Super authentic San Antonio Mexican Food. I’ll drive halfway across SA for this place! Was super busy but seated right away and service was quick and friendly! The place does have limited parking but there’s free parking a little bit of a walking distance around the corner from the front entrance.

This is an amazing spot. Great food, amazing service, and a unique yet satisfying atmosphere. Great to dine in, take out (with their drive-thru), or cater. Great prices and amazing quality.

food was super delicious! only thing is the ceviche was not my favorite. the lime juice had a little bit salty flavor; kinda weird taste to it. overall not bad. Michelada was great and they offered a 0 beer which complimented it perfectly. thank you to our wonderful server. my wife loved the quesadillas. we will for sure come back!

Awesome nachos! They tasted great. I've passed this restaurant hundreds of times and have always been curious. Finally pulled in. The drive thru was a little tricky, but the food was worth the wait. 2/18/25 finally made it back 🔥

Our second time coming here, the food always looks good and taste flavorful but it’s always cold. The waitress is nice but kind of dismissive. I enjoyed the atmosphere and music that plays it feels authentic this is probably my last time coming here. It was pretty underwhelming in the end. And I gave it a second chance.

Waste of a drive, and waste of time calling my order in ahead. I ordered 4 tacos, waited 10 minutes after ordering before driving to the store. My order wasn’t done when I arrived, which was fine. However I proceeded to wait for another 15 almost 20 minutes after arriving. They need to give you a time that your order will be finished if they’re gonna take their sweet time making the order. Don’t waste your time. Good thing I hadn’t paid yet, just decided to walk out.

Edit: As of my last visit in 2025, the queso dip is a blend of yellow and white 😭! It's not the SAAAAME. Sorry y'all 💔. QUESO BLANCO/white cheese dip ALERT! If you’ve been searching San Antonio for this, look no further. I was actually drawn here because a friend brought tacos in one day and the AMAZING, fluffy, homemade tortillas had me craving more, only to be pleasantly surprised that they also have the best/more superior of cheese dips!! Food was delicious, service was excellent, and it’s right outside base so for military this is a can’t miss spot.

I went here the other night by myself. Inside is always nice, waitresses are always polite. Not all speak English by they try as do the customers. The waitress I had was nice and tried to teach me Spanish of the order I ordered. The food is great, service just as good, and the price will keep you smiling. Definitely give this place a try.

Food was ok not as much flavor as I was expecting kind of bland had to put lots of salt and hot sauce to have some flavor, I had a chicken caldo. The drinks are very good me and my boyfriend had a drink together, service was friendly, ambiance is a little crowded I like the decor and the tables and chairs are nice.

Wanted to have some Mexican food while we were in the area so figured to give Cazadores a try. Slow evening so plenty of seating available. The place was quiet, other than the background music. Order was taken quickly and food came out just as quick. The birria tacos were pretty good, and the crispy tacos were really flavorful. Especially when you expect basic crispy tacos; but their tacos packed some really flavorful meat. Pricing was very reasonable. Another spot to visit when I'm back in the area another time.

The service was horrible. Our servicer walked past the table multiple times without asking if we needed a refill on our drinks or more chips. My friend ordered the shrimp nachos which I wouldn't even call them nachos. The shrimp is till the shit sack in it

The food was hot. My chile relleno was just ok. The service was friendly. Noise level was typical. Spanish music on the speakers. The seats were comfortable. The salsas were so flavorful and delicious! Chips and salsa y'all! I'd be back.

We've gone here several times since moving down the road. While nestled in a corner near Ft Sam and Terrell hills, it feels like you've crossed the border! Unique seating and busy staff. The grilled fish taco was very tasty and all the guys loved their fajita plates; chicken and beef were delicious. Something came with a side of queso and I can't stop thinking of it. I really need to go back just for that and a beer. Didn't love the margarita, but they've got a full bar, so lots of choices.

Ehh, this place has been on my list for a while and I had higher expectations. Stopped in for a late lunch and tried the Plato Mexicano, which comes with (3) cheese enchiladas and a crispy taco. I opted to change my sauce from the red to verdes with high hopes I'd love it. I requested charros instead of refried beans but they brought both, which is always fun cause I do love both. It just depends on the mood. The server also recommended the charros over the refried. The verdes sauce just didn't do it for me. It was very lime-y, almost dominated the whole flavor. I'm not too big a fan of Monterey cheese in the cheese enchilada either, some people love it some people (like me) love the yellow cheese better. It's more cheesy and stringy. Having both beans I can agree that the charros are indeed better than the refried. The charros were pretty good. The rice was cooked very well but could've used a bit more seasoning. Eat the rice with the charros and you'll be good. Crispy taco I honestly can't remember which kinda says a lot for me lol. I know it wasn't bad just wasn't memorable. Overall I'd probably try this place again, but I'm for sure trying something else. Charro beans yes and flour tortillas yes.

