Tap Room

Highly recommend checking out this place if in the area. As a UK visitor I headed into town with work colleagues who are local and suggested this bar and it did not disappoint. Bar is a very classic US place with a long bar serving everything you could wish for and lots of seating both on the ground floor and upstairs. All with views of an array of TVs screening news and sports. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Gyro which was amazing. A great place to relax and unwind.

The food was delicious, everything from the appetizers to the main dishes was spot on. Drinks were well-made with a great selection to choose from. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the service was impressively fast. Definitely a go-to spot for good food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Listen ... there's a reason why the appetizer pictures are so clear but the others aren't 🤣🤣. This is by far one of the top favs for bottomless brunch , $22 for 2 hours unlimited mimosas doesn't include the flavored mimosas and it's only available from 11AM-2PM and if you come at 1PM it still ends at 2 but it's definitely worth it. I love the wings and the mussels and the truffle fries and slidders were also good. Don't take my word for the slidders and fries tho, because those were 7 glasses in 🤷🏾‍♀️Everything came to $100 so it's not expensive, granted we only got mainly finger foods. I've been there twice now, there will be a third.

The strawberry cider and crispy chicken salad that I had were delicious. The food is generously portioned. Our server was attentive without hovering. Our group all seemed to enjoy their drinks and food. The only negative, which is certainly not the tap room's fault, is that right behind us was a group of very loud men. It made it hard to hear each other and enjoy a normal conversation. But again, not the restaurant's fault. Would recommend and would go back there again

Attended a baby shower recently. The brunch spread was delicious. The party room upstairs was spacious and welcoming. My best friend also took me here for my birthday brunch a few months ago. Love it here!!!

I came yesterday with my family and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was great, perfect for a Sunday outing. Our server was 10/10, Walter was very friendly, attentive, and made some great recommendations. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Their new half roasted chicken was delicious, will definitely be back!!

Tonight I was walking by with my wife and friends and the bouncer, out of no where, commented on how he did not like my wife’s outfit and further goes on to make very derogatory and racist comment's. The large “guy” built like a mushroom barely fitting on the stool made us all feel so uncomfortable and awkward. We then walked into your establishment to see what is so special about it and it was empty, playing music videos? I heard good things about this establishment but I would not bring anyone I know here after tonight. Any positive comments are definitely false AI generated comments. We left within a minute due to this excuse of a bouncer making my wife feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Do not come here, literally go anywhere else.

Came here after a Roller Derby Scrimmage on 4/27 and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Peter G. He was so pleasant, and sweet as I navigated the menu and helped with my dietary restrictions. He ensured that my drink was made on the spot and that my food came out as quickly as possible and accurate. He ensured my whole party was taken care of and is 100% the reason why we plan on returning any time we are in that area. Thank you Peter G for the fantastic experience!

This place was the old Meatballs, they really haven't done much with the place, but it looks nice and has a good look of a trendy want to be sport bar, the staff was friendly and attentive, the food was pretty good, we ordered a couple of old fashioned and a Mediterranean platter to start, the drinks were ok and the platter was missing something, not sure what, but it didn't quite satisfy my taste buds, it wasn't bad, am not sure, that was followed by a Burger Wrap and a Blackened Gyro, they were very good. We will return.

NEVER AGAIN, The place turned into ROMPER ROOM on March 1st for a "bar Crawl" on Main Street. Walked into the place to find the lights turned off, tables and chairs gone, blasting horrible music and it was LOADED w teenie boppers...It was like being in a sardine can. No way all these brats were 21+.... door guys didn't ID a soul that walked by them & we couldn't even get within 20' of the bar. The back door was locked so no one can enter. Hoping for fire safety sake you could at least get out if needed but you would probably be trampled to death before even getting toward an exit. We have been to this location before and liked it which is why we returned to gather for my bf's bday, but after this visit-never again. We had to round everyone up last minute to go to a more respectful place and glad we did. We all had a great time.

