Tap 42 is known for its delicious food. Today, with my house on the line and my life from a devastating illness as well, they made the difference. Thanks ladies, it will not be forgotten. I shall return!

My husband and I got to visit Tap 42 with a friend and it was fantastic. The decor and ambiance is industrial Chic and pretty with out being to soft. Our server Ashley was efficient and professional. She took great care of us. Even the manager stopped by our table. So I see service is a value at this location. The food was delicious! I had the Southern fried chicken and waffles, my husband had the Drunk goat burger and our friend had the Truffles filet steak sandwich. Everything was fresh and served hot.

Christopher was an amazing server, was extremely attentive and made my sisters birthday special. Will definitely be coming back!

I visited this location for the second time yesterday. Came here for lunch with a friend I met overseas and she's now new to Florida. First time here was for a girlfriend's birthday brunch, on a Sunday with bottomless mimosas. Service was great both times. No complaints there. I liked the ambience of this place. It's also located in the Doral City Center which I like to visit as well. I've been pleased with the food options both times :) I recommend it if you're in the area. Valet parking right out front. Normally $12 but you only pay $4 with a receipt from Tap 42 :)

The service was okay the waiter kid of dissapeared at the end but other than that everything was so good. We sat outside on the booths and the weather and breeze was so good! The food was delicious and fresh, if you go you need to try the chocolate chunk bread pudding favorite dessert ever!

Worst location ever! It's been my first time coming to doral as I always go to Kendall. We were a party of 3 and were waiting for the third person to get there. Our server was great at first (didn't get her name but blonde girl). She was attentive but as soon as the third person got there she just forgot to pass by and even do anything. She passed by the table once when my friend arrived and I told her please to give me exactly 5 minutes. We waited an hour without her passing by the table. She was passing by all the other tables and taking their order and refused to pass in front of us. We had to ask someone else to take our order. when the other server was taking our order she magically showed up. we waited around half an hour to get our food (there weren't that many people in the restaurant) and a table that got there after we ordered our food got their meal before us. After all that no server passed by our table the whole time we were eating. Had to wait a while after we finished our food to call another different server to give us our check and a box. Guess who showed up at the table when someone else was helping us again. Despite all this, she received tip. We needed one more box because my friend decided to take some fries. Our SERVER attended the table right next to us and as we were trying to get her attention she walked right past us. We had to raise our voice for her to stop and look at us. When we asked for a box she said ok with an attitude, she came with the box and when we said thank you she walked away. The icing on the cake was the fact that my food gave me food poisoning all night. I never get food poisoning. My whole life I've gotten it once and that's debatable compared to this. I've never had an experience like this and especially not food poisoning at the Kendall location.

Good location Friday night packed . Went w company pupils . The place was empty but more than half of a party has to present. I understood why half hour later. The location was packed wow! Server was very good she handle it well given she had multiple tables and were a big group. Food was surprisingly very good . Tap 42 s food has been known to be good but I had the guacamole was great with a cheese twist or cream very good and some smokiness. Great calamari wow I mean I have had them all being Italian but man this was good crispy chewy not too much just perfect. But the all star were the wings wow jerky with lots of side sauces omg! Really good hot yummm. Huge drinks great variety and drinks in their proper glasses cool martini glasses like 1930,s. Great prices and great fun with a good DJ!

Their service is always great, attentive, and friendly. The ambiance is great to get dinner with friends or celebrate. I have a few dishes from them are my must haves: & 42. Going on my list for my top Mac and Cheese. Made with bacon, cheddar and jack cheese, parmesan herb crust, and roasted shrooms (I opted out).So rich and creamy. The bacon is present, but not overpowering, and combined with the shrimp is a magical flavor explosion. A must have at Tap 42. The crispy chicken tenders are simple and always delicious. The Spinach and Artichoke dip is creamy and good. The Crispy Asian Calamari is great and the dipping sauce just adds to it.

Someone please fix the Air Conditioner, every time I come here your employees are sweating!!!! I'm gonna pass out! Seriously, this place is packed always, you can afford to fix it. If you want to eat in a sauna come here to eat, other than that, the food is good, just bring your own fan and an undershirt.

This is good for a date or girls lunch/dinner, even grounds. The service was good, our server was friendly and explained the options well. I had the impossible French dip burger and it was sooooo good!! The mushroom sauce on the side and white cheddar made it 10/10. The crispy fries on the side were perfect too. The truffle guacamole is a MUST try. I really didn't think truffle would go good with guac but WOW. So creative and delicious. I will definitely come back to this location!
