It is very difficult to have a conversation, which is expected at a sports bar. The "Cajun Ribeye" was mediocre at best, with very little spice left on it after the cook tossed it on the hot grill. I'm not sure the kitchen knows what "rare" means, either, as the center was quite hot. It was closer to the low end of "medium," and my mother's medium NY Strip was identically cooked (underdone in her case, and also bland).

Had a wonderful time at Tap eating with my daughter and enjoying atmosphere the staff is Great divide was great and I was even allowed to watch sports on the big screen TVs posted all around the restaurant.

TAPP at MGM Grand Detroit was a nice, laid back experience. Our waitress Latalia was great. Love the selection of drinks and food.

We both had the cheese burger with fries and we both enjoyed our dinner. We also had a free appetizer from playing Pop Slots. We ordered garlic parmesan wings and they were very good. The service was excellent and we will definitely eat here again.

Went in for a couple drinks and ended up getting fish and chips off the night menu. The atmosphere was great. My bro and I sat at the bar, great service from the bartender, and other staff.. Her drinks were on point. The manager made it her business to check the service. Overall I recommend this spot I definitely plan on returning again.

Google
Just not the experience we were hoping for. Visited on Monday, July 3rd about 7 pm. They were busy but not slammed. Front desk staff was very nice and we only had about a 10 minute wait. Server was quick with our drinks. Wife ordered chicken noodle soup and chicken quesadilla. I ordered Open Faced Pot Roast sandwich, which was a July special. Server came back a few minutes later to inform me they were out of it. He went to get the soup while I picked an alternate. Came back, I asked for a Rack of Baby-back Ribs. A minute later he came back because they were out of ribs! Start of the week, 4 hours until close and they were out of 2 signature menu items. I settled for their double cheeseburger. While it was a little salty, chicken soup was good overall. Hearty, with a rich broth. Quesadilla was tasty, but very greasy on the outside. Greasy to the point where the wax paper tray liner was soaked and slimy. Burger was cooked to a nice dry over done. Pretty tasteless, with some edges that were hard. Sauce provided on the side was something like a thousand island dressing with a distinctly heavy dose of mustard. Would have sent it back but we really didn’t want to sit and wait. Highlight of my meal was the crispy fries!

Yelp
I'd like to start off by stating that Anthony the server, is an amazing one. My sister and I came in nearing 11:45 PM after a concert. We had noticed that Anthony was the only server, with 6 plus tables. And he ran his butt off. We gave him an $11.00 tip for a $31.00 bill. He deserves another server helping him out. I'd like to mention their Hostess as well, I didn't catch her name, but I believe she is pregnant. She was very stressed out working the front, having to tell customers they needed to wait. I heard some customers give her a hard time and she kept composure the whole time. The inside is very bar like. It's connected to the hotels casino, which is good for business for sure. It's very clean, simple, and has good space between all the tables and chairs. The music is not too loud, which is important. However, you won't like it here if you don't fancy loud people. It's a casino/hotel/bar. You're going to get drunk people here and there. The food was good. Not amazing. My sister and I both got their burger. Which had no flavor, the first thing that came to mind was: "Why is Five Guys better than this?". It tased like un seasoned ground beef. However, their fries were amazing, and so was their ranch. But my main entree was a 5/10. I would not get their burger again. Overall, this location is convenient for hotel guests, and casino guests. I wouldn't go out of my way for this restaurant. But I do appreciate their crew that's working at 12:21 in the morning. The lack of flavor in the burger is what determines my 3 out of 5 star rating.

Yelp
I went to MGM to celebrate a family members birthday. We all (Party of 10) at at TAP Sports Bar while we were at the casino. I liked the ambiance of the Sports Bar, flat screen televisions all around, but it wasn't super loud, and actually the vibe was just laid back. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice! There were no issues with the wait time of everyone's food, and the food was good. I was eyeing a family members order of Fish and Chips, bc it looked good! I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla. The next time I'm at MGM Casino, I would go back to TAPS Sport Bar. I liked the vibe, and think it's a cool place to meet for drinks and food.

