The 14 Best Restaurants In Brickell - Miami - The Infatuation

"Tap is a Brazilian chain perfect for a Brickell resident who feels famished after an overstimulating spin class. They make decent tapioca sandwiches and pao de queijo paninis (all of which are gluten-free). But the best thing on the menu is the açai bowls. Our favorite is the tropical bowl that comes with a thick layer of cinnamon-coated granola, bananas, and strawberries—enough so that you get a little in every bite (as long as you’re good about pacing yourself)." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

I am late lunch dining at Tap Your Everyday Brazilian Café in Brickell, Miami, and it was an absolute delight! This vibrant spot brings the heart of Brazil to Miami with its 100% gluten-free menu, bursting with fresh, flavorful dishes. Pedro the owner brought in an artist from Rio to create the tropical art work at his Miami and New York locations adding a delightful Amazon appeal to the restaurant. Pedro recommended their signature chicken based dish which was excellent. I highly recommend it. The portions are right sized and massively flavourful. They also are doing a co-promotion with another Brazilian brand they partner with. The açaí bowls, especially the tropical bowl with cinnamon-coated granola, bananas, and strawberries, are what I try next —perfect for a post-workout meal or a light lunch. The tapioca sandwiches and pão de queijo paninis look equally delicious, showcasing authentic Brazilian flavors with a modern twist. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with thoughtful touches like coconut water served in its original shell, which adds a fun, tropical vibe. The commitment to sustainability, from biodegradable cups to ethically sourced ingredients, made the experience even more enjoyable, knowing they’re doing good for the community and the environment. A special shoutout to CEO Pedro Uchôa, whose passion for bringing Brazil’s rich culinary heritage to Brickell shines through in every detail. His vision for Tap as the neighborhood’s go-to café is spot-on for this growing chain, creating a space that feels both authentic and inviting. The staff’s attentiveness and the vibrant energy of the place made my visit truly memorable. I can’t wait to return to Tap for another taste of Brazil. I visited Brazil for 3 months recently and have to say the dishes are wonderful.

Google
Tap Brickell truly surprised me! While known for its lively atmosphere and great drinks, I was especially impressed by their variety of pão de queijo—crispy on the outside, chewy and cheesy on the inside. They serve it in different styles and flavors, which makes it hard not to order more than one! Their açaí bowls are equally outstanding—super fresh, not overly sweet, and topped with a generous amount of fruit, granola, and other add-ons. It’s clear they’re using high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in for brunch, a light snack, or just craving something deliciously Brazilian, this spot delivers. Great vibes, friendly service, and genuinely tasty food. Highly recommend!

Google
Where do I start?! I ordered the Avo & Eggs & it was so delicious! 😍 the cafe was very nice & aesthetic plus the staff was amazing! I can’t wait to go again, I’m obsessed with their Brazilian bread, it’s like a cheese bread & it’s so good!

Love TAP! I’ve been living in Brickell for the last 2.5yrs but only recently discovered them during our community’s recent Wellness Wednesday walks (open and free to the public - join @mybrickelldowntownliving on Instagram). Gaby and the entire staff are wonderful!! They are so nice, so attentive…and I’m offically hooked on their acai bowls (dare I say best I’ve had?!) and their pão de queijo. They’re on ClassPass as well, which is super convenient bec I end up going here after Tremble every week. Also, their acai is 100% unsweetened woooo!

Great, organic Gluten Free food. Loved it. The staff are quick and very friendly. Very clean. Prices are right for good quality food.

Google
Very good! The açaí Power bowl had too much peanut butter for me- which sounds odd because usually I want more. However, it was a huge chunk in the bottom. I LOVED the tuna sandwich on the Pao De Quejo bread. The PDQs were also great, very big in size. The coconut water was DELICIOUS and so unique!

Google
I love this place so much it’s kind of an addiction. I had tried their acai bowls and they’re pretty good but their tapioca sandwiches are insane! One of my friends had told be about the tapioca sandwiches and I was kind of skeptical about it but they’re sooo good. The chicken club one is so so good & well the pao de queijo is amazing too. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tap is a new Brazilian café located in Brickell. The açai bowl here is fantastic except I do not recommend the one with milk powder because it is just straight powder in the middle of your acai. some people might be into that though, so if you are then be sure to get it. The granola that they use here is super delicious one of the best that I've had!!! Super cute inside really recommend it at least once

Yelp
The reviews are a bit misleading unless we ordered incorrectly... The service was very nice. waitress was kind and helpful. She warned that the sandwiches on the pao de quejo bread were very small (which they were) so if you're starving go with the wrap instead. I had the shredded chicken one with melted cheese but it was cold on the inside. My friend had the tap salad which basically was just arugula quinoa and cheese, which is totally fine she knew what she was getting, but $16 is a lot for that in my opinion. The passion fruit smoothie was tasty! My advice- skip all food and go with smoothie or acai bowl and some hot pao de quejo (which were a good size!)