Review specific to completely mid Sunday brunch: Dining companion got their version of an espresso martini (made with cold brew coffee) and asked the waitress to take it away because it was too bitter to drink...Still ended up on the bill and neither the waitress or the manager addressed her comment Plus she ordered steak and eggs, steak med rare and the steak came out well done Additionally, the service was so slow, we literally didn't get drinks served to us for 30 minutes. Again, specific to brunch: no screwdriver option on the drink menu, which seems odd. But perhaps even more odd is that they offer 3 flavors of mimosa, but bottomless is only available for traditional mimosas (?) We also asked for a pitcher of mimosas and were told they don't have them, only to see the servers walking around with pitchers of mimosa I'd be hard pressed to recommend for brunch.

Loud and proud was the vibe last night. Parking as always on a Friday night along Main Street is a challenge but i suggest finding a municipal lot and just take the walk. So at 7 party of 2 we had a 30 minute wait due to the METS game the place was packed. There were 2 birthday parties taking place upstairs and a very lovely woman singer was downstairs by the front windows and she was incredible. We were greeted promptly by our server Peter who was on point, attentive and friendly. The menu is not huge but they offer a wide variety of options to choose. We started with hot honey Brussel sprouts with bacon lardon and oh my that was amazing . Next up was the birria sliders (x2) with jalapeños and a consume dipping bowl and i was pleasently surprised as to how tender the meat was and the consume you want to swim in. My wife opted for the Chipotle shrimp tacos (x3) and they just hit. The creamiest of the Chipotle cream sauce along with the snap of the fresh shrimp was noteworthy indeed. By 9:00 the Mets crew had cleared out and the Yankees crew had made their way in since this place has like 100 tvs to watch whatever sport you'd like. All in all a great experience and having live music was a plus. I would definitely go back and I suggest you give it a try as well.

Amazing service by Walter at farmingdale! Drinks came out so perfect and on time. Steve the manager was amazing! Will definitely come back! Had a blast at trivia!

The food was delicious, and the bartender was incredibly helpful with everything. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but her service really added to the overall experience.

Stopped in for lunch - it was early, so it was pretty empty. The bouncers/security at the front door were really friendly and welcoming. Once seated, our waiter came right over - we ordered spinach dip which was freaking amazing - then we ordered chicken sandwich w-truffle fries - it was messy, but tasty. Also ordered was a bacon cheeseburger and a hangover burger - which were very good. I believe it was some type of bar crawl happening because after about an hour of being there the place was packed and loud to the point where we couldn't have a conversation, so we paid and left.

Brianna was awesome and the place is great. Stopped by on our way home from an appointment. Place was clean, service was great, staff was friendly and the food was awesome highly recommend!

Had a wonderful dining experience at the New Tap Room! So happy it replaced the previous establishment. The food and ambiance were lovely on a Sunday evening. Our server, Coraima, was great! So many options of the menu she suggested the Chicken al vodka sandwich and was so happy she did! The strawberry side fields salad and truffle fries complimented the sandwich. Definitely recommend trying this place out! They have happy hour specials weekdays 3-6 on food and drinks. The food was great and I will definitely be back!!

Been a fan of their Patchogue and Massapequa locations for quite some time now. I usually always get the burger wrap. It taste exactly the same in both locations. Also a must are their sweet potato fries with the yummy dipping sauce. So by now you can tell how excited I was to tell my friends I heard of this new location and I thought we should meet them here as it's closer to where they live now. I love introducing people to new spots. I digress... This once coveted storefront on Main Street was occupied but That Meatball Place, and unfortunately it didn't last. Cue The Tap Room and their awesome menu, with quality food and a laid back chill vibe. Another location hitting it out of the park. Service was great, and I always give major points to our server who is more than patient with a bunch of kids at their table. Hugeeeee props to ours for sure. Finally, I switched it up a bit and got the short rib slider with a horseradish sauce and fried crispy onions. So flipping good! Do I have another go-to... we shall see.

I had the most amazing night at Tap Room! the music and food were fabulous and the service was perfect. Walter was our server and never let us have an empty cup. He got our orders correct and had a smile the entire time. Amberly the manager granted us complimentary green tea shots and Steven makes a mean one as well as the passion fruit sangria. Definitely come here for some good vibes!!!!!