Yelp
Even if you are desperate, DO NOT EAT HERE. Food came out cold and soggy. Server apologized for food. New order brought, it was like warm, and extremely salty.

Yelp
Yummy! Highly recommend the fish & chips. My spouse recommends the chili. Lots of beers to choose from. It took a little while to get a table. Other than that, I would eat here again. If you eat later at night, it's easier to get a table. Back to the food...excellent fish and chips. Loved the red tartar sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked. Fries were good too. Plenty to share. The chili was excellent! My spouse said the meat was fantastic! Seasoned perfectly.

Yelp
3rd time here. Food was overall good. Great atmosphere. Like the vibe. Wish I could have enjoyed it yesterday when the Lions won their divisional playoff. I wouldn't mind seeing the Lions win it all. This town deserves it. I saw a town come together yesterday. Wish it was like that all the time. Anyways I hope I don't butcher. Sorry, in advance, our waiters name, but it was Halal. Great Cust service he was patient with us. We didn't know what we wanted. Finally, we got the , , strips and 's overall good. Check out my pics and the reviews on each one. Hope your visit is as good as ours. I know it gets busy during football games, but it's probably the best time to really enjoy the vibe, the atmosphere this place really is. Enjoy .

Yelp
Always love coming at the taking a break from gambling enjoying the very menu. Get a drink if you want.

Yelp
We came for a snack and wanted to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartenders were closing seats off, so only half the bar was available (no seats for 2 though). My wife ordered the nachos and I ordered the pretzel. The nachos were pretty decent. The pretzel was ok but the cheese sauce wasn't good at all. The mustard sauce was much better, so I stuck with that. We'll come back but likely more for drinks than the food.

Yelp
We stopped in here while in MGM and the food was really good. This was my first time at a casino and this restaurant was top tier! The service at the bar was great and the drinks were awesome. The ambiance is a restaurant not in a casino. You will forget that you are in the middle of the casino

Yelp
TAP is a great go-to for fast and friendly service and delicious American food options in a sports bar environment. They have several large TV screens for watching sports and have a big bar area so even when it's busy, there's usually a spot or a short wait. I loved the monthly perch special! The batter was just right and perfectly crispy and the Rueben is flavorful with plenty of corned beef. They also offer carryout!
google avatar

Yelp
Busy restaurant inside MGM Grand. Our server, Tiffany, was energetic and very pleasant. The menus is basic bar food and drinks. We shared fish and chips and a burger. Both were good as well as the green tea cocktail. Service was quick and efficient. We sat at a high top right next to the kitchen so we were able to watch the ins and outs of the kitchen, which was pretty cool. Kinda like dinner and a show. Worth a visit if you're at the MGM.

Yelp
The server was not very attentive. I tried their daily special which was fish tacos. They were very dry and quite tasteless. Not impressed.

Yelp
A review for the two hostesses working at 5 pm on April 7th It's a casino restaurant, you are not gatekeepers to the latest hot nightclub. They were perfecting their technique of being either rude, or ignoring the guests standing in line. You are not doing me a favor by finding my party of four of people a table. That's your job. So, after waiting in line for 15 minutes, disrespecting virtually everybody ahead of us, when it came our turn and they were acting like they were doing us a favor by putting us on a waiting list, we walked away. Went around the corner to D Prime and were treated the total opposite by the hostesses, and the bar staff where we sat. Great experience there.