Yelp
Tap 5 stars! Easiest review ever. Okay but in Al seriousness good Brazilian food is always a good thing to have close by. Tap is exactly what Miami and Brickell were missing. The tapioca sandwiches are simply indescribable if you've never had one before. It's like soft but crunchy and toasted deliciously to create a palette sensation unseen in other cuisines. I ordered the vegetarian avocado and egg sandwich on my most recent visit and it was divine. Honestly I over ordered because I also added a couple pao de queijo as well as a coconut to drink out of. But I have absolutely no regrets at all. Everything was delicious. I figured that the reason the restaurant is called Tap is because you have to tap a straw in to the coconut to drink out of it! So genius! The staff was also super kind and let me know that after I was done with drinking the milk I could bring the coconut back to the counter and they would happily cut it open so I could eat the meat inside. Luckily working nearby means super easy access to this beautifully decorated and delicious spot. The only thing I don't like about it is how quickly they got me addicted to their food. I hope my doctor doesn't mind

Yelp
Tap in Brickell, FL, offers an impressive array of authentic Brazilian delights, and two standout items on the menu are their baby açaí bowl and pão de queijo. When we walked in, we were greeted by such friendly staff and the manager. They gave us a rundown of the menu and all the wonderful items that they have to offer. The restaurant has such a beautiful bold, bright color that highlight Brazil. The baby açaí bowl is a refreshing and flavorful treat. The açaí base is smooth, thick, and richly fruity, with the perfect balance of natural sweetness and a hint of tartness. Every layer is of texture and flavor that make every bite feel indulgent yet healthy. The portion size is just right, giving you a satisfying experience without being overly filling. It's a perfect example of Brazil's famous superfood dish, offering both nourishment and great taste. The pão de queijo is Brazil's iconic cheese bread, is another highlight. These little baked cheese puffs are perfectly crisp on the outside, with a warm, chewy, and cheesy interior that melts in your mouth. The cheese flavor is pronounced but not overwhelming, making it an addictive snack or appetizer. These pão de queijo are the ideal accompaniment to any meal, showcasing the comforting simplicity of traditional Brazilian baking. Tap in Brickell does a fantastic job capturing the authentic flavors of Brazil with these dishes. Whether you're starting your day with a baby açaí bowl or snacking on pão de queijo, you're in for a delicious, authentic Brazilian food experience that transports you straight to Brazil.

Yelp
I tried TAP during their opening weekend and was pleasantly surprised! TAP is located by Happeas on S Miami Ave. if you're driving, there is street parking and garages nearby! They offer gluten free options as well as açaí bowls! I ordered and acai cup and two pan de queso! Their pesto pan de queso is so good! Very flavorful and a great size! I also really liked their fresh acai bowl! The staff is very friendly! There is both indoor and outdoor seating available! It's a cute picturesque cafe!

Yelp
This review is solely based on their Brazilian Cheese Balls or Pão de Queijo. I was in the area and I haven't had one in a while. They took a couple of minutes to warm it up and it was perfectly hot and crispy outside yet soft and cheesy inside. I devoured 4 of them without even blinking. They have an inside and outdoor seating area but also a couch/lounge area. Based on the Pão de Queijo alone I would come back to try other items.

Yelp
tap! It is Brazil's food embassy in the USA... Let me take you on this tropical foodie adventure. Originally from NYC, this Brazilian getaway recently opened in MIA, with the perfect setup to set you in the mood. The colorful atmosphere will catch your attention right away and pay homage to Brazil's natural enchantment Brazil's wild fauna is captured and represented in its splendor by graffiti ‍artist @universoacme ! As you enter the scene, you will be greeted by the warm smile of their team led by the hard worker Juan, and supported by Julia, Wallace, Raquel, ‍ and when you think personalized service couldn't reach another level, you can run into Pedro and his family taking care of each detail and walking you through their top picks making it an ultimate customer service experience.... Now let's get into what you've all been waiting for! The menu is completely gluten-free starting with: Avo & Eggs Tapioca flour filled with organic eggs, mozzarella, seasoned avocado, and fresh tomatoes. Vegetarian and 100% gluten-free! The tapioca flour is so organic and different from all the wraps that you've tried before that it'll be your new favorite. Probably the word "tap" comes from tapioca and it's what distinguishes all of their menu as superb You can also order it with old-fashioned smoked salmon, cream cheese, baby arugula, and fresh tomatoes And our top favorite: the one-leaned shredded steak, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, baby arugula, and basil pesto sauce (nut-free). You can also adventure yourself and try the chicken club (people's favorite) with Pão de Queijo Panini's, another signature recipe from tap, a mini panini style filled with shredded chicken, mozzarella, and fresh tomatoes. To thirst up and power up! Why not boost your vitamin dose of the day the natural way with a PB Natural made of Organic açaí, natural peanut butter, and banana, as well as a Passion Mango ‍Passion-fruit, mango, agave, and coconut milk. And of course, let the drums, introduce the main appetizer: Pesto Pao de Queijo, only available @ tap, believe me, you will become addicted to it...make sure to order more than one and take some home Coffee lovers the Brazilian Bean will roast your caffeine shots! True coffee flavor in every sip, strong, smooth, and creamy, even if you order it with almond milk. I added a pinch of cinnamon as it is how I always liked it. Even the water deserves a mention, with scents of mint and lemon will keep you refreshed all-day What will feed your spirit the most is the incredible story behind the owners, such a young and hardworking team that it'll push you to keep on going ‍... don't ask me, just read the article featured by Forbes where they feature their COO, Celo Uchôa, ranking him in their list of 30 under 30 Obrigado tap! Your flavors will spark a new signature trend in the MIA atmosphere just because it is deliciously unique from any other healthy eatery...the Brazilian footprint is officially set here!

