Tap 42 Craft Kitchen & Bar - Kendall

Came here for a girls’ brunch and none of us knew what we wanted. Vibes? Yes. A plan? Absolutely not. Thankfully, Rashel swooped in like the brunch fairy godmother we didn’t know we needed. She gave us recommendations so good we were this close to ordering the entire menu. And the best part? It never felt like a sales pitch, you could tell she genuinely loved the dishes. She went above and beyond and absolutely deserves all the credit. Rashel, if you see this: thank you for guiding a table of indecisive queens through our brunch journey.

Changing my review to four stars from two. I went in today and had an amazing steak sandwich and had amazing service from Jose. I really enjoyed the wagyu noodle bowl and the tres leches was delicious, but for $19 USD, the amount of spinach dip I received is borderline unacceptable.

We had a great time here. The crispy chicken salad was excellent. Carlos was our server, he was amazing! Very patient and pleasant, and all of his recommendations on drinks were delicious.

This is located in the town and country area with several restaurants in stores. It has an atmosphere that is loud and sports bar like with large tvs, lots of booths and a lot of noise, but the food is better. The portions are substantial and the prices are reasonable, considering the portion size. We had the grilled chicken chopped avocado salad, a grilled chicken caesar wrap with sweet potato fries on the side for a dollar extra and truffle steak sandwich with fried plantains. Everything was good size and good tasting. The portions are big enough to share, especially the salads and the wraps. So if you're getting appetizers, plan on sharing the meal. The only downfall, besides the noise is the service. The service is slow and uh, skin. Our server did not check back on us to see if we wanted anything extra after the meals were delivered, and he never brought more water. So we sat through the entire meal with just one glass of water and no more drinks. The bar ran out of the beer we ordered when we first sat down, but we didn't find out until 15 minutes lster. right before our meals arrived, so we didn't order any other beer at that point. Overall, the food is tasty and the portions are large. The prices are fear for the size, but it is noisy and it does take a while too. Get your drinks your bill and any follow up.Items. It's worth a second visit. I'm also heard that the Tap42, further down, the road is much better.

We came here on a Friday and sat at the bar so we could enjoy their happy hour. The bar area can get crowded but we were lucky to get seats for three. They do have a large bar with many of seating. The atmosphere is upscale. This place can get very loud which makes it hard for conversation. There is no back to their bar chairs, so it can be uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time. They do have a large selection of beers, but not too many IPAs. It is not a brewery atmosphere. We were greeted as soon as we sat down and we were given menus. The severs were very friendly and they were always available. They do clean the bar area, but it still felt sticky. We ordered food from their happy hour menu, and the food was very good and came out quick. We ordered beers, and flights of beers. The beer was not that cold and that was a disappointment. This may be a good neighborhood bar but unfortunately we would prefer to try another place. Parking was easy

It has a nice atmosphere. It's a little pricey. I would recommend going when happy hour is available. Tasty food, and I had a great waiter.

I have been hearing about this place and I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner. First off, Rochelle, the waitress was outstanding! Knowledgeable and friendly. We had the Philly egg rolls for appetizer. They had a perfectly cooked wrap with tender and well seasoned sirloin. I had the chicken and waffles for an entree. The waffles were slightly crispy but the chicken was moist. It came with sweet potato fries which I felt weren't needed. However, they did come with a cinnamon cream dipping sauce, which gave a savory touch. I had the strawberry tres leche for dessert. It was light and refreshing..not overly sweet. 10s across the board! Serving sizes were massive as well. Will definitely come back!

I love the ambiance, outdoors sitting and view to the water fountain. The food was delicious. I love clean restaurants, the waiters remove all dishes. The waiters we're very nice. I have the best waiter in Taps 42 his name is Arthur. Fried chicken melt sandwich was to die for. I celebrated my birthday at Taps 42 and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. The food was delicious, with a fantastic variety that catered to everyone's tastes. The waiter went above and beyond to make sure my celebration was memorable, providing excellent service. Highly recommend Taps 42 for any celebration! Today, I had the most delicious lunch at Tap 42 in Kendall, Town & Country. Their three-course meal was exceptional. I started with nachos and an incredible dip that was bursting with flavor. Then, I enjoyed their chicken bowl, which came with black beans, guacamole, rice, and tomatoes—it was exquisite. The service was 10 Stars, if you ever visit the restaurant don't forget to ask for Jose top notch service.