Yelp
This place is a really good Burger Bar, it's nothing fancy but it definitely serves good burgers and onion rings, we are MGM Rewards members and haven't tried this place yet and have wanted to try it for sometime. So when you get in there it is near the back of the casino, not too hard to find. So the wait on a Friday night is usually about 30-45 minutes which is okay because you have the MGM bet sports lounge right next to the Tap which is a great place to enjoy a drink, watch sports and wait for them to text you that your table is ready. When we finally got seated, we were seated right next to the kitchen which was amazing cause you can smell all the food. I ordered the Hangover Burger with some Onion Rings and as an appetizer we order the 6 Bone In Chicken Wings (not pictured, sorry I was hungry). The chicken wings are really good and have great flavors of bbq sauce, buffalo and other little spices, one good thing is they bring you a handful of hand sanitizer wipes cause after those chicken wings you need it. After that came the Hangover Burger, this burger was very delicious and I had to cut it in half because it was so fulfilling I could only eat half for now (so I got lunch for work the next day now), the bun tasted like it was buttered just perfectly and I always order my meats rare, it just really gives off a better taste than any other way to cook it. It had a nice taste of caramel, the onions were grilled nicely and they had a really good brown color to them, all in all, this burger was cooked very good. Now, for the onion rings, I usually do not rave about a side item it's usually the main dish I rave about but these Onion Rings, THESE ONION RINGS, were the best onion rings I have EVER eaten and I know you think going to a place just for onion rings would be ridiculous but I would come here just for the onion rings, they were crispy and then soft and chewy on the inside, the batter was delicious it had so much flavor built into each and every onion ring. I eat onion rings everywhere I go, these onion rings are better than any onion ring I have ever had in Vegas, I can say that. This place is a very good place to eat if you want to enjoy some good food, get a drink and watch some sports(not much of a gambler).

Yelp
This place is just so-so. We come in often because of the points on our casino card. Otherwise, I wouldn't, simply because the prices are ungodly. The food is pretty good, not bad at all, but the only showstopper is the nacho plate. The chips are loaded with toppings and the portion is huge (the one thing on the menu that's a good value). Overall, I'm glad this place is conveniently in the casino and often choose it over their other dining options. The food is not out of this world, but it is consistently decent. Wrote this review mainly bc I always notice the food runner, GEORGE, who should get a raise :) He is always hustling non-stop, and with a smile on his face! Stellar employee who makes the dining experience better for guests

Yelp
Honestly I was a bit weary about TAP after reading the reviews here. But it seems that they are mostly outdated experiences and this restaurant has since improved. While it was not a 5-star experience, it was good! The service was good, and the appetizers and main course meals all came out remarkably fast. We had a group of 10 people, and supposedly the kitchen was short staffed, so this was pretty impressive. The appetizers were all decent. The Chicken Wings (Buffalo & Thai sauces) and Soft Pretzel were my favorite. The server offered to add sour cream to the Nachos for an upcharge, but they came without any sour cream. The Tempura Shrimp appetizer was pretty heavily breaded, but the sweet chili dipping sauce was delicious. They had a Cod Fish Sandwich special which was good, except that the fish was way too small for the brioche bun upon which it was served. The Alfredo pasta, Reuben sandwich, Patty melt, Cajun chicken sandwich, and Alfredo Pasta were all pretty good. Drinks were a little inconsistent depending on which bartender made them. Would definitely go back to watch some games, or before heading into the casino.

Yelp
OMG! First of all, this is the first time eating here. We are new to the D and let me say that the cook Greg who made the most slamming ribs we ever had. I mean everything was on point. The fries, onion rings burgers and all of that. Our waitress was amazing, Raeanne had so many customers to work with and didn't have a moment to breathe but she kept the customer service up and paid us just the right amount of attention. Give these people a hand and a raise! We will definitely be back and with family when they come into town.

Yelp
If I could give this place a zero I would. The manager , someone with the name starting with a "B" an African man, could not have been ruder. He was very arrogant, very mean, and absolutely couldn't have cared less there was a health issue. His answer when asked if we could eat because of the issue, his response was I have 20 or 30 people who say they have the same problem! What kind of response is that to a 83 year old . I told him the bar was fine .., any place and there where empty tables. There is absolutely nothing worth eating here . I assure you I went and reported it to hotel management ( not because I'm a Karen because I'm not ) but because no body should be treated this was .

