Best Restaurants, Bars, and Cafes on South Whidbey Island | Eater Seattle

"Located inside the 1920s-built former Bayview Cash Store, this family-friendly pub is just loaded with excellent beer and cider options, as well as craft sodas and finger foods for kids. For grown-ups, though, mussels are the thing to get, harvested from nearby Penn Cove and steamed in ale, shallots, and butter. But don’t sleep on the Taproom’s spicy take on a Cubano, served on sourdough with carnitas in place of roast pork." - Meg van Huygen

I’d had the cubano a few years ago before the new owner took over and while it was fine it wasn't even close to the one i had tonight! Delicious. The owner brought a box for my tots without even asking because she remembered i have them for breakfast next day. Stellar

Good selection of beer on tap, fun atmosphere with live music on the weekends. Their food has absolutely no business being soo good, their Belly Bowl was amazing!

I’ve been here about 10-15 times over the past few years. As a local, I hate giving such a poor review. But I think people should know my honest review. First, avoid this place like the plague if you actually have problems with gluten. They’re one of these places that labels items “gluten free” but clearly still uses the same equipment to make the food, or they have horrible cross contamination guidelines. I get sick every single time. On top of that, they have the audacity to charge $9-$10 for a 10 ounce CIDER! Nothing special. If you can drink beer, you’ll find normal prices. But if you have gluten intolerance, you’ll be paying $18 (plus tax and the 20-25% tip they force on you) for a measly 20 ounces of cider. Jesus. Their food is subpar. And their service? Get real. I’ve been there so many times and not ONCE have I been remembered by any of the staff. They ID me every single time and act like they’ve never seen me before, even though I’ve had many long conversations with them over the years. Meanwhile, other locals come in that I’ve regularly seen there and chatted with, they all get greeted by name as they walk in.. Every time I leave there, I have a sour taste in my mouth and feeling in my stomach. If you want to spend $100+ on 20 ounces of cider for you and your friend, as well as one very small and slapped together meal each, go ahead! My advice, don’t waste the $50 per person where everyone else serves 16 ounce ciders for $8-$9 and typically, if they label things GF, they actually mean it.

Had the Cuban sandwich. It was very greasy. The pork was very good but the bread was fried in butter and was dripping. My wife's blt was very tasty.

Fantastic and diverse beer and cider collection and also great wine! Don't sleep on the green curry mussels or the best crispiest tots on the island. Staff is lovely and there is often awesome local music in the evenings.

Worth the Drive! We decided to drive south of Coupeville, and wanted to find a fun, family-friendly restaurant with a wide variety of food. We did! We enjoyed burgers, tacos, a bunch of mussels, and a Cubano. They have a great selection of beer on tap, and the drink cooler has lots of options for folks not in the mood for a drink. The staff is friendly and the service quick, I could see it being quite busy in the summer. The bar was almost packed and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I recently opened a Better Homes and Gardens McKenzie Realty office in Bayview and after taking my sister and brother-in-law down to see it as they were visiting from out of town, we decided to go grab a bit to eat and a beer as every time I drive by this place it is full of people and I kept meaning to stop by to check it out. Having said that, we met Francesca who owns the place and waited on us. Not only was she super friendly and cool, the place had a great vibe and the food was great. I also liked that she had serval non-alcoholic beers to pick from! Great place and worth the visit for sure and I will definitely be back! Actually I did go back with my wife and had another fantastic meal and great service at our now special table/spot!!

Google
Came in at lunch time during the week and were seated right away. Everyone loved their food - we tried the burger, the Cubano, the shrimp tacos, and a special cod sandwich. Loved all of it! They were out of mussels already. Decent selection of beer and a cooler with nice bottled NA drinks. Seems to be doggo friendly on the porch. Our server was the only one in there working, but took great care of us and was super kind. Parking seemed unintuitive if you're visiting for the first time - we didn't realize it's in the back near japonica cafe.

Yelp
Great food! Shrimp tacos are a must, on a scale of 1 - 10 they're a 12. Tots were delicious too!

Yelp
We tried this place a few years ago and it was terrible, but we thought we would try it again based on the traffic, happy hour, etc. The service was straight up terrible. There's one guy that was saying everything on the menu was fantastic. Only serve beer and wine and choices of wine are very limited . The food that we ordered was subpar. The kind of food that you wish you had never gone out to dinner for. Not only that, but the food was extremely overpriced and we didn't even eat all of it because it was so bad. We won't make the same mistake again... This is a place that you go to drink beer and that's it .