Delicious, fun, and friendly staff! We went for the first time at the Kendall location at around 12:30pm on a Sunday. It was soo lit haha there was a DJ playing very good music for their bottomless brunch. It's very large there's lots of space for indoor and outdoor sitting. I do love how under the booths they have a place to hang your purse, this is extremely convenient. Highly recommend to anyone to check Tap 42 out!

This is our first time here and we are WOWED! First off the patio is so pretty with gorgeous water views and staff was really great. Secondly, the specials are LEGIT! Where else can you get a HUGE tasty burger cooked perfectly to order for ONLY $12 on Mondays?! I'm telling you I sliced off half and took the rest home. I up-charged a side substitution from fries to ANY side (my choice Brussels sprouts) for ONLY a DOLLAR more?! Are you kidding me? This place should be packed every Monday! Free refills on our ice teas and a relaxed way to spend a usual Monday evening dinner. All this AND TVs showing our fave sports, too?! We will be back on Mondays in our regular rotation. OMG...started with Happy hour then found my drink...Michelle thank you for the recommendation...Alex...what!!!! That toasted coconut margarita...what a great drink. great service, great food and my new forever drink...it's a must try! Thanks Tap 42

Wow wow wow, everything at Tap 42 was absolutely amazing. GET THE TRES LECHES. Everything we tried was so good. The spinach artichoke dip was super garlicky, which I loved, and the burgers were perfect. The chicken tenders were great too, though I wish there was a little more for the price, but the sides were huge so it was fine. The Asian coleslaw was really good too. But the best part was the strawberry tres leches cake. I've never had a dessert that tasted better than that. It totally caught me off guard and I just fell in love with it. Im pretty sure it weighed 5 pounds. Worth the stop. Shout out to our server Valorie, she was training but did a fantastic job. I wouldn't have known she was training if they didn't tell us that. Lots of seating inside and out.

Monday could become my favorite of the week. I love a good burger and often cooked them myself so I am usually disappointed when I go to a restaurant to order. The evening was cool and so we decided to eat outside by water and chose Tap 42 somewhat randomly. And boy I glad we did. Let me start with the atmosphere. Sitting outside with plenty of TVs to watch my favorite sports game is probably going to make for a good experience all by itself, but tonight I was really in for a surprise. It was $12 burger night. But these were not just any burgers. Cleverly named Prohibition and The Big Smash, were both great hamburgers. Quite big, in fact so much so it was hard to finish, they were among the tastiest burgers I've ever eaten. The preparation and combination of flavors were phenomenal. Our sides of Caesar salad and brussels sprouts work exceptional. The service was magnificent. But top that off with a night on the patio it was almost unreasonably perfect. There is something about Miami that is so beautiful and comforting. Even the smell in the air is refreshing and cathartic. Sitting on a patio, which was covered and protected from the rain and watching the storm with its beautiful smell along with the lightning and thunder just set a mood that was incredibly perfect for this wonderful meal. I love this place. I may even come back when it's not raining. In fact, having looked at the brunch menu, I don't even think I'll restricted to Mondays. This is another do not miss restaurant in Kendall. And whether I pick Sunday or Monday, I cannot think of a better way to start the week.

I came, I saw, I conquered! The night I came, it wasn't tap 42. It was El Club 42! Or Riconcito 42!

We did not try the food or the drinks on a Saturday Brunch The music was so loud that we can even talk to waiters inside the restaurant. Probably outside was ok But temperature was too hot at 1.pm We run from there to other restaurant that we can have a conversation and enjoy the afternoon. That loud music it is ok for a CLUB or at night if you want to dance No for the afternoon We come with friends to talk eat and drink no to scream to each other Any way was a lot people inside the restaurant screaming to each other that what they like "enjoy " Good luck

The restaurant at Tap 42 in Kendall serves fresh-tasting food in a lively setting with upbeat music but the volume reaches levels that make it difficult to talk. The staff provided friendly service yet the food delivery was slow and the restroom conditions were unclean. The restaurant provides a decent dining experience through its menu selection but needs to improve its service speed and bathroom maintenance. 7/10. When Guillermo recommends a place it is definitely worth visiting because he only suggests the best.