Yelp
I get that the food is gonna b a bit more pricey because it's in a casino, but really? The food was ok and the service was too. Now, the girls at the front that seat you is a different story...rude as h**l! Had an attitude with us when we put our name on the wait list even tho there were like six people in the bar. They said 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I went back up to ask how much longer and got more attitude and was told they were waiting on more waitresses to show up! Wtf! Could have told me this when I put my name in so I could have gone elsewhere. Then they told us we had to leave "their area" which was on the stairs to the bar and wait in the lobby...they DONT HAVE ONE!!!! They kept looking at us and giggling and talking so obviously it was about us for whatever reason. Simply not returning ever cuz of their so called customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
Good place to get a bite to eat while you are at MGM. Generic bar food and ok service. The new money line sports book is a better place to watch the game, but TAP has food.
google avatar

Tracey M.

Yelp
It's so sad that Covid is being used as an excuse to change the menu of so many places. Prior to the pandemic I would go here to enjoy great salads, salmon etc. the only salad they have is Caesar salad. So because I can't eat anything with gluten I opted for the Caesar salad with salmon. Dressing was mixed in..... a lot of dressing!!!! Tasted good but barely made it home. Got sick. Called them. Their dressing isn't gluten free. So I guess with their less than impressive menu I won't be going back.

Yelp
A good place in the downtown area If you are trying to avoid insane parking fees like you might find for most locations in downtown Detroit. This place is one of the better bargains in a downtown area full of expensive hotel bars, restaurants, and parking garages. You can easily get here from the public parking garage attached to the MGM Casino. I came with coworkers and was able to get a pitcher of Sam Adams for $20 which is pretty cheap for this area. For the entree, I picked Shrimp & Chicken Pasta. Everything disappeared as it all tasted great. A solid place to visit if you are in downtown Detroit and want to also visit the casino without having to pay $10-30 to park.

Yelp
Recently stayed at MGM casino, so for convenience my group decided to eat at TAP. We were in a group of 7, and seated right away. Our drink orders were taken in a timely manner. About 10 minutes later, our drinks still had not arrived and our waiter started asking for food orders. We kindly let him know we would like beverages before we moved on to the next course. Once drinks finally came, we decided we wouldn't bother with full meals, and we decided to order apps for the table. They weren't anything special, not terrible either. Good for a quick snack with a drink, otherwise wouldn't recommend.

Shelia C.

Yelp
TAP MGM Detroit has gone downhill since it opened. If you go in the restaurant or to go dining rooms early in the morning, they are filthy. The employees and management do not appear to care about cleanliness (floors are dirty and tables have not been wiped off from the night before). Service is extremely slow, and the food is awful. It's sad. When i was there today, I noticed that many people only ate a few bites of food and left the rest. They need to do better if they want to stay in business. I would not recommend that anyone eat at TAP MGM Detroit.
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
Inside the MGM casino. Nice TVselection for the football games. Got the BBQ burger and it was OK. The fries were not special. Felt like frozen basic fries. Pretty pricey for what we got for a meal, mostly due to the location.
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
Good solid choice for dining here at MGM. So far we've only had breakfast here but it was great and service by Tiffany was excellent. The menu covers enough bases to please everyone. The environment is relaxing. The prices aren't bad. We want to come back for lunch or dinner or both to try more. Nice big bar and bar area to sit at. TVs to watch. Good Place.

Yelp
Just don't do it. I ordered a few things and literally everything was just gross. The hostess almost seemed to be offended that we even asked to be seated. Wild. - Cheeseburger: bun little crumbled in my hand. I had to eat the burger with a knife and fork. Fries seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp. Also the oils used to cook the fries must not have been changed for a few days. - Nachos: the meat reminded me of that nacho "meat" that we had in school for lunch. It was more like a canned meat had been heated up and poured over the nachos. Also they nachos on the menu list a lot of toppings but it really only comes nachos cheese, "meat", black beans, and olives. - Salmon: the salmon it's self was unseasoned, but they give you a liquid sauce to put over the top of it. The vegetables of the day (green beans) are frozen, not fresh. Fish and chips: again, the oil that the fish was cooked in was old, so the fish had a burnt taste to it. It was very greasy and unappetizing. I cannot say I was surprised, but we went for the convenience since we are staying at the hotel. Do not make the same mistake.