Yelp
Great day to explore the south island on a motorcycle! And we chose a great place to stop to eat. They had a amber ale, which seems to be getting harder and harder to find. Thank you for keeping 1 on tap! Super nice server, really appreciated her cool vibe. I got the burger, which was great but suprised the bacon flavor was nonexistant. A nice lil heat was nice, and all in all gets a thumbs up. Tots were on point, tasty, not oily or dried out. Thanks, we might be back later this summer!

Yelp
Simply put, this place hit the spot! When we walked in (Saturday around 1:30pm) the bartender told us to sit anywhere we wanted. There appeared to be 2 sides of the taproom, more of a "bar" side with a +21 vibe and then the left side which was all table and chairs and definitely kid friendly. The bartender seemed to be managing the whole place solo but she did an excellent job hustling back and forth. We felt well cared for and enjoyed a few rounds of beers and an appetizer. We went with the "Pub Grub" appetizer ($14) which consisted of cheese curds, pretzels, a cheese dip and an assortment of pickles which were delicious! The pickles really counterbalanced the salty/crunchy items nicely. Add in a nice hazy IPA and it was heaven! The kid really thought her Squirt out of the bottle was cool as well! All in all, it was a great spot to grab a pint and a quick bite!

Yelp
Updating review - was in here yesterday and got the "chicken sandwich". It was one chicken tender in a bun. And the chicken tender tasted like fast food chicken. Several bites of the sandwich were no chicken at all - bun only. Super disappointing.

Yelp
New owner as of last September. Space has been refreshed and the menu has been updated and features local farm fresh produce when seasonally available.

T P.

Yelp
A generous 2 stars. Decided to give it a try after driving by many times. Service was below average, food was worse. The red ale was fine. Nachos were mediocre. The pub grub platter has horrible. Who deep fries pretzel bites? Wings were over cooked. My wife was looking for a spot to throw up outside in case that was faster than trying to find the bathroom. Kitchen closes around 7:45 so be prepared. Should have just got a hot dog at the newly opened Greenbank Cidery nearby.
google avatar

Danny W.

Yelp
Stopped here around 7:30 pm last night and was told they were done serving food in two minutes so if I wanted grub, I had to order immediately. The posted business hours say they close at 10 pm but whatever. Didn't feel like a welcome environment from the moment I walked in. Servers were decent, they have a sign on the front door saying to be patient since things can get a little hectic I assume. The kitchen is in the heart of the restaurant and the ventilation is very poor. You're going to smell like 3 day old vegetable oil and grill smoke. Every breath I took felt as if I inhaled chimney smoke. The kitchen was also extremely dirty and disgusting (see attached photos) I lost my appetite before my food even came. When my food finally did come, it wasn't how I ordered it and was cold. I took three bites and told myself I would never step foot in this trailer trash establishment again.

Susan M.

Yelp
I love this place. Friendly comfortable gastro pub with inside and outdoor tables. Great beer choices, a cozy bar, and really nice staff. I'm not usually a cold slaw fan but theirs is delicious. Comes with a great burger.
google avatar

Jacqueline G.

Yelp
It's cold and service was below average, we're not regulars and I felt it. I live less then a mile away so being a regular could have been an option but not with the ambiance and service level. I recommend visiting just to see for yourself maybe it was an off day.
google avatar

Brian G.

Yelp
Popped in for a beer and takeout. Wide variety of taps and legit good food - it is not all pub grub. They had a beef medallion with polenta and veggies special that was awesome. My kiddo loved the shrimp tacos. Had I known you could sit outside with dogs I would've brought the whole family and enjoyed the ambiance. Great spot.

Yelp
We love the crew at the Taproom! Great food, good beers, fun events! Good setting for locals and visitors! And the staff are always welcoming!! Love it here!