Hi yelps! Local gem here! I'm a regular at tap 42 and it's not for the amazing brunch, delicious drinks or awesome dj they have during days. It's the fooooood! I love the chimichurri steak but another MUST HAVE dish is the truffle filet steak sandwich - wow, it's truly so good. The meat quality is the best part for my I'm so picky when it comes to that but it's so soft and tender, cooked to perfection. The truffle aioli it's so good is always ask for extra. Instead of fries I go for the Cesar salad and it's great every time. My favorite part of it all is the truffle guacamole - DELICIOUS. Sometimes I want to order two of them!!! when it comes to tap 42 prices are a tiny bit higher the average. Example, $20 for an appetizer of guac but! it's worth it. 1000% the food is excellent. Customer service and drinks are always on point!

Honestly, I come here all the time, never have had any issues until very recently to the point I decided I needed to leave this review. I had an issue with my food where it was just taking a while, and the manager that i'm assuming must be new since I hadn't seen him before, completely ruined my experience. Great service from everyone, I was told a manager would be coming to help me and was met with someone with a terrible attitude, I didn't even get him name, he had dreads and wore glasses and was just super unhelpful. I won't be coming back, such a shame one persons attitude had to ruin the experience of a regular.

Great food, great atmosphere but our server could have a better attitude. Spitting a check 3 ways is easy yet the server refused to do it. Our mistake for not asking to speak with a manager because their management is very responsive when issues are brought to their attention.

We come to brunch here every week and love the food, ambiance, and service. Alex is a skilled and personable bartender. All the staff is amazing. Bottomless mimosas, and a brunch menu that's impressive.

For a Saturday lunch, we were a fairly large group but they were very accommodating and we were seated immediately. There was a bit of a crowd so service was slow. My chicken and waffles was ok but the waffles were a bit on the hard side. The drunken goat burger was nice as was the chicken melt sandwich. My drink was a fruity margarita but I did not like it. I asked for coffee but I got it when I was almost done with my meal (the server forgot me). Overall, it was meh, but I'll probably return to try something else. I liked the ambience and the outdoor tables look really nice overlooking the small lake.

I went to this location for a work happy hour. The drinks tasted good and balanced. The lettuce wraps had a nice flavor, I would I order it again. The place is clean and they had great music. The server was nice, professional and service was fast. The server recognized as soon as we needed water or another drink.

The wrap was decent. The service took a while to get to me the ambiance was lively. Overall this was a nice open space pub

They were very busy for a cold Friday night in Miami, but this was a great place to start girls' night! Our bartender was amazing! She got us started with kamikaze shots & the pictured drinks which were very delicious! Their playlist along with the drinks, worked their magic to ensure an awesome time.

The food was yummy! The service was amazing 10/10 . The ambiance was great but the music was a little too loud that I couldn't hear my partner across the table. My bf and I paid $86 without tip. We order two drinks, wagyu beef with noodles and crispy chicken tender melt sandwich.

The service here was good. We ended up doing the 3 course summer deal. We had the street corn guac that was amazing paired with the grilled wings. For our entrees we had the baby back ribs where the meat would just fall off the bone, the wagyu noodles had a smaller portion than I would have liked especially for the price. But still very good. And the strawberry shortcake tres leches were amazing. I will definitely be back.

Service was good. Sat at bar. Ordered salmon zen. Smaller portion than ever. Way overcooked. Didn't really enjoy it at all. The quality of the food continues to go down. Portion size as well. Disappointed. Unlikely to return here as it's on a downward trend with the quality and portion of their food. Mgmt needs to do something before it's too late.

Usually I take food and beverage photos but this is my first bathroom series because it looked like a raccoon lives in there at 4pm and these are not night life photos. The carpet is filthy and needs vacuumed and the bar is so long you have a 30 min wait time at 4pm. The bartender was friendly and so was the runner who I had to ask for water and help because the bar is too long and the bartender had a party and no one had a service bartender for them so the bartender could not manage the load because the bar was not staffed properly for the big party that took up half of the restaurant. I would definitely give this place a second shot because now I'm curious since someone recommended it and I wish them well.

The waiter was very friendly. Sitting outside was nice. The calamari tower is great! I don't suggest ordering the chicken caesar salad wrap, very mid. The steak was great.