I wish I could give zero stars. Came out tonight to celebrate with a couple of my good buddies. All I asked for was a cold pint of Guinny. Did they deliver? Why don't you answer that Q for yourself? That puppy got served up in a plastic cup. Piss warm. Ruined my whole vibe for the entire evening. Don't believe me? I attached an image of that mammy. If you can't tell from the pic, it was genuinely warmer than hell probably is tonight. Warmer than the tubbb on a Friday night. The tunes were pretty chill tho. They're bumpin Kesha as I type this out.

The food was amazing and it was a very nice place. It was a little cold by the window but overall, a wonderful experience.

Recently I stopped into the Tap Room in Main Street, Farmingdale. I was with my cousin.The place is very nice and has a lot of space including a full bar. I had the Fried Pickles and the Whiskey Burger, my cousin had the Chicken Avocado Wrap.The food was very good and our Server was polite and helpful.They have an area for parties and catering. Also there many TV's to watching Sports There is much parking around Main St and also Public Parking.This is a very well Managed business.If you are around Farmingdale check it out the TR you will not be disappointed !! G

The food was adequate at best, nothing to write home about. The bartenders paid more attention to male patrons than us. The place was not crowded and we should've taken that as a sign and left.

Ordered delivery on the tap room's website. Order was marked for delivery 5 mins after the order was placed. Food came about an hour later, ICE COLD! I had to reheat everything. Also, for a $20 salad, the lack of ingredients, and size of the salad I received, whoever prepared it should be ashamed of themselves. The kids mozzarella sticks on your website show you get 4, I only received 2. I complained via email. A Jeanine Wallace from Upstream responded asking for my order number but never heard back from her again. I would never order here ever again. Waste of my money!

I used to come here when it was The Meetball Place but it has thus turned into Tap Room. Came here with friends last night around 10:30 or so. The DJ was fantastic and we hung out at the upsatairs bar. I'd like to come back and try the food as its always been good in Massapequa and RVC. I have a feeling this place will do very well in this location as it was packed last night! See you soon.

I remember when this location was the local hardware store. Then came That Meetball Place who did a major renovation to the property and made it an awesome bar scene with lots of rustic wood everywhere. I always loved That Meetball Place for their ambience and amazing Happy Hour specials (all taps $4). Food, not so much. So when I heard this was going to be another Tap Room location I was excited since I regularly visit their Massapequa Park location. Having been to 3 of the 5 Tap Room locations (Farmingdale, Massapequa Park, and Bayshore) the Farmingdale location is similar to Bayshore in that is has two levels. Massapequa Park is only 1 level but seems always packed. The energy is different at the Farmingdale location. It doesn't have the same "Tasp Room vibe" of the other locations - yet. Could be they opened it less than a week after That Meetball Place closed. Maybe they are making progress in that department. The Farmingdale location was always a huge club scene when it was That Meetball Place, with lines out the door Friday and Saturday nights in the summer. I don't think the other Tap Room locations are like that, but I have not been to them late at night. So if The Tap room of Farmingdale can continue that tradition they should have a great club scene in the summer. My current concern with this location is the food. I have eaten there 3 times since they opened (including day 1) and the food has been hit or miss. The first day the food was pretty spot on like the other locations. I think that is because they brought in so many Tap Room employees from other locations to help them the first few days. But a week later the food quality has gone down. My second visit the chicken wings were soggy and a bit rubbery. I had ordered them to go and had to heat them in the air fryer to make them edible. The Mac and Cheese balls I ate on premise were great, as was the pretzel. And the beer was good, even though they do not have all the usual beers the other Tap Rooms carry (like Banana Bread beer) yet. This Tap Room has a mediocre Happy Hour since is limited to only a few basic taps at $5 each. My third visit the boneless chicken wings were literally raw inside. Thankfully we cut them in half before eating so we noticed right away. They were pink and translucent in the center and the bartender had to toss them in the trash and give us something else. Turned us off for eating anything else that day at the restaurant. I think we got a pretzel in their place. But definitely disappointing to have another chicken dish undercooked. At this point we decided to take a month off from this location in hopes they iron these kinks out. It is a shame they are having these inconsistencies since it is such a great location and Farmingdale has a great bar scene. They should be making a fortune here but if the food is not on par with their other locations they won't last. Hoping to update my review to 4 or 5 stars in the coming months.