Yelp
I have been coming to Tap for 5 years and I have to tell everyone that Wallace is the best bartender they have ever had. He is the most efficient band kindest person. I trust that he will give me the best advice on what to order every time I am here, He also knows that one dragon mead is my limit if I am here alone. Try the dragon mead if you aren't driving. Lol!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best places to eat at mgm grand casino. The buffalo wings are the best I probably ever had and spicy! The ribs were my hubbys fave and the service is great. I highly recommend them!

Yelp
Recently went to Tap to order a carry out. The hostess directed me to the bar to place my order. I sat at the end of the bar and although the white, female server saw me sit down with a menu, looked my way several times but never said a word to me, not even HELLO. Odd she kept making conversation with & assisting others including the white couple only 3 seats from me. After approximately 10 minutes of being ignored, I told the black server, Tonya that her coworker continued to ignore me, so could I place my To Go order with her? She politely said yes. My order was only $28 so I was going to leave Tonya a $5 tip. I asked her to come back to my seat & handed her an additional $5 tip for HER excellent customer service.

Haleigh T.

Yelp
Wrenetta is the best server ever!!!! Had wonderful wings and fries and a margarita. Shelly is a great bartender !!!!

Anita D.

Yelp
Waitress was rude, acted as though customers were bothering her, she was very nasty to her fellow coworker, but the food was good.
google avatar

Alice B.

Yelp
Had the worst service last night. The waitress had horrible bad breath even with a mask on. She was having a bad day way before we even got there I think. The food was good so I decided to order take out, but I shouldn't have done that. I order the full slab of ribs for $32 and gave me two burnt ends of other ribs that they had sitting somewhere . The problem is when you order a full slab of ribs you get the full slab. not pieces of other people ribs the real slap in the face was that they were burnt and dry.
google avatar

Yelp
Tons of beer to choose from...on a good day I guess because they were out of a fairly decent amount when we went there. We stopped in while our friends were gambling to get some food and some drinks. They must have had a busy day because some of the common beers we asked for were unavailable, so we went with some craft beers instead, which were pretty pricey. Most of the food on the menu wasn't very eye catching either at the time of going there a few months ago. Hopefully things improve, because I had high expectations for this place.
google avatar

Alfred B.

Yelp
I had been looking forward for weeks to eat here. I went over and the greeter sat the guy before me and I waited. She came back for me and two young women walked up. She told me she would seat them and be right back for me. She came back and I said good-bye. The food prices here are reasonable and it looks good. They are heavy on the sale of alcohol. The ambience is restful. It is, however, near the gambling area where smoking is allowed. The scent of cigarettes, cigars and bizarre buublegum flavored Vapes fill the air. The food looks tasty but spotty service, tobacco use and the beer tap museum is not for me.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Things are on the pricier end here. Kind of wish they had happy hour prices. Got the wedge salad with chicken. My coworkers got fish and chips, which was a healthy portion.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
Skip it. The beer list is alright. The food is just terrible. And I mean truly terrible. We were super hungry and couldn't even do more than a few bites of the items we ordered. And the server didn't seem one bit surprised. I think she was used to people not liking the food. She didn't even ask us about it. Fine enough to come grab a beer. Just absolutely skip on ordering any food.

Yelp
I ate at Tap during a sales meeting hosted at the MGM Grand. They served our large party in a dining room with a pre-selected menu. The choices included a house salad, your choice of pork ribs, beef ribs, or filet minion, and chocolate cake. I was a little dissappointed that there was no chicken option because I'm trying to watch how much fat I eat. I settled for the steak because it seemed to be the most plain. It came with green beans and mashed potatoes. The green beans were hardly cooked and the potatoes were drenched in butter. The steak was very rare, but I actually really enjoyed it. The cut was quality and not too fatty. (Leftovers from the Wolfgang Puck in the building perhaps??) The salad that came before the meal was simple and basic (no biggie) and the cake dessert was exactly what you'd expect. I would have stuck with one star for the place, but the wait staff was really good. Drinks were slow (and no water refills) but we were a large and probably overwhelming party (40+ roughly). They were really nice and seemed to be doing everything they could to make sure we were happy. Not really anything special. Kind of like a casino Applebees.
google avatar

Craig T.

