"In addition to the food stalls, a bar called the Taps at Ph’east is in the works with beer, wine, sake, and cocktails on tap. The Taps is owned by Zach Yurchuck, Cliff Crider, and Mitch Jaffe of Truck & Tap beer truck, which resides at restaurants in Woodstock, Alpharetta, and Duluth." - Beth McKibben

What a great and unique experience. I came for a nearby poke bowl and stayed for the exquisite bourbon selection. The bartenders were friendly and helpful too. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Atlanta.

This is a unique location for Taps in that it is in a the PH’EAST food court area. You can sit at the bar and enjoy your beverage. When you are ready for a bite, you can go over to one of several food-court-like storefronts and order. Mikey, the bartender, knows a lot about bourbons and was willing to share his thoughts on the products of some smaller distilleries. It was an enjoyable time.

Plenty of food choices. Live music on the weekends. Lots of seating options. All of the bartenders are very friendly... And Brandon is a true mixologist. Try their lavender bees knees!

Get your alcohol here before heading into the game or shows. Best prices on pre event drinks in the area. Great selection of Beers and ask for Bubba. He's from the Jax area, too! Rock on Bubba!

I’ve enjoyed the food here whenever I’ve come, however, the bar service has declined in the years since I originally started coming to Ph'East. I visited Taps March 16 around 11:58, stayed until after 12 am. It took a while for service to come to us, even though they saw us sit down, which I forgave initially, as I understood they were busy. But after awhile I felt we were ignored as we were sitting directly at the bar and nobody acknowledged us until we had to stop them mid motion to get a drink ordered. Shortly after, as it looked like they were closing and the manager told us we were fine to stay as he dictates who he allows to stay past closing based on if he likes them or not. At this time I’d like to point out, both me and my friend had our cups from Fat Tuesday with us, nobody stopped and told us we couldn’t have them or even acknowledged them. On March 30th, at this same bar, me and a different friend enter from the patio, not thinking twice about our drinks as I have just gone here from the same place with the exact same cup without issue before not even a full month ago, and times before that as well. We get to the bar and as we are sitting down, immediately tell us we don’t allow other drinks in here. Okay, no problem, we get up to leave and my friend mentions looking for an outlet to charge her phone, and the bartender, who was the manager, yells out “they probably have charges at Fat Tuesday” and then “I said what I said” I have no problem with not bringing in outside food, but to say that as we have clearly left without resistance is completely disrespectful. Two women after us experienced similar except someone rushed to the door to not even let them enter the establishment and was very hostile, even after they confirmed they also had been in there before with Fat Tuesday without incident. If not outside food is allowed, it should be posted at all entries and should be consistent each time you come. And your staff needs to work on being much more hospitable with their customers, the bartender was very disrespectful and has honestly deterred me from going back or recommending there as I don’t want to visit a place that changes rules on a dime and can decide they don’t want to serve me based on a whim, rather than actual actions.

My hubby and I decided to try this place out on our day date, it did not disappoint. Quite a few of these dining style places are popping up more in and around Atlanta, it compares to the new Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market and Marietta Square with an Asian Flare. We ate from Lifting Noodles Ramen and Snack Boxe Bistro 😋. We’ll be back for sure!

Haylee and Will are so awesome. Love coming on Monday nights to see these two. Trivia Tuesdays are also a hit!

Google
Great location for a quick lunch. Ambiance is fun with many choices for Asian cuisine. Parking is close and easy. The staff was friendly and the food was great. When you order, you get a buzzer to let you know when to pick up your order. Make sure to grab a King Fu Tea on your way out!

Yelp
We love Jeffrey! We've come here two years in a row and his service is excellent, he's funny, he's appreciative AND he created a great drink for me. Fun atmosphere and good prices! Live music is so fun, or watch a game on their many screens . Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great selection for anyone who enjoys an adult beverage! There are 40 taps of craft beer, cocktails, wine and sake, plus a selection of fine whiskeys, rums, tequilas and other spirits. The beers on tap are only available at breweries or sold in small batches and the taps will change daily. To my delight, there was even an Other Half IPA on tap when I visited once, and to my knowledge, you can't find that beer anywhere in the state of Georgia. The bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive, so I always stop in when I'm in the area.

Yelp
If the other bars near the stadium are too crowded now there's a new spot to hang out at the battery, closer to Whalburger's and inside the new Ph'East food pavilion! You didn't hear it from me,...ok maybe you did, but here's a suggestion, get a sweet savory drink at Kung Fu Tea and match a perfect liquor depending on your taste! just be sure you're not driving under the influence later. Walk it off or grab some great eats in the same pavilion! The choice is yours!

