"Tapori is a chic and intimate Indian dining spot with warm lighting, modern yet subtly traditional decor and a cosy feel. A 200‐year‐old wooden door from Rajasthan welcomes guests into a space adorned with Warli, Bastar and Pichwai art. Inspired by India's 28 states, the chef-owner reworks the classics, fusing bold spices with innovation. For dessert, try their unique take on Benami Kheer. A hidden bar serves cocktails." - Michelin Inspector

A wonderful evening from start to end. A beautiful and charming building filled with style and character. Unique and custom artwork representing all corners of India. The menu is a culinary journey. Dishes prepared in a homely way, yet presented with upscale elegance. Chef / proprietor was around and ensured everything hit the highest standards. A wonderful evening and experience. Can’t wait to come back and to explore more of the menu.

It’s almost like a hidden gem. Indian street food from 28 towns in India. The food was nicely presented and the taste was not bad except that the temperature of the food was weird they’re all kind of room temperature or luck warm. I’m my opinion, It didn’t have the taste of freshly cook food. All the dishes were very pricey and rather small. We ordered a crispy fish dish. There photo of dishes in the menu were deceiving, there were 3 pieces of fish in an actual plate there was 1. There were 3 pieces of lamb racks but only 2 came. We asked and the reason was they were bigger pieces. The restaurant has a very strong air refresher scent. The seats are very low and uncomfortable. We wanted to stay longer and chitchat but our bottom and back hurt so we decided to call it a night. We went on Sunday night and we were the only table.

Tapori curates 29+ recipes from major regions across India, to portray diversity of Indian cuisine. We ordered 6 menus from 4 towns, 3 gastronomic regions. All dishes have unique flavors and ingredients using. We had tasty and exciting journey through this meal. However, we wish the restaurant could improve story telling a bit about dining here as gastronomic journey across India. It would be nice to order food as planing trip where on India we would visit through eating today. The service was nice, interior was homy and charming, definitely be back to try more regional Indian food here.

What a restaurant! Don't know where to start this review as everything was fantastic. Let's start with the decor, design by the owner himself, you find a beautiful detail at every corner, from the entrance door, to the hand painted walls, the waiting area, and the fantastic ceiling at the bar. The service was excellent, everyone made us feel welcome, from the owner to the last waiter, super friendly, polite and knowledgeable staff. And last, but not least, the food. It was a delicious journey through India. The menu has 28 dishes, one for each state, ALL of them with amazing flavors! We shared two small dishes, two mains, and one dessert, every single one delicious, can't point to a favorite one. Try as many as you can, you just can't go wrong. Rohit, well done, no doubt this is the best Indian restaurant I have tried in Bangkok. Looking forward to our next visit!

Unique taste of Indian food. The spice isn’t that strong which is good and I like how each menu has its own gimmick and special ingredient. The service was also great their team showed us the story of each painting and statue- all originally imported from India. They also have a bar with Indian gin and special Indian cocktail. 👍great place to experience Indian food in another angle🥰🍳

The food was really tasty and easy to enjoy, even though I’m not a food expert. The place has a great vibe and the staff were super nice. I also really liked the bar next to the restauran, perfect spot to hang out with friends. Will definitely come back!