Yelp
The only reason I wouldn't give this place higher than a 4 is that it can be inconsistent at times. I've been here probably 10 times or more as there aren't a ton of restaurants on the south end of the island. My biggest gripes would be the service can be rather slow at times, but I typically go into the restaurant with the idea that I shouldn't be in any sort of hurry. One time I went in, one of the female employees wasn't paying attention, so I sat there for probably 10 minutes before she looked up at me. And the restaurant maybe had two other tables full and a handful of people at the bar. The other issue can be the food not being exactly consistent. I really enjoy the pork Cubano sandwich and typically get it every time I go there. Over the summer though, I'd gone in maybe once or twice a week at times, and I felt like a burger. The burger comparatively was a bit of a letdown as it wasn't a very large portion and I as unfortunately just a bit above mediocre, especially compared to the size of the Cubano. I understand smaller sized kitchens can be overwhelmed with a lot of menu items but it would be nice to change a few things up and maybe add a few different items to the menu. I've considered the nachos but I don't think I've ever seen anyone else order them before, and nachos are generally at bars are either great or somewhat lacking. I'll definitely be back and order the Cubano, it's just a shame that they don't have more dishes that are as good as it is imo.

Yelp
Best Mac and Cheese in the island! The grilled chicken burger I've had was a solid combo and i would honestly go back for the sauce! If you're ever coming from the ferry as a foodie, stop by this place on a road trip!

Shelby L.

Yelp
2 star because my macaroni wasnt bad and they still made us food even though the kitchen closed in 2 minutes (which isnt listed in any reviews). They only have cider and beer (for alcohol). Pretty spendy for a taproom/bar, but its Langley lol. Upcharge of $6.50 for 5 shrimp. We got mac, appetizer sliders and tots, 1 cider + 1 lemonade and our total was $62. Kitchen was disgusting and unpleasant to look at. I dont know how to post pictures on here, but I took some. My boyfriend said no pickles on his sliders and they came with pickles. He also got charged .50 for bbq sauce (which is like a water texture, but not bad flavor). We will never return and will let others know as well.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
I order a burger today from the tap room in Langley Washington, fist I ask for grilled onions I was told they don't grill them. Strange you have a grill you just cooked the burger on and you can't grill onions for that same burger. So I ordered it without the onions to go, came in to pick up my burger the cost was $22.35 gave the gal $25.00 was told its not ready yet. A few minutes go by and she brings me the burger and I ask what about my change, her comment was oh you want it. Dam right I due, first you don't assume my change is your tip, its my choice to tip you what I feel your service is worth.

Yelp
Loved this place for years, great beer selection for folks who don't just want a standard Pils or lager like everyone has. Most of us had the sour cherry from Omegang. We messaged ahead to let them know we were a group of 8 with 3 dogs. The server was super sweet to our pups, bringing them fresh water and bacon. I had the Cuban sandwich with the HOUSE MADE blue cheese potato salad. I can't have soy so anything with mayo, aioli, the majority of salad dressings, etc. are off limits. When we go back, I might order just the potato salad. It was THAT good.
google avatar

Mabel B.

Yelp
Ate here twice over a five day stay in Langley. They're open 7 days a week, which is a huge plus, and seems like a rarity these days in small tourist towns. We sat outside on the dog-friendly patio with our puppy, which was another big plus. The food was good and the service was excellent both times we visited. The BLT was my favorite and the tots were a crispy, delightful treat. My husband thought the beer was only okay, he's kind of a beer snob though, so take that for what it's worth. The Bad Granny Hard Cider is amazing! Both servers were fun, friendly, and efficient. We will definitely return next time we're in the area.

Victoria E.

Yelp
I could not ask more from the service here; our server was just lovely. Their truck hadn't delivered the morning we went here, so they were out of a few items, and she let us know that as soon as she saw us looking at their outdoor menu. I wasn't able to order what I originally wanted to, but I appreciate that she communicated so well. We had the chicken sandwich with potato salad and a burger with the jicama slaw. The sandwich was made with a chicken breast and topped with gruyere cheese, greens, pickled onions, bacon, and a sauce. The chicken was moist and all the flavors married well together. I particularly enjoyed the onions, as they added a nice tang to the sandwich. The potato salad was enjoyable and not overly heavy. The burger was good. It was a typical taproom kind of burger. The slaw was just a bit spicy (in a good way I'm told), and refreshing.
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
Not a lot of places are open on a holiday Monday so it was really busy. They ran out of a lot of menu items. The servers are very nice and try their best but it took forever to get food. The inside fills with smoke when the kitchen is trying to pump out the food. The mussels were huge and delish. The chef salad, soup of the day, and chicken sandwich were all good. The spinach dip was not great and the cheesy crustini was the hardest most stale thing I've ever been served in any establishment. The kids menu items are very reasonably priced and a good selection.

Gabriel L.