How can you improve on perfection? You can't. These guys are perfection and they knock it out of the park every time wwith their delicious food! Actually, they can improve... open up MORE MORE MORE CAZADORES EVERYWHERE!!!! WE LOVE YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE, FOOD AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP is always in season! From the burritos to the seafood try it and you'll love Cazadores. It tastes like home. The ambiance is awesome. Maybe we should keep this Northside 's best kept secret! We love you! Food is excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Very nice ambience with beautiful authentic Mexican chairs as well as booths they're intimate and comfortable. Great place to go with the family and experience quality all around. 5 stars, no doubt.

Service was horrible. I came by to eat in the morning some young lady named ariel i believe served me she was on her phone more than she was paying attention when i called her over. My food was good but was served to me cold.

Nicely furnished restaurant but the food was not as good as what reviews lead us to believe. There are many options in this area and we were disappointed. We are used to Mexican country, comfort food and this was just another run of the mill Mexican restaurant. I'm guessing the military post drives up the reviews with many around that area not knowing how to cook or starved because they've been eating DFAC food for months.

My boyfriend swears by this place for convenience. We have only eaten to go, but it was good. The Chile rellenos was undercooked and he got the tacos, says that it's hard to mess up. We called ahead, said it would be ready in 20, but it was 30 minutes. Just kinda disappointed.

It was a little pricey in my opinions for the quality of torta I received. I would have liked more meat on it. Moose Out

We found this place due to a friend from out of town staying near by. The look of the place and the surrounding area look very sketch with all the bars on the windows. To me it def looks like a hole in the wall, but that gave me hope for the food. We have been 5 times so far and the food the first time was amazing and the rest has been just good. Food is pretty cheap for the amount you get, which is always nice.

Great food the carnitas were great the pastor was good the chalupas were more like tostadas but they were also good. The only reason they get 4 stars is because they only gave me 2 tortillas

Good food, reasonably priced with nice staff. First visit for our family and we will be back. Huge menu, with pictures. Good portions, everyone was stuffed. Our daughter loves the beef enchiladas. All three plates were empty!

First time here for my sister and I. We had a late breakfast, pork chop & egg plate for my sis egg & barbacoa plate for me. Food came out at different times. I have always had the experience that when the table orders, all the food for that table will come out at the same time. Not the case here. The pork chops were WAY undercooked/raw at the bone area. Ruined our appetite. Hector the manager made his way to the table after my sis sent the food back. He did comp her meal. Offered something else off the menu or dessert. We respectfully declined. Saying all this, yes I might try again and maybe Hector could do something special then. Cause we were not HUNGRY after that ordeal! Seemed like a well established place with a great location. The atmosphere was homey.

Asada con nopal is my favorite dish whenever i come to cazadores. This place is always packed whenever I come. But i'd highly recommend asada con nopal. I love it!!!!

Service is as ok, meals didn't all come out at the same time and food was as not seasoned like prior visits. Not sure if that was because this visit was a Sunday maybe the regular cook was out. Refills for drinks wasn't offered and waitress only came back at the end of the meal which was a shame as we wanted to order more drinks.

Cazadores is my husband and Is favorite go to Tex med restaurant. The service is always good and the variety of foods they have are always fresh and delicious! They also have a full bar which is best utilized for brunch or Karaoke! Yes, Karaoke! And GOOD singers. What more could you ask for? Great food, great drinks, and live entertainment!

This is the best place for tacos, ceviche, caldo... basically everything!! It is hard not to give them a solid 5 star review. Hostess, servers, cooks, everyone is always wearing a great smile. I have been an avid customer for 6 years and there is no place in town for a good mojarra frita!! I can keep on going, shrimp cocktail, fish ceviche, filete relleno.. so yummy!!

Incredible food and the service is always great. The food is flavorful without ever being too greasy. The portions are amazing for the price. And, it passes the two tests for Tex-Mex: the tortillas and salsa are excellent. It's a more casual place with plenty of space for larger groups, but no separate party room. It's definitely got my vote for the best Tex-Mex in our area!

One word finally ! I've. Been trying to find a non Tex-mex place forever with good enchiladas .taqueria by far is a winner! If enchilada homage good then all the rest of the menu is too . First time we didn't know if we seat ourselves or wait to be seated.after waiting a few minutes we were approached and seated and handed menus.everyone was nice Me and a friend both ordered enchilada plates.i has the green enchilada He had the red .it came with rice beans and my fav avocado . I'm addicted and will w back to try street tacos and an alcoholic drink .they had a bar inside too.! I def recommend and will be back

Ok so portions are large. Food comes out quick. The whole fish was bigger than I expected. I substituted the rice for fries. I should've stuck with fries. The rice was nothing special and lacked flavor. So i just added tapatio sauce and added guacamole in. That's what it needed, for me anyways...Everyone left full and satisfied. I ordered the churro bites with filling. They were over fried and lacking the cinnamon sugar coat. Went well with coffee.

