"After opening its doors in late January, Trinity Groves Spanish restaurant Tapas Castile has already shuttered. The restaurant announced its closure in a statement on Monday, citing low revenue as the culprit. “In spite of the positive reviews of the food and wine program at Tapas Castile, the restaurant has not performed well enough for us financially to continue with the concept,” said Trinity Groves owner Phil Romano in a statement." - Amy McCarthy

Arriving late for a birthday party... the guests that had been there for 30 min prior still hadn't gotten their drinks... For a Monday night and the only table inside.... Unreal. The waiter tried to keep the drinks coming but just couldn't keep up with a large party of 15. ... But it was a Monday and the only table. Any of the other staff looked too busy to care about piling up dishes, glasses, shot glasses and empty plates... Doubt I'll be back and 14 others won't... Oh and when half the people leave before the cake comes out says a lot. We asked to have it packed up and hauled ass..... Cake in tow. :(

Delicious pinxtos (bite size), we ordered one of each. The chorizo/manchego and olive/sardine stood out! Also had the clam with chistorras, a perfect combination. And last, the octopus just melted in my mouth! The price of the wine was fairly good. We’ll return to taste the rest of the menu :)

We had dinner at Tapas Castile last night and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful food and great staff. We tried the meat and cheese plate, croquets, almonds and olives, paella, and finished with the almond tort for dessert. These dishes were well presented, had amazing flavors, and reminded us of the food we sampled on our trips to Spain. The wine list was well curated and my friends choice of wine paired perfectly with the food. The service was excellent and our server was quick to help us, made great suggestions, and kept the food and drinks coming at a perfect pace. The most incredible part of the meal came at the end when we were handed the bill and realized how reasonably priced this restaurant is. We can't wait to go back and try more of their wonderful dishes.

Service was excellent, food average to above average. Meats and cheese are mostly from Spain, but you should ask. Octopus was disappointing by itself but as a dish was ok. Mushrooms were very good. Wine selection awesome, beer was week. Full bar but did not par take.

Been to several tapas restaurants across the US. This was meteocre at best. The mussels were non existent, pork chop was dry. The smaller items were ok. We left after four dishes. There are three better tapas restaurants I can think of in DFW. These places are by for more reasonably priced and better food. This place just seemed like an upscale bar with some overpriced tapas inspired dishes. Perhaps we just came on a bad night but, with a multitude of staff and only two tables to care for, I doubt it.

This is not my thing, but I can see how nice place this would be to someone who likes tapas. The beer is not good, but Spanish. The food is, well tapas. Don't come here hungry. The wine is also not my thing, I prefer malbec. But I can definitely see the concept. The bathroom has really nice paper towels that are scented, the sugar is organic white. But overall it's not my thing. I like ipa and stouts, salads and fast service. Not what you're going to get here