Yelp
Draft 2: Not only was the service awful. The men I'm this restaurant were yelling at the only woman working. Megan was nice and kind and trying to serve customers while the men were complete assholes. Don't go if you don't have to. My burger was honestly tasty. But the shrimp Cesar was damp and off. I highly recommend looking at any other restaurant in the area if you can. I felt so uncomfortable the entire time I was in there. Especially as a former restaurant manager myself. I'd never treat my team the way she was being treated, regardless of how good or bad the employee was doing. "We should have gone to Fucking Dairy Queen" - my 7 year old Niece Myself and my buddy both are sick on the ferry on the way home.

patrick t.

Yelp
I'm gonna keep this review short and sweet. -Service was super bad -Appetizer came out last (nachos) -Completely forgot one of our parties entrees -Ordered the mussels with 1 other person and we both proceeded to get I'll 1 hour later with sharp stomach cramps and diarrhea. -Food all over the kitchen floor completely visible to customers Terrible Experience

Jessica C.

Yelp
We all got sick from the burgers Good luck I don't have anything else to weight but I need more words for the post
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Our waitress was also very knowledgeable and we went with her recommendations and they didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this place. They also had a nice selection of beers on tap. Seriously don't drive by this place or your missing out. The service was top notch.

Yelp
Located next to Bayview Nursery. Easy to find. Situated in an old building which houses several commercial spaces. On entering, the immediate decision is where to sit: the bar area is to the right of the front door while the kitchen & dining area is to the left. Nothing fancy: bare wooden tables which match the plain unappealing space. EXPENSIVE!!! All burgers & salads priced at $15.00. Large bowl of muscles in a beer broth $16.00. Small side dishes available at $4.00 & up include: potato salad, coleslaw, crab cakes, etc. happy hour beers/wines $1.00 off 3pm-6pm. Credit cards accepted. Due to the limited menu & hefty prices, I wouldn't make this a place I would frequent often. Service was friendly. Nothing special or rememberable.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
The people here are great. The food is good bar food and the beer selection is adequate. It's also in a great little corner of the world near some other nice businesses.
google avatar

Jan K.

Yelp
The Bayview Burger is out of bounds! Get the tots on the side. You won't be disappointed! Great tap list too!
google avatar

Billie R.

Yelp
Incredible food Cuban is like a dream . So much flavor. Baby burger add bacon....heaven. Both will satisfy everything you need. Beers selection is great too! Go dark, always.
google avatar

Kat D.

Yelp
Came in from Seattle. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! We couldn't decide what to get but our awesome server recommended The Cuban sandwich and it was amazing!! We also got The wings (Buffalo) they were super meaty!! Beer selection is on point with something for every taste! Only one server for the whole restaurant but she was amazing and we didn't even notice she was solo! Overall a 10/10 and we will be back asap! Sorry we didn't get a picture it was so so good we ate it too fast

Yelp
I wish I could tell you how the food or the drinks at this place were, but I can't. I showed up tonight with three friends to have dinner and some drinks. The plan had been to meet up with some other friends who were in town for a wedding, but the servers were very weird about where we could and could not sit. I asked if we could take a seat in the half-empty dining area, to which one of the servers responded, "Well, nobody told us there was a wedding party of 30 coming tonight! You have to give us some time!" Our group of eight (which does not equal 30) finally sat down and the servers ignored us. Nobody brought us water. Nobody brought us menus. Nobody offered to serve us drinks. Is that how you handle all of your customers? I'm no entrepreneur, but it seems like a pretty weird business model where eight people try to give you money and instead of taking it or at least having the courtesy to turn us away, you just let us sit there and ignore us. We eventually left to go to Cozy's Roadhouse, an edgy, avant-garde restaurant that - get this - offered food and alcohol in exchange for US dollars. TL;DR: looking to eat or drink on a Friday night? This is not the place for you.
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
A pretty good beer selection, though stereotypically IPA heavy and lacking in light-bodied options, is the calling card of the Taproom. The eats are good, but a little pricey for what you get, even at happy hour. Not a great value. But most folks are here for the beer anyway. Try the sliders. The service was prompt enough, but kind-of awkward. Our server had boundary issues, actually leaning into us as he took our order. Coupled with the manic grin, silly hat, scruffy face and pornstar mustache, the inches-from-your-face conversation was a little creepy. Dear Taproom servers: I do not want to know what your breath smells like, even if it is minty-fresh. And although I'm a fan of Freddy Mercury, I don't want to feel like he's rubbing himself against me while I'm trying to order a beer. Eeesh. All said, it was just ok. I might be back to try their trivia night, later this month. I think I'll sit at the bar though... Recommended, but you know, with some trepidation...

