"From East-West Highway turn left onto Kenilworth Avenue, a two-mile stretch of road filled with taqueria options. Stop number two is Taqueria Tres Reyes, not to be confused with another taqueria under the same name in Manassas, Virginia. This one happens to be one of the oldest taco joints on the strip, and it has a longstanding special: three tacos, plus a choice of soda or juice for $12." - Tim Ebner

Went in to treat myself to a nice Mexican meal after church, the food came out late while everyone else is getting their food, I got kind of confused so I went up to the window to find out what was going on, they finally brought me my food the chicken burrito was so soggy And horrible that it fell apart as soon as I took it out of the foil. I also ordered yuca fries and for a long time they never came finally, 15 minutes into eating my sandwich they tell me they don’t have yuca fries they replacing with french fries. I said OK , I feel like they knew that all along, not very happy, then the fries took another 15 minutes to make. Not a good idea I will not frequent this place ever again.

It’s really not worth it. I went and got carne asada with rice and beans to go and THIS is what they gave me for $16. I’m completely annoyed that I even t spent my money on this I wanted to try out a new place and of course they take your money and give you a tiny amount of food. Like cmon treat me how you would treat yourself. I’m Hispanic so I love to try all kinds of different places. The food tastes great it’s just a little over priced for little food. And the fact that I don’t speak fluent Spanish and they didn’t have anyone there who could speak English to help me out with my order is unprofessional.

Very authentic hispanic food! I tried their chicken quesadilla and chicken burrito! I really enjoyed it! Prices were great too. However, some of the tables were not cleaned. I assume it was because of people leaving it there. Overall great experience! 10/10 🤩

I'm not sure what's up with all the bad reviews about this place, since I kind of just discovered, but I can tell you I was born and raised in Mexico city neighbor state (estado de Mexico) and I know a thing or two when it comes to Mexican stuff, the tacos in my hometown traditionally comes with cilantro and onion, and those with longer onions on the side, here they add cucumber slices as well, the salsas are on the side too, so if you are not into that just mention it since the very beginning so they can avoid those. I usually go for the usual, quick and delicious, so tacos de chorizo, chicken are the ones I've ordered only, but they have a big menu, next time I'm going to try the shrimp cocktail and the elotes, the horchata water is just like the one from hometown, the best I've tried in the DMV, I would bottle it and sell it.

Decent Mexican food establishment. Service is friendly and fast. The menu is varied with different items to try. Atmosphere is clean and bright. Salsas brought out to the table compliment when eating in. Tried a few tacos and a quesadilla. Everything came out as ordered, had to ask for grilled onion, not sure if that’s standard or extra.