First time coming to the Kendall location and both Yasmin and Mike were great. Yasmin was able to suggest some items off the you for us as well explaining how the happy hour works. My first time there. Enjoyed our visit, Drinks, food & the vibe were fantastic. Look forward to the next visit

Sometimes the best nights come from a little spontaneity. I was on my way to one of my usual weekend spots when I drove through the Town and Country Square Mall and noticed a new Tap 42 Craft Kitchen & Bar. Something about it just drew me in, so I decided to give it a try. Even though the parking lot was massive, it was completely packed. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a spot to open up, which had me thinking this place must be doing something right! As soon as I walked in, I felt the energy. The restaurant was bustling, but the three hostesses who greeted us were so friendly and welcoming that it didn't feel overwhelming. Even though the place was packed, they managed to clear a booth for us, and in about 10 minutes, we were seated. The space itself is impressive--spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, along with a massive bar area that was filled with people dining, chatting, and enjoying drinks. TVs around the bar showed NFL games and European fútbol, adding to the lively atmosphere. You could tell everyone was there to have a good time, and it was contagious. Our waitress, Marina, came by with a smile that immediately made us feel at home. She recommended the Islamorada draft beer, which turned out to be a tropical gem with hints of coconut refreshing and unique. Erika B went for a Mexican Modelo beer, a classic choice that paired perfectly with the evening. We started with the guacamole and charred corn appetizer, and let me tell you, it was phenomenal fresh, flavorful, and downright addictive. For our mains, I went with the Drunken Goat, a lamb burger topped with whipped goat cheese and arugula that was bursting with flavor. Erika B chose the fried chicken and waffles, which she couldn't stop raving about. To wrap up an already amazing meal, we shared the Strawberry Tres Leches dessert. It was indulgent, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet a perfect way to end the night. Tap 42 isn't just about the food or drinks it's about the experience. This location, which opened in 2022, is part of the Tapco Restaurant Group, and you can see why they've expanded to so many locations across South Florida. Their modern twist on American comfort food, creative cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere set them apart. What truly made the night memorable, though, was the people. Marina's attention to detail and friendly demeanor really stood out. It's rare to find a place where everything from the food to the service to the vibe comes together so seamlessly. If you're in the Kendall area, Tap 42 is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to coming back, and next time, I might even bring a bigger group to share in the fun. Five stars, without a doubt!

3.5 From the sport bars around the area this is the most decent one of all, most of the times. Along the bar category their food is consistently good and has a bit healthier amd rounded options. Ex. Salmon, chicken. Beef, noodles. About the beers, has a decent selection and options within the categories (IPA, etc.) I prefer to visit any other day except Friday, the day that is usually at peak, but that is a personal preference.

I stopped in for a glass of wine and an appetizer and selected the lettuce wraps. It was good, but I thought it was lacking one thing something to make it a little fresher maybe diced tomato on the side or a little something because it was just chicken and lettuce wrap, but the waitress brought me a slice of tomato and I diced it up and put it with the chicken and the lettuce wrap and it was just what it needed, something to brighten it up and cut the heat and salt just slightly. I was very happy with it. My sister said a little cup of kimchi or chopped kimchi would possibly be better than my tomato. Give it a little kick and freshness, just a thought. As for the service, it was amazing very attentive, but not overly so and they were very friendly. I really enjoyed it. Also, I sat outside on the boardwalk with the water and it was wonderful. I would recommend coming here.

Miris took such good care of us at Tap 42 -- super friendly, quick, and just overall awesome. She really made the experience that much better. Definitely coming back!

Great food, great ambience. I came to Tap 42 with some friends and had a great time. The place was buzzing with activity and even though it was busy, our waiter did a great job. We had the Crispy Asian Calamari Tower appetizer to share and I ordered the Prohibition Burger with sweet potato fries. The food was excellent and abundant. The other people at the table also enjoyed their food.

Im here to leave a comment on the Chicken Caesar Warp.. let me just say.. 10/10!!! Like the best wrap I've had in a minute! Filled with enough salad, chicken, croutons, and dressing! It was a fatty wrap.. I could only finish 1 half at my meal. & they give you a side of Caesar dressing!!?? Yall know what I want without even asking!