Ali T.

Yelp
I wish I could give zero stars for the experience we had here. I'll start with when we called to ask about the wait time; the guy was extremely rude on the phone as if he didn't want our business. Once we actually got seated the tension in this place was palpable. Staff screaming at each other, the cooks in the kitchen coming out and interrupting the servers while they were taking orders. Like, what the actual...? To top it all off, two of the 5 people in our party were served food, ate it, while two of us sat there for 20 minutes watching. I NEVER was given my food... and they screwed up a kids order of sliders (brought one when I ordered 2.) What did they do to make it right? The waitress said "sorry; not the best night." Oh they took the tacos I never received off the bill. And I still tipped 18%. I'm actually glad I didn't get my food... two people I was with had horrible diarrhea within an hour. definitely give this place a hard pass when you're on Whidbey. So many other, better places to go. TL;DR: Avoid, avoid avoid.

Sissie B.

Yelp
Recently moved into the area and have now been here twice. Love the pork sliders; delicious!!

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go on the island. Great atmosphere, the food is excellent, and a great selection of draft beer. The owners are very involved and the management is excellent. Family friendly also.

Yelp
It's hard to know whether to give these guys four stars or three; they run a good space and there was nothing at all about our experience to take away. But there was nothing truly individual about it, either. Three stars is supposed to be "A-OK," though, so that's probably fair. This is a big old building on a moderately busy corner a few hundred yards from Highway 20. There's parking out back, a gift shop, a winery tasting room. These guys have the front corner space, but you reach all the businesses via wrap-around porch, so they seem related in a way. Inside, there are multiple tables in a dining room, and multiple others in a bar on the other side. None of these tables has a view of the bay, from what I could see, but that's alright. There are plenty of neons up from PNW and western breweries, and flat screens showing the game. Everything's clean, but the wood and the lighting are somewhat dark. Feels like a nice intimate place to bend an elbow, but with an upbeat vibe. Lots of locals and a few passers-through hanging out for beers (beer seems to be the focus here, though I think I saw hard licks as well). They carry Whidbey breweries, as well as a variety of other PNW stuff. We checked out a hefeweizen from Thirsty Crab, which is a newer south Whidbey brewery, and a Crux IPA. The prices were fair and service was really friendly. Overall, this is a place I'd stop again, but we didn't try the food, and didn't get much of a sense of it other than as a place for a quick refreshment.
google avatar

Naomi C.

Yelp
The owner was extremely rude to us. We were told to look at the menu inside the restaurant so we did then were told the dog couldn't be in the restaurant. I walked outside and she continued to berate me about my dog even outside the restaurant. We decided to leave and will not be back
google avatar

Yelp
Best Cuban I ever did have! (And I have had more than my fair share.) If you can get it with their Silver City stout, I would highly recommend the pairing.

Andy G.

Yelp
Stopped by after hiking at Deception Pass. The food, service, and general atmosphere were fantastic. We sat out on the porch on a nice summer day. My friend and I split the wings. I had the Cubano sandwich and he had one of the specials, Penn Cove Mussels with a curry sauce (which he graciously let me try). All were very good and the Anacortes Red Ale went well with both (searched for it around Seattle but couldn't find it for sale anywhere...too bad). The waitress was attentive and very friendly. Will definitely go here again.

Whidbey V.

Yelp
What's up with this place??? They've been closed all week because of Covid infections with employees but they're opening Saturday again with LIVE MUSIC in that cramped little space. HEY!! Let's spread the virus!!!! SMDH.....
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
A delightful little spot that we stopped at on a whim as we explored Whidbey Island. There's a great beer and cider list and the menu is interesting and fresh. I had a crab cake BLT that I'll be thinking about for awhile. The cake and the aioli were lightly flavored with fresh herbs, really bringing out the flavor. Husband's mac and cheese was melty, gooey and so, so good. This place is right off the main drag in a spot that looks like it's going to be boutiquey, but its so worth finding. There's a big parking lot and you just have to bypass the wine shops and find the Taproom at the far corner. Our server was new, but still did a great job. It's a bit of a no-frills place, but who needs elaborate decor when the food is this fresh and delicious?

Steve M.