Yelp
Will and Hailey were excellent. The nicest bartenders and great service. Highly recommend. GoBraves

Yelp
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this place to open! Finally!! Taps is part of the Ph'east food hall. They have multiple beer Taps( which makes this beer nerd very happy), packaged beer (bottles & cans), cocktails, wine and sake. The beer list is a mix of local favorites ( Creature Comfort, Good Word, Six Bridges, Wild Heaven) and some out of state goodies ( Allagash, Ology!, Jester King! Yay a Saison!, Revision) No Japanese beers on tap but they did have them in bottles /cans. Haha I also love the title "Industrial beers" which are your traditional In Bev American style (crap) beers (sorry I'm a craft beer enthusiast. Not sorry) But if that's your thing they are there. Taps does flights as well as a small pour and large pour. I believe its 8oz/12oz. I'm sure it will depend on ABV as the higher the ABV the more likely it will be a smaller pour. You can belly up at the bar, go on the left side to order a drink to carry back to a table orrrr one of the wonderful tap servers will get you a drink from your table. Considering this is an order at the counter food hall, I love you can order drinks at your table. Today was the soft opening and it was packed! I imagine it will stay that way because we don't have to many Asian food options on this side of town. I definitely recommend you make your way there and try some of everything! I can't wait to ge back to try some sake. PS : Taps you should do sake flights. I think that would be WONDERFUL!!

Yelp
It's located at the corner of Battery Avenue and Heritage Court. It's cool to have a variety of Asian food in one place and having a beer and spirits at the same time . Four words I describe this place . Cool-Authentic-Variety-Fun

Yelp
At the heart of Ph'East is the Tap at Ph'East beer bar where you can grab a cocktail, an IPA, a stout, and even a glass of wine. They have something fun every day of the week, our favorite is Tiki Tuesday and they have the perfect drink for it: Scorpion. It's Tiki Heaven! Marrying a taste of the islands with rum, cognac, orange, lemon, and more, it reminds us of a drink you would sip under at a beach bar on a hot Summer day. Don't forget the little umbrella. Plus, we sampled some new local beers like John's favorite the Nolan IPA from Reformation, which he describes as refreshing and slightly hoppy on the back! I (Liz) got a new stout, The Breury Bakery BA Stout with vanilla, cinnamon, and cherry. It's a hefty and boozy stout! Overall, they have a great assortment of cocktails and beers for any drink lover!

Yelp
This is one of my new favorite bars. I have been here three times since they opened. Great selection of Japanese Whisky, curated craft beers and craft cocktails on tap. Located in the Ph'east food hall, Taps has lots of things you cannot find at most other places. For example, they carry Yamazaki 12 year Single Malt Japanese Whisky, one of my favorites. The bar staff is amazing, specifically Colin and Omar. They are the bartenders I have come in contact with on my three trips to Taps. Omar twice and Colin once. They both are very knowledgeable and make bartending look easy. I ate some Laotian food from Snack Boxe Bistro and Omar recommended Beerlao, a light Laotian Lager that went well with the sweet and spicy wings I had. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Yelp
today was Saturday and the special was cat head. I had to ask what cat head was! The bartender was incredibly helpful and told me that Cat Head was a vodka and recommended the Moscow Mule. That's all I needed to hear didn't need to see the rest of the menu and the drink was great. Plus there's usually a guy playing the guitar on the outside patio. The tables are long enough to social distance if that's your thing I went alone so I was social distancing anyway.

Yelp
I've been to Ph'east many times before and thought I would get a drink with my food this time. After ordering, I showed my ID and was told by the worker that they "can't accept vertical ID's". When I said I had never had an issue before she told me there was nothing she could do. When I asked if I could show a different form of ID she said yes, but when I pulled out a picture of my passport (that matched the information on my license) I was told "it's not that I don't believe you but I don't want to lose my job". Im not saying that yt girl working didn't let me order because I was Black, but what I am saying is that Taps won't be getting any money from me again.

Yelp
I enjoyed this place. Love music, great ramen and a cold margarita!!!! This place features about half a dozen Asian themed restaurants with a debuting bar. Nice vibe!

Yelp
I love this love, it's unfortunate that the bartender is not very polite and quite rude. I still come here because I love the place so much but it's hard when this guy won't even try to serve a drink. Uber disappointed:(

Yelp
Wow is all i can say. So impressed to see spots notorious for their quality in this amazing new food terminal. It's smaller than I expected which I liked and only has about 6 little food counters but each is better than the other. The spicy tuna donut at poke burri and the taro boba tea at Kung fu tea have to be two of my faves!! HIGHLY recommend going here for lunch or a first date dinner- great way to break the ice!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place, I'm here for 2 weeks on business and have tried most of the bars in the battery. This one is my favorite, great selection of beers on tap, good food, and wonderfully friendly staff.

Yelp
During this time of COVID - a very nice place to go and have drinks and food outside. Everyone was nice and The band Backroad to Brooklyn was amazing.

Sheritta P.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great for such a beautiful day! Service was phenomenal as well. I highly recommend Amir, the bartender. He was very knowledgeable about the variety of beers and crafted some very tasty cocktails. One in particular was The Scorpion - highly recommended as well. Prices were reasonable. If you're in the Battery area, you will not be dissappointed.