Yelp
Ate here four times in three days, and every time, the food was excellent and extremely fast and the service outstanding. Enjoyed the wings, chili, garden salad, burger, onion rings, and fish and chips.
google avatar

Jay T.

Yelp
The lowdown. Staying at the MGM Grand Detroit or need a quick pit stop after the casino floor? TAP will check mark most boxes. The con's-most of the food was so-so. The TAP Ultimate burger is bland although it's packed full of what could be flavors. Egg was tasteless and the hashbrowns could have been missed. The pro's-short rib chili! Huge chunks of rib. Soooo good! The beer selection and a super attentive staff. Go for the convenience but keep your expectations realistic.

Yelp
This place is on the edge of the casino. Food was decent. Biggest challenge was we decided to sit at a high top in the bar area without waiting to be sat. We ended up waiting about 5 minutes for our server. After that, it was pretty much downhill. His name was Brandon and he was more concerned about flirting with girl behind us versus taking care of everyone and their needs. When we finally got our food, I asked for silverware and after waiting almost two minutes I just snagged some from another table. Oh yeah and if you don't like smoke then I suggest sitting somewhere deeper into the restaurant. Overall the food was not bad. Service was bad. No intention to return to the restaurant or casino. Want to explore other options.
google avatar

Mike F.

Yelp
One of the only restaurants you can get to without stepping foot into the MGM Casino floor. Wolfgang Puck's restaurant is also on the premises, but if you have a family with you there's no way to get to it without crossing the casino. And the guards won't let ANYONE past that's underage -- even if you have a reservation!! So TAP is the spot we ended up checking out, and I'm glad we did because they have an awesome beer selection and a ton of TVs for watching games. The wait for a table wasn't too bad, and it gave us some time to drop some cash on the craps tables. Food was good, regular pub food (fried foods and semi-good salads). We got the fried chicken (really good), chicken pot pie (also very good, but probably too much for one person to have by themselves), and fried kettle fish (meh). Tables are spaced out nicely which makes it comfortable if you're lugging around a bunch of gear and children.

Yelp
I've had a few things here but once I found something that I like, I don't stray from it. Sandwiches and burgers aren't much to write home about but the Thai Chili Grilled Salmon has been consistently good. We come here once every few weeks with friends and three of us always order it. I skip the rice that it's served on since I'm just not a rice fan in general. It has a small cucumber salad garnish which is great and comes with a side of green beans. Someone else commented in her review that they're frozen but they've always been fresh every time I've had them since sometimes they cook them so that there's still a bit of crunch to them. My husband prefers them boiled longer. The glaze has always been well seasoned (not spicy at all). My friends also like the wings but I haven't tried much else ... except for one of the July specials which was pot roast (odd for a summer month) which was fork tender and had a tasty gravy. I skipped the Texas toast that it was served on since there's no point to Texas toast if it's mushy from having mashed potatoes and pot roast on it. Just be aware that some nights are super busy so it's harder to get a table.

Yelp
I have been here a few times now to eat as it it located inside the hotel (as well as the casino) where I am staying during my conference, The place is very busy and has some decent food and service. I liked everything that I had (wood fired pizza, chili, breakfast). They have a huge amount of diverse taps of local beers and ciders. I find the pricing all over the place. Most of the apps are like $11 to $12 - the same price for a pizza or other entrees. Very odd. Also a big peeve is the smoke, They are attached to the casino and have all the windows open facing the casino fill the entire restaurant is nasty cigarette smoke. This would not fly in New England. Three stars for food and service buit the smoke issue makes it a 2.