Our group had spicy salmon crispy rice with eel sauce and Asian calamari with sesame ginger aioli.They loved it !! Service was attentive and it was definitely 1 of the best Happy Hours have been to.

Went out for a girls night and had a great time! Music was great and our bartender was amazing. (Didn't get her name). Highly recommend the espresso martini and lemon drop martini, delicious! Overall great atmosphere, bathrooms were pretty clean, and just a good time overall.

The service was very prompt and the servers worked in tandem. Tap 42 has a nice sports ambiance but feels more like a restaurant than a bar to have a nice lunch out with family or friends. My chicken and waffles was delicious although my only concern is that the fried chicken batter was falling right off the chicken but it was still tasty.

Great place to come for a company happy hour or dinner. Menu was great -- they moscow mule was delicious (& strong)! Tried their filet steak sandwich and still dreaming about it. Service was super kind, busy but really nice. The ambiance is chill especially next to the small lake with the bridge in front to cross over after your done eating.

I go to tap42 all the time. The food is always great and tasty! I usually eat the short rib sliders with truffle fries or sweet potato. The truffle guacamole is good also. The service is great although I always try to get Mike as my waiter because he's so attentive and great. To drink I almost always have an espresso martini with Bailey's and whoever is at the bar makes them really good. I will definitely come especially since it's close to home. Highly recommended:)

We were looking for an easy, casual place to eat on our way home from Disney on Ice and ended up here. It was perfect for what we were looking for! Loved the beautiful ambiance. It's a fun sports bar but pretty decor, chandeliers, etc. Large tvs around the bar. Food was good. I had a salmon ceasar salad and the plantains. They came with a garlic sauce that was good (though just okay in combination). My husband had the chicken tender melt. The server was really friendly. It reminded me of a mix between Yardhouse and Bar Louie. I definitely look forward to going back here to watch football later this season!

I recommend this place. Food was amazing, hot and fresh as it should be. Service was excellent . And cocktails were really good compared to other places.

If you're familiar with Tap 42 then this location should bring no surprises. This was my first time at this location and I had a pleasant experience. Decided to come after work for a quick dinner date on a Thursday and was surprised to see how busy it was at the bar. Not sure if it's always like this or if it's just because there was a game on. Definitely a fun ambiance for watching any games. I got one of my favorites from here - french dip impossible sandwich. Any non-meaters who like the occasional hearty sandwich should try this. It's always comforting, flavorful and filling. I did upgrade for the truffle fries which consistently disappoint me at every location, but I do it to myself at this point. They smell so great, they always come out hot and fresh, but the actual truffle taste is lacking and they sometimes leave more of a weird aftertaste. Service was prompt and great which I appreciated after a long day at work. Definitely would come back to this location if in the area.

Affordable prices, excellent food and location. I came with my best friend to celebrate early Mother's Day and we had an awesome time! Arnie and Carlos are the best servers at this place! Thank you guys!

The manager (black male with dreads) has a nasty attitude. Two of the bartenders were rude and disrespectful. Fortunately the food is great, but the service ruined the night.

If you don't know what drink to order, order the Guava Spritz! You can also never go wrong with the Blackberry Smash I love Tap 42 because they have pretty good cocktails for a reasonable price. Probably the only franchise I order cocktails at.

I got the Brussel sprouts to go tonight && was appalled to find only 6 Brussel sprouts, not even fully grown to be within the container. Please see image attached. For charging $10 for this side, you would think there would be more than 6... but called the restaurant to figure out the mishap and was advised that they only serve about 5-6 sprouts for a side

Leslie is the best server ever!!! She Knows her stuff! Very patient, funny and sweet! I will wait extra time to make sure she's my server! Everything came out as ordered. Definitely recommend this establishment! Great time, clean and staff was nice.

This location try's really hard to be a lounge or club. The music is so loud you can't hear the people sitting across from you or anything your waitress says. On two separate occasions I've seen people get so drunk that they're dropping and breaking glass. Other than that, the waiters are wonderful, friendly, and polite. The food is also very good, on par with other Tap 42 locations. Honestly because of the atmosphere, I wouldn't go back to this location willingly.

Always come here for a fun time and excellent service. Madelynn has always made us week welcome and taken such good care with making our experience the best possible. We love the food there especially the short ribs sliders and the drinks will be perfect if Madelynn takes care of you. Honestly it's a great staff overall.