Found a spot on Main Street that was not crazy crowded with good food and entertainment! I was really happy with the steak tacos and the options given as sides. I opted for a nice fresh salad instead of fries with hot sauce as my dressing. There was entertainment with someone singing and was pretty good! Also the flatbreads were also great. Can't wait to go back for a delicious burger.

The wings were great, crunchy and flavorful. The decor is very trendy and the music selection is very good. My kids loved the Mac and cheese. Friendly staff. We will come back!

Have been enjoying the mussels at the 6 Tap Room locations for years. My friends and family enjoy all their food. Great selection of beer and cocktails. The staff at all locations have always been very accommodating and friendly. Happy hour at the Tap Rooms is great. Cannot say enough positive things about the Tap Rooms. Tap room in Farmingdale versus Massapequa Park are two (2) completely different ambiance. AMBIANCE: Farmingdale location is more of a club vibe and that the transition starts well before 10:30 p.m. SERVICE: Surprisingly very well. FOOD: We ordered a few items: -CHICKEN WINGS: 3/5 The sauce is the saving Grace as they were dry. -WHISKEY BURGERS: 2/5 impressive with heavy Grease and more candied bacon overpowering the flavor. -CAJUN FRIES: 4/5 Could be more crispy -SWEET POTATO FRIES: Could be more crispy -BATHROOM CLEANLINESS: 0/5 The women's toilet was broken , doesn't flush. Toilet paper on the floors

The service here is overall amazing, even down to the security. I felt welcomed and didn't have to worry about my safety at all this weekend. The DJ was great too!! Had a great time.

Walked in about 20 mins ago (about 730p on a quiet Tuesday)to grab a burger and and a drink based on someone saying the food was ok. Stood at the door waiting for someone to come over or even acknowledge us standing there. Place was half full. After 5 mins we figured we'd just sit down at a table ourselves. The table was dirty but ok, we figured when someone came over we could wipe it down...we then proceeded to wait another 10 mins sitting. Not a waitress or hostess in sight. Bartenders never looked our way. Finally got up and started talking to the family of four that was then waiting by the door also to be seated. We all ended up leaving after being literally ignored for 15 mins lol Wow. There are way too many other options in Farmingdale who would like our money to stand around. Wont be back

Had a great time at the Tap Room.... our server Walter was awesome. The food was great and he recommended his favorites which were tasty.

Our server was great the food was good. It was really loud and our chair kept getting bumped by anyone walking by. There were some guys at the table across from us clearly many drinks in and they kept getting closer & closer so no one could pass without hitting the chair. It made us decide to leave without ordering a full meal. Not the places fault but just a really annoying issue.

In general it was good. It is a bar with a nice beer menu. Food was good, price was okay. The one in Farmingdale is much better service than the one in Massapequa, we have been to both a few times now.

Terrible! The DJ is beyond awful. Expect to pay a $10 cover and be packed like sardines. 0 stars

I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE !!! Been coming here for years even before the change I just came again yesterday and MEGAN (WHO TF IS MEGAN ?) made me feel unwanted in the first 30 seconds of meeting her. I'm actually uncomfortable and don't know if I'll be back again. This place has changed. 0 STARS FOR MEGAN !!! #FREE-TAP-ROOM

I frequent the Patchogue location a lot so I was super excited when I heard they opened a location right up the road from my house. Came here tonight and was seated upstairs in Bianca's section. She had zero personality which is really not hard to fake, put on a fake voice and smile and you're golden. We ordered our food, wings and spinach dip and got tortilla chips instead of the pita due to an allergy. The chips were stale but you know what I can deal with that but my wings were ice cold like they were sitting in the back for a while. I sent them back and had my new order packed to go because I was over being there. My to go wings also came out ice cold. I'm never the one to not tip because as someone who is also in the restaurant business I know we rely on them but with the service we received I couldn't fathom leaving anything. I will never be back to this location again.

