Google
Very Chelsea vibing cozy Taqueria with solid margahritas, tacos and burritos. Menu is quite streamlined, order your main as a taco or burrito. Burritos have rice (red) in them and are a bit more filling. To me these were totally stylee, authentic and filling. Tacos were a bit smaller, choose a portion of 2 or 3 tacos. Terric happy hour with Margs on rocks or frozen - beautiful glass, salt, garnish and delicious margarita, tough to stop at just one or two. Ceiling looks like the inside of a lux car, glowing red bar is the focus of this place with a handful of stools you can cozy up to if you are that lucky customer. There is also a cozy couch-like set of tables right in the middle, also deep red in keeping with the theme. Wait staff is very professional, attentive and very warm and welcoming. They have a 'Taco Tuesday's special, not sure of the details. Very viby music that makes it all real. This is a fairly new establishment. Such a good spot to try, you have my recommendation.

After a few days trying to find some good food in New York, this place was definitely a hit. We’re from Houston and we’re used to good Mexican food and cold beer, which this place definitely had 😮‍💨 We started with the elote and they were prepared so well, with queso fresco and some kind of salsa that just added even more flavor. For a main plate I got the chorizo con papas tacos which had so much flavor and the tortillas were freshly made. The salsas were so good but for anyone who loves spicy salsas, these were fairly mild in spiciness but that does not take away from the flavor at all! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get some good service along with good food, don’t hesitate to come here! They also had good music playing to add more vibe to the restaurant.

Google
The food is AMAZING but the service is what stood out to us the load! Our server, Luis, was absolutely outstanding and one of the most attentive waitstaff we have had in a long time! We will definitely be back for both the food and the service! Ultimately this place is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

Google
Blown away by this place! The food was amazing, we had the guac and chips, elote , and two orders of tacos. It was genuinely an amazing meal. The staff is amazing as well, very attentive and on top of everything. This place is really a five star joint!!!!

Google
The staff was super nice and friendly. (Louis in particular 😃) The decor was fun and fresh. The fish tacos and guacamole were incredible. The churros, which were very good, took a little time to get to the table, so the owner brought us shots of excellent tequila to make up for it! (Unnecessary but greatly appreciated!) love this place! Can’t wait to go back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – A Must-Visit in Hell’s Kitchen! Taqueria Condesa, the brand-new Mexican restaurant that replaced El Centro Unite, absolutely blew us away! The food and service were incredible. With today’s economy, it’s refreshing to find a place where you can be happy, be active, be kind—and be a proud supporter—without needing to be fancy. My friends and I had an amazing time and truly enjoyed every bite. Huge shoutout to the Sait’s management team and our hardworking server, Louis—you made our evening extra special. We’re already looking forward to coming back this weekend for another unforgettable experience and possibly birthday event plan with Leonel. The tequila and mezcal selections are on point, and the freezer margarita is pure HEAVEN. I really hope Condesa adds some fun weekend brunch entertainment soon—something like a drag brunch would be a perfect fit for the heart of Hell’s Kitchen and our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. Open for the local voice suggestions. Welcome to the neighborhood, Condesa! 💃🌮🍹

Google
Taqueria Condesa is a a great spot! The spicy margarita was excellent—just the right kick without overpowering the flavor. They offer a great variety of tacos, each one fresh and full of bold, authentic flavors. Luis was especially welcoming and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend for a fun, flavor filled night out!

Google
Taqueria Condesa did not disappoint! We had the birria tacos, fresh guacamole, and some truly amazing margaritas. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful and gives off a trendy, vibrant Mexican neighborhood vibe. On top of that, our waiter was fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. We’re so happy to have a place like this in our neighborhood — Welcome! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I've dined here three times far since they opened around the corner from me. I was missing El Centro, but Condesa is doing a great job filling the void. Good margs, great guac, and the fish taco is do die for. Just the right amount of crunch, cream, and heat in every bite. I've also sampled the chorizo quesadilla, which was also delicious. I will use any excuse to meet friends here and try all the tacos.

Yelp
Got it! Here's a more playful, IG-caption style version -- same praise, but with fun, flirty energy: Taqueria Condesa Vibes Small, chic, and sexy, this spot is that perfect mix of cozy and classy. The bar only seats four, but the energy fills the whole room (about 100 guests). Shrimp tacos? Flavor on point. The churros (cojetas) with dulce de leche? Heavenly. Sait and Juan are absolute gems super friendly and make sure your drinks stay flowing. Speaking of drinks, those strawberry frozen margaritas are strong and smooth, and the shots go down way too easy Whether you're out with friends or on a cute date night, this place hits every time. Highly recommend Would you like me to tailor it slightly more toward a date night vibe or girls' night out energy?

