The Miami Episode of ‘No Passport Required’ Airs Tonight on PBS | Eater Miami

"At a Miami restaurant called Tap Tap, I heard more about Haitian history and migration while eating griot with pickliz, grilled fish, legim, and more; over pate kode I learned about how the city of Miami and Little Haiti have changed over the years." - Sonia Chopra

took the Little Haiti tour with Abraham and loved it! Visited Little Haiti Culture Center: saw Haitian Folklore Dancing, Paintings, and a Kompa Class. Ate at Lakal, insider foodie mecca visited by Celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelson who checked out the food scene before opening his own restaurant in Miami, an urban food garden and a Haitian market. This tour was the highlight of our day. Loved the festive golf cart and all the experiences. Can't wait to go on more tours.

We booked a Little Havana tour with Cidelca and had the BEST afternoon. Travelling with an infant and a toddler, Cidelca was flexible and patient which we really appreciated. He managed to show us some amazing highlights, some hidden gems, enlightened us with interesting history and organised local treats for us to taste as well as took lots of happy snaps for us, all in-between us managing the kids. He answered all of our questions and our toddler loved him. What a great way to see a part of Miami that we would never have experienced in that way. Highly recommend booking a tour.

We had an amazing time!! our tour guide was very informative we went over time by an hour and he had no issues he didn’t rush us, or complain. he stopped at a place and got us Pate Kode’s. We stopped at a Haitian market place in Little Haiti and we all went crazy because we found things we would never find in Orlando. 😂 I definitely recommend everyone to take a tour with him ! Thank you again!!!!

If we could give 10 stars, we would. Our Program did a walking tour of Little Havana and it was amazing! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice. We had little treats and giveaways along the way. The kids were very engaged in the tour due to the tour guide asking them questions and getting them involved. Everything was splendid! Definitely recommend to others!

Best tour and tour guide!!! Forget all the other over commercialized, crowded, impersonal, overpriced, cookie-cutter tours of Miami’s Little Havana. Tap Tap Tours is the only tour you should be taking. Cidelca runs the boutique small-group walking tours of Little Havana and his finesse, charisma, humor and knowledge cannot be beat. First of all he's an architect, therefore, he's able to professionally explain the finest architectural details of the buildings we are seeing and its art in an elevated and exquisite way. I believe this is the only walking tour in Miami led by an architect. Cidelca is an amateur historian as well and the stories of the past and of the Cuban community in Miami come to life as we walk past historical landmarks, public art, parks, restaurants, and cafés. We also got a taste of Cuban cuisine and pastries from a couple of great places he picked for us. After the tour we got excellent tips and recommendations from Cidelca that helped us make the most of our time in Miami. Top notch! This tour was tailored, intimate, personalized and very affordable for the quality we received. I was truly impressed. Thank you Cidelca! We'll be back for more!

This is not your typical one & done tour!! I have enjoy attending several tours in Lil Haiti aka Lemon City, which are culturally enriching and elevating educational experiences, which are curated by Jean. The tours are very educational and interactive tours. Thank you Tap Tap Tours!! 📚🇭🇹

Cidelca is super knowledgeable and personable making for a very enjoyable tour. He took us through the history of Little Haiti and Miami. Highlighted some of the major landmarks in Little Haiti, even through homes, markets and parks of significance. This is the first tour that I've been on that the tour guide actually gifted us with famous Haitian snacks and drinks! I would highly recommend this tour to ANYONE from the area or from abroad to get a true understanding of Miami outside of South Beach and Brickell.

The Little Haiti tour with Cidelca was amazing. He's very knowledgeable and offers great historical insights not just on Haiti but also on the state of Florida. We got the opportunity to visit local merchants where Cidelca was gracious enough to offer us Hatian libations and treats. It's also super fun to do the tour in a golf cart that's decorated to resemble the Haitian tap tap mode of transport. I highly recommend this tour and will happily do the Little Havana tour next time I'm in town.