Yelp
I consider myself a "wing" connoisseur and order them wherever I go. The 1st take-out order from here was undercooked, but passable; 2nd order was "party wings (not full chicken wings) and the accompanying carrots and celery were dried out, 3rd order was party wings despite server's assurance they were serving full chicken wings. The final straw was when I "unsacked" my takeout, I immediately discovered a large bite had been taken out of one of the celery sticks. Will not return!!

Yelp
Found this great restaurant and so happy we did. Curbside open air outdoor seating, great during COVID times. The sevice was great and the food was amazing! My kids loved the food (pasta and cheese and nachos) and we live the sandwiches. The homemade potato salad was a great side but the tater tots were just as fab. If you are in town this place is highly recommend.

Yelp
I randomly wound up here. Initially everything was fine until 2 cops showed up. They told me that someone outside the bar had called them to tell them that they saw someone stumbling before walking into the bar. The bartender (who happened to be the owner) served me when I got there. We had a decent conversation. Even after the cops left she was civil. But then for reason unknown to me one of the cops came back. That's when she pulled my drink and rudely asked me to leave. While leaving I asked the cop if everything was OK. He told me that it might seem like that I was getting kicked out because of them, but that was not the case. When I said it was unfair that the bartender took my drinks, for no reason without paying me back for it, he joked about writing a Yelp review. It has been a month but I finally decided to write a review... To the owner, fine, you felt uncomfortable with the cops showing up on some random persons complaint, but if you were going to take my drink away from me for no reason (you even told me that you would have not served me if you thought I was intoxicated), you should have been polite and you should have refunded me for the drink..

Yelp
We read the reviews and seemed like an awesome place to go for a date! They also advertised they had live music. We decided to head over and walked in and it was busy (expected). We saw a smaller four person table open in the main bar area and a two person table right next to the stage. It took a bit of time for us to be acknowledged by the staff. We were eventually greeted and told we could have a seat at the two person table. We asked if we could sit at the other table in the bar area since it wasn't right next to the speaker. We were rudely told that it was for four people and not two and they had to save it in case 4 people came in. There was no one behind us waiting. We said we would wait a bit and they said that's fine but a table might not be opening soon. Just kind of off putting. Sad cause it seemed like it would have been a good experience.

Yelp
Delicious food at a great price. We enjoyed their Caesar salad both with chicken and the crab cake. The half size was the perfect amount, very filling. The mussels were so tasty and came with a lot! Staff was awesome, very quick and friendly service!

Yelp
This is the place "locals" come for some of the best & interesting micro beers from the area. Never the same beer, always bringing in something new. You won't find anything standard on tap it's all unique and deserving of a taste. My suggestion, order a flight of beers so you can experience the wide variety. This is a true reflection of what makes Whidbey Island so unique. A small local bar & restaurant with big time cache.

Yelp
A nice treat on a dreary day. We went on a drive on a drizzly afternoon, while vacationing on Whidbey, and had our radar set on Langley. Post lunch we were on the hunt for a brewery...they didn't open for another hour and the rain kicked up. So we headed out and came upon this quite gem. Nice size and can easily see why it is succeeding. Had the pleasure of sharing beer and conversation with the owner, another patron. We felt like locals and the beer was really a treat.

Yelp
I'm in the middle of a two week visit to Whidbey Island (where I used to live) and have already been here twice. The Taproom At Bayview Corner is a nice, cozy, Portlandy place with a comfortable pub atmosphere. The beer list is limited but well-chosen, focusing strongly on Pacific Northwest beers and offering some unusual selections along with familiar names. The menu has a good selection of pub-style options. The Taproom Wings are excellent, tossed with your choice of Buffalo, BBQ, or honey-garlic sauce and served with ranch or blue cheese sauce for dipping. The Cubano sandwich was very good, if a little greasy, an interesting take on of a classic sandwich, including pulled pork as well as ham and served with a delicious bacon potato salad. Service was friendly and helpful although both times I was there they were out of some menu items. I'd recommend the Taproom At Bayview Corner to anyone visiting Whidbey Island.

Yelp
Gotta say, Siri drove us to the back and we ended up at their back office door. It was locked and looked like they were out of business. Owner came it and greeted us directing us to the front. Cool. Sidney (bar tender) was fabulous. Super attentive and friendly. I want to clone her to hire her at my business. Great Spicy burger and good wings. God beers in tap. Overall what makes it for me is the amazing atmosphere and Sidney! Thank you and give that girl a raise. She made our first stop on our anniversary weekend phenomenal. We will be back.