Service is god awful.. Went for dinner with my friends not knowing that this changed over from meetball to tap room. Very disappointed, waitress was annoyed we came in late night before the bar started to get busy with night life. My fault we hit a lot of traffic and got there later than we wanted..... Secondly, we stayed a little bit for the night life. DJ Pookie.... god awful. guy can't think hes doing a good job. Never heard a DJ talk so much into the microphone. I feel that people want to rock and vibe with music, not hear some guy scream into the microphone. Feel bad for the workers there, no way that can be enjoyable every week! Will admit! The one positive was the tall blonde Walter. we got a chance to talk to him very nice individual.

Yummeee. Good vibes, ambiance, service and food! Will return! Main St is doing good.

If I could I would rate this bar 0 stars... I was here with a bunch of my friends on a Saturday night the entire floor was slippery; it affected my experience. Do not go here. You slip and you get kicked out

Nice bar plenty of seats, food was decent the lady that looked like she was in charge with the big nose seemed to not be interested in talking to us as we had some inquiries about the establishment since it was a different business about a year ago. She was very unfriendly and unwelcoming like we shouldn't of bothered her . The bartenders were very nice though .

Food was good, our waitress was very attentive, but they kinda kicked us out. My fiancée and I were about halfway through our second drinks when another waitress came over and took our table away from us to clear room for the dance floor. We were in the corner, not taking up that much space and it was only like 10:45. We were probably going to get one more, but with no table we decided to leave and go to another bar on Majn street. I definitely wouldn't go back on a Friday or Saturday night.

Good food and pleasant staff. Also a great selection of beers on tap. My husband likes stouts and porters and they had both. Not always easy to find.

Beautiful space, great service (especially considering being open only one week). Food was amazing (just like the other locations). They accommodated a table for our 11 year old girls and a table for the moms. Will definitely be back!

My food was cold and my burger was medium rare instead of medium well. Money wasted. I have ordered from the tap room many times before and this was by far my worst experience.

Love the atmosphere. Have always loved the meetball for the atmosphere but the food had gone downhill there so didn't go often. Excited to have the change. Had a great server Tyler W. We all enjoyed our food and drinks!

Went to lunch with a friend. We shared the sampler appetizer platter. Its was soooo delish. She had a burger with blue cheese and I had the mahi mahi tacos. All were very good. Our server Sean was absolutely AMAZING!!! So helpful,kind and on point with all. We will return and ask for him again.

love tap room, I've been to now 4 of their locations and was not pleased with the food for this time. we ordered a bunch of appetizers and all of them came out cold. the steak quesadilla (which is my fav item) was cold and barely any cheese. the pita with the spinach and artichoke was stale and the dip was not fresh. very disappointed with the quality, nothing was hot and fresh like usual.

I don't review but needed to give a heads-up. Went to lunch on a Tues around 12ish to grab lunch with a few coworkers I hadn't seen in some time. Pre-covid we use to go to lunch all the time. Now, I'm working from home so we don't see each other often. I suggested the Tap Room since I'm on a mailing list and heard some good things about the place. We figured we grab pub food (Burgers Yum!) and have a conversation. It just so happens that I found parking directly behind the place. Bad move. These municipal parking lots are food (no pun intended) for the village police that circle around like piranhas looking for money. It so happens my inspection was expired (not driving much since I'm working from home these days) on my garaged mustang that I hadn't driven in a while but needed to meet my friends. The car is an 06 in immaculate condition. Far from a basket case. But since the law is the law, I'll take ownership. But drivers beware. This town has built up and attracted a lot of people these days (remembering the ole days) and the village is taking extra before you leave. Btw, it is going to be a long time before I consider going back to the vof. Adios
