Gringo here. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, playing along with my unpolished español. Delicious food, simple menu and reasonable prices (cash only).

This place is the best! The food is truly excellent—we had a quesadilla with lengua and a burrito with Al pastor, and both were great. The lengua was super tender and delicious and the Al pastor was perfectly seasoned. The proprietors are lovely and happy to let us practice our Spanish! 😃

I ordered a vegetarian burrito with no cheese. I was asked how spicy. I asked for not spicy. When I got home and took a bite It was all pico and peppers. With only a little bit of beans and rice. It was unbeatable as I can't have spicy food due to stomach conditions. This was the same heat as Thai food Hot. Couldn't even eat three bites. What a waste.

The most hospitable taco truck ever. Room to eat inside in the AC and the owner is so sweet. Amazing food with fresh ingredients and reasonably priced.

I truly love not only the charm of this little taco bus, with its cute little dining area and the great location but I also love the people who work this little joint. The sweet couple running this taco truck are wonderful people, so kind welcoming and friendly, very happy to share their culture and heritage through food with people of all walks of life! The food is absolutely delicious, and they truly care about their customers, even going above and beyond to give me a little surprise today, something I have asked about in the past but sadly is not in their regular menu. I challenge you to find a meal on this menu that isn't delectable! It cannot be done!

I had the chicken tacos. 3 of them. I wanted to get the lengua but im abstaining from beef and pork. Flavorful and tasty. And i like that the tortillas are, I believe made in-house and not supermarket bought. I am visiting from Austin, TX (generally I prefer blue collar food trucks/restos there) and I can sort of tell how traditional tacos should be like. This place is one of them. Friendly and welcoming service. Lady who took my order was very nice. It's affordable but not the largest of portions. I don't mind that as long as the food is good and fresh. Quality of quantity, right. Cash only. They have a sign outside and inside saying this. Come prepared. Ample parking spaces in front of Planet Fitness.

Really good torta sort of a Philly cheesesteak style (melted cheese, green peppers, steak) as opposed to the more taco style (steak, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, etc.). Cute, comfortable atmosphere and very nice hostess.

So good! I hadn't been here until today and really liked it. The food was good with fresh ingredients.. The service was good and let me know almost exactly how long my order would take to cook. I came for lunch and there were several kids from high school across the street, there. I stood in the line of people waiting for their orders and they helped point me to the line where I could make my order. It was clear they had love and respect for this place, too. All good signs. I'll be back.

Low key, family run business inside a bus in a parking lot. Diner vibe. Super unassuming and crazy delicious - while also being affordable! The tortillas are fresh and good and the refried beans were perfection. Bottles of salsa on the tables. You could tell that they had a crew of locals who come in daily for lunch. Definitely worth checking out and we'll be back. Note: They are a cash only business.

Not gunna lie I was little nervous about the bus but it's so cute inside! Authentic delicious street tacos and the couple who runs it (I'm assuming) are absolute sweethearts. Their green hot sauce is fire too. Good food good people. Support your local business and go eat tacos in a truck!!

The burrito sencillo with chicken and their house salsa picante is my favorite - no time/energy to cook treat to myself. The salsa is HOT in an invigorating way that makes your lips tingle, it's spicy but it's doesn't burn, it more... simmers. I love it. I really need to try the whole menu but the burritos makes it hard to deviate! Everything I've seen people order dine-in when I'm there looks legit. The woman working front of house is so lovely, and the food comes out quickly.

Food was so good! I asked for double rice instead of beans and they easily accommodated it! Three different tables inside which can fit four people each! Small but fun to dine in! Kind of a diner feel! Will return if I'm in the area! :)

Tasty, but leaves you feeling good. Very likely the best taco truck/bus in the city. The alambres is to die for, but even a straight up chicken burrito here is wild. Can't wait for the inside to open up again

After watching just the first Act of FAME, I couldn't sit though another Act and neither could my theater going friends. We were hungry so off to the taco truck in the SAAR's parking lot we figured there's no way it could be nearly as bad as FAME was so we had nothing to lose. Two al pastor and two pollo tacos for me, not bad for $5.00. The pollo was ok, not dry like they can tend to be at other taco buses but the al pastor were tasty and they had some grilled pineapple served in them which added a fresh yet sweet bite to the taco. Add a little of their red salsa and these tacos were pretty delicious, the green salsa was good but too mild for me I enjoyed the hotter red salsa. This really is a bus, with bus seats used at their booths for seats, it was cute and much cleaner than some of the other buses around. If you're ever in the the SAAR's parking lot and craving some tacos stop by the bus and get some for just a $1.25 each.