Yelp
Decent new Mexican spot in Hell's Kitchen. Menu is simple - tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. Had the Birria tacos - 2 for $13.95. They were good, but I've definitely had better. They are pretty small so you might want to get 3 as it doesn't come with anything on the side. Mezcalita was good. Servers were really nice. Overall it feels a little over priced for what you get. Two tiny tacos and 2 margaritas almost $60 with tax and tip. Want rice and beans? Add another $8.

Yelp
Could not be happier this spot is in the neighborhood! Everyone is super friendly, food is a rich in flavor, vibes are welcoming and relaxed. Come solo or come with friends, you will leave happy and full! Pro tip! Don't know what to order, just ask! I got the chicken tinga and I'm so happy I did!

Yelp
Just opened in Hell's Kitchen, filling the void of tacos and margaritas left by the closure a year ago of longtime neighborhood favorite El Centro, we enjoyed a quiet afternoon snack on a beautiful, sunny day in NYC. Providing attentive, friendly service, we tried four different taco varieties from their regular menu: fish, birria (slow-cooked brisket with cheese), chicken tinga, and the carne asada. The tacos were well-made in the style of something you'd typically find in Mexico City, rather than more Americanized, and the majority are made with gluten-free homemade nixtamal (dried corn) tortillas. You can get tacos in orders of 2 or 3 - since there were two of us and it was our first time visiting, we wasted to taste more of the menu so split everything versus getting a full set of one variety for ourselves. The drinks were also great: even though the tequila isn't shared on the menu, it did not appear their house liquor was a well variation (we didn't ask tho). We got the cucumber margarita cocktail, called the Pepino, and a spicy margarita with passion fruit. And while they renovated the interior from the previous restaurant and did a nice job with it, too, the bathroom is still the exact same as before lol. Oh well. But all that said, it's a welcome addition the the neighborhood with good, Mexico City-style tacos that we'll be returning to.

Yelp
The Birria tacos here were pretty good. The carnitas tacos, I'd say, were just okay; the meat needed seasoning. I did like the corn tortillas a lot -- not sure if they make them here, but they were fresh. Husband ordered a burrito, which he wasn't terribly impressed with. Service was good, and I do hope this new place in the neighborhood can thrive. (We aren't drinkers, and everyone else who came in seemed to be going for the margaritas -- their list of choices was pretty long).

Yelp
$17 mocktails are outrageous. This feels like a total rip off. My boyfriend and I live around the corner and we will be going to Revival (just down the street), from here on out, since their ownership goes out of the way to attract new customers with competitive prices. When you live in a neighborhood with restaurants on every corner, you really need to read the room. $17 for some juice is not it.

Yelp
We were so disappointed when El Centro closed, but Taqueria Condesa is very much an upgrade. Food and service was great. We will be back often.

Yelp
The churros at Condesa are absolutely irresistible -- golden, crisp on the outside, and perfectly soft and fluffy inside. They come fresh from the fryer, with just the right amount of cinnamon-sugar coating that melts in your mouth. The dipping caramel is rich and velvety, making every bite indulgent and comforting. It's the perfect sweet ending to a meal, or even worth visiting Condesa just for these churros & a nice cold margarita :)

Yelp
Great food and drinks. Very nice redesign of the space. Louis takes great care of us every time.

Yelp
Great addition to Hell's Kitchen! Delicious margaritas and the tacos were packed with flavor. The staff were all so welcoming and nice. And the vibes / decor inside were a 10/10! Will be back!

Yelp
Our experience at Taqueria Condesa was amazing. The food is delicious and the service great. Our server Cristian was so friendly and extremely helpful. The ambiance is so beautiful and airy. We will definitely return to this jewel in Hell's Kitchen.

Yelp
The food is flavorless and the service still has a lot of kinks to work out. The guacamole looks like green apple sauce, it's shiny with a wet consistency instead of creamy. The tacos have no seasoning, the corn tortillas have a fresh homemade texture but the meat on it is so disappointing that the tortilla doesn't help. The drinks are equally as flavorless. The pepino cocktail sounded refreshing but the flavor was dull and I'm not sure there was any tequila in it. I had ordered mezcal in it but didn't bother correcting them. they already delivered the wrong cocktail to other people at the table and it was clear they were having new restaurant kinks so I let it slide. They asked what we wanted on the rim but only some of our drinks had a rim. The drinks were so bland none of us ordered a second drink. While some of us had finished our tacos others were still eating their food but they started clearing plates and took the silverware of somebody still eating. Overall it's not worth coming here, at least until they figure out the problems but I probably won't try again.