Yelp
I went to tap because I was really intrigued by their pao de queijos and more specifically their pao de queijos paninis! I ordered the chicken club. I would say for the price, it is on the smaller side, so if you are really hungry, it would be good to order something along with it. I thought the texture of the pao de queijos was great, crispy outside and soft, fluffy interior. But for me, the filling was a bit on the saltier side personally, so it didn't feel as balanced, although the bread itself was delicious. I also ordered the salad, which I thought was actually pretty balanced in flavors and I thought it had a good amount of the toppings (I.e. sweet potatoes, cashews, feta) . Service was also quick and the staff were friendly. I also thought it was cute that you get a coconut as your table number. They also have some infused waters that you can help yourself to. I think if I were to come again, I would try more of their regular pao de queijos or try a different panini. I think it was a great idea, but this time the execution wasn't totally there for me.

Yelp
Monster acai bowl was tasty, filling. Ingredients are basic ones you find most places- strawberry, blueberry, banana, different nut butters. Pricey, especially if you add any extra toppings but the ingredients were fresh. Friendly staff. Good option for a quick, healthy meal.

Yelp
Tried out Tap for the first time & it was soooo delicious! The food is 100% gluten free which is perfect for me! Ambiance looks absolutely amazing! Love all the decorations! Service was excellent! Definitely coming back!

Yelp
I had an amazing experience here! Super healthy and delicious! You have the choice of ordering a sandwich, wrap, or bowl. I got the salmon sandwich; the bread was made with tapioca. I think you can choose which bread you want. The service was phenomenal as well! Very welcoming. Since it is a Brazilian cafe, the overall theme is the Amazon rainforest, which is noticed from the moment you walk in.

Yelp
Great food, good quantity for the price. Authentically Brazilian. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Fantastic food and wonderful staff working here. Especially the tapioca sandwiches. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Stumbled on this place looking for coffee but opted for their Zenergy smoothie instead. I really enjoyed it. Thank you!

Josh S.

Yelp
I don't normally do gluten-free meals but I had the lean steak panini here and WOW it was good! The coffee was great, and the hot chocolate was the perfect balance of flavor, not overly-sweet. Really cool atmosphere, and the service was outstanding! Everyone was so friendly and seemed to enjoy working here. My wife and I were sitting for about an hour waiting for another shop to open and, instead of asking us to go, the manager brought us samples of their açaí (so good) and chatted with us. I hope we can get a location in Colorado!

Jake N.

Yelp
So excited to try and it did not disappoint! It's a bit of a drive from Broward, but well worth it for a really good GLUTEN FREE bite! Sandwiches r amazing. We tried 4 different ones and we liked them all. Smoothies r great! Macha amazing. Pan de queijoi pesto or original is so Yum! We r thinking this a new weekend fav! It's a must try!

Yelp
As a Venezuelan, I love fresh and organic fruits. the açaí is delicious and full of flavor. the service and owners are very nice, take care of every detail. thank you TAP I will come back for the sandwich tomorro.

Yelp
Food was amazing, reasonably priced for gluten free food. Makes many accommodations. The staff was so nice and offered many recommendations. The owner also made sure you had everything you needed. Also the decor of the place is the perfect vibe for a chill hangout for a get together with a friend or 2! Definitely recommend will be going back any chance I get.

Aleksandra M.

Yelp
Not sure about previous reviews if those are fake or what, but me and my friend ate there today. I had a 17 dollar salad, with three pieces of sweet potato, five cashews, and two pieces of feta over arugula with barely any dressing. Worst salad I've ever had. Horrible. The smoothie was fine. My friends food arrived cold.

Joan D.

Yelp
Excellent little spot in Brickell for ACAI, wow do they have an amazing tasting acai. My only complaint is the price of the baby bowl... it's $9 and the size of a water cup. Other than that, excellent tasting Pan de quieso, smoothies, service... everyone was incredibly friendly and nice. Felt very comfortable sitting there to grab a quick snack with a friend. Another recommendation I have for them is my friend and I did not end up eating here bc we are not sandwich people so if they have like a gluten free bowl or salad bowl option that would have made me give this 5 stars. I will be back though for those mouth watering pan de quieso's!!!

Dillon D.

Yelp
Amazing new spot in Brickell! Perfect for gluten free or keto diets. Great vibe as well