This is the best taco bus in Seattle! So cute and very clean! The vegan burrito was amazing and tasted fresh. My husband enjoyed the steak sandwich. This will be my new regular place to eat for sure.

If there was such a thing as a fine-dining taco truck, this would be it. Actual seats, with cushions on them. Frilly curtains. Heck, the bus itself looks like it was built in the 1980s, making it about 30 years newer than any other taco truck out there. So, if you're looking to take your new date out for an intimate 20 minutes of tacos, this is the place. Foodwise, though, I would rate this place only okay. The tacos I had were good. Very traditional, with just the slightest hint of lard (mmmmm, lard!). Unfortunately, there wasn't a great selection of meats, and--horror of horrors!--no horchata:( Overall, the most restaurant-esque taco truck I've seen, both in ambiance (yay!) and food (meh).

Vegetarian burrito and tacos were fantastic. Burrito had grilled veggies, beans, rice, and just the right amount of guacamole. Great tacos too. The corn tortillas were thick, soft, and chewy, must have been homemade

Taqureia Costa Alegre is a refreshing alternative to the pandering towards sheltered palates found at many hispanic restaurants.I got the quesidilla because I was feeling lazy and didn't know what some of the dishes were (rush decisions, eek!) I found the food to be very savory and worth coming back for. The bus is very cozy, but the couple who works there is super welcoming and friendly. A unique experience in a part of Seattle that I don't normally visit. It's cash only though!

I can't say that I go out of my way to hang out in the Rainier neighborhood, but, if I happen to be in the area, I will definitely consider stopping here for lunch. The proprietors are friendly, and the atmosphere is pretty awesome! How often do you actually sit in a booth inside of a truck! Finally, the food is pretty tasty. It is not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but, for a quick little fix, it definitely does the trick.

This repurposed King County Metro bus serves some of the best Mexican food I've had in the area. I am a sucker for Mexican Restaurants that offer lengua, and this is one that does it well. Their menu is pretty basic, but the food is cooked right in front of you. The food is fantastic. I've had just about everything on their small menu, and its all good. I'm very happy with this place and I'm lucky I live less than 3 blocks away.

Torta De Alambre Delicious!! you gotta try it once at least something on the menu !! Seattle NEEDS more FOOD TRUCKS LIKE THIS!!!i

The couple that runs the truck are incredibly nice and welcoming. The food is also delicious. So far I have only ordered a veggie burrito but it's the best I have found in the city so far.

This restaurant should be on Evening magazine. It's a hollowed out bus with four table tops and waiting area. They serve street tacos which are just meat and onion and cilantro on small tortilla and a wedge of lime. The pork and beef tongue were the tastiest, beef was good but the chicken was dry. They said their green sauce was hot but my wife and I agreed their red sauce was much spicier.

Yummy tacos. Their quesadillas are the best!! They have tables & seating inside the truck which is cool. Cash only though. Their red sauce is extremely spicy. Beware. The burritos are a nice size compared to most around the area. The lady and cook are really friendly. This truck is a yes!

A very friendly place....definitely Torta De Alambre is the bomb. Their hot sauce have a kick to it too. Would for sure return for more Torta. Wish they would have choices. But this would do or else I'll be ordering more food than I can handle.

Holy Alambre Torta! This is my first time here so I can't speak on anything other than this but.....it was absolutely awesome for $8.50! Huge and delicious! Green salsa was good and spicy (not crazy spicy....the red salsa had some serious heat though). The only knock I had was that there was no pickled veg options like other trucks. I'm assuming being across the street from a high school...they can't offer complementary sides as it would probably be raided by the teenage vultures! I was a kid once and totally understand. Anyway it was a great torta and I'll surely be back soon.