Yelp
I want to start by saying this isn't a review of the food - we've been here before and I've enjoyed what we've eaten, but it is a review of the service and the fail on serving beer. This is a stylish place, with good atmosphere, it's always busy and the bar is usually crowded, though were able to find spots on Saturday. I only write this because for the second time, service was slow...mind-numbingly slow. If its this slow when it isn't packed, can't imagine it packed...generally other places will see someone sit and get them a drink. I waited 10 minutes. Now, one of the things I've liked is their draft list...I thoroughly enjoyed it the last time. This time? They had Final Absolution, one of my go to beers...so I ordered it. And it came in a wine glass. I actually turned to my girlfriend (who doesn't know anything about beer) and said 'did they just serve me beer in a wine glass'?). I felt beyond insulted. Yes, I know you can go online and read about it being ok. It isn't. Which is why I have never been served a beer in a wine glass ever. Special glasses, yes, brandy snifters for high gravity beers (and that's appropriate) but not wine glasses. I almost asked him to pour it in another glass but with service being so slow I just gave up, didn't order lunch and drank my humiliating beer. Will we be back? Yeah, probably, and I'll improve my score if things get better, but my recommendation for now is to pass.

Yelp
Sat at the bar, 3-4 bartenders were working. After 5-10 minutes we left. Didn't even get acknowledged, I never expect immediate service, but a simple hello or be right with you goes a long way. Don't bother trying to get a drink here.

Yelp
This place is inside MGM downtown Detroit. So, it's cheaper than Lumen at Beacon Park. However, depending on how you come into MGM, like from the MGM parking structure, you have to walk through a VERY smoky casino. By the time I got to Tap, my hair and clothes smelled heavily like smoke. The prices are ok, appetizers are ok, and the waitstaff is typical. Some good/some bad. Meaning some are VERY slow. The drinks are decent. But hey, if waiting on a Tiger's game to clear the parking structure, you can sit and wait a couple of hours for it to clear.

Yelp
The worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Customer service is absolutely lacking here. Be advised that if you want to be seated in the section where you have full service, TV's, and good lighting, you need locate the hostess stand near exit doors of the casino. If you're inside the casino, there is an "express counter", which is intended for you to order your meal and sit inside the very dark, dated, musty-smelling back area of the restaurant. I went to this counter and asked for a seat, but the lady said that I had to order there and then find my own seat inside. I ordered and went inside to find a seat. The atmosphere is that of an abandoned attic -- dark wood, abandoned bar area, musty smell, and just overall unpleasant space to be. I wandered through an open door and discovered the "full service" section, which was a much nicer area of the restaurant to be seated. There is much better lighting, lots of TV's, and availability of beverage service on this side of the wall and I asked to be moved. I had three wait staff tell me that I had to stay in the back section of the restaurant, even after I explained how the back section was not appealing and I just wanted a nicer spot to sit and enjoy my meal. It was not busy, and at least 75% of the tables on the nicer side was open (even the more appealing part of the restaurant wasn't very appealing). I ended up going to the back part of the restaurant (that feels like an old attic) and asked to speak with the manager. Upon arriving to my table, he had a negative attitude and was more interested in defending the staff, rather than asking what could be done to improve my experience. I asked for a refund, so I could go eat someplace else. He did accommodate my request. My food arrived just as he was providing my refund, and he suggested that I eat what I had ordered out of courtesy. I had ordered a burger and fries. The burger was very average, and frankly, I wasn't interested in eating the whole thing. The bun was dry and falling apart, meat unseasoned and soggy. However, the fries were really good, as well as the special sauce they give you for dipping. While I appreciate the offer to refund my meal, I won't ever be back.

Yelp
Cozy bar in the casino that we went to for breakfast. We were craving a Bloody Mary and from the looks of others drinking them at the bar, we couldn't wait. The garnishes looked delish with a sausage stick, cheese and olives. Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived as the drink tasted awful. I wasn't aware that they put beer in the mix or I wouldn't have ordered one. I requested a certain vodka but wasn't informed beer was added too. Yuck!! I'm not a beer drinker. My all American breakfast was great though. The pancakes were amazing and fluffy. I'd definitely go back, just not for a Bloody Mary lol.