First thought...metal bars on windows, hole in the wall, dive bar, but don't be judging. There is a reason Google has 4.5+ stars with almost 1500 reviews. Once you go inside, the place was busy. Friendly staff who was attentive from the beginning. We got the fajitas and we absolutely love it! Pretty big portions and so flavorful, seasoned meat. The only thing that was par were the chips. Texture felt like they were made earlier in the day. The margaritas packed a nice punch! Check them out. ChowChow Time!!

The food is always great! My dad discovered it and once in a while we go to eat or get breakfast if not lunch on my work days. The remodel of the place is such a nice ambient to it, seeing the before and after was like wow. The waitress are great , it does take a while to get your food I won't lie but they are always busy so it's understandable and food is delicious so can't complain if tummy is filled lol.

It my birthday dinner and i wanted to have a mini taco platter with my age number written in tacos!!! I called around and a few places said they could do 40 tacos with onions and cilantro. So i called Casadores because my wife likes their pastor tacos. Long story short they said they had never done it before but they did an awesome job!!! And it came with all the trimmings and cups of beans!!!

Food is great as always, but Por dios, I wanna eat in peace, maybe soy medio amargado, but please don't play shakira back to back, for the whole hour and a half nothing but shakira, I swear on jesus precious name, you have ruined my likes for shakira. This spot has some of the best house margaritas in town. It's right down the street from the base. I devoured these four steak tacos and I wish I could've eaten more. Truly a tasty spot‼ This is a must try and I'll be back for sure to this tasty spot

I've been coming to "Cazadores" for almost 10 years now, every time I am in San Antonio. Everything I have ever eaten here has always been great and affordable. I think my typical dish here is the bisteca ranchero, but I've ordered plenty of tacos here as well. It's also just outside the Harry Wurzbach gate, so its an easy lunch getaway if you have enough time.

Waitress At front desk was very rude. Coworkers walking around like they didn't know what to do. Took ten minutes to my drink to. Coworkers didn't give the right order I ask. Trash this restaurant is trash

Let me start by saying the rice here is the best Spanish rice I've ever had!! Ok so we ordered some food to go. I just wanted ceviche and an asada taco. The ceviche was yummie. It had shrimp, fish, avocado, and Pico. It's served with crackers but they'll give you chips if you want them. My hubbie got the carne guisada taco plate which came with guacamole and rice. I took a bite of his rice and claimed the rice as mine. It had so much flavor! I want the recipe!! The tacos were so damn big they looked like burritos! The carne guisada was tender and delicious. I'm a huge fan! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because they forgot my asada taco!

It was a friday night came with my sister visiting town. This restaurant on friday is on fire a big karaokee night, having fun with stranger. We had frozen margarita big huge glasses a lot of flavour and tequila, one f the best margarita in town. The place is well situated parking free around. Those nacho's with their salsa and queso to die for. Actually i gave a 3 stars because the waitress was not friendly she looks like didn't want to be there that night.

I came here the other day. I was riding with the Patriot Guard and a bunch of us stopped for breakfast. There were about a dozen of us and we slid a few tables together. The orders were varied, I had bean and cheese taco with Bacon. All our orders came very close together. My tacos were great. The tortillas were excellent, the beans were perfect and the bacon was crispy. We didn't geta check. We all went to the counter to pay individually. I don't know if that is standard but it worked for me. I'll definitely go back.

Homey place with good homemade food. Got the mini tacos... 5 come on plate with beans. Beans looked great but too salty. Maybe thats taste buds here.. got side of spanish rice which was good.. got the barbacoa and its so soft it melts in your mouth. Good seasoning, not overpowering at all.

This place is solid. Very much the go to Mexican. It's consistent, I have not had a disappointing dish. Generously priced, friendly staff. More of a loud environment. You will not be dissatisfied.

We were there with seven others during lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly. The waitress was very helpfully and took our orders very quickly. The food came out fairly quickly for the whole group. The food was awesome and service was great! Definitely coming back

We bought mini tacos from Taqueria Cazadores and they were amazing! They put so much meat in them and we asked if they could make it into a number for my brother's birthday and they did. The pastor was so good as was the asada!! We ordered 40 mini tacos in total so it was 8 orders of their mini tacos. They provided the limes and avocado slices and cilantro and onion and refried beans and borracho beans as part of the 8 orders of mini tacos. The borracho beans were sooo good!! This experience and food was AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!!

So good food, large portions low price get your attention? This is your place. We ordered up a myriad of dishes and check the photos. Each other frock about 12 bucks. Waitress was attentive. Place was packed for lunch with civilians and the expected military crowd. They got the food out quickly. I always like a place that has expeditions it staff that brings the food to your table even though they aren't your waitress. Hard chairs were a bit uncomfortable so I would choose a booth next time. But the food seems authentic. I had the chicken Fajita quesadilla and it was a little dry. I would order a wet entree to avoid that. Drinks were Texas sized and bottomless. Glad I tried it out. Would do it over if back in town.