I found this place on Yelp and decided to go one day, i love that you can order your food and eat inside of the bus, it's very fun. The food is really yummy and its a great price. I definitely recommend you try it!

This place is pretty cool. I like the bus thing they have going on. It reminds me a train-car restaurants you used to find on the Route 66 back in the days of long car trips in a station wagon. The kay-sah-dilla (pronunciation confirmed by countless viewings of Napoleon Dynamite) I ordered was large and tasty. It came with beans and rice that were okay. The price is more than reasonable and the people who work there are so nice.

Fun, frisky and simple bonafide great Mexican food. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the meats they use. Popular so you may have to wait two shakes.

So glad that I discovered this place! It's in a very convenient location right off Rainier, in the Rite Aid/Dollar Store parking lot (so there's tons of parking available). The bus is very comfortable and cute inside, I visited on a particularly rainy day for take out and it was a very pleasant and warm wait inside the bus. But enough about all that, the food: -tacos al pastor - SO EXCELLENT. I can finally get my Tacos Chukis fix without driving up to Capitol Hill. Definitely will be my go-to menu item. -shrimp quesadilla - really good, a bit pricey for a taco truck (~$11) but it comes with rice and beans and guac, an identical item at a sit down restaurant would probably be 2x as expensive and not as tasty. -steak torta - also really good, they don't skimp on the fillings like some other local trucks do, avocado comes standard (as God intended) and the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. -rice and beans - only thing I was meh about. The flavor of the beans and the texture of the rice was a bit off for me. So visit this bus! I know I will again.

Been coming here for maybe 11 years, love the service and it's such an amazing environment to be in. Love the owners, treat them like family. Everything is delicious, don't have a favorite because everything is just awesome.

The Pollo Torta was the most amazing Torta I've ever had IN MY LIFE. Very kind staff, very clean establishment, and it's in a bus!

This bus is the bomb. Mayas wish it could serve up enchiladas and tacos like these kids. If that ain't enough, how about those frilly curtains and oppositional seating. Really, it's a great spot and the best Mexican food in town.

I love the BBQ Pork Tacos, $2 each and very good. The people that run the place are very nice, it is cash only.

You get to eat tacos INSIDE THE BUS! Tacos were just ok, and they were out of a bunch of stuff (meaty stuff) when I went, but that only takes away a little from the experience of eating tacos in a bus in the parking lot of Saar's.

Best Mexican in Seattle. All the Mexicans go here, and the Health department. It's safe, and delicious! Wow, wish I lived over there!

sweet couple running this place! it's near my home so my sister and I decided to try it out. killer torta de alambre!!!! anything de alambre is a specialty of theirs. my sister had a quesadilla and loved it. had to take my brother back here and he said he'd come back for their tacos for sure. they also serve horchata and Mexican sodas like jarritos, etc. big pluses!!

This is my favorite taco bus/truck in the city. The tortas are the best, prepared with consistently care and attention to detail. Fresh ingredients, kind service, this place is the best. The husband and wife who run this are always very welcoming. (How they can work together day after day in that tiny space is itself amazing.) Also, they are truly humane. Once I saw an obviously poor person come in and ask, "What can I get for $1?" The response was, "What do you want? We'll feed you." They gave this hungry person a massive meal, for no charge. How awesome is that?!

Best Mexican food you can possibly get. Way better than chain food placs like Azteca. i loved there tacos and they were really spicy too.

We had the sandwich. Not sure the name, but it was an awesome blend of a philly cheese steak and a beef burrito. The owners were awesome, and me and a fellow Army recruiter were on a scavenger hunt and they even traded us a nice wall hanging for a rubix cube. It ended up turning into a bicycle that we will donate to someone less fortunate. Great place, great people, great food!

Grab a cold Coke from Mexico and a lime and enjoy a simple and tasty meal! My fav: the delish supitos and mulitas!
